It is presented in the following 12 articles, set down between 30 January through 22 February 2026 and published one week before the war began with remarkable accuracy of it following! You are not reading something that is past, but something that is in future tense, PRESENT!

I began writing my first publications about Nostradamus’ prophecies concerning the themes of nations of Western Asia (formerly called the Middle East) where this most famous of prophets, the French Michel Nostradamus, back in the 1550s, foresaw a potential future “Armageddon” in the Holy Land, pitting Iran, Israel, and Iraq. I first began writing about it in November of 1983 in articles for the Rajneesh Times, warning how it could possibly drag the United States and Russia, into the world’s greatest conflagration, a World War III.
In the following articles are excepts and distillations of what I’ve interpreted to be Nostradamus’ visions that, at this decisive mid-point of the 2020s, might see his visions of a final battle coming their closest to being fulfilled.
That also, equally, means that they are closest to being disengaged from, rendered instead into alternative futures that could have happened, that very well came closest to happening as they also came closest, to never happening.
Forty-three years and three months later, we are entering that critical moment now, call it a Judgement Day on a fascinating and detailed vision being at last judged by time and events to have been either very soon engaged and fulfilled, or passed over forever.
Some of you who once were, or still are, disciples of Osho who shared experiences with me, knowing me by my Sanskrit name Swami Dhyan Arjuna, we together being citizens/communards of Osho’s commune in Oregon (1981 through early1986), may still remember my most early attempts at decoding Nostradamus and articles in our weekly newspaper, The Rajneesh Times, such as my first effort under the name “Arjuna” in late 1983, entitled, Nostradamus: The man who foretold the apocalypse 450 years before it happened (Rajneesh Times, Friday, November 18, 1983).
I published, in total, around five articles between November 1983 through November 1985, just before Osho’s commune disbanded and the US government scattered we communards like ants (red ants considering our wearing shades of red as Ma’s and Swamis of the NeoSannyas Movement) to the four corners of Earth, eventually gathering again back in our first spiritual living space, the Rajneeshdam Ashram in Pune, India. Osho had returned there to commune with us again in daily discourse by early 1987.
He had been a victim of poisoning by the US government by then and would leave his body on 19 January 1990. I was there for most of those final years and lingered in his Ashram up into end of July of 1990 before I returned to the United States, and settled down in the rainy, green-forest shadowed land of snow-capped mountains, inland seas and forests of the Pacific Northwest. I finally made my permanent home base on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound in August 2001 after first residing for 11 years in Downtown Seattle, WA, in the Capitol Hill District, until my final pilgrimage to India brought me back one last time to the Ashram.
By then it had become a lovely “Club Meditation Resort” as per Osho’s dream. I made my last pilgrimage there, first flying into Mumbai, then taking an overnight bus up over the Western Ghat (step) Mountains onto the Deccan plateau reaching Pune, India’s wooded neighborhood of Koregaon Park. I had not set foot through the “Gateless Gate” for 11 years (truly gateless now, for it had disappeared), staying there from late January though late March 2001. I went daily into deep meditations sitting right before the Samadhi that contained Osho’s ashes.
Something mysterious happenless-happened, a depth of relaxing into a profound and lingering depth that, when it was time to say my farewells to Pune, where I was initiated by Osho’s hand in October of 1980, henceforward, to this very day, the Samadhi’s deep space of witnessing presence had found a home inside of me and followed me back to Seattle.
But with an additional mystery tagging along.
A growing premonition that something was about to happen. Something that would change the course of my life’s work and change the course of human history, for better and worse.
From March 2001 the premonition grew to its peak on 10 September, after I had just moved myself and my mother, Ma Dhyan Vipassana, to the village of Langley, Whidbey Island, plugging in my computer just days before it was about to be overwhelmed with 20,000 hits a second on the morning of 11 September 2001 with the Terror attack on the Twin Towers in New York changing my life forever, bringing far more attention to my work than ever before, because even as far back at 1983, one of my earliest articles dwelled upon the possibility of New York City and its “hollow mountains,” as Nostradamus called them in his prophecies, being “plunged into a boiling cauldron” made of their debris clouds, being fulfilled before my eyes watching it on television that morning.
But that’s an entirely different story not to tell here in detail, spanning from November 1983 to 11 September 2001 about my becoming a prophetic detective, thoroughly documenting and evolving the vision of the New York terror attack, gaining a clearer vision of it as its precognitive real time moment came near. I wrote a short book about it called Nostradamus: Premonitions of 9/11. Please read it. It is an amazing story, amazing as it is entirely true.
The main thrust of my 9 articles in this HogueProphecy Report concerns another potential history-changing event that I have written about since 1987 to the present day that might explode upon us any day now. What I have distilled for you in this newest February 2026 Hogue Prophecy Report is one of Nostradamus’ most elaborate journeys in future tense set down 4.7 centuries ago, bringing us his vision that seems very likely to be about current warfare happening since 2024 between Iran and Israel, and the United States, in Western Asia that I think may be soon coming to a temporal “head.” It could either erupt any moment from now down the next two years, or we will have passed beyond this danger, like Nostradamus in his often-dire predictions intended us to do, if we heed them.
Here in brief, after I began my study of Nostradamus in earnest, in Osho’s the Oregon Commune, is a step-by-step overview of how a potential Armageddon theme he set down, drawing in the United States to fight Israel’s wars for it, could end up, and soon, a US-Israeli collision with the Islamic Republic of Iran. I contend that Nostradamus’ take on this theme is unique to other great prophets of the Bible, arguably because his visions from Renaissance France in the 1550s is 1.5 millennia closer to the events than the biblical prophets were.
So here I begin my interpretive tale…
After the Rajneesh Times articles, a lot of my principle, Armageddon-themed interpretations further fleshed themselves out in my first book, Nostradamus and the Millennium (Doubleday-Dolphin, 1987) which was my first major bestseller in nine languages. A more extensive update of it would follow entitled Nostradamus: The New Revelations (Element Books, 1994). These first two books were noted for their innovated “magazine-style” coffee-table book layouts, but my third book released later in 1994 was a revolution in coffee table book design, entitled, THE MILLENNIUM BOOK OF PROPHECY: 777 VISION AND PREDICTIONS from Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, Gurdjieff, Tamo-san, Madame Blavatsky, the Old and New Testament Prophets and 89 others.(HarpersSanFrancisco, 1994).
While “up-over” in Seattle, I collaborated with Australian designer, Annaliese Jahn of I’kon Design “down-under,” she working in the Aboriginal-named downtown district of Woolloomooloo, in Sydney, Australia, and together we made a book on collective prophecies become itself an accurate prophecy in future book design, or as some reviewers called it, that “explosion in the printer’s shop!”
What we did basically was foresee for the first time what would be the computer and cellphone designs of cyberspace websites of the early twenty-first century a decade before they caught up with us. For instance, we let text be free of the standard page margins, like computers, iPads and cellphones do.
Some people complained that it made their eye muscles have to stretch to the new reality all people now have adapted to, taking it for granted. What we did in book design reminds me of what Ludwig van Beethoven and Richard Wagner did to musicians and singers with their revolutionary music, forcing them, sometimes kicking and screaming, to relearn their fingering of instruments, and relearn new, more full-bodied singing techniques it required, thus opening musicality by the mid-nineteenth century for a musical-dramatic revolution called “The New Wave” of the Romantic and Late Romantic eras.
You might call this Hogue and Jahn book design our “Tristan und Isolde” revolution, defining a new way to redesign books as Wagner reinvented classical music, turning Opera into Music Drama, setting the foundation for his vision of a Total (multi-media) Artwork of the Future. In our case Anneliese and I might have started a print design multi-media revolution for the twenty-first century. Our “explosion in the printer’s shop” was like Wagner’s Tristan chord, the creator of modern music.
With this book I also established many of the themes about our future that I’ve further expanded upon and developed down the next 32 years into the present, concerning themes such as the roaring 2020s, the light (and dark) sides to the Aquarian Age, Global Warming, Armageddon, the future of religion and the advent of a New Humanity, etc.
Richard Wagner (c. 1871), prophet of the multi-media, total staged art and drama work of the future. He had foreseen multi-media in 1849, over a century before Marshal McCluan pretended to have foreseen it first. Wagner had anticipated motion pictures with movie scores taking up his musical thematic ideas a half-century before there were motion pictures, and 80 years before they had sound and music adding the multi-media quality Wagner had foreseen. The new, musical art form of the movie score concept was birthed by Wagner’s thematic music dramas. The bridge to Hollywood motion pictures was made out of great European composers, like Wolfgang Korngold and Max Steiner base the movie score concept on Wagner’s thematic music dramas. The year 1994 was also a breakout year for beginning my three-decade-plus appearances on Coast-to-Coast AM, the first ten years with Art Bell, the next three-decades-plus with George Noory.
I also made my first huge splash on American television, appearing in NBC’s Ancient Prophecies series with David McCaulum as host. It was only supposed to be one-off 2-hour special, but its ratings were so incredible that NBC produced another three 2-hour segments. In all four, I had my own 15-minute segment in each.
I ended protean 1994 setting down my most famous and some say infamous, prediction, taping a segment in November 1994 introducing it for the 2-hour special on Fox Network, entitled Prophecies of the Millennium. I was asked if terrorists would attempt another try at taking down the World Trade Center building, that had been attacked unsuccessfully in February 1993, I said the Twin Towers would completely collapse in a second terror attack, from the sky, rather than the last time from a heavily-laden U-Haul truck bomb blowing up in the underground car park. The production also depicted my statements with a small nuclear device flashing over the two towers. After the flash cleared there where boiling clouds of the detonation showing the towers and the New York Battery District as piles of flaming rubble.
