Nostradamus, the greatest prophet of the last 500 years not only knows who the Antichrist is but also who “they” are. It was such a dangerous secret that he hid their true names in a code.
He was protecting our future from them, for if they could see their names tied to actions foreseen, clearly exposed, there might not have been a future for us.
Finding a perfect balance between revelation and occultation can’t be more delicate and dangerous than when one presents visions of an emerging Antichrist to future readers. The theme plays prominently in Nostradamus’ writings. His take on the matter is by far the most radical of those who prophesy the Antichrist whether hailing from East or West.
He foresaw not one, but THREE antichrists.
Each would be responsible for taking humanity one step towards the world’s complete destruction. Investigators for centuries have entered the torrent of the prophet’s vaguely punctuated stream of consciousness prose or navigated the prescient shorthand in his four-line quatrains to catch or commit an evil history before it happens.
Good as well as evil people were looking for a prophetic advantage at the future’s expense. That’s why Nostradamus wove his visions together in words and sentences hard to illuminate. If Hitler was one of the three Antichrists foreseen, could a more clear prophecy from Nostradamus have helped Hitler change destiny, win a world war and plunge humanity into a greater darkness than first foreseen? Who then would be responsible for such a disaster other than the prophet himself?

Nostradamus took great pains to cloak the names of his three candidates for antichrist in coded anagrams: to protect the innocent from those in the future that might recognize themselves in his prophecies and do worse.
THE FIRST ANTICHRIST . . . PAU NAY LORON
Nostradamus code-named him “PAU, NAY, LORON.” All in uppercase. An obvious decoding would give us three towns in southwestern France: Pau, Nay and (O)loron. The rest of the prophecy strays the subject away from three villages to describe a human being. The upper-case presentation is a literary nudge in our sides to envisage a person’s name hidden in the letters spelling three towns.

The Second Antichrist: HIƒTER
“Germany Lives!” by K. Stauber (US Army Historical Collection), depicts Hitler as a Nazi Messiah. No dove of the Holy Ghost descends from Heaven but Wotan’s raven flying down from Walhall, (Ayran warrior paradise). In Norse mythology, the raven is the Teutonic god’s messenger. Hitler is the message.
Nostradamus code-named the second Antichrist “Hiƒter” — or “Hister” with a Gothic “s” — after the ancient name of the River Danube, which is the Ister. Nostradamus spells it with its most arcane variant Hister as some specific hint. Again, there’s a pattern to follow here. This “Danube” finds itself a thing representing a person mentioned as Hister in five prophecies containing similar story lines. He becomes the “Captain of Greater Germany” born in Noricum (the ancient name for Austria). He will have a “crooked cross” as his symbol: the Swastika. The people of “Irale” (an anagram for Israel) would be sent as captives into a great furnace by this “Hister.” It seems Nostradamus saw the boy who grew up on the banks of the Hister (Danube) River in Linz, Austria, dreaming of concentration camps for the Jews, Nostradamus’ kin, to be sent up in ash clouds.

THE THIRD AND FINAL ANTICHRIST… MABUS
The Candidates for Mabus.
The prophet forged visions into cryptic verse after sitting alone in a state of trance in nightly vigils locked away in his secret upstairs study in Salon Provence summoning what he called “angelic emissaries from God” to his aid. In the mid-1550s, he received from them words, sounds and twilit images warning about a third and final antichrist that has yet to fully reveal himself. This man is described in a prophecy indexed 10 Q72 (Century 10, Quatrain 72) as, The king of terror. He will enter the world stage, descending from distant future skies, In the year 1999 September month.
Nostradamus fashioned anagrams out of numbers too. If the month of “September” is a lead, then “1999” could be a reverse code for the actual year, month and DAY:
1999 = 9111
Thus the prophecy means to say:
In the year 9.11.1 September month,
The great King of Terror comes from the Sky.
Nostradamus gave the Third Antichrist the following code name. He’s Mabus. A number of notorious contemporary figures, still living or recently dead from the Middle East can see their names spelled in the Mabus code. But there also are other leaders from the West, deeply entangled in Middle Eastern turmoil, a current US president and a charismatic candidate who could be his successor whose names also easily decode out of Mabus, making the search for the right candidate the most provocative and topical challenge presented by Nostradamus for our present times.
Though his true name is occulted, the Third Antichrist’s destiny is made clear. Unlike the first two, he is the first to die in a war he initiates at the sign of a comet, or a rocket falling out of the skies:
World War III begins when Mabus dies a sudden death.

