Uranus Squared Pluto:
Makes a World
Ripe for Riots

Friends,
If an astrological aspect could wax into a Full Moon, making the tides run to high and low extremes and induce people to act “Looney” and “Moon-moody” all over the planet, the Square of Uranus in Aries with Pluto in Capricorn has entered its Full Moon phase for 2012. As I write this, these two outer planets that influence the mass mind of human mood have been in an exact Square of six degrees since Pluto went direct course out of its retrograde back on 18 September. That is when the crazed human ape in the zoo called Earth started throwing doo doo at the fans, as it were. A riotous vibe exploded across the world as the forces of change, the deep seated desire for people power (Uranus in Aries) found its perfect storm of friction with the forces of suppression, status quo plutocracy (Pluto in Capricorn). Uranian upheaval rampaged on the streets in a rage against the immovable Capricornian machine of banks and two-faced superpowers. People around the world are peeved to piss off point, running about like chickens with their heads cut off – a leaderless rabble in the throes of collective mob catharses bouncing off the walls against the slightest of old nationalistic and religious slights. In Predictions for 2012, written and published at the end of December 2011, my oracle apparently foresaw these riots spreading across the world:

Democracy on the rise in the first half of 2012 collides with the forces of corporate Dominion, of ivory towered oligarchies who aim to suppress it in the second half of 2012. A reawakening of democratic dissent ascending in streets around the world will frighten the dominators. The oligarchies will let slip the dogs of police rioting around the world to put pepper spray and riot stick to skull to knock.

Predictions for 2012
Chapter One:
Dominion versus Democracy

Usually when Pluto enters Capricorn every 248 years one experiences the birth of mass discontent of up and coming classes. The modern middle class was born the last Pluto time, in the British Colonies and across Europe. Then as now, we entered the first years of this long transit (2008-2024) with the Status Quo successfully controlling most Middle Class dissent. The monarchial aristocracies of the 1770s, like the new CEOligarchy of Corporate aristocracy, initially are successful suppressing popular movements. For the opening years of the last Pluto-in-Capricorn transit, the tyranny of King George III stifled dissent until four years before the end of the transit in 1777. That is when the first Tea Party in 1773 threw British tea into Boston Harbor in reaction to King George’s onerous “One-Percenter” tax on tea. Jump ahead 250 years. A new Tea Party demonstrating against taxes came to power in the US House of Representatives during the midterm elections of 2010. This time, however, King George Corp. is far more subtle and sophisticated than George III of old. Today’s corporate aristocracy did not fight it. They bought it. The new Tea Party has been compromised. It sold its ideas to the very people who would use their rebellion not to return America government to the purity of its constitutional virtues but to destroy the government and the people’s constitutional rights, in a creeping coop to replace the US democracy with a new cycle of global Fascism that is corporate-business based. Even now dissent in America brings out highly militarized police forces of a Terrorist Security Industrial Complex created after the 9-11 attacks that more often than not identifies street protesters practicing their First Amendment Rights of free speech and free assembly as a terrorist threat. Often protesters are arrested in their beds before the demonstrations happen. My oracle anticipated this development a year ago:

The government will countenance using this legislation against American citizens as they view free speech as a new kind of terrorism, requiring even the US military to ignore the Fifth Amendment rights of US citizens “calling them enemy combatants” to, in effect, initiate mass arrests to restore “order” in the streets.

Predictions for 2012
Chapter Four:
The American Spring

Sometimes a plutocratic Capricornian power suppresses a rebellion by buying it. Yet, with the “Occupy Walls Street” or “99-percenter” movements, the One-percenter corporate interests exploit the weakness of mobs presenting grievances in the streets, without focus or leadership. The Tea Party is bought; the OWS are not a rabble of rebels without a cause but rebels without a direction or discipline to gain political power to make changes they demand. They play homeless in camps in parks and like the homeless, all you need is a good police riot to flush the rabble out of town.

Again, I must reiterate, that these are the early years, the early degrees of Pluto’s transit through Capricorn. What the corporate aristocracy suppresses today will push back in the near future. There will be revolutions, for good or ill across the world, just like the last time Pluto in the final years of its transit through Capricorn witnessed the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the launching of the American Revolution that brought the age of modern democracy into the world.