After my third book came an epic fourth one that I will draw quotes from in the following articles, written in the mid-1990s entitled, Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies (Element Books, 1997). Only four Nostradamian scholars have attempted a complete examination down 4.7 centuries, starting in the mid-twentieth century with Henry C. Roberts in 1947, followed by Edgar Leoni in 1961, then me in 1997 and finally Mario Reading in 1998. Mine at 964 pages is the longest but given the constraints of book publishers and printing costs, none of us can say we have given you the “complete” works of Nostradamus’ prophecies.
We only tried to give you a complete example of Nostradamus best known work, Les Propheties (The Prophecies). He first released it in three serializations, published in 1555, 1557, 1558 and 1561—all of which finally, posthumously was gathered in a single volume by 1568, that includes around 1,159 quatrains (his four-lined poem prophecies) set in 10 Centuries (volumes) of 100 quatrains each, Century 7 being fragmentary. Plus there was a handful of quatrains intended for an extra Centuries 11 and 12 started but never completed, plus 141 of his Almanac Presages in Verse and finally his two, rambling, massive prose narrative works, the Preface to Cesar and the Epistle to Henry II.
Roberts was the lightest read with threadbare, often one-liner interpretations. Leoni gave us a masterwork in scholarship, but he openly, and honestly, admitted that he didn’t understand the occult and theurgic gifts of Nostradamus, which if he had, his great work would have been the greatest among the four of us. My work, though the longest, was constrained by the publishers limiting my word space to such an extent that, though it was a great success, publishing cost constraints, keeping it under 1,000 pages, I think did not do justice to Nostradamus’ “the Prophecies.” Still, I got away with far more lengthy interpretations than anyone else thus far.
It also became a bestselling book three years later in the autumn of 2001 for many reasons but primarily because of 23 references I listed in it about the twin towers of the “Great new city” that he called the “hollow mountains” being “plunged into a boiling cauldron” of gray and poisonous debris “no later than in 2001.”
Book publishers of New York, because of the 9/11 catastrophe, cancelled all their autumn book tours in 2001, and in one of those mysteries of book publishing, a 1,000-page book that was already three years in print, suddenly for a few months became a major best seller on, of all quirky things, the prophecies of Nostradamus!
I found out about it later on that Good Morning America did a 15-minute story on me and that book.
I’m going to “write” the wrong about this “Complete” prophecy book being incomplete.
Since 2019, I have gathered Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies and all my other Nostradamus-by-theme books and began updating the lot for a far grander attempt at truly and completely covering ALL of Nostradamus’ works. Thus far I have updated all but three quatrains from “The Prophecies” and Presage Verses, including the newly rediscovered ones bringing the number up from 141 to 154. Moreover, I’ve just finished not long ago what is a milestone in the history of Nostradamian study.
Just a week ago, I finished editing passes one, two and three of my translation of ALL of a more massive body of Nostradamus’ work, larger than “The Prophecies,” consisting of 1,639 prose prophecies he set down in his annual Almanacs published from 1550, (1551 is missing) 1552 through 1559. After that he only did around 12 to 14 verses on average for the almanacs remaining, of 1560 through to the posthumously published almanac of 1567.
It took me a year to translate the first run-through. Starting in the last three days of August 2025 through 30 January 2026 I completed far more thorough runs two and three.
Now the translation is 90 percent ready, and, in this new year of 2026, I will complete the translation as well as bring my interpretation of these 1,639 presages in prose to a solid first draft. The prose prophecies of 1550 through 1555 will be completely edited and published along with the first volume of four planned for release at the end of the following years: 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2031. Each of these four volumes will be around 750 pages.
When this epic work is finally published by 2031, it will be the unquestioned COMPLETE examination of ALL of Nostradamus’ prophecies, including some of his articles of further prophecies too, with all the Almanac prophecies for the first time translated and interpreted in great detail.
Many of which do what I notice was done in the better-known Presages in Verse. Mostly they dwell on forecasting local and near future events per annum, yet sometimes they jump forward from the months, even years, even centuries of their indexing, right up to our times and possibly beyond.
So, here we will soon have a huge wealth of Nostradamus’ prophecies, the larger mass of what he set down AT LAST available for all to completely read, interspersed through my updates of his better known “The Prophecies” and this time, each of these quatrains and two prophetic letters will get their deserved room on the pages to share themselves.
If one requires one line, fine.
There are others that require 20 pages or more to complete their story of tomorrow. This Nostradamus Project will be my “last word” on the matter of Nostradamus and his prophecies.
In March 1996, Fox Network broadcast what I taped in November 1994 in what was seen across the United States and parts of Canada called Prophecies of the Millennium with Edward James Olmos as host. Five years and six months later, one of its reruns aired across America and parts of Canada two weeks before two hijacked passenger jets slammed into the World Trade Center’s Tower One and Tower Two, bringing them down with nearly 3,000 people killed!
In 1998 I published THE LAST POPE: The Decline and Fall of the Church of Rome: The Prophecies of St. Malachy for the New Millennium (Element Books). It was also a bestseller and like Nostradamus the Complete Prophecies would do three years later, for a time in 1998, it hit that rare pinnacle of being number one in ALL genres, fiction and non-fiction at Amazon. The Last Pope expanded on my prophecies from Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies about the future of the Popes and the Papacy and Armageddon themes.
A further updated version of my first book Nostradamus and the Millennium was written at the end of 2001 including my updates of 9/11. It was published the following year by Element/HarperCollins London, entitled Nostradamus: The New Millennium. I also published in 2002 The Essential Nostradamus Book. Then came, as a surprise to me, the chance to write the first real biography on Nostradamus published in December 2003 on the 500th anniversary of his birth in 1503.
Because he was one of the earliest bestselling authors of the new printing age, except for his almanac for 1551, most of his other works have survived down the last 4.7 centuries to the present day. Thus, my critically-acclaimed biography, Nostradamus: A Life and Myth (Thorson/Element-Harper Collins, London) has the distinction of being the first full-bodied biography on the man, being over 450 pages long. Why it came to me to write it, given all the mass of material on Nostradamus available for many others to have done it long before I did, puzzled me, until I began work on the project in 2003. When I was halfway through it, I discovered why and had to begin the book all over again.
You cannot separate the Nostradamus of fact from the Nostradamus of myth.
So I didn’t.
Not only was it a detailed examination of his life but also of his myth interwoven in it. Indeed the subplot was a study in all the rich ways the word Myth, can mean, flim-flam, fake, all the way to its highest meanings, like an essential truth that is higher than any mere fact.
That biography was my last foray publishing with corporate publishing houses, which, by the turn of the millennium, suffered a collective brain fart that has continued, believing that no one is interested in prophecy anymore once the millennium had turned. Also, something tragic was developing in the new century, a deeper level of corporate inhumanity. If first corporately killed the music industry in the 1990s, next in the 2000 it corporately killed publishing.
Publishers used to value the human being that made product for them. And if your book was selling well, they were eager to enlarge yours, and their audience and keep you writing bestselling books for yourself and them to your mutual profit. It is through books being reprinted that an author could make a living with the big publishers, but at the turn of the century they were telling me over the phone at HarperCollins in London, that despite the first run of my book being sold out in its first month published, they weren’t going to reprint it, even though its performance clearly indicated that it was heading like my other books (Nostradamus and the Millennium, Millennium Book of Prophecy, Nostradamus the Complete Prophecies and Last Pope) was heading towards being a bestseller pm the HarperCollins booklist.
I was told by a matter-of-fact and cold woman’s voice on the other end of the line, that readers were more interested in the sordid lives of football (soccer) stars and their wives than Nostradamus, “and anyway,” she admitted, “we make the same money by just filling bookstore shelves with anyone’s printed book whoever’s writing it rather than doing reprints.”
So they no longer care. The product, not the person who could keep giving them product, head and shoulders above the sorry authors, mostly never to see reprints, who now stuff “my” best-selling shelf space in their bookstores, is all the same dead and bound tree matter to them. They’re investing on one-time wonders.
It’s no wonder that big publishers are struggling and many smaller ones have vanished. They’re doing the same “Stupid” that corporate Las Vegas is doing, no longer keeping their city open and affordable to attract working class people, but rather, gambling on the town’s financial future only a serving high-roller gamblers.
How’s that working for you Las Vegas?! Your profits are crashing!
Las Vegas might end up a ghost town because its casino owners “ghost” the people who made the town vibrant and profitable since the 1950s.
Hence, in this new century, I finally severed my association with corporate publishers. And anyway, I love the freedom being my own publisher brings me. At the same time, computer technologies exploded onto the scene making self-publishing affordable.
I established www.HogueProphecy.com, began my career as an author of articles and essays in the 2000s and as you can see, I continued since 2020 writing first my HogueProphecy eMagazine, that has evolved into what you are reading today, the HogueProphecy Report, which is now coming out roughly every month to six weeks, rather than a quarterly.
Thus far, I’ve written 53 books published in 22 languages. I will be quoting in the articles below, Nostradamus’ predictions about the themes of Iran-nageddon and Zion-nageddon, from some of the books listed above, and a number of books I’ve written so far in this new century, which are listed below in red by the number when created in this century, after I wrote 11 books for corporate publishers from 1987 through 2003. I’ve bundled together the multiple editions of some of these I’m quoting from below in the next seven articles:

Apologies for the length of it. These days I want to keep my HogueProphecy Reports as close to a one-sitting affair for my readers as I can so that I can send you less material yet more frequent releases as so many of you desire. Of course there are also many of you who like my “long form” so this Report will favor that a bit by coming in over my shorter form limit of 20,000 words by 11,000 extra words.
Except for this first article and the last two, the bulk of what I’m sending you has been already written months ago, years too, decades even, so, except for my segues in bold font leading you from one article or explaining one update to another, I’ve written 80 percent what you will now be reading already since 1987 to the present.

THE CONVERGENCE OF WESTERN ADVERSARIES OF IRAN
Openly Foreseen by Nostradamus
Nostradamus often ceases to be so obscure, coming into the clear, when there is a clear and present danger of a humanity-threatening war. In this case, the victims and victimizers of such a war are laid out before us.
First, he introduces to us Persia (Iran), coming to his attention when he wrote the following in 1554, that would accurately date events 173 years into the future in the year 1727 that began the Prophet’s meditation on Persia’s future as a nation of destiny in our present times:

The third climate under Aries comprised,
In the year 1727, in October:
The Shah of Persia, captured by those of Egypt.
Conflict, death, loss: great shame to the cross.
The three climates of Aries are: initiative, activity and enterprise. The Old French and Latin roots would call in this poetical turn of meaning the territory that Aries in astrology rules. Enterprise, therefore, is the third climate and in this case the weather’s enterprise is stormy with the winds and thunders of war. Yet since Aries rules new beginnings, new cycles, what follows war in this verse, the new enterprise of peace.
Egypt once again is used as a synecdoche, a popular sixteenth-century Greek grammatical trick, making the part represent the whole. Egypt in 1727 stands for the Turks and their Ottoman Empire, of which it was a key province at that time. Although the Shah Ashraf of Persia was not captured, many historians agree the peace arrangement ratified in October 1727 was more advantageous to the Turks and the majority Sunni sect of Islam. The lands of Tauris, Emvan, and Hamadan were returned in recognition of Shah Ashraf’s dynasty and in turn he recognized the Ottoman Sultan as legitimate successor to the Caliph. The Shah, primarily ruling over most of the largest contending minority Muslim sect, the Shia, thus allowed the spiritual leadership role of all Muslims to be captured by a Muslim of the Sunni majority sect. The treaty of 1727 ended centuries of dispute and bloodshed between Sunni and Shia believers (conflict, death), putting the Christian West at a loss for it made Islam stronger.
I further expanded upon this important geopolitical quatrain in Nostradamus: The War With Iran—Islamic Prophecies of the Apocalypse:
Nostradamus, in a rare moment of unobscured prophecy, foresaw in 1554 the significant marginalization of the Shia Muslim by the Sunni Muslim majority Caliphate by peace treaty in October 1727. The final line of 3Q77 may launch his gaze far beyond 1727 into the future:

The strengthening of two great empires of Islam in the short term might appear to have put the Christian nations at a disadvantage as I originally stated in an earlier interpretation in Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies (1997). However, I think what I said then puts too much emphasis on an alliance of Persian and Ottoman empires in decline during the 1700s, whilst the Western powers, such as Britain and the French Empire of Louis XIV were beginning their imperial ascendancy—from which no Muslim state could eventually resist… I believe this final line reaches farther ahead to the conflict, death, loss, and ultimate shame to the cross of Christian nations near our times.
The loss to Christendom reverberates especially to the present day and perhaps climaxing in the near future. Shia dominant Persia (modern Iran) is now an emerging regional superpower that could become a chief player in the future flow of modern Christendom’s oil addiction if it makes good its threat if attacked by Western Sunni Muslim allies, such as Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, to close the Strait of Hormuz where 35 percent of the world’s oil exports flow.

Next is introduced the greatest victimizer of Muslims in Western Asia, both Arab and Iranian, foreseeing the Six Day War of Israel, that in less than a week, had greatly expanded its territories across the Egyptian possession of the Sinai Peninsula all the way west to the Nile. Israel had momentarily achieved seizure of the first boundary for a “Greater Israel,” promised to the Hebrews by “God” in the Old Testament delineated by the Nile at its westernmost expansion. Its easternmost expansion would someday penetrate Iraq up to the right bank of the Euphrates River.
Both rivers appear on the Modern Jewish State’s flag as two blue lines in a field of white with the Star of David at its center. This flag of modern Israel from its beginning in 1948 to the present, declares in its design a Zionist Supremacist belief that it is God’s will that the Jews should be God’s master race that conquer a large swath of Western Asia under their supremacy.
It was to be called in Hebrew Eretz Yisrael HaShlema, “Greater Israel” no less.
Meet your recent predecessor, that tried and failed as you will do, named “Greater Germany” to claim Europe as its “promised land” for the Aryan master race!
This expansion and conquest began with taking Palestine from the Palestinians and casting them out, burning down 700 villages in 1948. Many of these Palestinian refugees crowded the Egyptian protectorate called the Gaza Strip. In 1967’s Six Day War, Jordan’s West Bank Province was conquered, as was Eastern Jerusalem. The Gaza Strip was conquered, crowded by then with millions of dispossessed Palestinians.
The Six Day War that Nostradamus foresaw below, began the era of Greater Israeli expansion up to today’s bloody path to the final solution of Palestinian subjugation through genocide. In late 2024, Israeli expansion made its next significant land grab east towards the Euphrates by aiding al-Qaeda/ISIS terrorists along with the Turks in completely collapsing Syria. Now all the Golan Heights and its reservoirs are in Israeli hands, as is the strategic Mount Hermon to aid in Israel’s future subjugation of Southern Lebanon up to the Litani River before they depopulate Lebanon completely and make it their own. All the rest of this land-grabbing could go much faster if they were to destroy the source of aid to the Palestinian Resistance, Iran.
After Palestine was seized by the Zionists, second major step towards Greater Israel expansionism was foreseen by a French Jew, born in 1503 into a family in Provence who made the hard choice to remain in that beautiful land as Jews, if they converted to Christianity so as not to be cast out.

