Since end of November, all my mental, emotional and psychic resources are trained upon one goal, the completion of Predictions for 2012. This will be the largest annual almanac I have yet written. It could be as much as 65,000 words when it is finally completed, hopefully soon. The deadline for donators getting their special edition, electronically autographed, advanced copy will possibly be pushed forward towards the winter solstice. When I read his 2011 predictions I felt like he was putting in words everything I felt intuitively about our world.

After reading Predictions for 2011, I had a thousand questions I wanted to ask him.

We received the following note from John Hogue: “Most of my answers to your questions are dated from no later than 8 March of 2011. I have inserted updates in red, composed nearly five months afterwards, on 6 August 2011.”

Here we go:

John, we might be thousands of miles apart but we are all the same rock and what happens in one part of this planet is going to affect us all. Has the natural balance been lost? Will the Earth deliver a wake-up call to humanity this year?

Conditioning plays a subtle and mostly unnoticed influence on how we interpret or anticipate the future. We are programmed to expect the future to apocalyptically explode upon us like a Roland Emmerish movie. We look for Hollywood effects of his movie 2012 sliding California into the ocean. We look for climate change to superstorm in overnight like in his Day after Tomorrow. The fact we overlook for decades now is that the balance of nature is already lost and we are already listing from a tipping point in climate change that is too gradual for our Holly-wooden headed mindsets to pick up.

We seek apocalyptic times grilled up hot and fast with an order of globally warmed fries — fast food style in less than a American-impatient minute. Nevertheless, global warming and climate change is coming at us a little slower, like an afternoon-long seven course French lunch that is equally going to be French-fried.

History is quickening but not yet at a pace of wake-up calls most people want to recognize.

In my almanac of prophecies  (see 2011 predictions), I said this would be the year when the mainstream starts hearing the first clangs of alarm bells of the unsustainable. I pinpointed two wake-up calls: food sustainability and a redoubling of violent weather, seismic events and other natural disasters that are made unnaturally destructive by humanity’s wholesale abuse of the planet and its climate. Another bell ringing alarm though less noticed by people is the birth of the 7 billionth child set for 2011. Also it would seem that my oft documented warning of a second global economic crisis in the first half of 2011 is on track for fulfillment, and the source will be a rise in oil prices beyond $100 a barrel that continue to climb.

It is important to note here that though Arab revolutions play a powerful factor in the oil price rise, the real cause is something far more systemic to our habit of growing demands that cannot be sustained by how we have worked things in the past. Oil and food prices are going up because emergent middle classes around the world are demanding food and energy the global supersystems of oil, energy production and agriculture cannot sustain.

So, more shocks, more wake up calls are coming and will redouble this year of 2011, and again in 2012, and 2013, 2014, and so on until we reach the decade wherein waits the greatest threat to civilization, the decade I have been writing about for over 20 years and counting that I call “The Roaring 2020s.”

If the wake-up calls are not being heeded now, they will be in 2020, at a time when it will be far more difficult to turn destiny around without much of the world plunging into a new wave of Fascism.

Today’s conditioned reflex to anticipate fast food, Roland Emmerich-like, Teutonically Wagnerian, Hollywood style wake up calls will lead to emergency rule in the 2020s that looks a whole lot like Germanic Fascism of the 1930s and 1940s.

I do not want that future. That is why I am scaring the be-jeesus out of readers now. Pull your head off the big mac, boys and girls. The tipping point is lurching since 1998. Wake up now, while you can still enjoy the freedom to wake up at all.

The great Jewish Philosopher Rambam said in effect that Everything is foretold, but we still have free will. How do wrap our heads around this concept? Is it all predestined as written in the Book of Revelation or the writings of Nostradamus?

Let me first answer with a metaphor upon which we all can meditate:

There are many destinies for sale in the wholesale store of Time.

All the potential futures are lining the shelves of Cosmic “Costco”. Coming through the sliding doors from the present is a purchaser of a future. An individual “buys” a future by his or her actions. He or she possess it, identifies with it, thus it changes a person’s life. We become what destiny we consume. The potential future procured either gives the customer positive or negative future stimuli.

A million Cosmic Costco purchasers collectively buying and moving “units” of destiny is a mass of actions causing future reactions and by consequence, creating trends. These trends are our future history.

Thanks to Scarletwhore, I can introduce you to the noted Jewish mystic, Rabbi Rambam (thank you, mam).

Rambam is on the right track. Though, from my experiences of glimpsing this state of awareness, I would propose that all things are happening at once, forever. How we track them says more about the level of our awareness and the limits of the particular corner of the “multi-verse” in which we live embodied or dis-embodied.

Everything has happened. Everything will happen. Everything is happening. All at once in a million years that pass with the snap of one’s fingers. Not all the “products” of potential futures are taken down from the shelves of Akashic Costco, as it were. So, not all the futures for sale happen, even though they exist. That is why sometimes the sensitive among us can see an alternative future we have not yet or never will “purchase.”

Nostradamus has a different way of saying the same thing Rambam may be implying. What I gather about Nostradamus’ take is his tortured and dyslexic attempt to describe what a prophet can sometimes tap into by the grace of the divine: a continuum of events that are on the periphery of witnessing consciousness. The prophet momentarily glimpses this and if he or she is a skillful and unattached medium, he or she can describe for us the potential inclinations of our future trends days, weeks or hundreds of years hence.

The future is not “this” divine witnessing. Nor is the past. Yet, the present is the doorway through which a remembrance of and union with this witness can be understood.

You use this term ‘Super System’. You say ‘All of these supersystems are super-overstressed.’ Are we at the breaking point of these super-systems? And what are the signs when they begin to collapse?

In the year 2011, we begin hearing the ringing alarms of large artificial and natural systems that sustain a global civilization and an ecological balance of nature. For instance, the natural world has the supersystem of ocean currents, jet streams, monsoons, the supersystem of rainforests that refresh the atmosphere and so on. These sustain the climate and weather balance of nature. Starting in 1998 and accelerated further since 2008, the natural climacteric supersystems have begun to go awry in a way that at last has become noticeable even to the mainstream mass semi-conscious minded humanity. They may be generally still in denial to the cause of climate disruption but as we experienced wilder weather every year, especially a quickening of such last year in 2010, most people on earth will agree there is global weirding of the weather even if a majority do not believe in global warming as the cause.

The year 2011 will be remembered as the time humanity’s artificial supersystems began showing the first signs of their potential collapse later on in the 2020s.

I described artificial, human manufactured supersystems in Predictions for 2011 in the following way: “Supersystems are those interconnected mechanisms of a modern global civilization keeping it functioning, such as the global transport system, the worldwide web feeding us information, keeping us connected. The agricultural system sustains nourishment for our exploding population. We have supersystems entrusted with budgetary responsibility to run public services. We have a banking supersystem that invests. The world currently is powered by a fossil fuel supersystem that fuels ALL economies.”

In my forecasts for 2011 written in October through early December of last year, I forecast the first alarm bell of an approaching failure of supersystems would begin ringing this year, such as in the supersystem of food production. This is now happening as foreseen because the natural supersystem of the climate is coming unhinged and redoubling the weather and earthquake violence of 2010 in 2011.

Russian grain exports halted because of droughts and fires in 2010, grain belts of Australia submerged in catastrophic floods from a more potent monsoon laced with enhanced cyclonic storms (hurricanes). China’s wheat exports are way down because of wheat crop failures from central continental droughts besetting all continents, another sign of a climate supersystem beginning to collapse. These have lead to skyrocketing food prices. Food prices triggered revolutions in early 2011 across North Africa and the Middle East. Food has often been the match of revolutions in the past, and I predict that more will spread beyond the Middle East and North Africa because of this first “tilt” warning, flashing in the supersystem of food sustainability.

The next alarm bell is the birth of the 7 billionth child in 2011. You see the signs of his supersystem collapse in the rise of commodity prices as we now begin to add another American-sized middle class population to the planet every five years. Three hundred million new consumers begin demanding that our overstressed supersystems of food, oil, construction materials and other commodity supersystems supply its exploding demand.

It is not possible. Not the way we think and unconsciously live today. A more enlightened society could sustain a healthy, spacious planet with 50 billion people living well off upon it. Our childish civilization cannot do that. Little children left to their own devices cannot clothe, shelter and feed themselves. We live in that society.

The signs of the beginning of the collapse of childhood’s civilized end are the rising prices in everything. They rise because too many children are selfishly grasping for the resources. Their demand is too large to sustain. Thus you will have a lot of cranky babies out there, revolutions and civil disruptions. The process will be terrible and painful. It will take decades before a newer more mature civilization could emerge out of the chaos of the 2020s. Perhaps it arrives by the 2050s.

It could arrive right now, if people heed these warnings and change destiny’s course.

What is the tie that binds? Is it God, the Universe, the universal consciousness? What is the source? And how do we tap into it? Or maybe we are already tapped in… but we went in search of many schemes.

I would say it is more the “or”, the last part of your question.

Many years ago I wrote a poem that perhaps answers the last part of your question best, at least from my own experience of this question:

Do you remember the game we played long ago,
The game of Gods-Awake who chose to sleep,
We chose to play the Game of Forgetting
—and forgot—
That we were gods playing a game?

Dear enlightened one, play-acting enlightened-once,
There still is a trace of the awaken-time left
In the dark and secret corners of your being.
Do you feel it stirring against the burial mound of mind-knowledge
Suppressing your conscious flight?

It is the Ever-“Yes” awakening in thee.
It is calling you back with pure and voiceless silence,
To remember godliness again.
Sing now a song of yearning for the New Humanity
So that it echoes sweet fulfillment back from the halls of the future.

What are a few things that you predicted that came true?

For starters, I seem to have the ability to pick the victor by popular vote of every presidential election since 1968. That is an 11 and 0 record so far.

Next to that, I have a good track record for predicting the weather for each new year. For instance in Predictions for 2009 I said the Gulf States region would have a quiet Hurricane season except for a modest tropical storm hitting Florida and the Carolinas. These turned out to be the only paces having tropical storm events that year. In Predictions for 2010 I said the US Gulf States would once again enjoy a very quiet Hurricane season at a time when most weather forecasters were predicting a very violent hurricane season spreading the Deep Horizon oil spill. Though there were many hurricanes that season, they boiled and roiled off in the Atlantic Ocean. No hurricanes hit the northern waters of the Gulf or visited the Gulf States except a rainmaker hitting the southern tip of Texas but mostly going into Mexico. Cannot predict a quiet season for 2011, unfortunately.

I documented one of my more notable hurricane predictions in the book 1000 for 2000 Startling Predictions (1998). I later repeated that prediction on Fox News for the Hannity and Colmes show on 31 December 1999. I reiterated that either New Orleans or Miami would be devastated in the first five hurricane seasons of the new century by a super-hurricane. As we know, Hurricane Season number five saw New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

I presaged in 2008 that an African American would become Chairman of the Republican Party in 2009. Then came African American Michael Steel to the post.

At the end of 2007, I predicted the Great Recession for later on in 2008. I also said this on the record on Coast to Coast AM in January of 2008. I also said Obama would be a two term president on that show in early 2009. Got a lot of angry mail for that. A lot of anti-Obama people thought I was nuts. Well…look at the current Republican bullpen of potential candidates for 2012. So far, it does not look too promising that there will be an upset. But we will see.

 [Hogue update, 06 August 2011. A few months ago I predicted Governor Rick Perry would enter the race making the 2012 campaign far more interesting. At the time of this update, he is about to enter the fray. I still content that Barack Obama will have a second term in office though efforts by certain corporate forces are openly contriving to collapse the economy into a Second Recession, which I dated in Predictions for 2011 coming no later than mid-year. Well, here we are, it seems. Forces are out there. The same forces which in Predictions for 2011 I called “Politicorp” – a new corporate aristocracy/plutocracy – are unleashing since 2012 a creeping coup d’état on the American democracy, often in the name of constitutional reform. But that noble idea is not their intent. Nor is it the scaling down of government spending. Their intent is to hobble the constitution and the democratic government of America, push back protections on food, water and environment by 50 years, to make unlimited and unrestrained profits. They will try to pin this next recession on Obama. If the president can be perceived in the presidential campaign of 2012 to be the only “adult” in the running – not to say that this is true, mind you – this perception at least will see him win in a very close and disputed election. He may face a divided Congress, divided between the Tea Party and Republican Parties, with Democrats a distant third in both houses. The man who “could” beat Obama will not run in 2012 because he has the wrong name, Jeb “Bush”, the former governor of Florida. Now we return to what I wrote back in February-March 2011:]

For me some of the more unsettling fulfilled predictions revolve around things that just drop into my awareness out of the blue and go against my own mind, such as predicting the rise of lone wolf terrorists in 2009, followed by lone wolf domestic terrorist attacks in 2010. Getting the unemployment numbers right for the Great Recession was chilling to me. One of the most inexplicable and detailed prophetic hits happened in 2009. That was months before the strategy meetings happened between Obama and the Pentagon over Afghanistan. The oracle grasped exactly what transpired in the future; namely, that Obama would give the Pentagon a troop surge of 40,000 soldiers (10,000 of which were NATO allies) but hold them to an 18-month deadline to turn the tide or he would begin combat troop withdrawals by the summer of 2011.

