On 7 July 2010, I posted the following about Barack Obama’s oncoming crisis of leadership that would result in a mid-term election referendum undermining trust in government itself in the United States. A Mandate of Anger would decapitate US credibility as a leader of the world for the next two years.

My oracle’s message was inspired by astrological prophecy. History is under the influence of a powerful aspect of the ruler of the new Age of Aquarius, Uranus. This ruler of revolution and/or chaos has worked to undermine Obama’s pretenses as a ruler of change. The following prediction posted in July of last year (see Uranus in Retrograde) was the beginning of what my oracle would later formulate at the end of 2010 as a definition of government in Washington DC in 2011. My oracle’s following message to President Obama was written over a year ago, four months before the midterm elections; yet, is reads like it was written today, as if in retrospect:

Barack Obama, if you go forward without seeing how backward your ideas of change are rapidly becoming to what really needs changing in America then your slogan, “Change we can believe in,” will soon become, “Chaos we can disbelieve in.”

Uranus rules chaos and disorder as well as change and revolution. Uranus in retrograde while Saturn is exalted in Libra (read: balanced and more conservative reality checks) means ill-conceived, advancing Fool over-the-brink liberal progress, leads to political chaos for those in power in Washington.

The American people will feel leaderless and unheard by those left or right leaning ideologues living inside the Washington, lobbyist-rich elitist loving, political bubble. A future that was almost lost is coming closer. It gathers in the momentum of national frustration and rising anger of the American people against their president, state governors and federal legislators. If the disconnection deepens it may lead to anger as a national referendum of disdain against the governing system.

Or worse…

In this alternative future, the Americans will shout something loud and destructive on 2 November with ballots flying. They may not intend it, but a vote to throw most incumbents out – the good, the bad and the ugly with the baby and the bathwater – could happen.

The angry American voter under incautious Uranus-in-retrograde chaos may fill the Gubernatorial seats of state capitals and Congress with a mob of demagogues pronouncing change as a force of political hysteria without leadership, focus or coherency. The new legislators will, to paraphrase Elrond [of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings], govern the country for the next two years in a Congress that is “scatterbrained, divided, leaderless.”

Americans might send the politically infantile and extremely eccentric to flush out the old wood. Yes, it would be a change. Chaos is change.

Americans could see an even more dysfunctional government as a result for the next 2 years – one that represents the state of the voting public: pissed off, grasping for straw votes, reaching out to swipe somebody without coherency or plan. Not conservatism or liberalism but a Uranian retrograde nasty surprise: tear-it-all-down-ism.

The oracle in forecasts for 2011, published 21 December 2010, had this to say about what actually was and is the 112^th Congress we have had to endure for a half-year and counting:

This is the future before us: the 112th Congress convenes its first session on 3 January of 2011 with houses divided: the Republicans grabbing 67 seats and a large majority in the House. The Democrats by retaining a slim 53-seat majority – including two left-leaning independents – in the Senate.

What we have coming is gridlock. President and Democrat Senators can’t advance liberal agendas without a sixty-seat majority. House Republicans won’t completely dismantle Obama’s Health Care legislation due to the fact they don’t have the Senate. They’ll put on a good demonstration because killing “Obamacare” was a major Tea Party campaign pledge. The Republican-Tea Party coalition in the House can and will hobble those progressive-socialist parts of the plan the medical insurance lobbies couldn’t get cut by withholding Health Care financing.

What happens when an angry mass of people feel like their lives are stuck in neutral by perceived symbols of power oppression. If they aren’t heard, if they aren’t able to move forward, they can riot.

Prepare for a political riot on the beltway in the chambers of Congress.

… Firebrands thrown into the halls of Congress or at the façade of the White House are not what I’m talking about for 2011. The capital of the United States won’t burn like Watts. (Not yet, at least, although I foresee such things as possible in less than a decade if Americans don’t manage a way off this future timeline.) The violence is far more subtle in 2011. It won’t be targeting brick or building but the ability to govern this country. The breakdown of the political system into polarized partisanship in 2011 of an intensity not yet known in our already polarized body politic will create the climate for real rioting in the streets of America.

The oracle then turned its augured attention on the Tea Party members of the Congress representing an American people in 2011 who will want to make two plus two equal five.

Americans want the Tea Party to reduce federal government spending by the trillions. Equally they expect somebody out there who throws pies in the sky to cook up and drop down trillions of dollars needed to rebuild the infrastructure, achieve energy independence from Middle Eastern terrorized states, wean off oil, and oh! let’s also build 25 nuclear power plants in a decade. We’ll somehow do all this huge investment heavy lifting while paying off the oncoming debt apocalypse without raising taxes. Indeed, math scores in America have fallen far below the top ten educated countries – 25th to be exact.

My oracle observes America and sends this message:

You are like children. You want it all – your cake and eat it too. You want a smaller government but more government aid and stimulus for jobs.

We get the democracy we vote for. An ungovernable people send to Washington an ungovernable government where cuts are expected without impact or consequence. Sort of like what children expect out of life. Like wanting our cake and eating it too, Americans want our deficit spending ways cut but we will not “eat” the consequences too. We want to cut spending but not raise revenues. No country in history has erased a deficit without doing both. Two plus two equals “four” not an idiot’s “high-five” with the math.

Next, my oracle returned to the key astrological events of the first half of 2011 that would see movement and potential progress in a gridlocked government.

Uranus (change) moves at last out of illusory Pisces back into (get to business, take a jump) Aries in mid-March 2011. The collective urge to blaze new trails will be in its first fresh degrees of a new sign. This is when the Republican-Tea Party rebellion will be pushing hardest their agendas in a Wattsington riot mode, yet starting in July and lasting nearly the rest of 2011, riotous political action will be stalled in the aftermath of political “capital” burned down around them.

ASSESSMENT
March was indeed the time when early on in the opening months of the congressional session, platitudes of collegial bi-partisan promises from the Left and the Right of the bench in the Senate and the House of Representatives began butting Donkeycratic and Dumbopublican heads. All of this, as the months of ire and ideological head butting dragged on refereed with extreme ideological prejudice by a “Mad Hatter” from the Tea Party or two at White House meetings with President Obama, leading at one point to the president famously getting up from his chair and leaving the room.

The US Capitol building remains standing but in July, as forecast, after the partisan rioting, the political “capital” of Republican, Tea Party and Democrat credibility for Congress and the President remains “burned down around them” all.

Yet my oracle closed the chapter on Wattsington DC still holding hope for my own desire for bi-partisan progress in the second half of 2011 — though with an ironic coda — when it added:

The American people will pressure the gridlockers to stop shooting ideology at each other and get things done for the people. Their rage spent, the second half of 2011 might enjoy legislators on both sides picking up the pieces, mending political fences, rebuilding bipartisan bridges, putting out the shop fires and replacing the broken windows, as it were, striving to forge common ground legislation.