This will be the only time Nostradamus writes the phrase “six days” in all of his prophecies. This brings to mind the holiest city of Nostradamus’ Jewish heritage, the “city of peace”—Jerusalem—but not so peaceful in the year 1967.
Line 1 and 2 of the quatrain (Six days the assault is made in front of the city, Freedom is attained in a strong and bitter battle) denote the Israeli forces’ fight to take back all of Jerusalem from the Arabs, including the Holy City. Old Jerusalem’s walls were breached by Israeli forces in the first three days, not six days. Hostilities, however, such as sporadic gun battles and the threat of a larger Jordanian counterattack remained until the cessation of hostilities on the sixth day. In the final three days the Jordanian army did gather forces for a counterattack only to have armored columns bombed and strafed into flaming wreckage on the roads heading for Jerusalem. That was the result of the Jordanian, Syrian and Egyptian air forces being destroyed on the first day by an Israeli preemptive airstrike. As the prophecy foretold, the war was short, sharp and bitterly fought between cousin brother Semites, the Jews and Arab soldiers fighting and dying over control of the holy sites.
The final two lines disclose the future consequences: Three will hand it over, and to them pardon, to the rest, fire and bloody slashing—sackcloth, mourning! Nostradamians have written since 1967 that the three are the principal adversaries of Israel during the Six Day War: Egypt, Jordan, and possibly Syria. Anwar Sadat, presiding over Egypt after the death of Nasser, would fight one more war with Israel in 1973 then do a heretofore unthinkable and courageous thing: be the first Arab leader to recognize its existence as a state. Sadat for this, won back the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt, making peace with it in 1978. However, for these achievements, Sadat was assassinated by Egyptian nationalists in 1980.
By 1994, Jordan’s King Hussein signed his peace treaty with Israel, surrendering to it what would eventually swell to a population of 5 million Palestinians back in Zionist hands.
Syria entered the 2020s a wreck of a nation, its cities in ruins from an over decade-long civil war manipulated by Israel. Both Israel and its chief protector in the region, the United States, have secretly aided those who finally overthrew the Syrian state and placed it in a perpetually weakened state of continuous though controllable chaos, until at last, Israel and the United States’ former enemies turned into surrogates.
In late 2024, these surviving forces of the Islamic State, under their chief head chopper, Abu al-Julani, formerly a top commander of al-Qaeda and later the Islamic State, exploded out of Turkish protected Irbil Province to bring the sudden and complete collapse of the Syrian State and the Bashir al-Asad government, rendering Syria now a failed state under the Israeli and American Suzerainty of al-Julani’s, resurrected “Islamic State” run by former al-Qaeda and ISIS jihadists. The US and Israel conveniently look the other way as entire and ancient Syrian Christian communities are massacred by the hundreds of thousands and counting! [UPDATE 14 February: All US forces guarding eastern Syria’s source of grain and oil fields set fire to their bases and withdrew to Jordan in preparations for a possible war with Iran, leaving the Syrian Kurds to their bloody fate!]
Israel in late 2024 under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had finally succeeded where no Zionist PM before him had in severing the supply link via Syria to Iran’s proxies living on the northern border of Israel, the Arab Lebanese Shia Muslims and militias of Hezbollah, isolating them from their chief allies, Shia Muslim Iran. [UPDATE 14 February: The chaos that Syria has descended into has made it easier for Iran to support and smuggle arms to Hezbollah again.]
Since late 2024, Zionist Israeli has hastened their land grabs to enlarge their “Greater Israel” dreams. After Syria’s collapse they have taken ALL the Goland Heights into Israel, plus strategic Mt. Hebron, which can help them eradicate the Lebanese Shia populations and Hezbollah militias in Southern Lebanon up to the Litani River, like they are doing to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West bank, so that these areas, and Lebanon too, will be cleared of Arab Semites for the requirement of today’s karmic echo to Lebensraum (Living Space) for the conquering Zionist Jews of “Greater Deutschland”—I mean, Greater Israel.
The events in the Six Day War foreseen here by Nostradamus brought the Gaza Strip (formerly under Egyptian control) “and” East Jerusalem and Jordan’s West Bank territory, under Zionist Israeli control. These areas before 7 October 2023 had swelled the Palestinian populations of the Gaza Strip to 2.3 and the West Bank to 5 million respectively.
The Gaza Strip, then over decades since 1967, became an open-air concentration camp for 2.3 million Palestinian men, women and children inmates, that eventually attacked their Zionist prison guards on 7 October 2023. The Palestinian ghetto rebellion would see the Zionist Israels eradicate it like it was an echo of other Semites, the Jews, resisting their Nazi prison guards during their Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943. After 7 October 2023, an on-going Palestinian Holocaust has ensued killing upwards of one million Palestinians through Israeli bombing and demolishing most of the Gaza Strip’s cities and villages, leaving people to die slowly in a sustained starvation campaign. This Zionist genocide of Palestinians would not be possible without mountain, of American bombs gifted, and US suppression of UN protests using its veto powers, making all Americans culpable in aiding and abetting a genocide of Semites there by Zionist Semites in a crime against humanity not seen since the Jewish Holocaust of the last World War.
It suits the Israeli foreign policy to keep its closest neighbors divided and weakened. Even sustaining American enemies such as arming jihadists to fight for al-Qaeda and what the US in its invasion and occupation of Iraq (2003-2011) birthed, a more gruesome Islamic State (ISIS) occupying much of Syria and Northeastern Iraq. The US is addicted to its Military Industrial Complex. Every US government since the last world war, Democrat or Republican, plays war-drug pusher, shooting up money highs of chaos and violence in a bipartisan perpetuation of wars and even military quagmires because a quagmire in Syria or Afghanistan or anywhere else is good for business, as long as it doesn’t flame into a wider war. Peace, however, is not a war profiteering US government’s profession.
Pardon, says Nostradamus, rewards those three combatants who seek a road map to the coming times of peace that war profiteers continue to delay and sabotage. Egypt and Jordan are powerless satraps of Zion and the United States. At this moment the US is flying in its air forces and air defenses to make airbases in Jordan its jump off points for a direct and sustained air campaign on Iran.
If you ground a proud people like the Palestinians, the Lebanese and especially the Syrians into beaten and defeated slaves, O Israel, you will never know peace. Indeed Zionist Israel hates peace, for it can only keep its seven million Jewish citizens united by making enemies of 400 million Arab Semites, and 92 million Iranians wherein this Zionist entity nation, the size of the dinky US State of New Jersey, stirs an ocean of Arab/Persian hate.
I wrote the following observations set down in my update for this quatrain’s interpretation set down in 2020, long before the Palestinian Holocaust and the collapse of Syria took place:
However, for the remaining and belligerent neighbors of Zion Nostradamus waxes apocalyptically grim. A biblical-sounding retribution waits. Chief among these being Iran, lesser so, Saudi Arabia. Nostradamus’ threat may reach out and target for fire and brimstone a more general array of enemies, such as militant Palestinian factions like Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank. Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon is a target, since their army is trained, armed and financed by the number one target, the anti-Zionist, Iran.
The last word in Century 3 Quatrain 22 is traille. It could be one of Nostradamus’ potential double entendres, hinting free choice. It is Old French for treillis: a vine trellis, or a trawling net for shrimp. The net is either poetic for sackcloth and mourning, or it stands for the fruit of the vine, the harvest of happiness and peace. That option still remains open, even as it seems Western Asia at this moment is poised for a regional destruction, for the last step of Netanyahu’s Zionist state, is to cut down the heart of Muslim resistance so that Greater Israel can expand all the way to the Euphrates River inside Iraq. Iran is the last defiant Western Asian nation left standing to prevent the spreading shadow of the Greater Israeli “Reich.”