How serious is the potential collapse of Bee populations?

The Bee Plague was a bee’s version of the pandemic of the Black Death of the high Middle Ages. In the bees’ case it was caused by crowding of industrial hives to produce more honey. Right now the Bee plague is going dormant, but like the bubonic plague on humans, it will return and subside return and subside. After the Black Death in the 1300s more localized and regional Black Death appeared and retreated throughout Europe and the rest of the world up to the 1700s. One might hope that the bee plague will do no worse, but I would add that the honeybee has become the new canary in the mind shaft, as it were of climate stress on animals and humans. The times of great pandemics are coming again. If not in this decade (watch for 2013-2014 as one important window) then definitely in the 2020s and 2030s.

What do you think we could be blind sided with this year? Beyond a Korean War, Attack on Iran or dollar crash.

A North Korean collapse is more likely rather than a war. No attack on Iran, even though so many people expect it. The economic crisis stemming form oil prices shooting up beyond $100 was what I said back in 2009 for predictions for 2010, would be the trigger of the next economic crisis. The window for danger opened in October 2010. I said in 2010 that March and April of 2011 would be the most dangerous months of this. Now we have oil rising over $100 and perhaps set to match its all time high of $148 or more because of food and fuel price upheavals and panics in the market around March and April. But the danger is not over if we pass into May through July, because the impact of grain lost to the global markets by Russia’s lingering lack of exports, Australia’s grain mostly good only for livestock because of cyclones. There is also America’s winter wheat crop suffering a lower yield than promised in exports because of a series of violent blizzards early in the year. These will rapidly, as predicted, shift suddenly into violent tornado infested storms of spring across the grain belts of America. Also, there is the 2011 hurricane season which will be at least if not more devastatingly violent than the 2005 season best known for Hurricane Katrina. Oil price climbs may also be threatened if Houston refineries are in the storm line of a great hurricane this year.

 [Hogue update, 06 August 2011. The peak rise of oil eventually reached the $120s level and even though it stabilized, many accurate market forecasters of Recessions, such as Bert Dohman, President of the Dohman Capital Research Institute, point to the beginning of the Second Recession in May. July ended with worldwide alarm at US leadership with the travesty of their debt ceiling debate. August began with the worst Dow Jones Industrial drop of points since the 2008 recession. S&P just lowered US credit rates by a star and may lower it further. At the time of this writing, Monday (8 August 2011) approaches. Stock markets will continue their recessionary fall for the oncoming week. Some of the worst sectors hit have been in the food and agriculture industries thanks to crop failures from the spring and summer floods. Blizzards did shift quickly to lingering triple-digit heat waves throughout the spring and summer causing widespread livestock and crop die offs in Texas and the central plain states. When I wrote the above, the tornado season was unusually quiet. It later exploded in April, May and June with historic devastation in St. Louis International Airport, super cell tornado outbreaks across the US south, flattening cities and towns of Alabama in particular. Even Massachusetts was hard hit by tornadoes, then Joplin Missouri – flattened. So far, the Gulf of Mexico regions and the Atlantic seaboard states have been spared a repeat of the Katrina-2005 hurricane season. The most active part of the season is ahead of us. Hopefully I will be wrong about it being violent storms for Houston and the Gulf, but Haiti is in the hurricane season’s cross-hairs, sorry to say. Now back to what I wrote in early March:]

Prophecy likes to date events but free will does speed up or delay events. It is possible that these surprises can be delayed into 2012 or 2013 but at this time of writing (8 March 2011), the trends appear to be on course.

There are also pleasant surprises that might blind-side us this year or next. I spent a whole chapter in Predictions for 2011 on a five year process Israel’s leadership might take that could see Iran isolated and the Palestinian State established. That future IS available for Israel if its leadership uses the rise of democratic desires across the Arab world to make peace with its Arab neighbors and thereby leave Iran as the sole remaining threat to the Arab world. An Israeli-Iranian war may happen as a result with the US allied in the fighting with Israel, but there is time for moderate voices in Iran to prevail. I foresee the war danger not coming until the present times enter the year 2015 and 2016.

There are many more details about the economy, the future of the US military presence in the Middle East, where it is shifting next, the oncoming “Cold Depression” which is like a Cold War in economic terms, etc., that people can read more about by clicking on predictions.

There is a lot of sensational rumor leaking out of the FBI like a broken inkwell for thumbprints, black and obscure, very messy! Apparently an Iranian-US citizen acted as go-between on visits to Teheran with operatives of the al-Quds Revolutionary Guards to pay for and hire Mexican cartel hit men to cross the US border and assassinate the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. They would throw a bomb into his lunch plate at a crowded local restaurant in Washington DC then hurl bombs at the Israeli Embassy. The blood money pledged was ridiculously low for any Mexican cartel to reap the whirlwind of US retaliation, a mere 1.4 million bucks. That will get you  a sack of cocaine.

I have watched Iran since my Boeing 747 Air India flight made a memorable midnight run over the Persian Gulf during the first week of the Iran-Iraq War in September 1980 while I was on my way to meet Osho in India for the first time.

The details coming out of FBI agent’s mouths – and flummoxing Senators debriefed on 13 October by such – are as clouded as Octopus ink and it is just as fishy. The whole story stinks to me.

It stinks of right-wing elements in the US and Israeli governments waving a false flag. These elements would still like to see plan B of their strategic goals achieved even in an Obama first or second term. This newly “discovered” Iran terror plot sounds like a semi-fictional incident (like WMDs in Iraq). It is intended to distract people away from a growing Occupy Wall Street national now “international” movement and perhaps distract people’s attention in Israel away from the steady progress of the Palestinian Authority towards some form of sovereign status in the United Nations by “trick or treat” time – Halloween.

It seems like a good time for government back door propaganda to stifle dissent in America and Israel with an ultimate and nationally uniting action. Let us make up a war with Iran and in the venture take down its Islamic Fundamentalist Theocracy. This whole terror plot smells of shadow elements in the Israeli and American governments that would like to accomplish the destruction of the Iranian regime.

That aim has been the Zionist/Neo-Conservative agenda fomented by the former Vice President Dick Cheney as far back as 1992 when Cheney as editor and a future G.W. Bush deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, authored the Neo-Con movement’s first of many evolving manifestos published after the fall of the Soviet Union. These sought to convince Americans of a new enemy to sustain the military industrial complex of the US superpower after the end of the Cold War. After the Soviet colossus fell Iraq and Iran, modestly if fairly fit the bill. They both were radically governed nations bestride some of the largest oil reserves in the world that sustained the United States “and” Western civilization with crude oil. These rogue regimes, perhaps rightfully, had to go, either by economic pressure or through unilateral invasion if global consensus was not forthcoming.

The Neo-Conservatives moved from theory to power in 2001 with G.W. Bush’s administration initially crowding their number in top cabinet posts.

Bill Kristol is the current editor of the Weekly Standard and a number of Neo-Con papers including one published in September 2000 just before the Bush-Gore presidential debates musing about the need for a “Peal Harbor” event to advance Neo-Conservative agendas. Kristol, who like many Neo-Cons enjoys dual citizenship as an American and Israeli citizen, and who also think tanks for Israeli foreign policy, has called for open war with Iran saying about this recently exposed terror plot, “We have an engraved invitation.” Since 1998, Kristol lobbied for war with Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq and said a fortnight after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that “even if evidence does not link Iraq directly to the attack, any strategy aiming at the eradication of terrorism and its sponsors must include a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from power." Kristol advocated this stance in 2002 through early 2003 as a board member to the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq that lobbied hard to successfully convince Congress to vote G.W. Bush war powers to invade Iraq.

In 2000, a Neo-Con manifesto openly pondered the need for a “Pearl Harbor event” to hasten their goals. Surprise, surprise! They got one on 11 September 2001 with al-Qaeda’s aid. Now they had their national emergency and Congress grasped by its left or right leaning “balls.” The Neo-cons could make their puppet president do or say whatever they wanted because the hysteria of national unity stifled rational critics. By false flag WMD scares, they succeeded in 2003 taking down Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime. Iran was next.

US Plans for war studied and rehearsed from 2004 through 2006 were so brazen that I felt it was time to collect Nostradamus’ many references to a war in our future between Israel and America versus Iran because it seemed imminent. The first of two astrological windows for war were open during 2007. If the first closed, the next window would open in the near future in not far off 2015-2016.

In 2006, I began composing an e-book that matched up Nostradamus prophecies with the lightly veiled apocalyptic motives of leaders in the three potential combatant states. First in America’s highest office you have evangelical Christian war hawks in the Neo-Conservative cabinet of a president who famously said that “God” told him to invade Iraq and Iran was next. You had similar latter-day aspirations murmured by the Israeli cabinet and prime minister – some openly musing that war with Iran would be a portent for the Jewish Messiah soon to come. You had Iranian President Ahmadinejad loudly and notoriously proclaim his apocalyptic aspirations for Israel being “wiped off the map of history.” Even now the Iranian president opens every public speech, even before the United Nations, with a prayer for the return of the Mahdi. He is the 12th Imam, the final prophet who will reappear from his occultation to bring on an Islamic Armageddon that will take back al-Quds (the Iranian name for Jerusalem) and make the surviving Jews true believers of Islam.

The mainstream news as ever, overlooked the subconscious motivations beneath this three-way saber rattling for Armageddon. In early 2007, I deemed it was time to publish my findings about them and perhaps go on media outlets around the world exposing these prophetic motivations examining possible war scenarios of the 16^th century French prophet leading up to those purportedly recorded in the Hadith by Islam’s final prophet himself, Muhammad.

In that book Nostradamus: The War with Iran, I gathered a number of Nostradamus prophecies that pointed to a future military showdown with Persia (modern day Iran) by Western forces. These verses using contemporary names from the 16th century even mentioned the Persian Gulf and its narrow opening, the Strait of Hormuz, as the site of a future naval and air battles where a fleet will be “melted and sunk” by those of the “trident.”

As usual, there are layers to the riddles of Nostradamus’ wordplay. The seemingly obvious solution modern people might apply is a US “trident” class submarine that melts and sinks an Iranian surface fleet that consists of an armada of thousands of small boats — none of which are larger in tonnage than corvettes armed with a brace of Chinese silk missiles. Certainly the overwhelming force of Trident submarines or the hail of fiery death descending from missiles fired by US Navy carrier jets, cruisers, frigates and destroyers would be enough to “melt” and sink any suicidal attack by a flotilla of PT 109-pint sized Kamikaze craft piloted by Iranian Shahid (martyrs).

Indeed, Nostradamus may have named the US fleet obscured in another interesting word riddle. They are called “the True Serpent.” If you look down 4.5 centuries of Nostradamus’ future history of the world that has become our past, you will often find his riddles and descriptions using nicknames or flags flown by armies and or fleets of water and even air. For instance, we have “those of the Sun” in Century 5 Quatrain 11 of Nostradamus’ history of the future Les Propheties:

Mer par solaires seure ne passera,
Ceux de Venus tiendront toute l’Affrique:
Lure regne plus Sol, Saturne n’occupera,
Et changera la part Asiatique.

Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety,
Those of Venus will hold all of Africa:
Their realm will no longer be occupied by Sun (and) Saturn,
And the Asiatic part will change.

Reference to those of the Sun standing alone is open to many possibilities, but the reference to Venus (a code name for “Venice”) is often used by Nostradamus to describe fascist Italy during the Second World War. Though Italy had possession of Libya, Somalia and Ethiopia at the start of the war, they did not achieve control of Africa, unless this is one of Nostradamus’ alternative futures only partially fulfilled. Saturn’s color is as black as Italian Black Shirts and German Gestapo SS troops, symbols of Axis fascism

The Battle of Midway, by R.G. Smith. Three Japanese fleet carriers take direct and fatal hits from US Navy Dauntless dive bombers, turning the tide of the war on the Pacific Ocean in June 1942. "Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety," wrote Nostradamus 386 years earlier. Perhaps his vision foresaw the great red suns painted on the carrier decks?

Those of the “Sun” describe the third Axis ally: the Imperial Japanese fleet, visualized in Nostradamus’ nightly reveries in trance as dark gray warships flying the rising sun flag. The US Navy and the Army Air Forces would nearly sink the entire Japanese fleet in the Second World War. The fall of the Japanese empire forever changed Asia, ending its colonial hold and that of Western empires in a series of popular anti-colonial rebellions in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and also witness the rise of a sleeping giant, the People’s Republic of China.

The true serpent fighting the Persians in our future may be another reference to a naval flag. In my book about Nostradamus’ predictions for Iran, I said the following:

Every ship in this vast US armada flies the US flag and a US Navy Jack. Note that it is a flag with thirteen red and white stripes over which an American Rattlesnake crawls under the motto “Don’t Tread on Me!” It is only in recent times that all ships of the American Navy hoist this flag. On May 22, 2002, the U.S. Navy ordered all ships to display the First Navy Jack as long as the War on Terrorism continued. Ceremonies to raise the flag of the “true” serpent took place on every US Naval ship on 11 September 2002, the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the “Pearl Harbor” event that launched the world war of terrorism.