America in this current return of Pluto into Capricorn is no longer the trailblazer of this new wave of people power but a follower. The Pluto era of revolutions this time began in North Africa and the Middle East in the Arab Spring in 2011. Though my oracle detailed a similar thing taking place in an “American Spring” by 2012, so far, the seat of the most powerful CEOoligarchic influence on the world has repressed that spring. I will not say what I wrote in my forecasts for 2012 will be proven wrong. I will predict that the details my oracle listed in Chapter Four of millions of Americans taking to the streets, marching on Washington DC have only been delayed one to two years.

Currently, Pluto’s square with Uranus the mass-minded revolutionary has produced a fever spread of mob catharsis around the world, especially in the last few weeks of the exact degree of the square. Rage crosses the world, mindless, irrational, just breaking things, burning embassies, mugging and murdering. There is a lot of collective anger that the smallest trigger, like a stupid fifth-rate movie trailer for the American-made flick called “Innocents of Islam” can spark protests across one-sixth of the human race living in 32 nations with sizable minority or majority populations of Muslims. Unconscious rage, once unleashed will take its own course and leave the smoldering match behind and forgotten as the fire mindlessly runs its course. The Islamic eruption that saw a US Ambassador to Libya killed and US consulates and embassies stormed, vandalized and sometimes torched in Egypt, Libya, Yemen, and a dozen other Muslim countries is a public venting of a half-century of suppressed rage at what is viewed as the two-faced hypocrisy of the United States in its dealings with the Islamic world.

The Western media wrings its hands and asks, “Why do they hate us?”

Wrong question.

Ask why should they like us.

The movie disparaging the Prophet Muhammad was only a trigger for over grievances. For instance, the US proclaims itself a champion of democracy while keeping the Middle East under the boot of Arab dictators it grooms and finances.

Why should they like a country that invades a Muslim country like Iraq, without any provable grounds, kills a million people to give them democratic freedoms they did not request?

How can Muslims love an America that openly pursues planning a new conflict against another Muslim nation, Iran, a fellow signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty on only the presumption, but no proof, that Iran might be using its civilian nuclear program to make atomic weapons?

From the Muslim’s point of view, America ought to be putting pressure on the only country in the region that does have nuclear weapons and is effectively a rogue nuclear power that has not signed the treaty. It is that country that is destabilizing the region with nuclear proliferation. But no, America in the Muslim point of view is a hypocrite nation, looking the other way as that rogue nuclear power threatens to unilaterally attack Iran – perhaps in the next few weeks or months from now. That rogue nation in Muslim eyes is Israel.

People on the Arab streets are vandalizing US Embassies have real grievances; their hatred is against hypocrisy. And you Americans ask, why do they hate you?

Why should they love a people who can unilaterally invade and occupy a country like Iraq, on the same flimsy grounds that Adolf Hitler used to invade Poland to start the Second World War?

What is there to like about the United States when it is gearing up to strike Iran like Poland; or, supporting a similar attack from the one country that introduced these evil doomsday weapons into the Middle East in the first place, with US help.

How can America openly support the spread of democracy in an insurrection in Syria but be so silent about the same Arab Spring being violently suppressed in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain?

Why do they hate you Americans? They do so because you govern yourselves and police the world spouting your values only when it is politically convenient and expedient to do so. You take the most beautiful ideas of freedom and justice that your revolution gave the world in the last Pluto-Capricorn transit then cheapen these with your hypocrisy to today’s transit. That is why they have good grounds to hate you. To them, your Lady Liberty is a harlot on the make.

Even Nostradamus foresaw Lady Liberty in his prophecies about a future war with “Persia” (Iran) – a war he dated astrologically to happen in our near future. The time is coming close when the nation, symbolized by Marianne, the totem of the French Revolution that inspired the Statue of Liberty will become an, “An adulterous lady.” (Read more about these prophecies in my eBook on War with Iran. It will be published on 9 October 2012, click on Nostradamus Iranian predictions.)

The Muslims are late to the party of rioters under the full-moon-like, malefic spell of the Pluto-Uranus Square at its peak these last few weeks. Chinese mobs are gate crashing and burning Japanese embassies over a disputed gathering of rocky desert islands near Taiwan, claimed by China. The Chinese mob mind apparently still has a lot of catharsis left to vent on the Japanese who once unilaterally occupied and raped their land, Iraq-Style, in the 1930s and during World War Two.

In Russia, tens of thousands have massed in Moscow to protest against the oligarchic rule of Vladimir Putin. Before that the world vented a wave of feminine grievance at Russia justice system’s draconian punishment of the punk band Pussy Riot for putting on a punk-street theater show at the altar of Moscow’s largest church – the same one Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin had demolished, but the new “Czar”, Putin, had rebuilt.