A fascist Netanyahu in World War III, has now become a karmic echoing of a fascist Führer of World War II. One last conquest to make of Nutty-Yahoo’s last and largest enemy of the resistance to go!
Like the “Nut,” Adolf Hitler was able to make one insane attack after attack until the final prize was before him, Hitler’s “Iran” moment, invading the Soviet Union, and it became one gamble too many.
Similarly, one gamble too many is standing before Netanyahu in 2026, exactly as it tempted Adolf Hitler in June 1941 with the Soviet Union, to “kick the door in” and let the “whole rotten structure collapse.”
The Soviet Union did not collapse.
It utterly destroyed Hitler and Fascist Germany with him.
Iran will not be broken up and collapsing as Netanyahu dreams. It could bring an end to the Zionist Fascist Israel instead, rendering it a lunar landscape of ruined towns and cities, just like fascist Germany became.
Nostradamus in the following prophecy returned to his future watch of Persia during a critical moment in its future. He foresees here the fall of the Shah of Iran, and the rise of Ayatollah Khomeini and the Islamic Republic of Iran that replaced him:

It is important to note that what follows was a foundational interpretation made in 1995, expanded in 2007 and fleshed out a third time in 2013 with a few updates put in seven years ago in 2019:
In Line 1, Nostradamus starts with the ending consequences: a time when war destitution (the Iran-Iraq War for starters in 1980-88), causing hunger (decades of crushing US and global sanctions, perhaps worse sanctions to come causing famine) and rain (as in the lack of rain from climate change expanding parched Iran’s drought, etc.)
Line 2 tells us why this happens: Shah Mohammed Reza Pallavi is the monarch of Iran put back on his throne by the CIA after they overthrew a democratically elected government by the Iranian people in 1953. He in turn would be overthrown in the peoples’ backlash 27-years later. The US therefore had too great a trust in this dictator “ally” being able to sustain his suppression of his people and remain a Western Asian and pro-Israeli bulwark for the so-called democratic “free world” against the Soviet Union during Cold War One (1948-1989).
Now to Line 3, the cause of the Shah’s downfall that illuminates the future of Iran to come. It has a unique and important detail that further tags this quatrain to modern-day Iran. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who would become the father of the Iranian theocratic state was in exile in France when the Iranian revolution started in 1978. It began as a secular uprising that was soon overtaken by the Shia Muslim clerics, especially after they invited Khomeini to return from exile once the secular revolution had dethroned the Shah. He triumphantly returned to Tehran disembarking an airliner and Khomeini’s vision of an Islamic Republic of Iran that he conceived in France would become a reality on 1 April 1979.
Line 4 ends this prophecy with a riddle: what is the secret sign? Who is the one who needs to be more tolerant, sparing?
It is a classic double-entendre of a prophet that must squeeze several layers of meaning in the limited wordage of a four-line quatrain. The first layer would have the one be the Shah for being too ruthless a dictator. After the CIA restored him to power in 1953, Shah Pahlavi created the fearsome SAVAK Secret Police—trained by the CIA via Israel’s Mossad secret services—that brought to bear his intolerant power in what he considered a “benevolent” autocracy, forcing his people to modernize and westernize. This upset the Iranian Shia clerics, the Ayatollahs. (An Ayatollah is a Shia Muslim cleric of the highest rank, given to those religious experts in Islamic studies in jurisprudence, ethics and philosophy. Ayatollah means “Sign of God.”
Westernization required the Shah’s people to recognize, without question, the Jewish State of Israel and its dominion over Arab Muslims in the land Arabs and most Iranians on the street believed had been stolen from them. The Ayatollahs exploited popular displeasure and their influence grew, not so much in the cities like in the capital of Tehran but in the more conservative and Islamically devout countryside of Iran where most of the Iranian majority dwelled.
In this double-entendre, the Shah is the first layer, the second one who needed to be sparing is the United States for not “sparing” itself the hypocrisy inlaid into its strategic moves in Cold War One to keep the oil rich Middle East in its own sphere of influence and not the Soviets. America power, ever strident in preaching for more democracy was not practiced in its relationship with Iran. Again, the US had violently suppressed democracy in Iran in 1953 when the people revolted against the young Shah to win back through nationalizing their own natural resources of gas and oil that the Shah let British Petroleum own. The British complained to Washington and Washington sent the CIA into Iran, with Mossad, crushing the Iranian democracy for the first time (but not the last attempt) in the name of “democracy,” ignoring the will of the Iranian electing an Iranian Parliament and Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, sending him to a military prison of three years of solitary confinement.
The Shah returned only became more brutal; hence America is in part responsible for the consequences of second secular (democracy-aspiring) Iranian revolution overthrowing the Shah but then being itself overtaken by a theocratically fundamentalist Islamic Republic. And that Islamic Republic of the Ayatollahs has been a thorn in US hegemonic domination in the Middle East ever since 1979!
Ayatollah Khomeini’s return is the Ayatollah-Sign of where the Shah’s intolerance and the CIA empowering through SAVAK led to. Spare the rod and avoid the stone in the tree! That’s the riddle from another Quatrain 70 of Century 2. It is the second part of this prophecy. The future karmic consequences for America in the 2020s could be a war it nearly started several times in the late 2010s against the Iranian people that finally happens, setting the Middle East on fire, and potentially dragging the US, China and Russia into a collision there, causing a detonation of a weapon Nostradamus in 2Q70 called The Stone in the Tree—that might be describing a mushroom cloud (the head or the stone) rising on a column of cloud, looking like an infernal trunk/cloud stem of a nuclear detonation!
I foresee the potential scenario would be this:
Israeli will make a sudden surprise airborne attack across the Persian Gulf to bomb Iran’s nuclear installations. If the US loses a fleet in naval action with Iran, they might use nukes against Iran in retaliation. A use of nuclear weapons by Israel or the US might escalate into the ultimate sprouting of Stones in Trees across the world: a nuclear war between the US versus Russia and China, that is if Nostradamus’ metaphor in 2Q70 is trying to describe the mushroom trunk and round cloud of a mushroom cloud detonation.
Quatrain Indexing Date: Q70 = 1970, when the Shah of Iran is at the height of his power and America’s trust in him. The Shah’s trust which was nurtured by President Nixon’s administration, would be too great a trust during President Carter’s administration. Moreover, since 1979, the Iranian people have suffered exactly what line 1 warned, continued deprivation, natural disasters (for instance, in 1990, an earthquake in northern Iran killed 45,000, injured 100,000) and left nearly a half-million people homeless, and the loss of a half-million people in the Iran-Iraq War.
Next comes a vision of the US directly blundering into Western Asian battlefields, under Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2011). A military quagmire ensues that ultimately drags Sunni Muslim terrorists al-Qaeda and later ISIS into the Arab Heartland to wage holy war against the US occupiers and the Shia Muslims, requiring Shia Iran join Iraq’s two-third majority population of Shias to unite with Bashir-Assad’s Syria and Lebanon’s Shia Arab Hezbollah militias in a Holy War against the heretical Sunni Muslim al-Qaeda and ISIS forces who in 2014, had conquered much of Northwest Iraq and half of Syria as DAESH (The Islamic State, aka ISIS).
It all started with the US “Crusaders” back in March 2003 making up a fake cause to go to War with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, apparently foreseen in the following quatrain by Nostradamus:

In 1995, four years after the Persian Gulf War, I mused that this could have been Nostradamus foreseeing it:
It could be said that Operation Desert Storm was the most recent Crusade of Christian armies in the Middle East; moreover, it starred the largest cast of Christian soldiers ever to fight in Mesopotamia in the 20th or any other century. Rick Atkinson in his book Crusade: The Untold Story of the Gulf War estimates that the West sent 4,000 tanks, 150 ships, and 700,000 soldiers (the vast majority from the Christian nations). The nearby river is the Euphrates during the rapid attack by the 101st Airborne Division cutting across Highway 8 next to the river. This action effectively cut Saddam Hussein’s supply line to Kuwait during the 100-hour ground war. The final line may take us into the near future if we can define just which law holds in Iraq: Is it the brutal law of Saddam Hussein, or the sanctions of the United Nations? One could argue that the swiftness of the Allied encircling maneuver spearheaded by the 101st Airborne helped bring the conflict to an end before Saddam Hussein’s Republican Guard divisions were destroyed. After the peace, he could use these relatively intact elite units to tighten his hold on Iraq.
Operation Desert Storm, on Bush Sr.’s watch in early 1991 doesn’t fit this quatrain of future crusades in Iraq as well as it does Bush’s son, George W. Bush, Jr.’s crusade in March 2003 that he called Operation Iraqi Freedom. In the spring of 2014, I updated my interpretation appearing in the book, A New Cold War and I see no reason to update it again:
Mesopotamia is the ancient Greek name for modern Iraq defined as Meso (between) potamia (rivers: the Tigris and Euphrates). During the great crusades of medieval times, no army of knights displaying the Christian cross emblazoned on surcoats draped over chain-mailed chests, set foot on Mesopotamian deserts or advanced over river wadis. Hundreds of thousands of “Crusaders,” however, did pour over its frontiers, fighting and dying there from 2003 through 2011. No one disputes that a majority of men and women in this mostly US-led coalition identified themselves as a staunch Christian band of warrior brothers and sisters. The label “Crusaders” sticks because President Bush let fly the indelicate label when announcing his 30-year “war on terror.”
Bush defined the War on Terror as a “Great Crusade.” His speechwriters stole the phrase from General Eisenhower’s D-Day announcement speech, clueless of the offense it would stir among allies and enemies alike, across the Muslim world. The Crusaders’ war crimes and messianic misdemeanors committed on the Arabs a thousand years ago are wounds still festering fresh and unforgotten. Usama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, turned Bush’s label “Crusaders” into a spiteful invective for the Western infidel enemy.
Of the nearby river (the Euphrates) the fast company (the US armored blitzkrieg-lightning-fast invasion) ran its armor columns along its west bank before two pincers crossed several points southwest of Baghdad, seizing the capital in the deepest and fastest panzer penetration in military history. Of course, unlike Hitler’s panzer divisions, these Americans with their similarly designed helmets weren’t up against millions of Soviet soldiers with 10,000 tanks. The Iraqi Army, after joining in a few skirmishes, evaporated into the cities. Many of them followed a long-rehearsed plan to don civilian garb and start a guerrilla war.
After eight years, eight months, three weeks and four days of sustained military industrial profits collected at home, the US war market in Iraq shut down. US troops had passed back over the same Kuwaiti borders in December 2011 of their invasion in March 2003. As they had invaded by night out of Kuwait, so they stole away, under the cover of darkness. In the latter case, better to shield themselves from the rocks, stones, thrown shoes and easier-to-target IED roadside explosions hastening an ignominious departure in broad daylight down the road to Kuwait from whence they came.
Death also made a killing: 6,000 US civilian contractors, mercenaries and US soldiers. Injury also profited: 32,000 wounded—half of them seriously crippled. Stuff the graves of American and Coalition dead with Death’s bonus of 120,000 to 600,000 Iraqis killed. Leave with sickness and also deformity a lingering stipend: generations of Iraqi children suffering radiological mutations and illness from all those highly profitable depleted uranium shells and bullets fired through Iraqi homes, planting themselves in farmland, rivers, and poisoning the water table.
Nostradamus predicted the Crusaders would lose in Mesopotamia because of such a law that would hold for the enemy of those departing Crusaders. That “law” is the Islamic Sharia, the Holy Law set down by the Prophet Muhammad in the Qur’an as a code of virtuous living for all faithful believers of Allah, only this time as it is severely interpreted by the Iraqi insurgent jihadist militias, be they warring members of the Sunni or Shia sect.
After a plague of US Crusaders (2003-2011), comes a Jihad and counter Jihad against a plague of black-flagged and clad Islamo-Fascist heretics of DAESH/ISIS, the Islamic State, tyrannizing Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq) requiring Shia Iran train and fight alongside Iraqi Shia militias to wage a holy war to purge Iraq and later Syria of these most unholy ISIS Jihadists, starting in 2014 to victory in 2019!

I will quote the following observations published in the spring of 2016 in Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named: Mabus.