On some near future date, or perhaps as late as 2015, the “true serpent” will “invade” the waters of the Persian Gulf.

So, with that said, is war with Iran about to break out earlier than the astrological window of 2015-2016?

My answer is emphatic.

It is no.

Gaming out this news of an Iranian terror plot this week is a propagandized step towards such a war happening when the astrological aspects I described in detail in the book open the potential for conflict once again about four to five years hence. Indeed the Navy Jack takes on new symbolic significance.

The true serpent flag is also the symbol of the American Tea Party. Perhaps in 2016 there will be elected a president of the United States who is a member of that “true serpentine party”? How ironic it would be if the party that often promotes America pulling out of wars in the Middle East actually got their man or woman into the White House who then led America into its third and most disastrous war.

Another scenario would have President Obama in his second term, co-opted by a Tea Party controlled Congress who pushes him into signing on to Neo-Conservative aspirations for a war after years of negotiation with Iran went nowhere. It is a fact that Obama at present has chosen diplomacy first in his efforts to take Iran out of the nuclear arms race with Israel. However, he has left the apocalyptic door open that G.W. Bush and his Neo-Con handler, Dick Cheney, had closed in their faces by events at the end of Bush’s second term.

Occupy Wall Street Goes Global
This is not a movement of hippies, corporate media hacks and it is far bigger and more mainstream already than the Tea Party ever was. Occupy Wall Street keeps gaining momentum across the United States with polls showing 75 percent of Americans sympathetic or in full support of the movement. This weekend it spreads to “Occupy” movements across the world in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Three thousand gathered before the London stock exchange, and six thousand plan to camp, Ziccotti Park NY style, before the European Central Bank headquarter in Frankfurt. Demonstrations where held in 50 other German cities including 6,000 demonstrators in Berlin and 1,500 in Cologne. Thousands also gathered before banks and stock exchanges in Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong China and Tokyo Japan.

The demonstrations in the US are at last showing results politically with Secretary of Treasury and Secretary of State, Tim Geithner and Hillary Clinton sending clear signals Friday that more bank reforms are coming and must come.

On an ominous note, peaceful protests on Friday and today were eclipsed in Rome with widespread violence. The blazing cars, shattered shop, and bank glass windows of Roman streets can be the future of this movement around the world next year in 2012, because Italy is far closer to economic default. Politicians are running out of time if they do not legislate banking reforms before this peaceful global movement must get their attention by rioting.

Are Atlantic Tsunamis coming Next?

Tsunamis come in protest movements. Will they be coming as waves flooding the North Atlantic coastlines of Brazil, America and Europe? The windswept El Hierro Island in the Canary Island chain for months now has endured a significant earthquake swarm symptomatic of an imminent volcanic eruption. Unconfirmed reports of volcanic material floating off El Hierro’s coast might indicate a submarine eruption has begun.

In prehistoric times a large piece of El Hierro sloughed off into the Atlantic no doubt causing a catastrophic tsunami. The satellite photos showing a green subsea plume of a purported fissure in the island’s undersea shelf on the south side may presage an underwater landslide that might cause a tsunami, though I doubt it would generate any to match the previous monster wave that raged off its northern shore in prehistoric times.

This situation deserves watching, but some websites are practicing prophetic hyperbole by inaccurately comparing El Hierro to its larger volcanic island neighbor Las Palmas as the same, even in photos used. For now, Las Palmas is inactive, so those of you who think a 130-to-160-foot wave will crash into the US eastern seaboard eight hours after an imminent landslide are mixing your mega disaster metaphors and islands. Moreover, most of El Hierro’s tsunami energy would go south to the West African coast all the way to Antarctica, not west, if we were talking about Las Palmas.

I consulted my oracle about El Hierro. In the worst case scenario a tsunami might arise as devastating to other Canary Islands as that which flooded Japan in March of 2011. The main visitations with sporadic harbor and coastal damage like what was experienced in the Hawaiian Islands and Santa Cruz California from the Japanese tsunami would range along the sparsely populated Western Sahara southwards to the Mauritanian coast down to the city of Dakar, in Senegal.

My oracle at this point does not see a major tsunami coming out of a future eruption of El Hierro. It is much more concerned with El Hierro’s volcanism triggering a Las Palmas eruption causing half the geologically unstable, western coastal mountainside of the island to suddenly slip into the Atlantic. Such an event would be a civilization-changing catastrophe sending a tsunami up to 160 feet high roaring 4.5 miles inland over the coasts of Brazil, French Guyana, Surname, Guyana, east Venezuela, the Caribbean islands of the Lesser Antilles, and the US Atlantic seaboard!

Europe would also be hit by significant tsunamis between 16 and 23 feet high, nearly as destructive as those inundating the Honshu coastal towns and Sendai airport, would visit Ireland, Iceland, England, France and Spain. The Canary Islands and the nearby mainland coastline of southwestern Morocco and the neighboring nation of Western Sahara might witness a tsunami flood 300 feet high!

What happens when an angry mass of people feel like their lives are stuck in neutral by perceived symbols of power oppression? If they aren’t heard, if they aren’t able to move forward, they can riot.

Friends,
I have been anticipating a popular street rebellion for years now. A potential “Tea Party” initially issuing out of the politically Left wing and labor-oriented side of America’s hollowing out Middle Classes, the new poor. Among them are college graduates who can’t find a job, the overworked and underemployed. The chronically unemployed whose jobs went overseas, the elderly whom the hardhearted will cut their care. They are blue-collar laborers deemed second class Americans because they build the colleges rather than attend college. They are the first of many from the 45 million uninsured working poor soon to join the crowds gathering in the streets before Wall Street.

Now for something more radical than Left and Right wing extremism. This initially rag-tag collection of people of differing generational and political backgrounds do seek a common ground. They are radical enough to share something rather than be a part of the spoiled and whining-child political polarization that is in fad these days. The demonstrators, be they Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or independent voters share being the “99 Percent” who are not part of Wall Street, the banking system or billionaires who Bush, then Obama with few if any strings to reform attached, has bailed out for economic sub-prime speculation crimes. They are not the “Bangsters” who then took these trillion-dollar Bush-TARP and then Obamabailouts from the taxpayers’ pockets and used the funds to lobby and crush further reform.

The 99-ers are are losing their middle class status by the millions of households annually since the Great Recession began in 2008 and returns at the end of 2011. They lose by creeping legislation their health benefits the majority of our US Senators will not lose. They’ll still have their pensions, their health care. Many a US Senator is a millionaire, just like President Obama and Bush before him. They can spare a crocodile tear and muse in comfort inside their swank townhouses and White House in Washington DC, tossing a few cheap words about feeling empathy for the rest of us. In truth, they neither need nor protect your labor laws, your clean air and water laws — many of which are set to quietly run out and vanish by the end of 2012. They hope you’re not watching them do it. The corporate media distracts your attention from them doing it. You the people give the corporate media permission to use your airwaves. You can threaten to pull the plug on them if in the name of journalism they overlook the steady usurpation of your rights and freedoms.

Your legislators in the pocket of the 1-percent powerful give allegiance to a handful of moneyed lobbyists and not the struggling millions of true citizens. They aid a new American who is not a real person. There is a new species of “citizen” given birth by a ruling of the Supreme Court in 2010. There are new “Americans” otherwise known as mulit-billion-dollar “corporations.”

The American Declaration of Independence may have famously declared that “all men are created equal” but I think multi-national corporations masquerading as single American citizens are a little more “equal” than you or I, thanks to the Supreme Court’s billionaire-bullshit made into law. Since then, their 1 percent is far more equal than all the 99 percent of Americans put together. You even pay more taxes than the 1-percent wealthy. They pay hardly any taxes and have become insanely rich as the rest of the country descends insanely into poverty.

Watch well, you aristocratic gentry of the 21st century. History has a bad habit of repeating itself. The costumes and social façades may change, but the essence of history does not. Think Russia, you wealthy folk. Think of what happens when one percent holds two thirds of the wealth of a nation, demanding the rest suffer further impoverishing sacrifices that the boyars of billions of hoarded bucks do not, a lion’s, share.

Don’t Francis Fukuyama-up again by listening to idiot Neo-Con philosophers that promote an End of History when in truth history is perpetual. The look of things may change but the communism that fell in the early 1990s, the fascism that fell in 1945 can return once again when economic crises spread to become political crises like they did in Czarist Russia, leading to the Bolshevik Revolution and also when the wimpy Weimar Republic collapsed and became Hitler’s Third Reich.

While billionaires revel in their offices thirty stories above the angry streets below, they may not hear the same murmur, or see the gathering masses in protest with any more foresight than the last Russian Czar and his oligarchs less than a decade before the Russian Revolution. Nicholas I, sitting complacently behind the walls of his Winter Palace; the 1 percent ruling gentry, on their faraway estates – getting richer, getting fatter, chose to be unmindful if not in complete denial of the growing masses in St. Petersburg and Moscow protesting the lack of bread, the lack of jobs, a fair share of the nation’s sacrifices and bounties.

You wealthy in your gated communities and high-rise bank offices, do you think history has ended?

Do you believe you can’t find yourself within less than a decade lined up against a wall and shot in a bloody revolution, especially in a country awash in 300 million guns?

America is at a critical crossroads this autumn of 2011. We are less than a decade away from our own version of a Nazi Brown or Bolshevik Red Revolution, if polarization of the political dialogue deepens whilst leadership strays. I have been gathering and reporting for years collective visions from may seers of diverse disciplines and historic times dating a Second American Revolution coming as soon as the 2020s. Though I personally work towards that revolution being peaceful and refreshing the American Dream, I must admit that my efforts run against a prophetic collective momentum presaging a revolution and or civil conflict far bloodier than any experienced in US history so far.

For F's sake, Francis. History does repeat itself. Look at the girl in this iconic kiss photo, celebrating the end of WWII. She did it again!!

I foresaw grass root, popular protests coming in predictions documented for the period of 2010 through 2011; moreover I anticipated the people movements coming from the extremes of the left and right wing. The Tea Party on the Right and the initially left leaning “99 Percenters” movement, though the latter, I predict will ignite the middle class mainstream, the invisible majority of independent voters, from now through November 2012. The presidential candidate that can either join the wave or lead it will be elected president.

What follows is my prescient testimony to how we got from the Recession to what I hope is a peaceful rebellion of the 99-Percent movement that may yet forestall a violent revolution in the next decade.

We will begin with a selection of the predictions from the end of 2009, in which I logged what was coming in the next two years as a failure to reform political and economic systems. It accurately foresaw the US rich and elites (including the Congress and the President) not listening to or answering the needs of 99 percent of their economically suffering constituents. Then we move to predictions logged at the end of 2010 that anticipated the people movement that on this very day received the official endorsement of US union support. The demonstrations now spread beyond New York and Washington DC to 30 cities across the US. This is only the beginning of a protest of mass-American discontent with the way sacrifice and wealth isn’t shared.

We start with a passage from late 2009 anticipating how do-nothing politicians wouldn’t risk leading and applying bold solutions to economic problems in 2010-2011.

Fate comes calling. Everyone this year is going to have to pay their pound sterling or dollar’s worth of flesh, be they rich man poor man, CEO, thief. You can’t spend more than you have or inflate values in commodities and currencies that don’t exist. Washington DC, you can’t waste another year like you will squander 2010 blundering about beating your chests before the sensation-centric media. You politicians must venture dangerous, unpopular decisions on a plethora of challenges.

Chapter 4: Real Economy Reform Hits a Wall Street of Banksters

Next, a scathing oracular attack on the elitism of Barack Obama: this immature and inexperienced “Meritocrat” from the Ivy Leagues surrounding himself with economic advisers stuck in the same bubble. The oracle presaged a flunking grade, noting that by the end of 2010 it would be clear Obama sold himself out to elitist fantasies about leading America out of its economic doldrums:

Finance is the handmaiden of Industry and yes, the young and inspiring president [Obama] came into office with a generational pain in the national reserve, an unregulated disaster of the Bush administration leaving Obama holding the last straw that brokered the camel’s bank. Early and decisive finance reform was one in a host of Obama’s messianic campaign promises pushed to the back of the bus.

He soon surrounded himself with a think tank of insider experts, a Secretary of Treasury quarterback and an offensive Wall Street team of blocker banking insiders. None ran a real mainstreet business. These academics never made billions in the “real” economy. No Trumps, no Michael Bloombergs. Just fellow college elites. Abstract and professorial economic specialists. Technocrats like Sec. of Treasury Tim Geithner…

I mean Geithner smells of insider trading in his job at NYC Fed for chief finance minister of the land. He crashed Lehman Bothers then bailed out other bigger failures. He overlooked paying $50,000 of his own taxes even. How is he punished? With a “bonus”—running Obama’s US Treasury Department.

Rewarding failure smells like the team spirit of elitism. The new president is comfortable with wonky elites by the grace of scholarship pulling him out of destined obscurity as a lower middle class hangout in Hawaii. By the grace of university grants he was given access to the echoing halls of higher learning-how-to-impress and influence people for promotion. Obama is smitten by the elitist lifestyle. He wanted to belong then; he wants to belong now, all rhetoric aside. This egoistic need stands in the way of his potential for greatness…

More than naivety or a shallow read of history will bedevil Obama in 2010. It would seem he has made a bargain with the CEOligarchs of the financial sector. He thinks he can stroke the hand and change the heart of the elites feeding him power and significance.

