The First full Year in the New Age of Aquarius

The 2008 Mumbai attacks were a series of ten coordinated terrorist attacks across Mumbai, India’s largest city. The attacks, carried out by a Pakistan-based Islamic terrorist group using automatic weapons and grenades, began on 26 November 2008 and ended on 29 November 2008. At least 173 people were killed and at least 308 were injured in the attacks.

According to the ancient Mesopotamian Cosmic Calendar prophecy, the cusp between the Piscean and Aquarian Ages happened last year towards the end of 2008.

The Age of Change is Here

In 2009, humanity enters for the first time a subtle atmosphere of destiny no longer inclined towards the influence of the preceding 20 centuries of the Piscean Age. A new paradigm inches forward, slowly, often painfully towards new and unfamiliar times, to awaken emergent consciousness.

If you look deep inside your hearts you will feel the world is quickening now towards a new season of uncharted destiny. It comes like a deep and often unconscious urge arising in hearts to renew intent much like one intuits the subtle first stirrings of a new season. Sometimes you can feel a new season of History coming on like one can sometimes sense rather than actually “see” the light change in high hot days of August foreshadowing the arrival of autumn. Or, a new age comes at you like the intuition of a waxing sunlight ever so slightly glowing anew in the gloomy days following the Winter Solstice. The apparent exhales obvious signs much later, but to sensitive insight will press the first soft and timid dawning of a new age in 2009.

2009 is the first year in over 20 approaching centuries when the hidden and unfamiliar collective conscious and unconscious influences of the new Aquarian Age have an influential edge on the elapsing Piscean past.

In this first year inclined to the advantage of the Aquarian Age, belief is so Piscean old-age fashioned. The new US President Barack Obama and the rest of us will have to find a novel qualifier to upgrade his slogan, Change we can Believe In. For in the times of 2009, change will be something not to believe in but a Change we can and must become.

We are newborns of new times, as of yet vulnerable and awkwardly finding our footing. So at first, the year 2009 will be bewildering, downright scary and uncomfortable as we like babes become aware of ourselves in it and getting slowly acquainted with its surprises, adapt to its rhythm.

Some fulfilled predictions from last year’s

“Predictions for 2008”

Here are some predictions John Hogue made in the previous book Predictions for 2008: published January, 2008:

1. “You will see [in 2008] some of the greatest floods, droughts, natural disasters and superstorms yet recorded.”

– p. 23, Predictions for 2008

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) concluded that the tornado season of 08 was the most extended and suffered the greatest number of tornados on record. There have been record floods not seen since catastrophic levee breaking deluges of early 1990s . . .

2. “The 2008 fire season will be a firestorm of devil winds greater than in 2007…The extremes of pressure will start the Santa Ana devil wind engine, in a pattern of bellow blown fires across Southern California. “

– p. 25, Predictions for 2008

The LA Times in 12/08, assessing the 2008 fire season, concluded it was far worse than the season of 07 saying, “wildfire spending in California continued its upward climb this year, driven by one of the worst fire seasons in the stateís history. Californian wildfires comprised roughly 1.4 million acres.”

3. “India should brace for another al-Qaeda inspired attack from bases in Pakistan to bring on another Indo-Pak nuclear standoff in 2008. “

– p. 47, Predictions for 2008

Here are some issues covered and some predictions from the new book Predictions for 2009:

1. We will swim in 2009 down rapids of breathtaking historic changes:  China’s economic ascendancy will be in crisis and they may build a Great China Wall of a subtler sort to stop it.

2. We could experience an end to the last lingering totalitarian regimes from the Cold War in North Korea and Cuba whilst a revived Cold War between Russia and America deepens.

3. There will be the beginning of an oil industry crisis bringing on three decades of fossil fuel detox withdrawal for human civilization.

Is 2009 the first year of the so-called Post Abundance Age, where cheap oil has peaked and energy sources forever grow scarcer to find?

Or rather, will crisis galvanize genius to shift us away from one withering abundance to something original and an as of yet taken-for-granted energy source?

Can we in 2009 audaciously hope that after all the false flags of weapons of mass destruction mongering, US invasion, a quagmire of years of occupation, Iraq in consequence of the overthrow of Saddam Hussein just might make it as a fledgling democracy?

Is the roadmap to Israeli Palestinian peace falling to pieces, or has the recent conflict in Gaza galvanized it again?

4. 2009 will bring climate tipping points of no return despite the historic snow and ice storms that blanketed the final month of 2008.

Is global warming real?

The Bush era ends with a major shift in America’s political course, but shifting where? To the left? To the socialist (national or international)?

The free market feeling is gone but are we entering an era of capitalism by government command?

5. 2009 will be the year that saw the beginning of the end of America as a financial superpower.

Has America only to recreate its greatness again in 2009?