Israel is boiling its own OWS demonstrations this summer. You will see tent camps of protesters like the Arab Spring demonstrators living in Cairo’s Tahrir Square or the camps across American parks of Occupy Wall Street. The difference is, these Israeli shanty ten towns within the 1967 borders are not temporary communities enjoying fair weather protest. These camps are years old, filled with homeless Israeli Jews. They wait to be housed because the government lavishes most of its housing resources setting Zionist Jews in high-rise apartments on West Bank and disputed Palestinian lands. A succession of politically right wing and Zionist governments give excessive aid to settlers of a similar political view whilst neglecting hundreds of thousands of other Israelis who are demographically more liberal, moderate and secular.

Pussy riots, housing riots, Putin protests, Chinese nationalism on the red-commie rag and finally let us not leave out the eruption of riot and demonstrations under the peeved influence of Pluto-Uranus Square: The Georgians of the Caucasus. The entire country is outraged with their government’s completely corrupt prison system after cell phone videos revealed a systematic torture and rape of prisoners by their guards. The popular upwelling of collective yet mostly leaderless rage will continue into the autumn, or what some wags are saying will continue in the Muslim world at least as the double entendre suggests: an “Arab Fall”. An Arab “Fall-Apart”.

The Pluto-Uranus Square’s assault on religious feelings continues with a much better movie than Innocents of Islam. I cannot imagine a movie including actors Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix could be as bad as Innocents of Islam even if they tried to camp it up. In their new movie The Master, Hollywood now might expose itself to street protests from Scientologists, who thing Hoffman’s character is far too similar in a negative light to their founding guru, L. Ron Hubbard.

The movie opened recently to critical acclaim. I have not seen it yet but I am looking forward to watching the stellar ensemble that also include Amy Adams and Laura Dern in a movie written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Chief Hollywood Scientologist actor, Tom Cruise, is said to have screened the movie privately with Anderson, and “went through the roof” about the passage wherein the son of the Hubbard-like Hoffman character, Lancaster Dodd, admitted that L. Ron “Dad” was making his religion up as he went along. The executive producer Harvey Weinstein of Miramax protests too loudly that the movie has nothing to do with Scientology or L. Ron Hubbard. (Oh please, Pinocchio, hold that lengthening nose.) Yet, I predict there will neither be much “Collateral” damage, such as lawsuits against Miramax for defamation of Hubbard’s dissed deification. Nor will Tom Cruise’s hair go gray over it to a point he is packing pistols in a gray suit, hijacking Michael J. Fox’s cab to the West Hollywood offices of Miramax to reprise his role as “Vincent” the cold blooded but outrageously cool mafia hit man. (I think the movie Collateral was one of Tom Cruise’s best performances. I highly recommend you all watch it and enjoy the great music tracks.)

Despite the controversies around Scientology, since the year Hubbard died in 1986 when I was writing my first of 19 published books, Nostradamus and the Millennium, I listed Hubbard as one of several founders of new religious movements that have to be considered for a family of Nostradamus quatrains indicating eight clues to recognize the world teacher of our times. Whether I support those on the list or not, as a prophecy scholar I like to hope that I present the potential new Christs with the same evenhandedness used to present my list of Nostradamus’ candidates for his third and final Antichrist, code named Mabus. You can read my Eight Clues theory in the third edition of my first book with its new titled Nostradamus: The New Millennium.

One last word on world riots. Occupy Wall Street is stymied for now but across Europe and especially today in Madrid, Spain, tens of thousands of Spaniards surrounded Spanish Parliament in protest of draconian cuts to social services behind the slogan “Occupy Congress”. They demand fresh elections, claiming the government’s austerity measures show the ruling right-of-center Popular Party misled voters to get elected last November. Hours before the multitude closed in on the Spanish Parliament a small army phalanx of riot police surrounded it, making it look like a fortress. As I post this article, the police engage in opening battles with the protesters.

Spain’s capital is a snapshot, America, of your future, of a similar fortress mentality your government will take, surrounding the US Capitol, the Supreme Court, the White House and the US Treasury building. You will see the police hired to protect the facades of K Street offices, the lairs of lobbyists, when eventually, America-comes-lately to similar demonstrations next year when the recession deepens or in 2014 when something like the Great Depression might return.