Chapter 4: Real Economy Reform Hits a Wall Street of Banksters

Despite my oracle’s pessimism in late 2009 about the coming two years, it did eventually presage oligarchic control colliding with popular desires for reform as a repetition of the great 250-year cycle of middle class revolutions defined by the returned rare transit of Pluto through Capricorn. Now as before, when the wealthy class push comes to the people’s returned shove, you begin to see the kind of demonstrations before icons of authority, such as the Tahrir Square-like demonstrations currently ongoing near the façade of Wall Street. The corporate media may disparage these little demonstrations as they are employed to be teleprompted by their masters to do, but back in 2009, my oracle bore witness to such protests coming on like pebbles of people power that will soon start an avalanche of hopefully peaceful revolution and reform between now and 2024.

The pendulum has begun to swing and though it seems hard to believe that government will reform and regulate business as it used to, the long-term progress of this era of Pluto’s transit through Capricorn (2008-2024) will bring a subconscious desire for control and reform to return.

These powerful Plutonian collective unconscious forces described in the prescient poetry of astrology frame a deep and urgent desire for revolution that is rooted in logical, working and well-defined systems. The founding fathers of America labored and argued hard to forge such a rational constitutional system of governance the last time Pluto passed slowly through the sign of Capricorn. The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States are products of that transit.

Chapter 4: Real Economy Reform Hits a Wall Street of Banksters

In the following passage, my oracle foresaw a new definition of racism would rise that is more based on dividing us between the races who “have” and the races who “have-not” wealth and elitist, moneyed influence. The US leadership and especially the president – subconsciously perhaps – belong to the racist “haves” who patronize the “have-nots”. Obama is an Ivy League millionaire. He spends most of his days with other Ivy League or politically influential millionaires and billionaires. His feeling our pain is filtered through this new form of economic racism. His empathy is abstract, cerebral. My oracle saw this coming at the end of 2009 when it had me write the following:

A new Aquarian-Age racial discrimination coming is far more subtle than what is at last being transcended since Obama’s advent: a kind of racism not easily exposed. Mostly very good people unconsciously are caught under its spell. Even the president himself seems in his rhetoric to be unconsciously a racist in the new cut of destiny’s wild card. He’s of the Race of “Haves” who often patronize those belonging to the race of “Have-nots.”

Attention Muggles! Meet the One-Percenters of pure blooded wizards.

Your economic standing is the new measure of racism in America. It’s like half-blood Muggles versus pure blood magicians in the Harry Potter novels and movies. Doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, red or yellow, female or male, if you’ve got the magic of money, you are part of the race of magicians, if you are any color or gender but without a lot of the color greenback dollar of a good bank account, you are a muddling un-magical Muggle-born…

In 2010, the Geithners the Obamas and all the other ivy leaguers in the US Cabinet will learn the hard way. Merit is earned after you leave the university bubble, not before. The real test of the measure of your authentic meritocracy is at hand, Mr. President, and that of your flock of preppy technocrats. It might do well to include in your ranks those of lesser racial respect who didn’t go to college but passed successfully through the university of life and hard work accomplished. You might talk to those who used higher learning as a means to that end rather than a means to a superior dead-ended sense of audacious entitlement.

Chapter 5: The New Racism

Erin Burnett. How far you have fallen. From CNBC to CNN "BS". I happened to see her first show where this once respected journalist becomes a Corporate Media mannequin. In the Wolf Blitzer tradition, she tells us what to think about footage that only shows a few cranks dressed in zombie constumes in the crowds at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. Shame on you, Erin. You're the one who's the zombie.

Now let us move forward to predictions logged at the end of 2010. My oracle perceived the essence of a popular movement – that we currently define as the 99-Percent of Americans protesting the corruption, wealth hoarding and lack of sacrificing they perceive coming from the 1 percent of Americans who have the lobbies, the Congress, perhaps the president even, and the courts on their side. The race of “haves” are ever more defined by the 99-percent “have nots” as tightening their control on the wealth and political powers in America. To the 99-Percenters it would seem my oracle as far back as December of last year, had provided the following prescient cautions, comments and instructions on how to use social media as a tool of protest and what to do with this tool next:

I predict that countries, common (communal) markets, and industries will continue to hurt themselves if they don’t come together and fix what are becoming inter-national, inter-global, interconnected problems. That’s why the rest of Europe will help Greece as well as Spain, Portugal and Ireland’s troubled economies with financial assistance by the middle of 2011.

Take back the power from CEOlygarchies. Rediscover your authentic needs, then demand influence over what they supply.

If governments are slow to support watchdog agencies, citizens of the world can expose and change behavior of corporations via the power of the Internet to organize protests and declare their demands. You can WikiLeak. Expose craftiness and undemocratic behavior of your governments and corporations. Don’t like what British Petroleum did in the Gulf of Mexico last year [2010]? Start an Internet campaign to boycott buying any product associated with BP until they change their dangerous drilling practices. Any customer can be the first spark of a watchdog agency getting his or her message out to the worldwide-wired human world.

The same citizen power carried by Internet can revolutionize government and politics. Government need not be dismantled. It can be redefined to suit our 21st century. E-Gov approaches. It gives everyone with a computer keyboard or a smartphone direct access to public servants and services.

Though the middle class in America seems politically adrift, it will presently be carried through this decade in the momentum of young-spirited, newly emergent middle classes in the developing world. They can spread an Internet demand of democratic values that can begin pushing back on corporate-controlled governments around the world.

The keyboard is mightier than the culture of bureaucracy that slows and inhibits political and social progress.

The first step in bringing efficiency back to government is a network of citizens undermining bureaucratic attitudes, demanding their governments share information as an individual right.

I have posted the Declaration of Occupation coming from Zuccotti Park (renamed Liberty Park by the protesters) yesterday. It is the first of three planned statements explaining the views of the protesters.

The Occupy Wall Street movement describes itself as a leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions.

“The one thing we all have in common,” say the group, “is the we are the 99 Percent that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1 percent.”

They add that they are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve their ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.

Some of you are wondering why a prophecy watcher’s website is giving so much attention to this popular movement. If you trust my oracle’s instincts, they will point you to the next big thing happening in the future. This movement is a maturation of the first baby steps of the Tea Party movement towards something that I have been writing about since I posted my American Party Manifesto article, years ago. I have often said that only a third party movement that finds common ground amongst a frustrated and angry American populace will have the power to break the two-faced political monopoly of Democrat and Republican Parties that have polarized and frozen American democracy and begun handing it over to corporate control.

The Tea Party was the beginning. Occupy Wall Street and the other demonstrations spreading across the country is the second evolution of what will eventually become a great revolution from the invisible majority of Americans. It will eventually become a revolution from Middle America – the middle being what we all share as Americans.

What follows is the “Declaration of Occupation of New York City” and I predict there is much that all Americans can eventually agree on in these statements whether they politically see the world from the Left, the Center or the Right.

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.

They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.

They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.

They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.

They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless nonhuman animals, and actively hide these practices.

They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.

They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.

They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.

They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.

They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.

They have sold our privacy as a commodity.

They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.

They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.

They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.

They have donated large sums of money to politicians supposed to be regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.

They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantive profit.

They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.

They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.

They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.

They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.

They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.

They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts.

To the people of the world,

We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

First, I would like to welcome all the thousands of new readers of Hogueprophecy.com that caught the cyber-traffic tsunami generated by recent events, such as Hurricane Irene and my recent three-hour interview with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.

The theme of this article — the bulk of which was first posted on 26 August a few days before the Coast interview on 31 August — is pertinent enough to deserve an insert of updates today, 03 September. My “oracle” foresaw seven earth-shaking events for the month of September. That is meant literally as in a major seismic event as well as metaphorically in the realms of politics, the economy and the climate shift.

I would like to launch today’s update with what appears to many of my readers to be a fulfilled prediction I logged and published last year on 21 December 2010 in my annual e-book of prophecies, entitled Predictions for 2011. It was one of the rare occasions that my oracle posited a specific time window for an event that might be fulfilled by the deluge of flooding rains testing the levies of New Orleans emanating from Tropical Storm Lee. Here is the presage:

I predicted the levies would hold and I still say that will be the happy outcome. Even though I went on to say rains may also visit Houston, Tropical Storm Lee looks like it will slowly lurch towards the northeast and inject its tropical floods into a low pressure front that will carry its remains across the Atlantic states for what I predict will be another round of floods to rival Hurricane Irene’s visitation last week.

I am hopeful that Hurricane Katia will sharply turn towards the northeastern Atlantic and only reach out to brush the Atlantic states inundated by Irene with her tendril, nebulous fingers before brushing Nantuket Island for a heavier invasion of the Canadian Maritime provinces.

Now, what follows is the 26 August article with my inserts today in red:

We approach what may be the most volatile month of the year. My oracle calls it the month of seven seismic events. These are not just natural disasters of earthquakes and tsunamis. There will be quakes in human habit shaking the foundations of nations and economies.

Today I will briefly define each of them, but before we go forward into next month’s earth-shaking events, August still has some life in it as a month to remember in a year to remember that my oracle foresaw would experience the intensity of the quickening of climate change and history redoubled from intense 2010.

August started with the S&P depreciating US credit credibility, sparking a plunge in stock exchanges across the world. Rumbles of a default looming for Italy and Spain added more EU “eeeyoooos!” of market anguish.

Then came the mid-August economic yo-yos in global stocks rising and falling hundreds of points.

Then months of Syrian unrest escalated to what I will predict today is the Middle East’s second “Sunni Awakening” – though unlike what happened in Iraq. In Iraq, such a political awakening lead to a pacification of sectarian civil violence.

The Syrian Sunni majority is a sleeping giant finally mad as hell and not willing to take it anymore from a dictatorship run by the minority Shia Alawite clan of Bashar al-Assad. They take to the streets across the country now, bullets or no bullets pumped into their bodies by the Alawi controlled army and secret police stopping the momentum heading for a climax in September.

Then events in August played their astrologically prophetic part influenced by the year-defining square of Uranus in Aries 90 degrees Pluto in Capricorn that suddenly pulled down Muhammar Gaddafi’s regime in Tripoli, Libya.

The regime evaporated! The consequence of this is a classic Uranian aftermath: something murky and at any moment going to turn a topsy-turvy twist for unexpected good or evil. At the time of this writing Gaddafi is out of power, yet he commands diehard forces firing rocket-propelled ambushes in an urban guerrilla war in Tripoli.

Could any more volatility stimulate this most kick-backed of all summer months? In August, history habitually goes on vacation taking a summer break on the beach, working on that a tan and tank top or bikini Okie stripes.

Then the US eastern seaboard shook rattled and rolled from its first significant quake in 114 years, centered outside of Washington DC and felt across 22 states.

Church and State, Washington DC style, suffered symbolic phallic damage to match its leadership loss in credibility. The city’s main cathedral where heads of state pray and eulogize their departed and/or assassinated presidents got the heads of their shafted spires snapped off by the 5.8 temblor. Even Washington’s biggest marble wang, the Washington Monument, needs some structural engineered limestone Viagra to close a five-foot crack splitting its tip. No tourist will be climbing up this great white shaft. It will be closed indefinitely. If Hurricane Irene does not flatten its erection with her big blow, soon you will see this quasi-penile symbol of political power set in a sling of scaffolding and like the government it represents, it will become a political symbol of structural default needing repair.

The symbolic male member all cracked up. Now what more Mother Natured wickedness comes this way?

A feminine archetype to close August with perhaps the storm of a lifetime for 55 million people crowding the heavily populated coasts of North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and New England. Here comes Hurricane Irene to finish August off with a punctuation of natural catastrophe!

2011 – The Year of 12 Catastrophes
I think I first called 2011 the above on an appearance on Coast to Coast AM in April. Up to that point, each month in 2011 had endured one significant as well as historically unique economic, political or natural disaster that in any other normal year would be a year-defining annual event.

In January 2011, a great cyclone and monsoonal flood inundated Queensland and much of the eastern Australian outback. See Queensland flood.

In February, natural disasters swung into political disasters for dictators as the “Arab Spring” sprang, taking down Mubarak’s regime in Egypt, the most heavily populated and culturally influential Arab state. See Egyptian Revolution.

March endured the great Japanese quake, tsunami and resultant nuclear disaster at Fukushima. To me that is one disaster with three hydra-headed dimensions of catastrophe. See Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

On came April and a US tornado season that up to that time was unusually quiet. Suddenly it exploded into the most deadly outbreak of tornadoes in over 60 years, with EF 4 and 5 tornadoes a half mile in diameter killing hundreds of people especially in Alabama and also in Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Then came May and the historic floods rolling down the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers vying for first place in the disaster sweepstakes with the EF5 tornado that flattened Joplin Missouri. See Mississippi flooding.