Who he is who will enter must be a dark and fearsome figure that may not hail from Mesopotamia, the land “between the two rivers” of the Tigris and Euphrates that is modern day Iraq. So, for those who can have their names appear out of the anagram code name Mabus (2Q62), standing for the prophet’s third and final Antichrist, a contemporary of our times, cannot be one of the top candidates, the Iraqi born Saddam Hussein, unless he is metaphorically called the “Arab Prince” of 5Q25. Saddam did invade Kuwait, in August 1990, retaken by 700,000 mostly US, British, French, Egyptian and Syrian contingents in a 100-hour land war after two months of aerial pummeling. It was Saddam who literally cast occupied Kuwait under a blackened sky made of flaming Kuwaiti oilfields dynamited by his routed army (the land dreadful black of aspect).
Two US presidents, father Bush Sr. in 1991 and son Bush Jr. in 2003, did enter Iraq after it was invaded by the United States and then occupied it for eight bloody blackened years for the citizens of Iraq.
He will also enter, an exiled citizen of Iraq returning as the self-appointed black clad and turbaned Caliph Ibrahim of the Islamic State Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (a native of Baghdad). He invaded his homeland his Daesh/ISIS forces charging out of Syria in June 2014, eventually occupying the Sunni northwestern part of Iraq. The result had much of the land of Iraq overshadowed in dreadful and black of aspect because it was occupied by the black clad and masked jihadists of ISIS under the shadow of its severe black flags of an Islamo-fascist Jihad.
A great and terrible war of “liberation” erupted. Shia Iranian-trained and armed Iraqi militias died by the tens of thousands to flush ISIS out of the Iraqi northwest. They were assisted by a liberal bombing by US Air and Naval Air Forces of Iraq’s second largest city, Mosul. It became the Arab “Stalingrad.” ISIS made its last stand in Northwestern Iraq, forcing its citizens to play human shields. They’d lock them in their multi-storied apartment developments, firing on the Iranian/Iraqi militia below, as US bombers came in, dropping their guided gravity bombs down on thousands of civilians locked inside apartment cellars by ISIS fighters which the 500-pound and 1,000-pound US bombs obliterated.
After nine months of fighting not a building was left standing of Mosul, the rubble burying at least 100,000 dead civilians, the pancaking, multi-storied cement floors becoming the broken vault doors to their tombs. The stench of rotting flesh would linger for over a year!
The American air forces destroyed Mosul to save it.
To finally destroy Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi would take more urban battlefields across eastern Syria and the leveling of the Caliphate’s capital of al-Raqqah before he succumbed in a dark dead-ended cave, his children in his arms, when he pulled the string igniting his bomb vest in a cave black in aspect before it was lit into a bright firestorm.
Why are American presidents contributing their share of rendering Mesopotamia a land dreadful, black in aspect to save it?
Ask the adulterous lady.
In the October 2013 second edition of Nostradamus: The War with Iran, I wrote the following essay about Nostradamus’ vision of her idolatry and hypocrisy made in her statuary image that gave the United States its famous totem, the Stature of Liberty:
[She] is another link to [Nostradamus’] Franco-centric view of the future. She is an icon of the hated French Revolution, of which Nostradamus wrote many prophecies and despaired. In the late nineteenth century, the Statue of Liberty, that iconic symbol of American freedom, was cast in Paris, shipped and reconstructed to gaze over New York City in the likeness of Marianne, France’s totem heroine of the French Revolution. It was a gift from France to mark America’s centennial anniversary in 1876. It was created by sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and engineered by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower.
Nostradamus did not like republicanism. Being a royalist, he mourned the thought of the French Revolution deposing kings and accurately dated the year when what he called the common, vulgar people would persecute and overthrow a future king of France, in “1792.”
The First French Republic reduced King Louis XVI to a powerless figurehead monarch in that year and executed him the following year.
What is immediately adulterous about Lady Liberty in the context of Mesopotamia-Iraq?
The statue of Marianne is described in the prophecy as a prostitute to her convictions, to the liberty and democracy she symbolizes. She goes to war in Iraq on false pretenses. Democracy imposed by American jet bomber and Abrams tank, heralded by a barrage of shocking and awesome cruise missile attacks. The subjected Iraqis had their armies disbanded and their command economy shut down. Millions rendered unemployed were later marshaled into the voting booths to choose equally unprepared candidates to rule democratically, having altogether limited and rudimentary training in democratic values.
Nostradamus: The War with Iran Islamic Prophecies of the Apocalypse (Second Edition) Chapter One The Rise of the Ayatollahs
As a reminder, in the footnotes immediately following the prophecy (above), they forewarned us of the archaic meaning of being Adulterous as being, illegal, unlicensed, or spurious. Then there is the poetic meaning, as in the Statue of Liberty symbolizing the American democracy that commits so many illegal, constitutionally unlicensed and generally spurious, adulterous acts around the world in democracy’s name.
In the second (April 2016) edition of Nostradamus and the Antichrist – Codenamed: Mabus, I returned to further adulteries so black in aspect of Lady “Liberty” in Iraq along with some other insights to be dug up from this verse:
She [the Adulterous Lady] has so far in successive invasions and an occupation choked Iraq’s harsh desert landscape with the graves of 1.5 million Iraqis since 1991. It could be argued that Lady Liberty wantonly ignores her constitutional constraints and debases the American dream of freedom when waging her aggressive wars and unilateral occupations for imperial profit. She covets Iraq’s oil, damn the natives’ death toll or what destabilizing social, economic and political outrages are left in her wake after she is satiated.
Verse 70 of Century 8 surrenders new potential insights from the future ever since ISIS exploded out of civil-war torn Syria in lightning-fast fashion. Is not he the black-clad Caliph of ISIS. now entering Iraq, wickedly beheading and slaughtering those who do not convert to its ugly twisting of Islamic holy law? Are his minions not black-cloaked hoods, waving their black flags as an unpleasant and infamous band of holy warriors, tyrannizing over Mesopotamia (Iraq)?
Is not the radicalization of Iraqis that gave birth to Islamic State, a direct consequence of the United States deposing Saddam Hussein…? [He] for all his brutality and faults had kept jihadism out of the Arab heartland until Washington destroyed his regime, hung him by a rope and let them in. Indeed, George W. Bush openly “invited” them in for a fight in his notorious “bring it on!” speech…
In 2013, a picture was taken of US Senator of Arizona John McCain with leaders of ISIS, insinuating themselves as part of the rag-tag mix of jihadist and secular Sunni Muslim forces known as the Free Syrian Army fighting the Shia and Christian coalition forces of the al-Assad regime in the Syrian Civil War. ISIS fighters had already enjoyed clandestine CIA training and logistical support as well as shipments of US arms sent via a pipeline of US proxies, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. All friends of the adulterous lady appear to be ISIS officers and men, one day glad-handing Senator McCain in 2013, then the following year, entering Mesopotamia, “already” armed and supported by Lady-Liberty Libertine as a US ally in Syria.
Returning to 8Q70 one could rework the verse so it says, ISIS will enter, wicked, unpleasant, infamous, tyrannizing over Mesopotamia [Iraq]. All friends made by the adulterous lady [Liberty]. Rendering Iraq a land dreadful black of aspect. To those of the black flags of ISIS, to the Crusaders’ black-hooded enemies, it is their law that shall hold victorious against the double-crossing cross bearers.
That is, unless history repeats for ISIS in the future what it did to al-Qaeda when it tried occupying Iraq in the past.
Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named: Mabus
Chapter Eleven: The Father and Caliph of Islamic State
Three years after I set the above down for posterity, the Islamic State was defeated by 2019. Yet it would rise again as surrogates of Israel and the United States doing their evil work in the region instead of being the evil previously stomped out. They have facilitated by the mid-2020s something Nostradamus may have foreseen 4.7 centuries ago, a fulfillment of an Islamic version of the Apocalypse that was laid out in the Prophet Muhammad’s book of the Hadith—where he shares his answers to question of Islamic believers his understanding of what Allah channeled through him, the Holy Book of the Qur’an.
In brief, in one instance, Prophet Muhammad had foreseen a Holy War of the black clad Jihadis with their black flags flowing, flooding out of Khurasan, the mountainous northeastern corner of Afghanistan (where al-Qaeda had trained an army of 80,000 men after the Soviets had been cast out of Afghanistan in 1989, by the way).
Muhammad foresaw a Great Jihad of the black clad, black-flagged warriors pouring out of Khurasan, to spread a holy war across Iran, across Iraq, Syria, Arabia, in a great host in black to take Jerusalem back from the Infidel Christian colonialist and Zionist Jews, who would be converted to Islam.
Muhammad had foreseen all the above from his distant vantage point in the Seventh Century. So here is what the French Christianized Jew, Nostradamus in the 1550s, far closer to the times visualized by Muhammad, foresaw:

This interpretation was laid out in Nostradamus Coronavirus the Pandemic Prophecies in May 2020:
According to the Qur’an, the Angel Jibril (AKA Gabriel in Christian scriptures) presented himself before the Prophet Muhammad meditating in a cave grotto of Hira on the side of Mount Jabal al-Nour (the Mountain of Light) near Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Jibril is the avenging angel of the Christian and the Islamic Apocalypse. The Islamic tradition is rich with eschatological visions to match those of the Jewish and Christian Old and New Testaments, mostly unknown to Westerners. It has its own concept of a final battle with evildoers and unbelievers. It has its “antichrist” figure, the Dajjal—the “Pretender” messiah and its final messenger of Allah, the Twelfth Imam who vanished down a well in Samara, Iraq, never to be found for centuries. Yet he will reappear from his occultation. He will lead a great holy war uprising out of Khurasan (Eastern Afghanistan). The warriors and flags cloaked in black, march across central Asia to retake al-Quds (Jerusalem) from the infidels, convert the Jews and restore the trinity of Islam’s holiest pilgrimage sights, Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem.
The black clad and black flag-waving jihadist terrorist organizations of al-Qaeda, Islamic State and other Salafist Islamic fundamentalist believe they are the instruments of the avenging Angel of Islam (the religion symbolized by the crescent moon) in this Islamic version of the End Times. Whether there’s any true prophetic efficacy to their claims or they’re just dressing themselves up as holy warriors of the final battle, it has not gone overlooked in the Islamic world. Nor are Muhammad’s prophecies overlooked, scattered in the general commentaries and reflections taken down in a book called the Hadith. It is the chief source of most Islamic doomsday/redemption prophecy purportedly uttered by Allah’s Prophet himself.
The Hadith is not a holy book such as the Qur’an. It is just Muhammad talking about the Qur’an and other matters concerning the life of Muslims. The Qur’an was directly channeled from Allah to Muhammad in the seventh century, so he claimed, after Gabriel appeared to him in his cave of meditation on Mount Jura and ordered the illiterate man to have it written. The Qur’an does not say it, Muhammad in the Hadith says that black flags and armies would emerge from Eastern Afghanistan. This is exactly where al-Qaeda as a jihadist organization was born and later gave breach birth to ISIS (Islamic State), an even more extreme group of end-time holy warriors who celebrate the violent rise and fall of their own “Islamic State” and others they expect to give rise again to as rehearsals for the global Islamic State they expect will fulfill the Muslim version of Armageddon.
Whether they are messianic pretenders in league with the Dajjal or an authentic fulfillment of Muhammad’s prophecies in the Hadith, they have surfaced in Nostradamus’ visions of things brought to an inclination, a bending, a bearing down. In verse 1Q56, the French inclinations can mean that. Poetically they can also mean the dipping of scales, where they end up. Out of balance perhaps, like the Goddess Justice, the symbol of modern democracy, with her scales.
Is not the future of democracy also in the balance in the 2020s?
Are heavens drawing near to “the balance” in a reckoning of nature’s extinction tipping point? Does not climate change come from the heavens? Ciel means the “heavens,” the firmament, essentially the sky itself, the Earth’s atmosphere. Are they not dipping, inclining out of balance towards some great climatological catastrophe?
Does not the decoding of Mabus the Third Antichrist in 2Q62 match Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s name and acronym MBS—M(a)B(u)S where the verse speaks of the world of people and animals unraveling from some climatological disaster at least implied?
Does it matter significantly that Wahhabism as an extreme—many Muslims would say heretical—Islamic sect is the state religion of Saudi Arabia?
Is it not Saudi Arabia that has spread Wahhabism throughout the Islamic community via its chain of Madrasa (Qur’an study schools) to 1.3 billion Muslim believers, infecting two generations of Muslim boys and girls with its extreme, terrorist ideology, preparing them for Jihad?
Is not Muhammad bin Salman actively saying he wants a war destroying Iran (a nation of “apostate” Shia Minority Muslims)? Is he secretly hoping the US military will do his bidding or at least be dragged into it?
The ease to which I can give this verse a contemporary interpretation is disturbing. May it go no further beyond speculation into a reality starting Nostradamus’ version of Armageddon.
The ISIS Jihad faltered and was countered. Presently, Sunni MBS has matured and now seeks détente with Shia Iran rather than war. He will not allow American forces to strike Iran from their bases in Saudi Arabia.
Islamic State though defeated in 2019 would rise again in the 2020s as surrogates of the greatest Western power, the US and its satellite outpost state of Israel, doing their evil in the region:

A horrible war is being prepared in the West.
The following year will come the pestilence,
So very horrible that young nor old, nor animal [may survive]:
Blood, fire, Mercury–Mars–Jupiter [conjoined] in France.
This is a milestone quatrain! It is trying to place into temporal frame the coming of a great and global pandemic either around the time the United States became a world power, or surfacing in the early 2020s during the final days of the decline and dramatically rapid fall of the United States as a hegemonic unipolar power sometime starting in the mid-2020s. There are two themes to consider as I gather this updated interpretation of this important verse in early January of 2025.
Theme One: A pandemic that comes one year after preparations commenced for that war—a world war I might add—prepared by the collective Western powers, perhaps led by the United States targeting the East (Russia, China, Iran, the BRICS Eurasian nations and Global South).
Theme Two: Nostradamus’ astrology clues in this verse attempt to confirm whether the danger of Western planned world war points to stars aligning for the First World War (1914-1991) and not our near future. But if it is in our future, it is a war that the West is planning to fight, primarily with Russia and later China. They are the foundation for a new, multi-polar world order—the Global Majority that from there side are open to nations of the Western Bloc being a part of it (the US, Canada, European EU and NATO nations, Australia, New Zealand and Japan) even though America has forced them into establishing a separate monetary system to the West and its “world” reserve currency of the US dollar.
The Global Majority, otherwise known as the BRICS alternative because of an acronym listing its core members (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), is not against the US dollar. It just is looking for more currency transaction choices. It is the US dollar-oriented Rules Based Order, always changing its rules for Western advantage over everyone else, that has led to a division of the West, a 17 percent minority of the global population, with the rest of the world interested in having more financial options through BRICS.
In reaction to this new Global Majority breaking away from the toxic US dollar, American Empire, fearing its rapid world hegemonic decline, is predictably doing what all empires do when in decline, wage wars to retain its world dominance by force. This choice for war ever ends with a rapid speed-up of imperial decline. That this war of the sun-setting West against the sun-rising East is the first, present-day return of the Thucydides Trap (where a declining empire goes to war with a rising new one) that could include nuclear war options this time around. That makes this needless conflict of the West against the East, and the Global South, currently raging in the Ukraine/Russian and Western Asian theaters, a potentially civilization-ending crisis.
Line 4: Blood, fire, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter in France.
An Assessment from early January 2025:
The dating of this infrequent conjunction did happen in 1913 when the West was preparing a horrible war. But this conjunction was also two-thirds fulfilled in 2021, in our times, making it a presage of the heavens for a Third, not the First, World War and a return of a greater global pandemic than the Spanish Influenza that happened not in a year after but five years after 1913, emerging in 1918. Still, as horrible as the First World War was, the wording here in 9Q55 is a rare and clear word bridge to the infamous 2Q62 Mabus/Third Antichrist prophecy wherein it hints at the world of people and animals succumbing to a war and plague that Mabus, the anagram for the name of the Third Antichrist, might see begin through his death at its beginning.
If this is about our times then Mabus, might be (M)a(B)u(S) MBS, (Muhammad bin Salman) Crown Prince and future King of Saudi Arabia. Nostradamus may have let his inbred sixteenth-century Christian Islamophobia tab him as the final Antichrist, but if his death isn’t imminent, and if he doesn’t succumb to a complete annihilation through violently dying as foreseen in the Mabus quatrain, then MBS is not the Third Antichrist, even though he matches all the steps Nostradamus clued us in to. Something none of the other candidate has come close to completing.
That therefore brings us to another contemporary candidate possibly being Abu Muhammad al-Julani, one of the founders of al-Qaeda in Mesopotamia (Iraq) and deputy commander of ISIS, who later became one of the top leaders under anti-Christ candidate, Caliph Abu Bakh al-Baghdadi, high priest of darkness that was the Islamic State he witnessed destroyed only to see its remnants rise again under al-Julani as the winner over the Assad Syrian government, closing the Syrian Civil War at the end of 2024 with the sudden implosion of the Syrian state.
Two thirds of Syria are now once again under the sandaled foot, facing the throat cutter’s knife of ISIS and al-Qaeda’s reincarnation, al-Julani’s jihadist militias of Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham, set to spread chaos across Western Asia and ultimately hasten a great unraveling of Western Asia that would see the US and Russia pulled into it if this new ISIS Jihad leads to an Israeli-Iranian exchange of missiles, some of these nuclear tipped.
Again, this future is too terrifying to imagine.
So let us face the danger bravely, stand in the streets of the world and stand for peace on earth.

The first fiery conjoining is far more dangerous than the second. And it is here in the heavens over this oncoming Western Asian War to come in March-April, under a grand conjunction of the Sun, Moon, Mecury, Mars, Saturn in its Fall and Neptune all equally fiery for war in Aries. Nostradamus wrote about an invading fleet of “the true serpent.” That would be melted and sunk in the Arabian Gulf. It was 4.7 centuries ago when it was set down. And by the way, the true serpent is also displayed on the US Navy Jack flag. It is the rattlesnake with the words underneath it, declaring: “Don’t Tread on Me!”

First one might imagine Nostradamus foresaw an Ohio Class “Trident” nuclear submarine stationed in the Persian Gulf set underwater to melt and sink the Iranian navy. But it could also apply to American ships, left at present so vulnerable to Iranian advanced missile technology. Even the “Trident” is with the Iranians. I’m feeling something major is about to happen. It feels crazy and frenetic, given the atmosphere and mood of the collective human psyche that seems to be racing pell-mell towards a greater conflagration in Western Asia. But, good news, though something is really going to explode, I’m not feeling the dread of nuclear annihilation of us all.
So there’s still a chance that this frightening war will not end the world in nuclear flames.

The A.I. program based its decision that a building was a military target by square footage! THAT’S why on the first day, many elementary, High, and University schools were struck! With intelligence assets like this, US military defeat in this war is assured.