Nostradamus:
The War with Iran –
Islamic Prophecies of the Apocalypse

The Final Release Date is in:

(9 October 2012)

My long spells of no new articles in the latter half of summer stem from putting together this complete rebooting of my May 2007 edition of this book. It has jumped from 70,000 to 105,000 words. It is a massive, informative and prophetically unique work. I am at a point in post-production that I think this e-Book will be posted for sale on 9 October 2012, a few days after I return from holding a seminar and being on prophecy panel hosted by Coast to Coast AM’s George Noory at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles for the Conscious Life Expo (5-7 October).

While I was finishing up the eBook, I also created a pile of articles for the blog page. I will soon catch you up on a things related to current events and future trends. If you are already a member of my free newsletter HogueProphecy Bulletin, you will be the first to receive notice of the new articles, plus news about my appearances on radio, TV or when I might be visiting your corner of Planet Earth to lead meditations or workshops. To learn more about the meditations I use, contact me, and put Meditation in the subject line.

Osho defined the core of these meditations in his autobiography, Glimpses of a Golden Childhood:

My way is simple: to be silent, to experience in oneself that which is always the observer and not the observed. To know the knower and forget the known.

Thanks for the response John. I agree, our political and historical perspectives differ, as you say. Nevertheless, I don’t think it’s inconsistent for me to suggest you could reach correct/prescient conclusions even if your political analysis is skewed (at times). One is a right brain activity, the other left. You have a gift, which is why I read and greatly appreciate your blog. I don’t feel a need to be declared “right”, just do my best to form my own understanding. In any event, at the end of the day, Israelis and Palestinians have to have the will to sit down, set aside recriminations and out of respect…dare I say love…achieve an accommodation. There is no other path, if peace is the goal.

John, I respectfully suggest the first part of this post is not one of your better efforts. The analysis seems to spring more from a misguided political perspective than any zone of spiritual enlightenment. I’m sorry and it seems strange to say this to you…but it’s superficial. Although the outcomes you anticipate may well be accurate (not questioning that), the political insights are off-base.

    HOGUE
If the outcomes are accurate then the political insights are a part of that, Rocker. Otherwise, it would be more accurate for your part to simply say my political insights are not yours on the matter.

    ROCKER
You seem to see Islamic fundamentalism as a manifestation of inchoate rage/alienation of masses, as opposed to being rooted in a finely-honed, aggressive ideology.

    HOGUE
Show me in the piece where I say that. Show me in 400 articles posted at Hogueprophecy and in 19 books published that I have ever come close to saying that. Islamic fundamentalism, like Christian or Jewish or Buddhist or atheist or any other fundamental and dogmatic belief system retards human spiritual development. That is what I do say. The rage that you see across the streets of the Muslim world is related to the points of double-standards, colonialism, and outright hypocrisy that Western powers, especially America, practice in the Middle East. That injustice is seen by secular as well as extreme followers of Islam. I have listed these clearly in the above article as an alternative rhetorical question Americans should ask. Rather than ask, Why do they hate us? Americans should ask, “Why should they like us? Then I listed the reasons from the Muslim point of view why we as a nation have not been that likeable over the last half-century.

It seems to me that you are generalizing that all angry Muslims must be fanatics. Is that your position, Rocker?

    ROCKER
Recall that the “spontaneous protests” erupted in Egypt, a country where the U.S. effectively helped put the Muslim Brotherhood in power, our longstanding double-standards and ambivalence about our own democratic values in the region nothwithstanding.

    HOGUE
No… This sounds like a Westerner filtering what happened. Clearly you have not lived in countries with sizable minorities or majorities of Muslims as I have. The “spontaneous protests” came from the people on the streets in Egypt having had enough with the US puppet dictator, Hosni Mubarak, imposed upon them for over four decades. Unfortunately the moderate and secular Egyptians who started the revolution where not as politically organized as the Muslim Brotherhood people. You have to organize yourselves in revolutions, otherwise the extreme gains power. This is true in many countries. It was true in the Russian and Iranian revolutions. Moderates and democratic loving people started these rebellions but they argued and bickered amongst themselves, or behaved like a democracy mob without leadership like Occupy Wall Street. It ever seems that extreme people have discipline and moderates do not. Such is the unconscious conditioning of human beings that dooms them to be so prophetically predictable.

    ROCKER
I could also quibble with a bunch of other points, but two really leap out…1/Do you really believe the Arab world is rooting for Iran (Persia)?