Then came the climax of months of great fires in the US southwest and Florida along with a biblical, triple-digit heat wave spread across much of the central, southern and eastern United States in June. See heat wave 2011.

There is a crack running down the center of the Washington marble wong.

Then came July and the Watts-ington riot over lifting the debt ceiling – a purely man-made political-economic disaster that along with a looming banking crisis in the EU shook US credibility economically and may have started the Second Recession. See debt ceiling.

Now we are at the tale end of August and it would seem the trend for monthly unique and historic disasters is in a three-way competition between the S&P stock market plunges, the East Coast quake, or another welcomed dictator disaster with Gaddafi’s regime collapse in Libya. However, I think all of this could be shouted down by the shriek of hurricane winds and the thunderous breakers from storm surges flooding the east coast from North Carolina to Manhattan and Long Island New York. Hurricane Irene will be the eighth of 12 catastrophes coming in the year 2011.

UPDATE 03 September 2011: In my opinion Hurricane Irene did become catastrophe number 8. The flood waters in Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey are still ongoing to at last receding from their highest levels. Already with nearly 50 dead and counting, Irene has earned a birth in America’s top-ten most expensive natural disasters, with an estimated property loss of between 10 to 12 billion dollars.

Hurricane Irene is just the kind of storm I warned readers of my prophecies for 2010 and Predictions for 2011 would mark Mother Nature’s third world war on human abuse of the planet:

Mother Nature sent a message in 2010, a historic uptick of climate disasters with some significant earthquakes and tsunamis thrown in. But human beings in 2010 lent an ear and more credence to corporate fossil fuel funded propaganda campaigns. A comprehensive Pew poll released in October 2010 discovered only 57% of respondents think there’s evidence of warming (down from 71% in 2009 year), and just 36% think it’s because of human activity (down from 47%).

Indeed that trend will continue in 2011. The human race will descend into deeper denial of climate change just when the first signs of catastrophe draws near…

They will forget about 2010 when faced with even worse climate violence in 2011. They will simply blink at the new norm.

… In 2011, we enter year two of World War Three, Mother Nature’s war on us. This isn’t some pagan voodoo threat. The natural world is ill. It’s fighting back madder than ever in 2011. Her fevers will be hotter this coming spring and summer, her chills colder this winter, her flood of monsoon tears and cyclonic rages will redouble from what was seen in 2010.

The Final Chapter: Alarm Bells Sound the Unsustainable

The way this year is going, I wonder if more than 12 catastrophes are coming. I reflect upon this especially after regarding what upheavals could potentially come next month, September 2011. While writing the draft of this article yesterday, the producer of Coast to Coast AM phoned in inviting me to do a three-hour interview on the last night of this month (Wednesday 31 August) with George Noory on this very subject. What follows is a brief overview of what I am going to describe as September, the month of seven “temblors” or “quakes”. In effect there could be seven potential shakeups in politics, the Middle East and/or the global economy ending with a seventh and literal earthquake event at the end of the month that could rival March 2011’s Japanese quake and Pacific tsunami.

I caution that a majority of these shakeups are not so-called “acts of God” like real earthquakes and tsunamis, but acts of human lack of insight and outright stupidity, so these can be tempered down or altogether avoided if more consciousness, patience and understanding is applied. Astrologically speaking, September is once again overshadowed by a very powerful square of Uranus (ruler of revolution and chaos) with Pluto (ruler of generational ages, business, structure and when the degenerate — systemic failures). Both planets in square aspect continue moving backwards in the sky in retrograde motion at the start of September, meaning forward progress is difficult, though introspection into why things are breaking down is made easier. For those who are meditators, who follow the way of the subjective science of self-observation, retrogrades are a great opportunity to look in and understand how the mind, both the individual and collective mind in us, ticks or dysfunctions. However, in the outer world mechanically motivated by blind hubris and programmed habit, this aspect tends to trip up forward progress as it will do in the first half of September.

Then, on 16 September, Pluto (order and economy) takes the mass mind forward out of retrograde whilst Uranus (change and upheaval) remains moving backward on exactly the same day when Jupiter (ruler of higher mind and spirit or religious extremism) returns to its trine (harmonious aspect) with advancing Pluto. Expansive, big-picture loving Jupiter will stay in this trine through 2 December 2011.

Here is a rare moment when I can say something positive about cosmic forces that can aid those open to realizing intuitively what is wrong with the world and how to fix it. This is the force that can turn an American nightmare back into an American dream, if the polarized parties of the Left and Right can see their active part in ideological posturing. Capricorn is about getting down to brass tacks of reality. Structures that work. Engines of industry and politics that seek shared values rather than polarity.

Lord Buddha once said, “The Truth is that which works.”

Temblor tantrums of Mother Nature inundate Japan in March. Will there be more coming in September?

Jupiter transiting the sign of the new Aquarian Age, trined Pluto in Capricorn is showering down upon our heads, be they heads of states or yours or my noggin, that same message.

The truth is that which works.

Seek that truth, and the seven temblors potentially waiting for the world in September 2011 may be greatly modified.

Here they are:

Temblor One – The United Nations Declaring Palestine a State
The United Nations will hold its annual general assembly in September. A motion will be heard to have the entire assembly vote to declare Palestine a sovereign state. This would include lands disputed by Palestinians and Israel in the West Bank and East Jerusalem as well as the Gaza Strip. Such a vote could take place sometime after 13 September through 22 September.

Such a move to push Palestine into statehood reality, devil take the consequences, is typical of a Uranus square Pluto Square, pulling the rug out from under decades of political maneuvering and political foundations embarked since the end of the Persian Gulf War in 1991. The so-called roadmap to Israeli-Palestinian peace will reach a dead end, requiring a new path, or worse, the two nations drive off a cliff.

To what abyss in which the two nations might fall is uncertain. Uranus-Square-Pluto with Jupiter mitigating it by trining Pluto might conjure an unexpected positive result. The UN just declaring Palestine a state could nullifying a process that has been going basically nowhere since the late 1990s. It could force the governments of Israel and Palestine into a fast track peace process because of the consequences waiting in Temblor Six, below. Jupiter’s aid in Pluto until early December might bring a window in time for level headed people to come together now that a State of Palestine exists, to make it work because the alternative is too catastrophic to countenance.

UPDATE 03 September 2011: One of my facebook friends sent me an New York Times article from April this year (see New York Times) which reminds us that the UN Security Council must first offer a recommendation for Palestinian Statehood before the General Assembly can vote on that statehood. The US has no veto power in the General Assembly but could use its veto power to stop any recommendation coming from the Security Council. What indeed will President Obama advise his Ambassador to the UN to do? That will be the subject of a future article. There is a very dangerous but potentially historic opportunity to change the gestalt (the perception and reality) and bring peace or war into a fast track over the Palestinian question.

Temblor Two – The Euro Bank Crisis
One of the reasons why this smoldering shock to the world economy did not happen burst into flame in August is because it was “August” — the time Europeans, leaders and led, all generally put business on the shelf and go “out to lunch,” off the wagon and into vacation mode for a month.

Then September comes. The tanned come home from the French, Italian and Spanish Riveras, Biarritz, the sunny spots on Aegean islands. The bronzed procrastinators park their sailboats and suntan lotion returning to their offices and financial institutions where a big bad Euro ass-a-dragon banking crisis is poised, claws clenched, waiting.

Temblor Three – The Return of the Great Recession
In August I listened to the talking heads of Bloomsburg and CNBC have bobble headed ideas about there not being a second recession coming to the US. Part of the problem is they selectively ignore Europe in the equation of a potential US downturn. They selectively ignore the consequences of climate change undermining food prices with crop failures. They ignore the consequences of Hurricane Irene flooding New York and Wall Street. They will have to face these shocks in the aftermath of Irene, in September and factor them into their calculus.

Temblor Four – 2011 Hurricane Season Peaks
Hurricane Irene is the first of several large hurricanes about to visit the United States in a hurricane season that, like the historic tornado season, started quiet and came on late like Godzilla with a hemorrhoid.

In Predictions for 2011, my oracle voiced concern for the next hurricane hit coming around Labor Day in early September, which is the peak month for storms. Another threat spins towards New Orleans and perhaps Houston this time. The oracle was concerned for Haiti as well. The split of Uranus going backward as Pluto goes forward on 16 September makes the latter half of the month particularly violent in hurricane events for the Atlantic seaboard and the Gulf of Mexico all the way to floods and typhoons in China and Southeast Asia.

UPDATE 03 September 2011: Barack Obama exploited yesterday — the most quiet day in the sleepy summer news season — to announce he would not use his executive order powers to uphold EPA limits on air pollution between now and 2013. Once again he shows himself to be a tool of big business interests, a Neville Chamberlain of climate change appeasement, when it comes to forestalling the oncoming climate shift. He has doomed 2012 to be twice as violent in climate disaster as 2011, just so he can once again hope for concessions from the corporate world, that, like Hitler before them, they will not uphold in 2012.

The Atlantic Seaboard is still in the cross-hairs of new hurricanes, as is the Gulf, as is Houston and Haiti, as this following prediction from my e-book of last year warns:

Haiti, although you suffered heavy rains and cholera plagues in 2010, there was no vast hurricane “Katrina” blowing your tent cities to sea and bringing walls of water off the denuded mountains you raped from your Mother Earth for firewood. (Do I sound harsh? As long as we make apologies for stupidity, it will continue.)

People of Haiti, you won’t be spared in the Hurricane Season of 2011. You will be visited by Mother Nature’s call for help, screaming in the winds of tropical storms crowding the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean in such frequency and intensity not experienced since the catastrophic 2005 Hurricane Season that broke the levies of New Orleans and scrubbed the Mississippi coast down to house-foundation bone with Hurricane Katrina.

Houston, you will be visited. Your fields of refineries clutched, clawed by superstorm winds and oceanic surges. (Predictions for 2011)

Temblor Five – Syria in Urban Civil War
Gaddafi’s regime has fallen. Syria’s regime is next and it could come as soon as September or at least begin its collapse next month with all the politically earth shattering consequences to the Middle East in regards to religious civil conflict between the majority Sunni and minority Shia sects of Islam. The Alawi Shia regime is allied to the Persian Iranian Shia regime as conduit for money, weapons and thousands of Iranian-built missiles stockpiled north of the Israeli border in Lebanon by the Shia Hezbullah. The latter fired thousands of these rockets at Israel during the Lebanese War of 2006, the same month-long conflict wherein Hezbullah checked an Israeli counter attack into South Lebanon.

NATO may aid the fall of the al-Assad regime, like Gaddafi’s Libyan “Reich,” with air strikes logistically made possible by US military support. The Obama strategy worked in Libya. My oracle has said for months now that there could be military action in Syria. Perhaps it is coming in September. This leads to the next unnatural earthquake in the Middle East:

Temblor Six – A New Arab-Israeli War?
In Predictions for 2011, my oracle had boldly stated that peace between Arab and Israeli is closer than ever before since the Partition of Palestine in 1947 started the first of many wars to come that launched the creation of the Jewish State of Israel (1948) and the Palestinian diaspora. However, I have also reported over the years that there is still one big Arab-Israeli regional war left in the unsettled hearts of Middle Eastern Arab and Jew. This final catharsis of bloodletting may at last exhaust an altogether inhuman cancer of suppressed anger from the hearts of both. Then, as a consequence of one last and completely wasteful brawl, the next four years will see the clenched fists, exhausted at last, as cousin Jewish and Arab brothers and sisters who call Abraham their Semite ancestor, relax and sign a treaty of mutually assured survival and prosperity.

The push to UN sanctioned Palestinian Statehood could open the conflict with a Palestinian civil war. The jihadist leaning party of HAMAS controls the Gaza Strip. The secularist, conservative Fatah, controls the West Bank. A new Palestinian State would parallel the dysfunctional outcome of another partition from 1947, that of India into West Pakistan, India and East Pakistan.

Statehood brings and East (Fatah controlled West Bank) and a West (HAMAS controlled Gaza Strip) Palestine, with all the same consequences that brought a civil war in the early 1970s fought between East and West Pakistan.

Iran will side with HAMAS as they do not recognize Israel’s right to exist.

A collapse of Syria will isolate Iran’s other ally, Hezbullah, who might then, prompted by Iran, start a new Lebanese war with Israel, only this time with rockets that can reach all the way down range to Tel Aviv.

Israel will not reply to this war of several fronts with the restraint of the last 30 years.

They cannot.

One of the biggest shocks of 2011, may be a short, sharp and very violent Arab-Israeli War this September through October.

As I write this, Israel is preparing to call all military reservists on full-time duty this September. The blows in retaliation from Zion under Uranus-Squared-Pluto skies could be surprisingly decisive. This may include a full-scale urban battle to destroy HAMAS making the Gaza Strip the “Stalingrad” of the Middle East.

Then perhaps, they all can talk of peace.

Temblor Seven – Earthquakes caused by Comet Elenin
Comet Elenin slowly transits in and out of our Solar System between 2010 and 2012. In that process its approach and egress aligns with the Earth and the Sun five times. Three alignments have already taken place with historic seismic consequences to those living along the Pacific Ring of Fire, the most seismically active regions of Planet Earth that encompass the Eastern and Western coastlines of the Pacific Ocean. The first two seismic events took place on the exact same day of the alignment, the third just a day or so off but close enough to mark Elenin’s influence.