Can there be withdrawal from Iraq, or Afghanistan? Will Bush’s blunder evolve into Obama’s tar pit of military quagmires?

Kali Yuga, Age of Iron and runaway materialism.

6. Institutions of our Piscean-Age civilization will begin to collapse in 2009 and there will be intense pain caused by their loss, but every forest fire germinates renewed growth. Disaster is always the Kali Yuga handmaiden of opportunity. Bubbles of excess must pop before balance of still waters can be regained.

This coming new year of the great beginning breeds hope in our hearts and a little terror too of the unknown.

2009 is a year challenging all of us to get creative or get extinct.

Kind of a scary proposition.

Well, it has to be explored because on so many levels humanity seems to be approaching the critical mass of “stupid.”

The housing boondoggle, the hedge funds, the buying and selling of credit that wasn’t even there. General Motors, AIG, knocked on her Fanny Mae, and the voracious Freddie (Big) Mac double-pounder econ-medy of errors and arteries busting investment banks.

From 2008 bailouts of $700-billion, prepare to jump: One, two… Three trillion dollars more we go a stimulating in 2009 to too little change.

Yet fortune favors the boldly creative.

If 2008 was the time of the turn of ages then 2009 is the time to turn it up and get to work on novel solutions.

“Yes we can.” And we will in 2009.

A sign of intelligence is its ability to adapt and recreate.

One of the American people’s greatest contributions to history has been their ability to create new concepts of wealth and reinvent what it is to be an American.

In the book Predictions for 2009 comes an account of how America will recreate new concepts of wealth and what it means to be an American in the year 2009.

A Brief Synopsis by Chapter:

INTRODUCTION:
—2009—
The Terrible Twos

Last year we entered the 36-year long Cosmic Night Cycle where history comes at us more emotional and subjectively driven. 2009 is the “terrible twos” of an infant new age. Learn how we can carry this baby through its hardest year and get our groove in times of change.

CHAPTER 1
The Change We can Become

The “we” in “Change We Can Believe In” includes President Obama as well. He’s played a dangerous game to become this almost messianic President of America upon which all peoples pin their hope. What’s the future of this unique relationship in 2009?

CHAPTER 2
A US Congress of Friendly Rivals
And Enemy Friends

What will be the greatest impediments to Obama’s presidency? The answer will surprise many. See how the astrology of the Inauguration of Obama in 2009 defines the source of status quo resistance to change and encounter that, which galvanizes its eventual and ultimately successful forward progress.

CHAPTER 3
The Economic “Suppression”

Today’s economic woes of the world are an unfamiliar creature of a new era — a kind of hybrid Depression.

How will it be resolved?

CHAPTER 4
The Great Wall of Chinese Protectionism

The success or failure of solutions ventured to end the deep recession of 2009 rely on what China will do in this Chinese New Year of the stubborn Ox.

CHAPTER 5
Earth Changes we can Believe In

Winter ended 2008 with some of the coldest record temperatures, ice and snow blizzard storms endured in a decade of average global temperatures apparently getting warmer and warmer every year since 1998. Is global warming the real deal?

Yes!

See how the winter storms are an indicator that hot climate change is real and coming fast.

CHAPTER 6
The Future of the GOP

Has the Grand Old Party of Lincoln been abducted by a new “Lincoln,” Barack Obama? What could be the path of redemption for Republicans to find a way out of the valley of the shadow of political death to a renewed significance?

CHAPTER 7
Obama’s Experiments:
A Year of Trials and Errors

Obama and his brilliant cabinet of rivals are in for a nasty surprise: education and accomplishments based on knowledge and experience derived from the waning Piscean Age will not solve the social, political and economic problems of the new Aquarian Age. They’ll need something more than intelligence.

Find out what it is.

CHAPTER 8
The “Tail” of Two Partitions Ending

The two most significant international crises in 2009 will either erupt; or, be resolved when mistakes made in the partition of Palestine and India back in 1947 are understood.

CHAPTER 9
Will al-Qaeda Attack America?

Barack Obama is the greatest threat to al-Qaeda’s future. Prepare for the showdown in Pakistan: Obama versus Osama. Prepare for strikes on the US homeland. Follow the numbers and know with vigilance awakened the potential dates for terror attacks in 2009.

CHAPTER 10
Of Emergency and Ecopitalism

Back in late 2007, I predicted the coming economic recession of late 2008. I also presaged a two-year “probation” to follow. If crisis in 2009 can catalyze innovation and genius, we will then slowly improve the global economy in late 2010, rather than see it collapse in an inflationary depression so severe that the world will look a lot like Germany after World War One — a place perfectly suited for political extremism, for new Hitlers.

We can avoid that future. Find out how.

EPILOGUE
Living Securely IN Security

Can a flowering consciousness bend and dance to the winds of human insecurity and not only survive but delight in its flowering? Learn the simple secret that can transform your life in Predictions for 2009.