His act of terror unites a hundred nations in a war against what Nostradamus calls three Eastern kings secretly allied in opposition to the West. They would use piracy (hijacking?), ambush and subterfuge to wage war.
Know the war has begun when hollow mountains of a great New City (yet to be built in Nostradamus’ day) at latitude 45 in an unborn country he called Americh or Amorica, will be attacked by a fire in the sky. The hollow mountains crafted by man will be seized and plunged into the boiling cauldron of their own debris clouds.
After this happens, we will be living in the days
of the last Antichrist.

Well I pretty much said it all in a previous comment here, and I haven’t seen anything since then to make me conclude otherwise. I posted the link in the hope that you would have a look there and maybe we could work together on it. You’ve been at this for such a long time it seems only fair that you be my first choice for such an endeavor. I have found a few sets of quatrains, including the ones about Sun Yat-Sen also posted here, whose numbers all add up to 9 and OH MY GOD A CENTIPEDE!! #$%&@!! I HATE THOSE THINGS!! You might also find my page on the Apocalypse interesting, especially the part about the 666. I would like to point out that John was a Jew and his main concern was Israel, and likewise Nostradamus was French and his quatrains are mostly about France, not America. What I think is that the thrid antichirst is not mabus. He said Mabus will die sudden death and the third great war will begin. Mabus dies,antichrist will arrive and He will begin world war 3 it make more since for the antichrist to be alive during his own war against good.
What the Hell. Your all taking the writings of a person from 500 years ago and looking for secret messages that you decode into your own meaning. He could’nt have been talking about his own time or world events occuring while he was alive? It’s ridiculous to think he was writing about you. Every one of his “prophecies can be directly associated with events occuring during his life and before. These quatrains were just word rhymes and poems to entertain the high class society and the rich. What is always amazing about the loudest opinionated people is how they come to bark and caterwaul without reading even a smidgeon of the 19 books and thousands of articles I’ve produced in the last 25 years on Nostradamus and other prophetic traditions. Could it be that these uninformed questions you throw out here have been comprehensively answered? And who are you “What the Hell” (or, whatever you call yourself) to judge what is ridiculous or not, given your ridiculously lazy perusal of my work? What have you read about belief in projection in prophecy? What do you know about my theories on that theme, such as “Propheganda” and “Armageddonomics”? Why is it that ignorance barks and pontificates the loudest? Mediocrity has not sense of perspective.
I recently started to play with the name “MARBUS” and I can up with the word “Baums.” Perhaps its a long shot-but here it is. This time Nostradamus is not being literal with identifing the third antiChrist. The word “Baums” means tree in old German and Jewish tradition. Who said that a person cannot have a last name that means tree. After all, Satan tricked both Adam and Even to eat from the tree of forbidden knowledge. I just think that a person from a Middle Eastern background with a name that translates into Tree would fit the bill. A tree that grows from the dessearts of Arabia would be a very powerful symbol.

Hi David. thanks for the try at etymological examination of Nostradamus’ prophetic word enigmas. It requires a deeper study of the origins of words to tag a region by a Nostradamian word for a specific prophecy. First off, you have not spelled “M-a-b-u-s” correctly. There is no “R” in it. Also, “baum” is of Germanic origin only as a word from the proto-Germanic/Norse: baunō(n) < *babnō. We get the word tree "bark" from the same origins. Is there a link to the Middle East at all? Let's look at Arabic words for tree: Zitouna or Zeita, for instance are all derived from the Arabic word for "olive tree". Then there's the Arabic word "chajara". None of these phonetically come close to Mabus in any way. There are a number of words for tree in old and modern Hebrew revolving around the world Etz. Such as Etz ha-da'at (Tree of Knowledge), or Etz ha-hayyim (Tree of Life) or Etz ya'ar (Forest tree) or even Etz hadar (beautiful tree). There is no Jewish connection. That "leaves" us (excuse the pun) with the Farsi (Persian-Iranian) word for tree which is derakht (de-rakht). There is no connection to "Baum" with any of this.
MABUS is an abbreviation for the greek work METABOLEOUS, meaning those who buy and trade, a reference to the Stock Exchange. The remaining letters are ET OLE, reversed sounding ELLOTE, the festival of Athena. The stock exchange will fall, starting in Greece, causing the loss of many humans and animals. In the message is a sign of hope, where Athena defeated Posieden who produced the excess of Salt Water, where Athena produced an Olive branch. The loss of life from global exploitation of resources fueled by the stock exchange, will lead to a common global fight to restore our ecosystems and bring world piece. The third anti-christ is or will rise out of the greed of money in our current Westernized economic systems…