The first Elenin lineup “event” happened in the Southeastern edge of the Ring of Fire with the magnitude 8.8 Chilean Quake causing a Pacific-wide tsunami on 27 February 2010. Next, the 03 September 2010 alignment stirred a quake on the Southwestern part of the Rim, breaking up Christchurch, New Zealand in a 7.2 magnitude temblor. Then on 11 March 2011 the alignment saw quake activity move to the northwestern flank of the Pacific Rim with a magnitude 9.0 Japanese quake and Pacific-wide tsunami.

Elenin makes another alignment on 25 September.

One quadrant, the Northeastern, remains unvisited.

I do not rule out another quake hitting Japan, closer to Tokyo this time, but I am also most watchful of California for this round. I expect there will be a significant quake and possible tsunami along America and Canada’s quadrant of the Pacific Ring of Fire as Elenin makes its closest pass to Earth on its way towards a transit around the Sun.

I do not subscribe to the idiotic rants of end-of-the-world theorists one can watch on YouTube these days coming out of the mouths of Australian Larakins of the loon or “former NASA employees” who sound less like scientists and more like janitors employed by NASA who sniffed a little to much floor detergent before becoming the next Chicken Little.

You are not going to be able to reach out and touch Elenin as it goes by. I doubt you will be able to see its smudge in the sky with a naked eye as it will pass dozens of millions of miles away from us in its flyby. Still, with that said, there IS something about the force of gravity we do not yet understand that has more to it than the mere pull of mass influencing our planet and our lives. Three seismic hits out of five is already something more than chance. Further seismic events, will not cause an end the world, but they may end the hubris of “Scientism” that does not question theories about gravity or open its mind to what Astrologers have known, even though they as yet do not have the scientific evidence to prove it. The he stars and planets, like our full Moon, exert subtle influence in our unconsciously lived lives.

UPDATE: 03 September 2011: There are signs that Comet Elenin may be breaking up as the Sun’s gravitational pull and solar flares fry and stress its unheavenly dust-and-ice-ball body. Perhaps there be a reprieve from earthquakes and tsunamis on 25 September and then later at the end of November? Deep down, I will admit to this prescient hope, that Elenin will only be good 3 out of 5 line-ups for seismic activity. We will write more about this later in September.

Nostradamus is famous for his technological prophecies. It is believed he foresaw the invention of submarines (iron fish), air fleets guided through the heavens by pilots masked in snout-like oxygen masks he called half-pig men. He foresaw radio and telecommunications, the atomic bomb and accurately calculated the orbital distance of Space Station Alpha to Earth’s surface. Nostrtadamus also forecast the triumphs and tragedies of the US space agency, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) over four centuries before it existed.

There are so many current events reverberating in prophecy these days, what with Syrian rebellions, the looming Deficit deadline and a historic, lingering heat wave affecting hundreds of millions of North Americans. They all demand a comment. I will be introducing Nostradamus’ fire in the sky prophecies this weekend when the heat wave is at its peak, but first, I would like to cover a current event that has far more long-range historic influence on the future. I would like to talk about a lost decade in Space that began overnight with the landing of the last US Space Shuttle mission at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

It seems that the mainstream news has not yet picked up on the irony of the final shuttle’s name as it floats into floodlights out of the darkness like a pale and re-entry singed and smoking ghost to alight gently on the tarmac, soon to be rolled into a museum, forever. It is named after a continent that myth tells us catastrophically sank overnight into the ocean.

Space Shuttle Atlantis meets the Lost Continent of Atlantis, a fabled realm that purportedly sustained an advanced society in pre-historic times that were at least as technologically advanced as our modern civilization. They invented submarines and flew through the skies. Some New Ager mythologists advance Atlanteans to the level of space travelers who interfaced and intermarried with extraterrestrials.

Medium and author Ruth Montgomery believed that Americans have a special karmic link to Atlanteans. Indeed Americans are, according to her often prophetically accurate Spirit Guides, reincarnated Atlanteans facing the same collective karmic lessons the Atlanteans failed to learn. We new Atlanteans have harnessed the same technological advances and powers and have grown prideful and arrogant as in the past. Like in our past lives of high consumption of the earth’s resources on our crowded island continent in the mid-Atlantic, our wisdom did not keep pace with our earth-unfriendly technological advances. Our great Crystal-Solar arrays powering ships, submarines and aircraft were turned into weapons of mass solar destruction. Many of the most ancient annals and scriptures (see Mahabharata) describe wars in far off antiquity waged with a kind of rod or scourge that created atomic detonations and what sound like radioactive fallout.

The story goes that Atlantis sank into to ocean in one terrible night because of the misuse of ancient technology by those who, like us, have lost our connection with wisdom’s balance and no longer harmonize with this world and Nature.

There is still hope that we new Atlanteans will not overturn our world and sink our civilization; however, those of you in the eastern half of the country sitting next to the moan and rumble of your air conditioners that may switch off in brownouts, look out of your windows at the heat coming out of your skies. The new Atlanteans have upset the climate’s balance because of breathtaking technological advances at the price of denying thoughts and feelings of earth-harmony left far, far behind.

The evil Atlantean who was de-fleshed had a skeleton with a detachable skull cap -- like the ones you find in a high school biology class. Ah, low budget movies, lol!

All agree on one thing, from the Hopi to Noah and all world death and rebirthing prophetic traditions: the last world that died and was reborn, the world that drowned Atlantis, was destroyed by a great flood.

The next world is scorched and purified by fire and the Hopi date this great purification to happen starting here and now in this new decade.

Just what kind of fire, be it the fires of awakened consciousness or global warming gone out of control is up to the new Atlanteans to make so by their present actions.

The Space Shuttle Atlantis last night came in for a landing with a destiny to become a museum piece. The era of the Space Shuttle after three decades is history. With it, goes American exceptionalism in space travel, some say. This morning 3,000 NASA contractors in Houston Texas got their pink slips, joining the 10,000 plus pink slip holders of another dying industry going on the dole when over 300 Borders Book Stores closed their doors forever the day Atlantis landed.

Though the cretaceous dead-tree book business still has one bookstore chain left (Barnes and Noble) a national, government run, space agency beyond NASA does not exist. I have a good source at Cape Canaveral who I will keep undisclosed. Back in 2009, he made a telling observation about the men and women behind launching US astronauts into space. For the weeks he worked there, it seemed to him that no NASA engineer was younger than himself, in his mid-fifties. A lot were far older and geriatric even, with heads of hair as grey as the first lunar dust Aldrin and Armstrong brought back from the first moon landing. If my source is accurate, it is a sign of tech species extinction, or, playing a variation on the launch countdowns of the glory days of the Moon race: “T Minus two years and counting to, dodo lift off.”

The good news is, the few younger men and women who kept on learning in college how to be engineers rather than stock brokers have been steadily leaving the dinosaur-like skeletal relics of Cape Canaveral rocket gantries for careers in private sector space industries. Big Space dies while little furry mammals creepeth and crawleth for investment R and D to nourish a pink litter of little space companies, mostly for now interested in launching well healed corporate tourists for a fleeting glimpse of the cosmos — sort of like safaris in space habitat.

It is doubtful that America will ever lead the way to the cosmos any time soon, some say at least for a decade, because like it or not, some projects, like mooning in space — going to the moon, that is — take the wealth of a nation directed by its political leadership to achieve. Something like the US-Soviet space race in the 1960s is too big an epic for one entrepreneur to afford. What is the profit in it? Yet, many a private contractor and entrepreneur directly enjoys the technological spin-offs of the Space Race. For instance, you are reading off one of those gifts, the computer screen or cell phone, and these products along with many other space race related articles, make beaucoup bucks for a lot of people, or allow you and me to make a living via these mediums.

Big Government efforts in space paid off big. Now that is over with Atlantis dropping out of the sky.

The Chinese government will prove what I am saying once again by putting its tax revenues into its own solo race to the Moon in this decade. They will gain the bounty of spin-off technological advances.

By decade’s end, Americans will have another Sputnik teaching moment when the Chinese red flag is planted on lunar dirt, but with a big difference. Back when the Soviets beat Americans to launching satellites like Sputnik in earth orbit at a time the initially lagging US space program was in its can do youthfulness and the country was interested, engaged and inspired. There was a political will supporting, the government of Eisenhower, then Kennedy, who were both able to lead and rightfully direct talent and resources to the challenges of the great Space Race. They came from behind and got to the Moon first.

It started last night with the final descent of Atlantis into the darkness of memory: Americans have lost space momentum perhaps for a decade. The Sputnik moment of a Chinese moon landing will have them return years from now to a rusting and neglected, publicly funded space age infrastructure, drained of brains gone elsewhere.

I predict that our astrophysicists and engineers will keep flying billionaires into space safaris or find gainful employment off shore in the Indian, Chinese and European space agencies. There will be no Eisenhower or Jack Kennedy to inspire a New Frontier in space. Obama the “Spock” (his favorite Star Trek character) ain’t no trail blazing Capt. Kirk. He has logically surrendered US leadership in Space to others, letting NASA for the first time let a primary delivery system for US interests in space exploration expire without a backup already in place.

Obama is no Jack Kennedy when it comes to inspiring his people to explore space. Indeed if JFK was BO, he would have let the Mercury Program end with a three to five year gap before Gemini, then a three to five year gap before launching Apollo… Moreover, the Russians would be on the Moon.

Now, if Americans want to get to Space Station Alpha, they will have to hitch a $30 million dollar ride on a Russian Soyuz spaceship for the next five years as no clear and defined goal or Kennedyesque vision is forthcoming from the cerebral Star-Trek-struck president who would be Spock. He, like the rest of America in my generation grew up watching real space exploration on television. Now, it seems Americans, including this president, would rather watch fake space exploration on television with fake space ships using fake computer graphically enhanced space drives making first contact with fake extraterrestrials on fake worlds.

Americans, your astronauts are actors now and space travel is for the birds and billionaires on holiday. When China will begin building bases on the moon and mining Helium 3 to power their fusion reactors programs in the late 2020s, Americans may have let a decade of momentum be lost like Atlantis in the labyrinth of a museum.

Is this Ameri-can’t future what you want?

The current state of big US space endeavors makes me wonder who was inside the space suit Nostradamus’ inner eye back in the 16th century may have ogled with disbelief, whilst sniffing sulfuric fumes sitting on his brass tripod like an Oracle of Delphi in a prophetic trance. Was the man in the following verse in question an American or from China?

He will come to take himself to the corner of the Moon,
Where he will be taken and placed on alien land,

Great blame, to the other great praise.

I used to think this surprisingly un-nebulous prophecy for Nostradamus was about two US astronauts landing on the Moon 42 years ago on 20 July 1969 at 20:17:39 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). By the way, Atlantis fell out of the sky for a glider landing to mothballs touching down exactly on 21 July 2011 (09:57 UTC) — that is just shy of 14 hours after the 42nd anniversary of the Apollo moon landing.

Now I am not so sure it is only about Americans on the Moon because of the first word Nostradamus uses, dedans. The use of dedans leaves open the linguistic possibility for a return of a man to the moon in the 21st century. In other words, once man was taken to Luna he will later take himself within the corner of the Moon. Humanity is not just putting footprints on alien land, they will dig into it, mine it, and construct a moon base that alien land will cover to keep its inhabitants safe from lethal space born radiation unfiltered by a lunar vacuum. That first lunar base may be crewed by Chinese astronauts.

The last two lines of this quatrain have many layers of meaning. The first layer implies unripe fruit to mean flaws in solid rocket boosters rushed to Cape Canaveral without thorough checking that had the Space Shuttle Challenger blow itself to bits after engine throttle up, 73 seconds after takeoff in January 1986. This caused great scandal for NASA and to the Soviets great praise for their plodding space program and ongoing construction of the Space Station Mir while US astronauts were grounded for years.

The next layer of meaning may mark the next Space Shuttle disaster caused by Nostradamus once again using metaphors of nature to describe odd shaped fruit-like inventions, such as the large, straight banana-like main fuel tank colored like an orange fruit in orange foam rubber on the last launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia in February 2003. A big slab of foam ripped off the tank, crashing into the shuttle’s wing at lift off. The unnoticed gaping hole in the wing caused the space ship and its crew to break up and burn like a falling comet during re-entry.

Once again, NASA and the US space program were grounded by tragedy and scandal. Yet, the Russians, to great praise, kept human space exploration alive shuttling astronauts, including Americans, to Space Station Alpha until the US fruit was ripe again.

Now we face the final layer of unripeness. The fruit of a new space delivery system is not even in seed. Unripe? Unplanted or planned. There is no clear shuttle replacement. This may be cause for the greatest space scandal yet coming from a lack of American vision and leadership. This time great praise to the other will go to the Chinese waving to the cameras on the moon by decade’s end.