    HOGUE
There is a saying in the Muslim world, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” If the “Ummah” the communities of believers are threatened by America then they will unite against the America, as you are seeing. It is not that the Sunni loves the Shia in Iran, but they do see how US economic and military hypocrisy will attack Sunni and Shia as one and the same target for colonial and military exploitation. Iran in 1953 had a democratic parliament that the CIA overthrew. They put the Shah of Iran back on his throne and he suppressed the country for decades. The CIA put Saddam Hussein in power in Iraq. They took him down when he went rogue.

    ROCKER
I raise this with the Sunni-Shia and longstanding ethnic/cultural clashes in mind, and 2/How can you say “Israel is destabilizing the Middle East with nuclear weapons, when they’ve had them for forty years and no one cared or really worried they would use them unless they were truly threatened existentially (as they are now)? I’ve raised this question before but don’t believe it’s been answered.

    HOGUE
When you introduce weapons of mass destruction into a region, you create the potential for an arms race. You don’t see that as destabilizing the balance of power? Also, when you have such weapons you can occupy countries, launch unilateral wars, make unilateral strikes on your neighbors because without the bomb, they do not dare to push back such hegemony, such bullying. You occupy the West Bank, you invade Southern Lebanon more than once. You strike Iraq to destroy their nuclear reactor. Yes! that was necessary, but who started the arms race, Rocker? Why did Saddam Hussein pursue the very expensive mission of building such weapons? Because Israel introduced such weapons (with US and French aid) and pointed hundreds at Iraq. And what happened when OSIRAK nuclear plant was bombed by the Israelis in 1981? Did is put an end to Saddam’s nuclear ambitions and program? Not in the least. Indeed, it sped up the program, took it underground and a Gulf War of 1991 was needed to take his nuclear ambitions down, at the cost of further and greatly distabilizing the Middle East with the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives.

If Israel finds one day that Iran is a nuclear power, that will be the day it must solve its problems with diplomacy, not unilateral bullying attacks, incursions, and occupations of its neighbors. Why? Because the biggest bully on the block for the last half-century, will now have some competition. What is truly ugly about atomic weapons is that they give the holder the power to bully his neighbors who do not have them with doomsday blackmail. Thus his neighbors “must” have them to protect themselves.

There are many other things I could cite but I’m so busy right now that I shouldn’t even be taking the time to respond to your letter, though I feel it needs one because you have made an effort to present your comment with thoughtful consideration which is rare. I want to reward that with a answer and I encourage those of you reading this to take the same time and care Rocker has to present a question. And perhaps you can even improve upon what Rocker has tried to do.

    ROCKER
Thank you, as always, for the service you provide us all in forcing us to examine ourselves and look below the surface. It’s not always easy – for any of us.

    HOGUE
To best understand my take and experiences on this very complicated nature of the Middle East and its three end time religions. Enjoy the forum in October. I met Dannion Brinkley at one of these events many years ago, quite an interesting fellow. Of note, I am sure you heard the news about the Chinese workers riot at the Apple factory in China. Maybe this is just one of many that are coming down the road. Let’s keep our fingers crossed in terms of the elections, will be really interesting here in Florida, land of the hanging chad.

    HOGUE
As it stands now on 27 September, Obama is pulling away from Romney in Florida and in several other battleground states. The perception is, that the economy is slowly improving and as we know “perception” is politics is considered “fact” so that doesn’t bode well for a Romney victory. Moreover, Mitt has chosen a particularly stupid approach, just going to win by lobbying his base of right-wing, white, middle aged males. You have to go for the independents to win anything in this land. The man has alienated the Latino vote, which in Predictions for 2012 I forecast would be the statistical death knell of his campaign. Though we are entering another Mercury Retrograde National Election in 2012, like the hanging chads of Florida 2000, I have predicted and feel quite confident that the retrograde will go against Romney this time and not the incumbent president. By the way, I am not an Obama supporter. My political predictions are accurate because I have found a way of reading the signs above and beyond whom I vote for.

hAHAHA, “Obama is pulling away…” hahaha, all yo have to do is follow the money. Whoever is getting the most money from Goldman Suchs (you suck too John) is the winner:

      2004: Bush
      2008: Obomba
      2012: Kerry

Two parties? More like two wings of the same bank owned one party corporate fascists system, you twit.

      HOGUE
An idiot always passes sweeping judgment on the lightest of reading. Where have you been Frank? A shallow read of my work produces this shallow comment. I have covered these elements years before you had this brain fart about it. Peruse 12 years of 400 articles about what I’ve said about the creeping corporate coup, the two faced monopoly of the Demorepublican party game. Cheesh!