Very interesting interpretation. But there’s one fundamental problem: “Metablous” (the correct spelling) means: undergoing metamorphosis [syn: metabolic] [ant: ametabolic]. It is where we get the words metabolism or metabolic. It doesn’t have anything to do with buying and selling. It is about chemical transformations and digestion. Before building an interpretation of prophecy on a word, always, always, always, begun such a study on a solid foundation of right etymology.
To really understand what Nostradamus meant by antichrist is to see who are the real movers and shakers of this individuals. It is not meant that these evil individuals came to be on their own but were actually secretly funded and used as pawns by the greatest ANTICHRIST of them all which is the Vatican and the Jesuits. If Antichrist is to be labelled to an appropriate entity then there is nothing that suits better than the Vatican and its corrupted brand of Christianity. The hidden hand of the Vatican and Freemasonry have been behind the French Revolution alongwith the Napolonic wars and after these twisted organisations were highly involved in Hitler coming to power with the twisted cross as its symbol of the Nazi party. So Nostradamus knew all along who the real pawns of Satan and evil were and that is why he hid his cryptic quartrains in coded language to escape the wrath of the inquisition. So when one thinks long these lines to the hypocrisy and corruption one organization has like a lamb in sheep’s clothing advanced its power and goals while always remaining hidden from suspicion of the masses to its diabolical plans of power. So coming back to the issue of the third antichrist which Nostradamus so cleverly tied up as a pawn of the Vatican and Freemasonry to their NWO hegemony one has to ponder who will have to suit the role well. Mabus is Mars’ moon Phobus. In Latin, Phobus can be spelled Phobus or Phobos. The first two letters of Mars and the last three letters of Phobus spell Mabus. Phobos is in a very weak orbit around Mars. It wouldn’t take much for it to separate from its twin Deimos and head towards Earth. This will of course cause major upheaval on Earth as Nostradamus predicted.

A major peace treaty will end wars that resulted from the death of Mabus. Chiren will be the first person to sign that peace treaty. Nostradamus’ family was originally Jewish. His grandfather changed his name to Nostradame when he converted to Catholicism. His original name was Guy Gassonnet, and its penultimate is the second-last syllable: ‘son’.
The biography of Sun Yat-Sen of China includes an account of events that are precisely described in these quatrains. He is considered the ‘Father of the Nation’ for his role in its unification after the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty. Though born in 1866, he obtained an American birth certificate stating he was born in Hawaii on November 24, 1870, which was a Thursday. According to Chinese custom a person may choose their own day of celebration which takes precedence over their actual birthday, thus ‘they will come to venerate Thursday’.
I think the mabus quatrain is about Napoleon’s defeat at Waterloo. ‘Hundred’ could mean The Hundred Days, ‘hand’ means military power, and the comet could be Comet Olbers which was discovered in March 1815, around the time when Napoleon’s Hundred Days began. What if mabus is m’abus, or ‘my abuse’ in French? Since it is not in quotation marks it would seem not to be an anagram. I read somewhere that Napoleon had copies of the quatrains. Perhaps Nostradamus means abuse in that sense, and Century 2 Quatrain 36 may also refer to this. In any case, the mabus quatrain does not mention antichrist. I believe the three antichrists were Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and Hitler.

Does anybody else notice the similarities between Obama Biden and Osama Bin Laden? It’s really just a few letters off. The world trade center was the financial hub of New York/USA and its destruction was followed by a huge budget deficit. So these events have a connection. I still remember the picture of Obama walking next to Bush as the transition of power occurred. It seems though that all this is just theater and we are all caught in the middle.
Honestly.. You can’t kill a ghost. If we’re talking about God vs Satan then killing one man (or assuming one man is the Devil) would be like clipping Charles Manson’s toenail and hoping you cured him. In fact without the “good” guy getting others to kill in the name of God you can’t achieve what the Devil wants which is ownership of souls. This is why there is always a bad guy in the world that the good guy must defeat. It’s akin to Batman never killing the Joker, because Batman would have no job. America’s criminal justice system operates the same way which is why we have no real rehabilitation for convicts and we have a revolving door. There is interesting symbolism with Hitler’s swastika. It was a Buddhist symbol before it was a Nazi symbol and Buddhists believe in reincarnation if I’m not mistaken. The swastika is also a crooked cross which would be the opposite of the upright crucifix, so it can really be a symbol for the antichrist. I am suspect in Jesus’ inability to vanquish Satan forever and instead see the 1000 year grounding as a way to scare and control others, which makes Jesus himself a prime candidate for the antichrist.