PAS — (Post Apocalyptic Statement)
The next blog will be posted this weekend at the peak of one of the worst heat waves in human recorded history baking and buckling roads across two-thirds of the United States. Added to the horror of this angry message from Nature on the warpath with our bad habits is the added pain that only an atmosphere undergoing global warming can bring to heat waves. Hotter climates absorb more evaporated moisture, just like the air you experience in a greenhouse trapping the sun’s heat, makes a glass house feel close and sometimes oppressive inside. The global greenhouse effect will pump more moisture into worldwide heat events. The rising dew points of humidity increase the heat index. It may be 100 degrees Fahrenheit in places like Philadelphia and New York today, yet it feels like between 110 or 117 degrees on your skin.

My prophecies for 2010 and forecasts for 2011 e-books forecasted a two-year temperature tsunami coming from a planetary eco-system that has declared war on humanity’s abuse. In the effort to restore balance to the world, Mother Nature will violently shift from shivering winters of record snows to the kind of apocalyptic heat waves you are right now suffering in places like the Midwestern, southern and Atlantic United States.

Here again is what I said about it, long before it happened. In these visions are 2011′s great forest and brush fires of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida. In these oracular musings are the monster floods of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, the droughts and sun baked crop failures of Texas, and the Midwest. In these words, written in the first quote over a year and a half ago and in the second six months ago is the scorched earth heat wave now visiting a message to hundreds of millions of American.

The message is, wake up, return balance to your lives or suffer the consequences. If I would amend the classic TV commercial when Mother Nature suddenly gets grumpy I would have her say, “It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature”:

Starting the year 2010 into 2011, Mother Earth is about to declare worldwide war on us. She will fight us on the oceans with weapons of typhoon and hurricane. She will invade our beaches with rising oceans. She will bombard us with heated atmosphere and withhold the rains to water our fields of grain to deny her enemy sustenance. She will pull back her glaciers, withdraw and deny us her rivers. She will set in motion a scorched earth policy. Ignite her forests afire to burn us out. She will decimate our exploding and rapacious populations that covet and denude every arable acre, suck every last fresh water drop and befoul every last cubic inch of her fresh air. We drive her mad with climate fevers and she attacks.

There’s a war on. A war against stupid.

In 2011, we enter year two of World War Three, Mother Nature’s war on us. This isn’t some pagan voodoo threat. The natural world is ill. It’s fighting back madder than ever in 2011. Her fevers will be hotter this coming spring and summer, her chills colder this winter, her flood of monsoon tears and cyclonic rages will redouble from what was seen in 2010.

Black fire flashing in his eyes, President Obama late night addressed his nation and confirmed in action what my oracle had foreseen and anticipated 21 months ago, even though it long remained a lone prescient voice in a wilderness of future gazers who just did not believe Obama meant what he said. Well, he does mean what he said about withdrawing US troops from Afghanistan, starting next month, July 2011 and by the time July 2012 comes around he pledged that 33,000 US soldiers will leave Afghanistan. My oracle believes that number will be far higher as we will see.

Lex, the web master of the Coast to Coast AM, produced this concise and comprehensive overview of the subjects George Noory and I tackled the night before in a radio show broadcast across North America (click on Coast to Coast AM)

“Appearing during all 4 hours of the show, prophecy scholar and expert on Nostradamus, John Hogue discussed his predictions for 2009, the future of the economy and the Obama presidency, and also touched on Nostradamus’ writings about the Antichrist. In reviewing some of his previously published predictions for 2009, Hogue reported that he’d been accurate about foreseeing Obama handling three international crises by the early spring, and that the new Republican Party chairman would be an African American.

“Obama will be a two-term president, but he won’t come into his own until his second term, when he’ll evolve from being an agent of compromise to fighting to change the system, Hogue stated… The war in Afghanistan will turn into a quagmire, like Iraq was to the Bush administration, and the US will disengage from the conflict sometime between 2010 – 2013, he predicted.

ASSESSMENT
If you link to that archived show you will hear me tell George Noory that Obama would initiate a troop surge of 40,000 soldiers but he would put an 18 month deadline on the troop surge and begin pulling US forces out of Afghanistan. It is important to remember that when I said this in early September 2009, Obama was months away from deciding on the troop surge. There was no talk of a deadline until he later announced his plans in December of 2009 to put an 18-month deadline on the surge securing Afghanistan amounting to an added 33,000 US and 8,000 NATO troops (40,000 in all).

In a blog posted 8 October 2009, click on Afghanistan War, I made the following observation based on a prediction signed off nearly 9 months earlier on 24 January 2009, see italics:

The future historians will tell you what I say now: America lost the war in Afghanistan at the Battle of Tora Bora. If Obama is seduced into thinking by a blast of CEOs-in brass at the Pentagon that he can win what was lost by digging in deeper into that broken chaos of a corruptly ungovernable country, he will fulfill my warning passed for the prophetic record in Predictions for 2009 [published on 24 January 2009]:

I see in Obama a Kennedy-like obsession about going into Afghanistan and perhaps even Pakistan to hunt down Usama bin Laden…

Is that sign of blunder coming to test Obama’s first year in office?

Yes! Mars passes through Cancer from 8/26/09 to 10/17/09.

We wait to see if Obama will Kennedy or L. B. Johnson himself into his own ill-aspected Mars in Cancer Vietnam. (The Gulf of Tonkin Incident in 1964 under Johnson’s watch, which became grounds for the Vietnam War, happened under the same [astrological] aspect.) The other recourse is to ignore the rush of war and visualize Obama begin a methodical strategic retreat that will see US involvement in Afghanistan all but end in the next three years.

I am of the oracular mind that Obama will dramatically increase US military involvement for a time much shorter than the Pentagon chiefs want in hopes of dramatically seeking out and destroying al-Qaeda, even though it is no longer strategically significant and could very well be the cause of the collapse of Pakistan as I warned in Predictions for 2009.

ASSESSMENT
Obama did make his momentous decision to surge troops into Afghanistan during the Mars in Cancer transit; however, he is on record being mindful of the mistakes of Johnson in Vietnam and has said he would not keep US forces trapped in a strategically untenable situation. Though most news network talking expert heads dismissed this possibility for the next 18 months of a serious withdrawal, my oracle did not.

The oracle’s views were reflected in prophecies for 2010 signed off on 1 November 2009:

1 November 2009
Afghanistan under Obama is little different in popular opinion than Afghanistan under eight years of Bush indecision. The country wants the troops home, however Obama seems poised to listen to the brass and bemedaled Pentagon CEOs of the military industrial complex who want to keep the war business there going on. He’s sending a lot more troops soon, unless I’ve happily misread my oracle.

ASSESSMENT
A month later, on 2 December 2009, Obama announced his troop surge in Afghanistan in a speech held at the US Military Academy at West Point. In the next passage my oracle anticipated in detail the surge, the number of NATO and US troops in the surge, the record combat casualties to come in 2010, the bloodiest losses in the war so far, and the timeline for surge troop withdrawals to begin 18 months later (July 2011):

When Obama reads about the mistakes of Vietnam he should avoid turning Afghanistan into his own “Vietnamistan” by enabling what President Kennedy planned but Vice President Johnson ignored. Kennedy had the intestinal and strategic fortitude to plan a withdrawal from South Vietnam and cut US losses early in his second term. Assassination and Johnson’s ascent to the presidency ended that plan. Johnson poured in more troops and there we have his cautionary tale. If Obama isn’t careful, all of his good will, political capital and dreams of changing America will be squandered in an obsession of deeper involvement in Afghanistan. Obama’s change revolution undermined just like Johnson’s Great Society.

Beware of it in 2010 Mr. Obama because I know you will raise US troop involvement in Afghanistan to its highest level. You will endure tolls of American dead and wounded per month as high as the Iraq Occupation at its peak. I also discern with oracular help that you have bargained with the Pentagon to affect a compromise strategy. The generals prevailed upon you to receive their 40,000-troop increase, but you will counter putting the surge on a short time leash of 18 months. If Afghani urban civilian populations aren’t protected and their infrastructure improved, if the endemic corruption of Afghani government isn’t hosed down to a tolerable stink. If moderate Taliban supporters don’t have a “Taliban awakening” akin to the Sunni awakening, the true source of the Iraqi Surge success, if Taliban and al-Qaeda bases aren’t closed and cratered by the Pakistanis, then President Obama, you will pull all US troops out of Afghanistan in time for the 2012 presidential elections

ASSESSMENT
The final lines above give glimpse to the future after July 2011. At the time of this assessment (23 June 2011), there are hopeful signs of negotiations between the warring Pashtun factions: the Karzai Regime US forces prop up talking with elements of the Taliban insurgency leadership. I do foresee a political solution coming in the wake of troop withdrawals that will precipitate more troops leaving Afghanistan than announced yesterday by President Obama in his current time table: 10,000 by autumn 2011 followed by another 22,000 by Summer 2012. My oracle commented on this possibility while enlarging its vision when I signed off on the following prophecies for 2011 on 21 December 2010:

21 December 2010:
Obama will make 2011 the year of “terrible twos” for his liberal and antiwar base. He’ll try to win Republican favor by extending the Bush tax cuts another two years. He will announce that the deadline to begin combat troop withdrawal in Afghanistan set for July 2011 will be pushed back two years. A date for ending the war pushed two years after that to 2014.

(Let me state for the premonitory record: this isn’t what will really happen. These pledges of intent by the president are “just words”. He will begin the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan in July 2011. Moreover, Iraq will be emptied of all but around 15,000 military advisors by the end of 2011.)

…What will happen in Afghanistan in 2011?

I’ve predicted for a while now that tribal solutions between Taliban and Hamid Karzai-leaning Pashtuns is the only potentially positive solution. Obama will bust a Nixon-in-Vietnam move. He’ll cut losses declaring “Peace with Honor”. The Pashtuns will then bring back what was once called the “national covenant” that had ended with the deposing of the Afghan king by Soviet forces invading Afghanistan in 1979. The covenant will return by 2012 as a frail political creature, a loose association of tribal leaders ruling like warlords and mafia bosses in a patchwork kingdom with a weak federal center, granting strong autonomy to tribal warlords.

I will close this review of prophetic successes with a review of my interpretation of a Nostradamus prophecy about the advent of a “Black King” who I believed is America’s first African American President destined to take troops into Pakistan and kill a top candidate for Nostradamus’ third Antichrist, Osama bin Laden. The segment is from Nostradamus and the Antichrist Code Named: Mabus (see the e-book, click on Nostradamus). This passage is one of the earliest oracular assessments I recorded about a game-changing event in the Afghanistan conflict, the killing of Usama bin Laden on the ground in Pakistan by US Special Forces. I wrote this in the summer of 2008 publishing it at the end of September 2008. Note the passage in red:

A right interpretation depends on divining who is the subject of these vague third person personal and possessive pronouns. Play with it in French and the anagram Alus sanguinaire (Bloody Alus) becomes L’USA sanguinere (the bloody USA). Le noir (the black) may be an anagram for le roi n(oir): “the black king.” Earlier interpretations had a black robed Shia cleric of Iran or Iraq who makes the angry one, such as Saddam Hussein, repent; however, if this applies literally to an African American future president, then it might describe Barack Obama’s Iraq policy in future action.

The Greek Meso (between) potamia (two rivers) is Iraq geographically defined as the land between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. This round of interpretation presumes President Bush the angry one made to repent his invasion of Iraq by Obama who pulls out combat troops in the first 16 months of his presidency. Another candidate for angry one is Usama bin Laden who will repent ordering al-Qaeda to infiltrate Iraq during the Bush administration. The Black president (king) will increase US forces in Afghanistan, killing or capturing Usama in a military incursion into Pakistan

History quickens again, especially in natural disasters. In the year of the 12 great catastrophes — one at least per month — it is hard to decide which historic event will win this dubious sweepstakes in June. Will it be the Arizona Wallow Fire, the state’s greatest fire in recorded history? Should we consider the “fire in the skies” of prolonged record-breaking heat waves across much of the southern and eastern portions of America? The 12,000 people of Minot, North Dakota, who must evacuate their flooding city? Shall we give the reward to the great volcanic eruption two weeks ago of Puyehue, the Chilean volcano, now sending an ash cloud a second time around the Southern Hemisphere disrupting flights in and out of Australia and New Zealand and covering wide areas of Chile and Argentina in ash?

Gaddafi.

I live in the Pacific Northwest on an Island that has the chief base of all US Navy EA-18G Growler airborne electronic attack aircraft squadrons. For the last several days the skies have shook with the low-frequency growl of squadrons practicing their deadly trade, to radar jam and destroy air defense radar installations. On Thursday afternoon, I listened to them make their loudest passes above leaden rain soaked skies, then the thunder of jet engines turned east and faded away.

On Friday the skies were empty of growling jets when the United Nations Security Council in far off New York City voted to approve Resolution 1973. It is a No Fly Zone over Libyan airspace with an added and ominous caveat: the UN military coalition will have zero tolerance of any further attacks and massacres by Dictator Muhammar Gaddafi’s forces against Libyan civilians. The international resolution, ironically numbered after the year of the last large-scale Arab-Israeli conflict, the Yom Kippur War, gives a wide open and legal option to turn No Fly into No Drive zones for Gaddafi’s armored tank columns heading into the southern suburbs of Benghazi.