A majority of Americans aren’t into vandalizing the government. They want it to function, move forward, though my Oracle wonders if rioters can be men and women of reason. It wonders if I am a fool to hope otherwise. How can bipartisanship occur in the second half of 2011 when the malarial campaign fever for 2012 begins its infection?

A majority of Americans want a bi-partisan solution. A special congressional commission was appointed after the debt ceiling in the 11th hour was lifted before the nation defaulted on its debt. The committee of house and senate members is charged with looking at spending cuts and revenue solutions to be presented to the government in late November. Already there is partisan pledges, coming from the Right forcing Republican and Tea Party members to swear against raising taxes before negotiations begin. No doubt Democrat appointed members would swear passive aggressively not to cut spending to entitlements. With such renewed childishness of “my way or the highway” pledges already placed, the second half of 2011 rightfully, it seems, had my oracle back at the end of last year saying I and by extension all Americans can “dream on” about mature progress in Washington.

For this dream to become a reality, it will need the American people to wake up and see that their government is a reflection of their own disconnection with political and financial realities.

Wake up, Americans. Another civil war is approaching with secession of states and far worse, a violent unraveling of American society. There is still time left in this year, and in this decade to turn the course of America’s future away from the civil Balkanization of the country that waits for us just a few years down time’s trail, potentially poised to pounce somewhere around the corner of the next decade.

Elephant herds are run by a matriarch so it behooves those full of bull elephant selves in Washington DC not to take former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin for granted. Many of her endorsed Tea Party politicos have stomped old-guard GOP candidates into her political pay dirt. Especially Tea Party female candidates she calls “Pink Elephants”, such as, Christian creationist and reformed masturbating Wiccan dabbler, Christi O’Donnell, who trunk whipped former Republican Governor and longest serving Delaware US Congressman, Mike Castle, for a run at the Democrat held US Senate seat once occupied by Vice President Joe Biden.

There’s another Palin pick, American East Indian GOP elephant, Nikki Haley, who stomped Republican Gresham Barrett for a November run for South Carolina’s governor seat against Democrat Vincent Sheheen. Californian Palinista Carly Fiorina tusked and pitched Chuck DeVore out of the way for US Senate to give Democrat US California Senator Barbara Boxer a serious challenge. Let us not forget Palinesque Nevada’s anti-Darwin, chicken bartering economist — the avenging Sharron Angle angel of Demo-death — has a real chance to unseat the Dimpy dogged Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

At the time of this writing, there’s six weeks and two days left before the midterm elections. I will be up to my own elephantine ears in forecasts attached to the seven or eight blogs planned.

It might be time to ruffle the fragile belief systems of Dumbopublicans and Donkeycrats and Tea Baggers alike by reprising a prophetic satire posted exactly one year and five months ago on 18 and 22 April 2009. I review today my naughty and nebulous ersatz biblical predictions, cast as a jiving-prescient joke-in-earnest. It has a lot more forbearing bang for its bucks and kicks delivered to the asinine Left, and rogue elephant Right, right now. It also forecast Sarah Palin ascendant. She has become a real king and queen maker and perhaps a president grizzly running in 2012.

This week [18 April 2009] Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin made her intentions clear that she aims to unseat President Obama in the Mayan Calendar end-time year of the 2012 presidential elections.

She felt it politically expedient for her future ambitions to risk a political setback in Alaska by attending Vanderburgh County Right to Life banquet in Indiana where she wowed a sell out conservative audience packed with key fundraising Pro-lifers. Her absence from Juneau may have cost her. The Alaskan legislators voted down her choice for Attorney General in a close vote that her presence on the job as governor might have carried.

I now wonder what a Palin run would do for the Republican Party. Divining an answer requires something completely different in today’s blog entry.

I’m only joking, and, as usual, I’m joking in earnest. So, I’m sure to push as many buttons as I poke funny bones with…this prophecy from a great, yet little known, Elephant-headed sage of the Grand Old Party.

The crowd settled in a hush-Rush of Limbau-awe, for that old Elephant had a long memory of all things wise and Republican that went all the way back to Abe Lincoln, who in the Civil War put their party on the political map by pretending to be the return of Barack Obama.

“I have not come to praise Sarah Palin’s political aspirations,” said Willie Horton H.A.H., “but to bury them, for the sake of our party’s future.

“Take this not as a dagger in the breast from someone ‘et tu Brutish,’ for she is an honorable, righteously evangelical, Gabriel-blowing-her-apocalyptical-horn right-winging daughter of our base Republican platform for many a moon, since Moses parted the Ralph Sea of Reeds and our Grand Old Party of fair conservative values was Lynchburg Virginia-ed by a new Moral Majority in the 1980s when the Gingrich stole Democrat Christmas in 1994 midterm elections.

“Take not our daughter from Wasilla Mooselands to Carl Rove the nether lands of Washington AC DC! For I fear she shall make such an end of the Party of Lincoln, in a bid to unseat the new Lincoln from Illinois in 2012 if we doth boost her head large and insufferably full with the AIGues of attack politics and girdle her loins with a big fat Bible Belt.

“I hear the braying prayers of Donkeycrats in the lower, nether, 48 states, that we should be so ill advised to pander to our Republican base beliefs of straight and narrow ‘e pluribus polarity Unum’ of faith based presidencies over fact based policies.

“Let us return to the virtues of actually being conservatives, defenders of individual freedoms, and fiscally responsible government that worked. Keep your faith unto God, not flash, and wave it around unto legislation. Let God judge — not us –who is going to abortion hell in a hand plastic basket bag.

“We have gone all Donkeycratic in our nation building, heart bleeding and deficit spending and have felt the sting of the voter that giveth and thus taketh away the House, Senate and that shining White House on a hill.

“These are the times to try a Dumbopublican tail. We must for a presidential cycle or two, walk through the valley in the shadow of the Left, but we shall fear no evil, unless we should stumble in tundra and tear out our hair in strident Caribou-hoos!

“Let not the Donkeycrat’s choice for Republican candidate in 2012 be riding a Palin horse of political apocalypse. May not this rider destroy a third of the Republican skies, a third of the Republican waters and a third of the Republican seats in House and Senate, because only our baser party stalwarts voted in 2012 and we got only a third of the popular vote against Obama who thus won his second term.

“The Mayan Calendar says doomsday is off 12 years. Not 2000 but in 2012 it falls, on the Winter Solstice: 21 December.

“And then in my vision I saw the fourth creature, more skinned moose than pale horse, ridden by a rider with larger Baals than mere men.

“The creature wore proudly her $10,000 dress in times of economic troubles, with Gucci mittens, and those nice Ugg boots and, eoooow! Like, even, a parka from Rodeo Drive too, gosh darn it!

“And in a wink or two coming from the Palin rider, I knew that with her rode political death for our party if Satan’s Donkeycrats should get their baying prayer fulfilled lest we forget our GOP-glories past and pick her to run for president in 2012.”