This would explain the exact number 100. It also makes me think it is possible from reading the whole quatrain that Mabus could be Usama after all or Bouaziz, or maybe a combination of both.The “one” seeing vengeance would be Iraq if the 100 attacks are done.
From my sight it’s absolutely clear who this last Antichrist is. When I saw this U.S. president now reigning my subconcious let me spontaneously recognize this man is the devil (resp. an incarnation of this being). Never before did I have the impression I knew who a stranger was.
After that I’ve found out that in the bible it says Jesus turned to his disciples and said ‘Behold I saw Satan as lightning coming from heaven’, and in Aramaic, with heigths instead of heaven, this is approximately ‘I saw Satan as baraq bammah’, some people even said it could be ‘baraq o (or u) bammah’. Of course many people say ‘oh but it’s bara(c)k = the blessed one’. But this is ridiculous as Satan is said to be the absolute deceiver, taking an opposition to God resp. good.
In revelation of St. John the topic is the overcoming of Satan so he must have been reigning before; and in other cultures it’s nearly the same with 2012 and so on.
So this ‘Mabus’ is very easily to be decoded for me: US O-bam-a.
By the way, I’ve read David Icke with his ‘reptilian shapeshifters’ Illuminati etc. This matches completely with the fallen angels and their children in the bible and Book Enoch, also with what Zulu shaman Credo Mutwa says. Shapeshifting should in deed be possible if atoms are just stable vortices in a basic etheric substance (there are in deed 95% ‘dark matter’ in the universe).
When I really look for them I always get the confirmations now that this ‘satanic reptilian conspiracy’ is in deed true. Some days ago I found out that a red car in my (smaller) hometown I wondered at because it has got a number including ‘SN [Satan] 666 [number of the beast in the revelation]’ and additionally a devil sticker – is standing where? In front of the strange residential dwelling of the cemetary gardener!
I know now what that’s about: These ‘satanic reptilian’ Illuminati etc. feed on, let’s say, the smell of death. This is the so-called deadly orgone radiation DOR, a kind of low-frequency etheric (and other?) energy. That’s also why a number of people distribute ‘orgonite’ now to help bringing world tyranny down (also as a defence weapon). This stuff is the reason why in some places (esp. USA) these ‘reptilians’ lose their camouflage now, as it can be seen in many YouTube videos.
By the way: The satanic/occult symbol for the Antichrist (the cross of Jesus Christ upside-down) is even in the German identity card: as watermark resp. in the new card only seen under UV lamp.
The main question to me now is only how to survive the predicted war (if it really can’t be prevented any more) which is told to result in the collapse of the old ‘evil’ world… the worldwide chaos will come, this is no question to me any more.

Is Matt Crouch of TBN the anti-Christ or, perhaps, the false prophet?
Have we been looking in the wrong direction for these Satanic personalities? Recently, largely as a result of Matt Crouch’s disapproval of his methodology of preaching, Jack Van Impe was cancelled from TBN programming. They refused to air one of his programs dealing with Chrislam and a number of false teachers who are promoting it, some on TBN itself, so he voluntarily backed out of any further telecasts involving that network. Also recently, TBN just opened a new broadcast studio right in the middle of Jerusalem to cover Israel. There is a prophetic passage in the Bible that speaks about the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not, on a wing of the temple which puts a stop to some form of revived ancient Hebrew ritual of daily animal sacrifice. Could this be a reference to some type of Christian influence…pressure, if you will, along with the assistance from animal rights advocate groups to get animal slaughter banned from the prophesied future 3rd Jewish temple during the end times? After all, it is the Christian belief that animal sacrifice is no longer needed, or
even accepted anymore, since they believe Jesus Christ was the lamb led to slaughter on the crucifix by the Romans. Is it possible the “wing of the temple” from Daniel 9:27 might be referring to the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem or maybe a section of the temple complex itself, like the West Wing of the White House? There is a general consensus among contemporary theologians that the 3rd Jewish temple mount complex will share the massive foundation sitting above the western wall (wailing wall) with the Islamic controlled Dome of the Rock. Will Christianity demand a collective representation of their religion and set up an image of their own atop this lofty place? Might this be the origin of the prophesied “one world religion” Revelations speaks of, perhaps with a three-tier legislative constituency made up of Judaism, Christianity and Islam? Judischristlam, if you will? It might be relevent to mention that Matt Crouch is also a young man, which is one of the requirements of the end times false prophet. It yet remains to be seen whether he will assume operational control of that center but I have noticed in watching him that he likes to take the reigns of conversation when the camera is on him. Even his dad and founder of TBN, Paul Crouch, complained (in a submissive way) about his son’s arrogant, overbearing tendencies with guests and staff members on the air.