Last things first. A number of my readers this year have been asking if I wish to reverse myself on the following forecast made in Predictions for 2010, signed off on 1 November 2009: “The Israeli Netanyahu government signaled after the Hebrew New Year (Yom Kippur) that it would hold to an end-of-year deadline before considering a military option to put out the reactor fires of the Iranian nuclear program which it suspects is a front for building a nuclear arsenal to eventually match their own. President Obama himself has not taken a military option with Iran off the table…

“Will the new year bring warplanes from Israel setting fire to Iranian nuclear facilities?

“No.

“I am happy to announce some breathtaking positive news. The window for an Israeli-Iranian war has closed in 2010 and it won’t open again for the next five years.”

I am told by some of you that futurologists (those who extrapolate future events from measurable trends) believe it obvious that war between Iran and Israel is imminent. They cite Saudi Arabia granting Israel permission to use a narrow corridor of air space near its northern frontiers to send waves of jet bombers on a short and faster root to blast Iranian nuclear installations than around the Arabian Peninsula. Just last week the Egyptian government allowed two small Israeli naval vessels transit through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea. Egypt had earlier allowed an Israeli U-Boat (a German built Dolphin Class submarine) passage to and from the Persian Gulf via Suez. This U-Boat is believed to carry cruise missiles tipped with nuclear warheads. An Israeli sub off the Iranian shores of the Persian Gulf, along with surface vessels in tow with US Naval units aims to show that Israel can extend its naval reach right to Iran’s doorstep. It sends a message that at any moment Israel can launch a retaliatory nuclear strike on Iranian cities and nuclear reactors with atomic weapons Israel does not officially says it has.

Is war imminent? Has my oracle got it wrong as some of you wag in the comments sections of my blog?

Here is my answer: There will be no war between Iran and Israel before the mid-decade.

All the saber rattling, all the little flotilla posturing and certainly the air space permission of the Saudis is not something new. The Saudis regularly renew Israel’s permission to fly their warplanes over their airspace since July 2009. Secret deals by Mossad’s spy chief Meir Dagan or covert arrangements by a succession of CIA chiefs with the Saudis, Iraqis or the Turks to provide their airspace to Israeli surgical strikes on Iran have been either under discussion or secretly approved ever since the Bush administration started drawing up plans for a strike on Iran after they invaded Iraq in 2003. Though a new man sits in G.W. Bush’s seat in the Oval Office President Obama is not completely closing the door to the last administration’s Neo-Conservative strategic agenda. Plans to take Iran down have ever had bipartisan support in US Congress as far back as 1992 when Paul Wolfowitz authored and Dick Cheney edited the first essays on how American foreign policy needed to define and depose new threats from rogue regimes in a post-Soviet, post-Cold War. The idea to strike Iran was floated around in Washington long before these and other apostles of Neo-Conservatism crowded the G.W. Bush cabinet. You will find that many purveyors of Neo-Conservatism are also staunch Zionists even possessing duel citizenship. During the Bush era, Neo-Con think tanks were openly advising Washington “and” Jerusalem with their expert political and military scenarios engaging Iran.

As far back as early 2007, I published an eBook collecting many of Nostradamus’ astrological and prescient visions about a future war with Iran. (See Nostradamus Iran predictions.) I took the reader through an evolution of Neo-Con thinking from 1992 up to early 2007 detailing the intimate connection and shared intent of right wing US and right wing Zionist leaders and policy makers, attempting to forge a US foreign policy that matched the aims of Israeli foreign policy and strategic agendas. One cannot blame Israel, a small country in a hostile region, for seeking to dictate US policy. It is no different really than its chief rival, Iran, trying to influence the policy and strategic goals of Israel’s enemies surrounding her borders.

I elaborated in Nostradamus: the War with Iran that Israel has long kept at least one of its Dolphin Class submarines on station 24/7 in the Persian Gulf since 2006, after Iranian President Ahmadinejad made his notorious statement that Israel should be erased from the map of history. Moreover, though it may be news to many of you, the fact is the Saudis fear and loathe the Iranian Ayatollah regime far more than they do the right-wing Zion-supremacist regime of Netanyahu. In my eBook and blogs over the years, I have described large-scale Saudi civil defense drills regularly practiced in tandem with Israeli drills since 2005 onwards to rehearse national responses to retaliatory Iranian missile attacks after an Israeli air strike. Some of these Saudi rehearsals openly prepared fallout drills for towns and massive oil distillation facilities in the northeastern corner of the kingdom. They are thought to prepare for the eventuality that a cratered Iranian reactor dome should send plumes of radioactive clouds across the Persian Gulf from the nearby Iranian nuclear facility at Brushehr, scheduled for activation in the summer of 2010.

Let me make this clear, Israeli demonstrations of planes, vessels in Suez shipping lanes and Dolphin submarine cruise missile nukes on auto mobile launch command mode does not construe imminent war. These actions are a kind of “language”, albeit brinkman bunt, directed at Iran’s regime to contain it in a regional Iranian-Israeli Cold War. The Egyptians have a treaty with Israel for decades granting them access to the Suez Canal as long as their warships do not strike Egypt. Egypt’s Sunni Muslim population and Sunni President Mubarak is no friend of Shiite Persians constructing a nuclear arsenal. Neither are the Saudis. Granting Israel attack jets passage through their airspace sends a strong signal to the Iranian regime to forego further work on their nuclear weapons program because the Shiite Persian Muslim missiles pointed at a Jewish State will just as easily be pointed at Sunni Arab states requiring the Saudis saddle up their own nuclear weapons program to deter Iran.

Iran’s nuclear weapon aspirations mind you are more bluff than solid fact. Meir Dagan, head of Mossad since 2002, has stated clearly in early 2009 his belief that Iran will not have the means to build and deliver an atomic bomb until the middle of this decade.

President Obama is not seeking the military option just yet and will continue pressuring sanctions and tacit support of Saudi and Israeli demonstrations of strength. Unless the Netanyahu regime has lost its marbles and are aiming to take out the reactor at Bushehr before it goes online later this summer, this could not be a worse time to unilaterally strike Iran. Relations with Israel’s best regional friend, Turkey, are on the rocks because of a heavy-handed suppression of blockade-runners into Gaza this June. Israel’s alliance with the United States is not in good shape. It is time to mend bridges with Israel’s only real superpower friend in the world, not burn them further with a Bushehr military blunder.

One reads in Israeli newspapers a growing call to war against Iran and in some cases there are Zionist zealots openly writing that Israel striking Iran and thus becoming isolated from support by the rest of the world fulfills prophecies concerning the advent of the Jewish messiah, thus worldwide repudiation as a militant pariah is happily lobbied.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Lieberman might sympathize with such extreme views of Jewish eschatology but I do not think they are stupid enough to go it alone solely on anticipated divine approval or invitation of messianic advent. (See more about prophecies of a Jewish messiah). The Israelis will give Obama time because they have no other option short of going to war without US support. They will wait to see if a more sympathetic and hawkish Republican will unseat Democrat Obama in 2012. They know as I know that is a long shot. Mossad and the Netanyahu regime believe Obama will tire of diplomatic efforts sometime in his second term after years of getting nowhere. Then Israel will get the green light to strike Iran just before it becomes capable of constructing a workable warhead by mid-decade. They might not need jets by that time. I see the walls of Iranian reactors falling in a rain of Jericho III ballistic missiles.

The basis for this mid-decade time window relies on an interpretation of Nostradamus’ clearly defined astrological window for war with Iran.

In Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the time for possible air strikes has many astrological references. One of these suggests in Century 4 Quatrain 67, that:

L’an que Saturne & Mars esgaux combust,
L’air fort seiché, longue traiection:
Par feux secrets, d’ardeur grand lieu adust
Peu pluye, vent chault, guerres, incursions.

In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery,
The air is very dry, a long comet:
From hidden fires a great place burns with heat,
Little rain, hot wind, wars and raids.

The Latin combustus adds apocalyptic nuance to the old French combust. That which is equally fiery equally burns, consumes, ruins and destroys equally two aggressors — perhaps Israel and Iran in a future war. The old French traiection is from the Latin trajectio: describing a shooting star, meteor, or a comet. A missile in modern terms. Hidden fires inside Israeli nuclear warheads on Jericho III ballistic missiles or on cruise missiles launched by Dolphin Class submarines burn the far larger target, Iran (great place) with atomic heat. The Latin adustus specifically means burned or scorched by the sun from the French incursions. In other words, raids, surprise attacks or offensives. This not only implies a surprise Pear Harbor-like strike coming from Israel but also in modern terms an Iranian backed terrorist attack using either a radiological dirty or an atomic weapon on Tel Aviv warranting Israel’s full retaliatory strike of biblical proportions. (Think Amalek.)

Nostradamus loved double entendre so we cannot rule out his describing a future time indicating global climate warming so extreme in such marginally arable regions like the Middle East that war comes from regional disputes over water rights. Even the Book of Revelation (Chapter 9, verses 14-15) describes the final battle of Armageddon taking place when the Euphrates River dries up. Currently water flow in the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers falls inexorably towards critical levels through Syria and Iraq because Turkey dams their headwaters to quench the thirst of its own growing water needs. I have been warning about the threat of Armageddon when the waters dry, since 1990, see Millennium Prophecies. Such a collapse of Middle Eastern river systems or further overuse of the Jordan River by Israel and Jordan, or Palestinians and Jews exhausting the West Bank aquifers, could make climate change related wars there just a few years ahead. The 2020s will certainly see its share of resource and climate change wars when Uranus begins a long earth-and-civilization shaking transit of Taurus whilst Pluto shifts its generational upheavals by 2024 to violent and sudden revolution at the beginning of a long, 20-year transit through the sign of Aquarius.

The most important element of Nostradamus’ prophecy is the astrological dating suggested in line one: “In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery.” That means the two planets are in fire signs, preferably the same fire signs. The aspect was active during a window for war that closed when Saturn finished its transit in the fire sign of Leo in September 2007.

Three years ago I explained on page 123 of Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the next time war threatens Iran when Mars and Saturn are “equally fiery”:

“Mars will enter Leo when Saturn is in Sagittarius on far off September 2015. They will not share the same fire sign until the following year. Retrogrades of both planets make for the next rare and unusually magnified interlude of equal fire signs of war from March through May 2015 and again from August through September 2016. It is possible the scenarios of war with Iran written in this book in the spring of 2007 may better reflect a US-Iranian conflict joined in battle nearly a decade from now.”

Now to first things last…Mabus

The other stir of excitement among Nostradamus prophecy watchers last week was President Obama appointing his current Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus to head the commission looking into what went wrong causing the BP Deepwater Horizon rig fire, sinking and catastrophic oil spill. He is said to become the “Gulf Czar” responsible for the oil slick cleanup and restoration of the US Gulf of Mexico coastline, fisheries and tourist industries. Once again, this capable former governor of Mississippi and able US ambassador to Saudi Arabia rises into the limelight of public attention begging for a prophetic explanation. Ray Mabus just so happens to have a surname that is an exact match for the one Nostradamus uses to mask the name of his foreseen third and final Antichrist. The night I appeared on Coast to Coast AM last Wednesday (16 June 2010) was alive with questions about Mabus’ appointment, causing host George Noory and me to spend the bulk of the second hour of three discussing what the appointment of Secretary Mabus to Gulf Czar Mabus might foretell.

Here again is the famous Nostradamus prophecy from Century 2 Quatrain 62:

Mabus puis tost alors mourra, viendra,
De gens & bestes vne horrible defaite:
Puis tout à coup la vengeance on verra,
Cent, main, soif, faim, quand courra la comete.

Mabus very soon then will die, [then] will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

A full reading of all the possible interpretations of who Mabus is and what are multiple inclinations of interpretation of the clues describing his fate, can be found in an eBook comprising 25 years of being on the trail of the Antichrist: See Nostradamus antichrist prophecies.

I will share this with you today. Whoever Mabus is, whether his true name hides in the right decoding of the anagram Mabus or if he is an actual man named “Mabus”, what follows in the quatrain are the consequences hatching out from his death: an unraveling of the world of people and animals. Global droughts and famines, a war of a hundred nations when a comet marks his passing or a comet-like missile falls from the sky launching the third world war.

Quatrain 77 of Century 8 takes up the story adding more details about Mabus as the Third Antichrist, the link being that Mabus, like 8 Q77′s Third Antichrist are soon and early on annihilated causing apocalyptic consequences:

L’antechrist trois bien tost annichiliez,
Vingt & sept ans sang durera sa guerre:
Les heretiques morts, captifs, exilez,
Sang corps humain eau rogie gresler terre.

The Third Antichrist very soon annihilated,
Twenty-seven years his bloody war will last.
The heretics [are] dead, captives exiled,
Blood-soaked human bodies, and a reddened, icy hail covering the earth.

It is a heavy trip to unload on a man the label Antichrist who may by freak coincidence appear to be named outright by Nostradamus in a prophecy written over 4.5 centuries ago. It is not surprising therefore, that Ray Mabus first came to my attention in the mid-1990s when President Clinton picked him to be his ambassador to Saudi Arabia. No wonder many readers wrote me about the appointment. A guy named Mabus posted to the Middle East — the very region from which many believed the Third Antichrist either is born or to which he enters from the West. One then anticipates his fall through assassination as first casualty in a 27-year war, causing an unraveling or collapse of civilization and of ecological balance (a horrible undoing of people and animals).

Back in 1995, I answered those many letters with the following statement in Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies (published in 1997). “At this time I don’t sense anything malevolent about the ambassador, but this gives me the opportunity to look at yet another angle to the Mabus enigma. The ambassador may not be the Antichrist but a victim of such. Since the November 1995 car bombing of a US-run military training facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has ended its long exclusion from terrorist acts. From now on Ambassador Mabus has a dangerous assignment and I wish him well. I would not like to see him become the target of a future Gavrilo Princip and have his assassination trigger World War III.”

The best-laid names in Antichrist detective work can go nowhere. By the time the book was finally published with my observations, Ambassador Mabus had left Saudi Arabia without fanfare or prophetic significance, retiring from public service in 1996. Yet a decade later, he came back to my attention in late 2007 as Senator Barack Obama’s unpaid expert on Arab, Middle Eastern relations as well as the head of Obama’s Democratic primary campaign in Mississippi in 2008.

At that time I made the following prediction in my eBook Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named MABUS: “If Obama wins the presidency, the handsome and engaging Raymond Edwin Mabus may serve in his cabinet. Perhaps he will return as some special envoy to the Middle East and start doomsday tongues to wag about the return of the man who is Mabus to the region of the Third Antichrist.”

President Obama rewarded Ray Mabus with the cabinet level post of Secretary of the US Navy. Though not yet a special envoy in name to the Middle East, Mabus at present oversees 900,000 US Navy and Marine service personnel, a majority of which have been deployed to the Middle East. Mabus has frequently returned to that theater. Moreover, Obama has made him a special envoy for the Gulf Region’s recovery once (if) the BP oil spill gushing a volcanic flood of between 60,000 to what some now believe is 100,000 barrels of oil a day is plugged. It is doubtful to me that he can fulfill both jobs effectively at once and we may be seeing the able Secretary Mabus suffer in his work from yet another botched executive decision from a charming president who has come to his destiny too soon with hardly any tested executive skills prior to his election in 2008.

rsonally do not believe Secretary Mabus is the Antichrist. I think the name is a code hiding the real name of one Nostradamus intended. Still, as a scholar of prophecy, I must look beyond my own personal feelings and paint a larger prophetic picture. As you will find out by reading my eBook on Nostradamus’ Antichrist prophecies, they are clues to a mystery with many leads heavily pointing to someone from the Middle East as prime candidate. Moreover, I explain a possibility never before published. Nostradamus may have been confused by what he saw while entranced. Mabus and the Third Antichrist may be two different people in a destined collision. Not only does Ray Mabus have his name but Barack Obama’s surname easily code crunches out of Mabus if it is an anagram, as the book demonstrates. So also does his chief jihadist nemesis, Usama bin Laden.

Osama versus Obama, the latter of which has special envoy to the Gulf and Secretary of a heavily engaged Navy in the Middle East named Mabus. It is enough to confuse and misread the signs of any augury.

Indeed Ray Mabus, a physically fit and mentally sharp man in his early 60s may someday become a president of the United States. Anything is possible in this decade defined by Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in explosive Aries transits. I personally do not consider him an Antichrist figure, but he keeps coming back into view and now in his most significant, worldwide-scrutinized role to date. The prophecies of Nostradamus focus on key events and people that can change the course of destiny. I will and I think all Nostradamus watchers will have to regard the progress of Raymond Edwin Mabus more closely than ever before in the coming years.

Today, 7 June 2010, Jupiter will join Uranus in an exact 0 degree conjunction. This is a convergence and magnification of energies astrologers believe Jupiter and Uranus possess when united. It can fuel energy in the world for breaththrough or breakdowns. It can summon within the collective hearts of nations a call to reform or a spasm of reaction. Uranus melded with Jupiter can be the sign of advocacy for new thought against fossilized and habituated traditions. Let it be the conjoining of a new away of doing business. Let it un-slip a force of momentum put behind a new idea in opposition to the status quo. The exciting unknown spirit of change is ever pitted against familiar and limiting habit.

This conjunction for change has more than mere opposition against it. It has a square with Pluto in Capricorn rubbing it the wrong, fractious way.

Every great story needs a conflict to transcend. Squares in astrology define friction points where evolution grows. Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of systems and world order is squared the planets of expansion in change. Because this square involves three major outer planets, the consequences affect the collective human race.

When Pluto squares Uranus read that you are living in times of drastic upheaval. Those of you reaching 20 years old today are members of an “Upheaval Generation” The last time this happened was during the Great Depression of the early 1930s, an era of social and military conflict, wars, civil strife, economic collapse and revolutions. It saw the birth of the New Deal in the US, Social Security and a National Socialist (Nazi) Party dictatorship in Germany. The Red revolution of Communism as well as the Swastika revolution of Fascism rapidly spread, born out of systemic collapses of monarchies and democracies unable to govern or lead.

When Pluto also squares Jupiter magnified by union with Uranus, the Uranian call to reform can become dogmatic, reactionary to all established and traditional forms. One feels a wave-like temptation rising to tear up the old and burn everything down. A spasm, an explosion of rebellion with little reflection about consequences. You just gotta have that dumping moment in public. The rudeness of Tea Party demonstrations and outbursts, the bombast of Glen Beck on the right and the effulgent nightly catharsis of Keith Olbermann on the left is a Pluto square of Jupiter thang. Dig? Crusades to overthrow and reform dogmas past can replace them with equally dysfunctional dogmas-future.

Slow down, good revolution. Breathe. Think. See your greatest challenge to reform. It is not from without but from unconscious forces unleashed within by Pluto’s square of this new and dawning era of a fine revolutionary mess we have gotten ourselves into.

Uranus is the ruler of: “surprise!”

Around the end of May, upheaval-fomenting Uranus began its transit through the sign of sometimes impetuous and hasty Aries. US President Obama and the rest of us got the bad surprise that the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico had become twice as large as the 1989 Exxon Valdez disaster in Alaska.

Uranus, the ruler of the unexpected hand of truth slapping our sleepy faces, knocked home a real estimate about how much oil was poisoning the Gulf. US Geological Survey Director Marcia McNutt announced a daily flood of 12,000 to 19,000 barrels, not BP’s 5,000 barrel-a-day crude wet dream since fireboats flooded and mistakenly sank the burning rig, rupturing the line back in April. McNutt’s estimates are conservative. Thus we learned in late May, around the first day of the Uranus-in-Aries transit, that Deepwater Horizon transcended the last great Gulf oil spill, the Ixtoc I gusher of 1979, achieving the unenviable distinction of becoming the greatest spill in US history.

On the very day Uranus entered Aries the top kill procedure to pump tens of thousands of gallons of mud to smother the oil geyser failed. BP since then tried a LMRP (Lower Marine Riser Procedure) to capture as much of the gusher up a funnel as it can. We saw giant sea saws off the seashores of Louisiana and about a mile under water on undersea cameras. Robots then extracted the busted saws and with scissors reached into the boiling brown goo gloom plume to destroy a pipe to save it.

The scissors eventually cut through a pipe leaving a much larger, wide-open flood of oil in a jet 22 inches wide. When you looked at that doom laden iconic live feed of a exposed pipe, you were seeing a ragged round opening just two inches smaller in width than a standard US oil drum. The jet plume is pushing up 500 to 791 barrels-an-hour out that 22-inch clear-cut pipe. The world was watching a near-oil barrel width jet of crude flying out of that pipe at 8 to 13 barrels of oil per minute! That is the conservative estimate give or take a few dozen barrels if one calculates the flow of 12,000 to 19,000 barrels every 24 hours.

If I am wrong in my calculations, Great Greek God Uranus of screw-ups correct me. Enlighten me though with a caveat. At the time of this writing the conclusions of the final group of three investigations into just how much oil is escaping the sea bed is still out. The unofficial scuttlebutt hints that the barrel-per-day flood is far higher than 19,000 barrels and could be as much as 25,000 to even 70,000 barrels a day. If true that nasty Uranian surprise has had us glued to the tube for 49 days watching a goo geyser hurling 1,041 to 2,916 barrels an hour; 23 to nearly 50 barrels a minute!

At the time of this writing, it is unknown how much oil will continue leaking into waters after the LMRP experiment. The pressure vents atop the funnel are slowly being closed. Initial BP bulletins yesterday declared a capture of a piddling 5,000 barrels a day. Today we are told that half of a now estimated 20,000 barrels a day are captured, prompting a BP publicist promise that up to 90 percent will be retrieved each day, soon.

This is the seventh week of the spill. Can we hope that the surge will become a relative trickle of only 2,000 barrels a day until the well is capped in 90 days or less? Will a “trickle” of 180,000 barrels in three months actually be 630,000 barrels times 90 days at 7,000 a day? My sense it BP may not be able to close the valves completely otherwise the force of the oil jet may blow the hood off the exposed pipe. It will be later understood that the LMRP procedure exposed the gulf to more oil poisoning it waters, not less.

BP, make my prediction wrong. Please.

Uranus rules encounters with the unique and unknown. Uranus takes us to a place we have never been before. The clouds of hurricane season are looming over the horizon. To what extent the vast semi-submerged oil clouds underwater can be cast ashore in storm surges is unknown. To what extent torrential tropical storm downpours will fall tainted with hydrocarbons is unknown. Will they come down in reddened rains as some macabre fulfillment of Nostradamus’ prophecies of blood-soaked red rains in his prophecy of the Third Antichrist in Century 8 Quatrain 77? (See Third Antichrist for the full prophecy and all of its possible interpretations.)

Two BP slant drill operations are underway to cap the well a few thousand feet below the ocean surface but that might take three more months if nary a single hurricane does not upset the best laid schemes of nice and untested men like that whining Pommie BP CEO wanting his life back when 11 of his employees lost theirs. Untested presidents too, can see their best laid bucks stopping here at the threshold of a Uranian crisis into the unknown.

President Obama in March 2010 announced deep drilling was safe and expansion of drilling off the Atlantic coast and into the polar seas above Alaska was a necessary stopgap in his long-term plan to make the United States green energy independent. Then came the Uranus-Pluto Square. Under its influence, President Obama made a sudden about-face on future drilling. He put a six-month freeze on exploration of the remote waters of the Arctic and pushed the off button on 33 deepwater wells pumping in the Gulf of Mexico. Leases for new rigs off the coast of Virginia and the western Gulf? Surprise! Cancelled…

It is a highly risky political move. Uranus seeks to uncover the truth behind a culture of government watchdogs too cozy with the big oil industry, not doing their job catching safety abuses. Uranus conjoined with Jupiter going forwards and backwards in the skies through September, will further expand shocking revelations of government-business corruption, and lay bare brazen claims of deep well backup systems for disaster that are fantasies, not fact. Pluto in square of this Uranian effort will expose the hypocrisy of the watchdogs as well. Thus the credibility of both sides of this reformist coin will be made of fool’s gold.

President Obama will have a difficult time separating himself from his own government’s mediocrity and culpability to mismanage Big Oil’s systemic failure to successfully follow their deep drill safely. The square hamstrings him further because he is, as I have warned for a few years now, a man come to his destiny too soon. He has not the executive experience and skills to judge what expert opinions are right. Once again he has made a mistake, buying into a 6-month timeline, not looking at other options that may take each rig under safety inspections one at a time rather than taken collectively. He is a bureaucrat taking the blanket bureaucratic approach: keep all deep drills down until all have been inspected. This leader needs to put on a hard shoe of office and kick more butts — a hard challenge for a Leo born man who had to become a man on his own without proper parental guidance from his missing father. This hen pecked and cerebral Leo needs to be loved. Kicking butt and sometimes putting the fear of God into underlings is an executive skill Obama has not yet learned.

Did Franklin Roosevelt take six months to study what went wrong when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor before he went to war?

This gulf spill is an ecological Pearl Harbor, Mr. President! Up-tempo your basketball game, blood.

Start pushing your people out of peacetime complacency. Drive them into emergency speed mode to get the review of deep drilling safety finished in SIX WEEKS rather than six months. If you do not, you could have sudden and unforeseen consequences waiting to ambush your future, Mr. President.

Stop and consider Uranus malevolently aspected is a harbinger of nasty surprises. Not only will the Gulf States take a severe economic hit in its tourist and fishery industries but also Obama’s moratorium of deep drilling will send economic shockwaves through its other chief employer, the oil industry, taken off-line for six months. That is “well” into and beyond the mid-term election season, Mr. President.

Monthly national unemployment reports for the summer will reach new highs as you and your party’s popularity polls reach new lows. Can you retain control of the House and Senate in this picture? Can you pursue your agenda of change without them? Great leadership is tested by Uranus squares of Pluto to moderate the risks with rushes to fix things. Uranus demands we think in new ways. Rather than blanket check the deepwater rigs, create an inspection regimen that can check one to five wells at a time. If they are safe, charge them up. Put their crews back to work. Lower you economic shock and save your party’s midterm election.

Obama is getting his hard education at our future’s expense, but that is how we semi-consciously pick our leaders. It is unfair of voters who scarcely understand their own constitutional rights to expect a political organizer — and an ivory towering professor of constitutional law to boot — will suddenly become a savvy executive decider overnight. The President of the United States cannot be a president of BP, knowing how to fix the company just because impatient Uranus-Jupiter conjunctions make leaders, flushed with urgency, grab at the horns of a Plutonic four-astrologically-squared disaster and pull the plug on all deep drilling for half a year.

The coming months of this square will further reveal that this president has come to his destiny early without the prerequisite maturity and experience to be the next Abraham Lincoln he secretly believes himself to be.

He actually could be, if he survives his first term.

Obama is learning to be a president. After squandering his first year, he is becoming more engaged in his second. It is possible that he will see his mistake making a six-month moratorium and allow deepwater rigs to rapidly pass inspection.

It would be a prudent thing to do before the next astrological chip chafes this great square of planets later in July, when Saturn enters the cardinal (leadership) sign of Libra the Balancer and once again pulls at Uranus in direct opposition while Pluto squares them both.

I said last year in Predictions for 2010 that the next global economic crisis looming in the latter half of 2010 will be triggered by the oil industry. We would return to a barrel of oil soaring beyond the $100.00 range.

I did not at the time understand how oil could be the culprit. So many other systemic ailments could pull the Uranian rug out from under a fragile economic recovery. A pathway becomes clearer now with each rash decision and each belching cloud of oil out a pipe. The path to oil surging into the triple digits per barrel approaches into view later in the autumn potentially paved through the hot summer on a path of economically undermining BP, sending shockwaves through other oil conglomerates when Gulf of Mexico deep water rigs stand idle. When oil flow stops, fuel prices will rise. Add to that cost the burden of a new wave of regional unemployment and see the US economic recovery slammed from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of Alaska.

Lincoln was also inexperienced. In year two of his presidency, most believed he would go down in history as a failure; yet, Lincoln survived many mistaken decisions and a string of military disasters, such as the Battles of the First and Second Bull Run in his first term whilst waging a Civil War against the Confederate States. I have foreseen Obama’s disasters will be more in the social and economic arena rather than military (except for Vietnamistan). He too may recover and learn.

Does Obama have that inner Lincoln to guide him through his economic disasters?

Only Saturn knows.

I like to parse out my astrologically bad news one blow at a time. The bad news for those who wish to hold onto the moribund past at all costs is good fortune for others of you who take these times as a challenge from existence to redefine and recreate yourself and then join others of like courage and celebration to recreate a better human civilization in harmony with nature. That is Uranus’ positive creed and gauntlet.

Uranus (either ruler of revolutionary change, or chaos and upheaval) is dipping into the sign of Aries (new beginnings and actions either innovative or hasty, launching either new enterprise or war). The transit will move in retrograde-reverse and leave Aries in mid-August this year, returning in 2011. I suspect we will be grateful for a breather to pause, prepare ourselves and reflect on what must be transformed inside and outside of us. Uranus’ passage through Aries will resume in March 2011 and keep goading and pushing us headlong through revolutionary times until May 2018. Then it gives us a five-month break before delivering one more kick in the pants forward beginning in the month marking the centennial anniversary of the end of the First World War — November 2018. Uranus finally exits Aries for good in March of 2019.

Starting 7 June 2010, Jupiter joins Uranus in exact conjunction, 0 degrees Aries. Conjunctions magnify the two planets’ potentials, especially when initially entering a new sign. You thus have the Change/Chaos giver joining forces with Jupiter, the expander of higher mindedness. Vast yet subtle forces are at play. By coincidence, this conjunction happens after the planet Jupiter has undergone a great change. These days we might rename the gas giant, “spot”. The southern brownish cloud band has faded to white, making the red spot of Jupiter, a storm the diameter of Earth, a lonely hurricane floating in a sea of white cloud roiling across Jupiter’s southern hemisphere. The last time this happened was in the early 1990s and when Pioneer 10 made a flyby of Jupiter in 1973.

Many of you can feel the Jupiter-Uranus effect coming on. Do you feel the past has somehow betrayed the future? Something’s got to give — got to breakthrough the dogmatic platitudes of priests, politicians, pundits, parents and smiley presidents? Do you feel like a butterfly desperate to expand, grow, fly free beyond the carapace conditioning within which the past-oriented society has imprisoned you? Do you want to become a force of change rather than talk about it? Do you see a world going unhinged if people don’t stop talking and start doing change, now?

If you do feel this pull to reform the self and the world, you may also feel frustration and get downright angry at another force that seems to inhibit breakthroughs and reform. Pluto is in Capricorn and it defines an era not seen in roughly 289 years when last the planet ruling collective transformation or degeneration of the human race transited the sign of business, executive power, utility and the creation of new kinds of political and religious order. An age of secular enlightenment leading to the American Revolution was born in the last Pluto-Capricorn transit.

New world religions are also born during such times. Two thousand years ago, Yeshua preached his sermons at the end of Pluto’s transit of Sagittarius. It was left to the apostles and St. Paul to get on with Capricorn business, fashioning an organized world religion out of what Yeshua had to share. They even changed his Hebrew name to better market the product in the Gentile world as that Greco-Roman brand, Jesus Christos.

As the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus remains exact through June and into July the 90-degree friction they have with Pluto in Capricorn will bring on an irresistible force of change clashing with an immovable force of establishment power. It must be remembered that these rare Pluto-in-Capricorn transits see the status quo test their strength to suppress a rising collective desire for reform. They do this either openly, as King George III of the British Empire ventured against his American subjects in the Thirteen Colonies; or, establishment powers do so as passive aggressives by simply disconnecting with their people, whilst going on habitually promising change but abusing power in the same old way, feeling your pain one moment and forgetting you the next.

You see this happening now in Iraq. The people voted for a new parliament three months ago. Parliament appointees argue and debate what kind of government to form in the comfort and security of Baghdad’s Green Zone. They have running water. Their electricity is on 24/7. They do not go hungry, but on the streets of Baghdad and the rest of Iraq, all government systems are in limbo until the elected government governs. People feel that they are not heard and wonder why they voted after all. The car bombs and despair is coming back. Uranus squared Pluto is ripe for domestic and international acts of terrorism not seen since 9/11. The kind of frustration that happens in Iraq can happen in America this summer.

If you read the comments of my European readers at the PIIGGS blog page, you will hear a common grievance that the EU government is acting like a new aristocracy passing rules and regulations beyond what people say they want or need. There is a feeling of powerlessness in the face of this growing state of disconnect. If European aristocracies of the past are a cautionary tale, stray a little further and popular revolution follows. I do not see revolution yet, but Europe will have a hotter than normal summer of strikes and riots this summer.

Just when this Jupiter-Uranus square with Pluto began, President Obama walked an empty beach in Louisiana, devoid of holiday sunbathers, the ocean horizon empty of crab and shrimp boats. He wore immaculately clean dress slacks, polished shoes and a white shirt. Tie-less, surrounded by bureaucrats and brass (no unemployed fishermen or folk employed by tourism industry in sight) he beach combed for signs of the oil disaster. There was an iconic moment that I predict will haunt the president in the future. He turned his back to the sea where a slick larger than the state of Pennsylvania keeps spreading unabated to stoop down taking a gander at a recently swept beach to press a finger against a small dime-sized bit of tar that his bureaucrat and military brass handlers brought to his attention.

Hmmm. There it is! The oil slick, Mr. President.

The forces of Uranus declare: You were not out in the wetlands where you might really smell it, get your nice white shirt dirty with rotting blood-colored goo, or see your nattily attired shoulder stained with a tear or two from people that you might hold and comfort. They may lose their livelihoods and culture. You won’t. Uranus conjoined with Jupiter demands this June and July that cerebral “President Spock” be a little less Vulcan and more like the decisive Captain James T. Kirk. Change your Star Trek personal metaphor this summer, Mr. President. Stop being the “President Spoke” and become the President “do”.

During the summer of this square, governments become even more disconnected with their people and more full of talk about being otherwise disengaged. The people will become outright angry about it. When Uranus squares Pluto a climate of upheaval spreads across all walks of life. Outbursts will be seismic and sudden. Governments and leaders in an instant can fall from political earthquakes. Popes can fall to religious temblors of protest. A financial European Union may shrink or collapse from national mutinies.

In Predictions for 2010, I foresaw in detail how oil prices would be the source of the next economic global crisis approaching in October. I add here that an oil industry can plunge into economic crisis either from the growing natural disaster of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill or from a more active hurricane season than expected sending oil-festered tidal surges over the coasts of Louisiana and Eastern Texas. Most US oil refineries are in its path.

What existence is first trying to teach us this summer with a Jupiter/Uranus square of Pluto is to confront reality. Our spiritual, social, economic and ecological systems are heading for systemic failure. Time to sound the alarm, to bring together genius, to “under-stand” and see what is the source to all of our problems so they can be transcended.

The word systemic is defined in the American Heritage Dictionary as: 1. Of or pertaining to a system or systems. 2. Of, pertaining to, or affecting the entire body. The word system comes from the Greek susteema, a composite whole, from sunistanai, to bring together, combine: sun-, together + histanai, to cause to stand.

The Uranus square Pluto will shake us hard and long. Wake up and smell the real Aquarian Age, not this airy-fairy, twenty-twelvie kindergarten claptrap fomented for a quarter century by Pollyanna pundits of the New Age. There are problems that crystals and positive thinking alone cannot alter. They need a new consciousness and intelligence coming from a space of enlightenment even the New Age messengers have never plumbed.

The fabric of our consciousness to bring change is sabotaged by a hidden darkness. A blind spot is placed on our IN-sight. Dysfunctional education dulls us from birth onwards making us unaware of this invisible trap of mind.

Most prophecy watchers seek to find Nostradamus’ third and final Antichrist in his version of the apocalypse. What if he is not really a personification of any world leader or anyone else other than an imposed state of mind imprinted in each of us caught unawares every moment by this hidden blindness to the dark? We are jacked into this Matrix of ego-mind that is Antichrist. Uranus in Aries for the better part of this decade plays Morpheus inviting Neo behind the mask of “Mr. Anderson” to be free of this Matrix. Uranus can show us just how far down the rabbit whole of human id goes the invisible shadow of the Antichrist Unconscious. We can then “unjack” ourselves once we know its nature.

The choice is yours. You can take the blue pill and keep living in a dream world of the Antichrist Unconscious, pretending it is anything but a dream, or…

Take the red pill of meditation. I found my Morpheus. I have taken it. It is in my hand and only an email away from being in yours.

Revolution rather than react-illusion is the way of Uranus. The god of change can be a holy chaos if we do not listen, or he can be a radical catalyst in ways we can scarcely imagine.

There is nothing more radical than remaking a world where Christ conscious Buddhas see they are Buddhas, pretending not to be and stop the pretense with blissful understanding.

A new humanity will create a new civilization that will mark the summer of 2010 as one of the earliest violent contractions towards its birth. They will live something radical that we have never dreamed but only lip sync with empty words and idle minds: Living in balance and in harmony fulfilled is the only true revolution.

Meditation opens the doorway to that future for nobody else but you.

PS–In part two we will look at the next great Uranus square of 2010. It happens at the end of July. Saturn (status quo and reality checks) renews its opposition with Uranus (change and chaos) in a grand cross square with Pluto (collective transformation) in Capricorn (the establishment). It will rock your world.

I made that observation nearly a year ago in my 9 March 2007 bulletin documenting my augured observations about the rising American political rock star, the Senator from Illinois, Barack Hussein Obama. (See Obama Nation.)

I said that he was the happy recipient of political momentum coming from America’s karmic echo of old national lessons returning for a new learn. A good reader of the future catches the eternal reoccurrence of the past repeated in the future. Collective national challenges regularly return for a new turn of trial and error roughly every two generations. With this in mind, I began recognizing as early as the summer of 2006 that Senator Obama was destined to give voice to the resurgent echo of Camelot. He would resound the heady call of “can-do” days when a young and charismatic presidential candidate in 1960, named John Fitzgerald Kennedy, inspired and awakened the enthusiasm and hope of the first post-World War Two generation to make their initial impact on the political fortunes of the future.

The torch was passed into Kennedy’s hand.

Three years later, the fire was snuffed out by a national tragedy. Forty-four years later, and nearly a year after I foresaw Obama as the new “Black Kennedy,” the sole surviving member of the First Family of 1960, Caroline Kennedy, used the New York Times to endorse Obama as the man worthy of carrying on her father’s legacy. She passed the torch to a new young Kennedy, preaching for a change in leadership. She noted his lack of seasoning and experience was similar to that of her father and like what was felt in the past, experience to be president was not enough. Americans then as now needed to be inspired to find a new path, a new frontier.

When the heart flies, so far removed seem the lowlands of reason. And as it is with Karmic echoes, the lesson this time may seek a solution in reverse. What worked two generations before does not always work a second time. The most fundamental karmic lesson is that so much of history repeats itself guided by impulse and habit, rather than intelligence.

On 9 March 2007 I said:

Habit is history. It is the stuff of repetition, of people caught unawares by their own unawareness of habit programmed into each new generation to repeat the pathetic past and call it the brave new future. It was high habitual time that the American people seek and have their television tribunes tell then whom to groom for the next political honeymoon. Here he is…

History echoes, but it also likes to shuffle the sequence from old to new times. Perhaps Hillary Clinton, the echo of a Nixonian democratic presidency, is a destiny that may have to defer first to a new Camelot before it has its day. Now as Obama is in the lead and his hurrying to grasp the mantle of the new Kennedy is at hand, Today, I am reminded again with more urgency and concern about my prediction recorded back on 9 March 2007:

It is too soon for Barack Obama to guide Americans through that historic choice of destinies. He is not yet the echo of the seasoned charismatic who became president in 1960. Obama is more like the charismatic yet unseasoned hopeful who in the Democratic Convention of 1956 made a bid to be Adlai Stevenson’s running mate… Senator Kennedy sounded the charismatic karmic eco that roughly four decades later resounded in first term Senator Barack Obama’s coming out speech during the Democratic convention of 2004. In both cases they were men to watch, men who could and perhaps would be great presidents later on. Both the white and black “Kennedys” inspired the nation with their power of magnetism, their fresh voice, and youthful vitality…

Obama faces the fateful echo in destiny today that a young and inexperienced Kennedy did in 1956. He must choose wisely, as Kennedy had in 1956, to shine then retreat at the right time, and then be patient.

Barack Obama is a restless and impatient man. His time is coming but it is not now in 2008. If he forces destiny’s hand, tragedy, not a new Camelot, will follow.