The French Air force today (Super Full Moon Saturday) promptly entered Libyan airspace taking out a half dozen Libyan Army tanks and shooting down a Libyan MIG jet on a bombing run over Benghazi. At the moment I am writing this, six US Navy warships have unloaded a volley of Tomahawk cruise missiles blossoming flashes of fire and death on the full moonlit Libyan air defense installations and air strips outside of Gaddafi’s stronghold, the capital Tripoli.

A gathering of UN coalition air assets converges on Libyan airspace, including what I assume where squadrons of Growlers I heard practicing over my home all this week. US President Barack Obama starting with statements on Friday continues Saturday to stretch the objectives of UN Resolution to include regime change. After degrading Gaddafi’s air and sea defense systems, after leaving his tanks a melting blazing column of ruin on the roads to Benghazi, the flying death of robotic warheads will most surely seek and destroy the Libyan regime’s command and control centers.

The air hunt for Gaddafi is on. This leads me to wonder if at this moment a prophecy penned four-and-a-half centuries ago by the French seer Nostradamus may be weeks, days or moments from fulfillment. Nostradamus’ prophecies most often see the future through the actions of his future countrymen and women of France, so the following prophecy has a very good chance for being applied to a target of future French air forces allied to a coalition of other European, US and Arab League air forces converging over Libya.

Century 6 Quatrain 34 in Nostradamus’ Les Propheties states:

Du feu volant la machination,
Viendra troubler au grand chef assiegez:
Dedans sera telle sedition,
Qu’en desespoir seront les profligez.

From the machine of flying fire,
It will come to trouble the besieged chief:
Within there will be such sedition,
That the dissolute ones will be in despair.

Line 1 describes as best a 16th-century prophet sitting on a brass tripod in his secret study under the influence of a trance vision of an alien mechanism of deadly flight, such as a jet or a cruise missile tearing through Libyan skies. Line 2 a besieged terrorist chief, perhaps Muhammar Gaddafi of Libya, faces a high-tech apocalypse as retribution for 42 years of terrorizing his own people and being a haven for terrorist activity that has often been the topic of Nostradamus’ prophecies about a North African base threatening Italy and France with a new breed of futuristic Barbary Piracy.

Rather than hijacking 16th-century Christian ships and raiding Christian ports, the future Islamic pirates hijack planes and set off bombs in Europe. For four decades, Gaddafi’s Libya was a base for such modern secular and jihadist Islamic pirates. Now half his people in the East have rebelled. A full-scale civil war is on and international powers in America, Europe and in the Arab Middle East (including Qatar, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates) have picked sides against him. Gaddafi is now besieged and cornered. Perhaps the quatrain’s line extends to the near future when rebel forces under the protective umbrella of the UN No Fly Zone make their advance down roads littered with bombed and strafed Libyan army APCs, tanks, artillery and vehicles to liberate Ajdabya, al-Brega, Misrata, Az Zawiyah and at last laying siege on Tripoli itself.

Lines 3 and 4 paint Nostradamus’ entranced picture of the aftermath. This is the beginning, not the end of the Libyan Civil War and its bloodiest days are ahead. The line describes the oncoming sedition and civil war to come. Perhaps Libya may unravel and become a failed state wherein al-Qaeda and other terrorist cells might flourish once the profligate, dissolute and wantonly bloodthirsty Gaddafi is gone. Then again, the seditionists may be the Libyans fighting for their freedom. One might hope that.

Nostradamus predicted the violent end of Gaddafi and his son, as I explained in my 22 February article Nostradamus and the Fate of Gaddafi: here are some passages again with my assessments from today (19 March 2011):

I predict Gaddafi is going down violently, like Ceausescu in 1989, “Romanian-style”. The question is, how long will it take and how bloody will it be?

The fall in late 1989 of the East German Communist regime Erich Honeker regime in East Berlin caused a regional chain reaction across Eastern Europe with communist dictatorships falling mostly with a whimper except one: the eccentric strongman Nicolae Ceausescu of Romania, every inch as daffy a dictator as Gaddafi. Relinquish power? Only over his dead body, like Gaddafi threatens today.

I predict Gaddafi and his son and successor Saif al-Islam (Sword of Islam) will die like Ceausescu, but unlike the Romanian bloodbath, it may not end the relatively brief fighting in the streets. Conflict could be protracted. Gaddafi may be dead soon but the fighting will not end with his life like Ceaucescu. It may only be the beginning of fighting between Libyans unless the same allies setting up a no-fly zone step in for a generation’s time to help them build a modern democratic nation.

At the time of this writing [22 February 2011 -- just four days short of a month of the current update], Gaddafi and his tribal allies in the secret police and armed forces are ruthlessly liquidating rebels in Tripoli while air strikes on Benghazi continue.

I predict Gaddafi intends to launch his heavily armored forces against Benghazi, the heart of the revolution.

During the first heady weeks of the opposition’s rebellion when the entire eastern half of Libya broke free of the regime and large towns even in the West and populations inside Tripoli itself were demonstrating and fighting for their freedom, gaining ground, this prediction seemed unlikely. But the message of my oracle was loud and clear, if unchecked, Gaddafi could and would seize Benghazi and crush the rebellion. The future timeline that would have triggered into action is too terrible to countenance. Gaddafi’s counter-revolution would have sent a signal to all other tyrants and autocrats in the Arab world and in Iran to fire upon and liberally massacre their people seeking democracy. Though the help of the world from the sky has come two weeks late, it may give the Benghazi based rebellion a fighting chance.

Gaddafi pays for an unknown number of ruthless sub-Saharan mercenaries numbering 7,000 operatives, including tank and armored units in what is known as Gaddafi’s Pan Islamic Legion. I sense because of his dwindling support from the Warfallah, he is calling in favors from many more guerilla and terrorist forces across Africa whose insurrections he bankrolled for four decades. These gathering mercenary forces flying in by transport are the spear point of a planned strike on Eastern Libya. It is because of them and the atrocities to come that Gaddafi will soon lose support from all of his people — East and West Libyans — and come to bloody ruin.

Gaddafi’s atrocities shocked and united the world against him. The United Nations Security Council enacted with breathtaking speed Resolution 1973. Less than a half a day afterwards, air forces of France patrol and protect Benghazi, drilling with their missiles Libyan tanks firing on the city. After dusk and after an unusually large full moonrise, a barrage of 110 US tomahawk cruise missiles pounded Libyan air defense and air force assets taking out 50 percent of them in the first volley. Tomorrow, I expect the other half will lay in smoldering ruin from the next Tomahawk strike. The world is at war against Gaddafi. I believe his West-Libyan tribal alliances will eventually be undermined. He will then come to bloody ruin.

A few days ago, some of you wrote in about the following prediction I made in a 3 March 2011 article entitled Climate Change, Libya and Living Free of the Future. In it, I sent a rather harsh and castigating prediction about how there would be no No Fly Zone to save the undisciplined, leaderless rabble fighting against Gaddafi’s modern and armed-up forces.

I said it at the beginning of the Libyan Revolution and I say it again, as a compassionate warning to the revolutionaries in the eastern coastal cities of Libya, such as Benghazi: Gaddafi will launch an offensive on you. It will happen this month, and you people of Benghazi will need to get yourself organized or by April, you will have Gaddafi’s tanks shooting you point blank in your streets. You will have your beach side demonstrations strafed by Gaddafi’s Tripolian and Algerian pilots in jets and attack helicopters.

Listen well; there will be no “No Fly Zone“ organized by the US Navy or the NATO air forces flying across the Mediterranean from Italy. That simply will not happen as long as you continue to be a leaderless circus in the streets, playing with your rusting, second hand tanks, and shooting off into the air magazine after wasted magazine of your secondhand anti-aircraft guns for the entertainment of brave Ben Wederman’s CNN cameras.

You need to organize.

Undisciplined revolutions of leaderless masses never succeed. And many an organized revolution can also succumb to a tyrannical state, initially caught off guard, but soon finding its savage footing and take aim, putting fire and chemical weapons on the cities and towns of rebels.

I am happy to announce that I was wrong about the No Fly Zone. It WAS enacted despite the fact that the rebellion remains a rabble rag-tag army and leaderless. I do not take back the rest of what I said. Undisciplined revolutions of leaderless masses never succeed and that future is still possible for the Libyan rebellion.

I love being wrong about the no fly zone. Now there is a chance that this military and humanitarian assistance can turn the tables on a number of old and bad karmic legacies of Western powers who have preached democracy but supported autocratic dictators like Gaddafi who oppress their peoples since the end of the First World War and the rise of Western civilization’s thirst for Arab oil. In my forecasts for 2010 and prophecies for 2011 I have been compelled to record my oracle’s strong vision that a sudden and very positive turnaround is about to happen in the Middle East that could end a US burden of occupying Iraq and Afghanistan.

There is a potential turn of history’s tide in the next four to five years. My oracle showed me this outcome. Now we must recognize and nourish building the bridge to that hopeful tomorrow that may isolate and negate an Iranian threat of war, see Prime Minister Netanyahu make a bold diplomatic outreach to his Arab neighbors rivaling that of Nixon and Kissinger with the Chinese and Soviets in their trilateral diplomacy of the early 1970s. Palestinian-Israeli peace could be close at hand, closer than at any time in a half-century of strife despite the current upheavals in the Arab world. I wrote a whole chapter about Israel’s key role in that future in the chapter Giving Peace a Chance in Palestine, Giving War a Chance with Iran in Predictions for 2011.

Century 6 Quatrain 34 may anticipate a future machine of flying fire targeting the reinforced bunker suspected of protecting Gaddafi, his son Saif and their commanders. During the coming days or weeks an Allied bombing campaign will see Gaddafi move around the suburbs of Tripoli like a petty political exile, sleeping in safe houses like Saddam Hussein of Iraq was forced to do during the Gulf War of 1991. Unfortunately for the Iraqi people, their dictator survived the Allied onslaught and successfully crushed the two civil wars that followed in Kurdish Northern and Shi’ite Southern Iraq. Perhaps the machines of flying fire will get off a luckier shot at Gaddafi and his death by aerial attack either inside a reinforced bunker or by a lucky missile shot through the fabric of his Bedouin tent.

Those who have read my book on Nostradamus’ third antichrist Mabus or my evolving vision about President Obama in Predictions for 2010 and Predictions for 2011 see a developing interpretation of a future wherein Barack Obama successfully kills a key terrorist leader. He achieves this either with a “machine of flying fire” (missile) launched from a spy drone or cruise missiles fired from jets, ships or submarines. In that train of evolving interpretation of Nostradamus, I leaned towards Obama’s Administration an escalating drone attacks after coming to power on al-Qaeda and Taliban bases in Western Pakistan. Although that part of my forecast did indeed happen perhaps the target is not al-Qaeda leader and potential Third Antichrist candidate Usama bin Laden, but Gaddafi in Libya.

Now the second quatrain pertaining to Gaddafi’s future:

The Religion named after the ocean will overcome [perhaps an allusion to a new religious movement that saw its leader Osho (meaning oceanic?) on a world tour the last time US jets tried to send a missile into Gaddafi's tent in early 1986],

Against the sect of the son Adaluncatif [anagram for Gaddafi Luna or Gaddafi of the Crescent, Islam],

The obstinate, deplored [Gaddafi] sect will be afraid,

Of the two wounded Aleph (A) and Aleph (A) [a riddle: Gaddafi the father is wounded as is his son Saif (a)l-Islam (a)l-Gaddafi].

There are a number of references in Nostradamus’ prophecies about Libyan locations and themes that may influence our near future and even be the cause of an American-Russian nuclear conflict perhaps 3 years and seven months or 13 years from now, if the barbare (Barbary, Tripoli) pirate in question is meant to be Gaddafi.

Russia in the UN Security Council vote on Friday abstained. On Saturday, Moscow officially deplored the military action of Western air forces over Libya.

All the people across Japan will remember where they were at 2:46 pm Japanese Time on 3/11/11 when the fifth largest quake in recorded history, magnitude 9.0, hit the northeastern coast of the main Japanese island of Honshu near the port city of Sendai. Most of us living across the Pacific Ocean on the eastern side of the Ring of Fire, the most seismically active fault lines on the planet, will not remember where we were unless we remember our dreams and nightmares impressing brains within sleepy skulls in wee hours of the morning, Pacific Time.

I was one of the few on the West Coast of America who could remember where I was about 30 minutes after the quake struck. I had just helped my mother from the bathroom back to bed. She is in her 84th year and was enduring a third difficult night healing from a fall and concussion in the garden. I had stepped out of her bedroom to switch off the bathroom and hall lights. When I returned the television was on. That might be a mundane event in modern TV addicted times, but for my mother to have put the television on in the middle of the night was odd — perhaps a sign of post-concussion weirdness?

She told me later that she had a very strong impulse to turn it on.

So, as I walked into the bedroom the wide screen blazed in photons and electrons before my gaping, gasping face the great black wave shoving a whole city off its foundations.

The Pacific Ocean unslipped its earthen coastal boundaries along Japan running rampant, spilling over farms, plastic covered greenhouses and crop fields. The roiling surge was almost completely obscured, edged by black earth, topped thick with debris as if the detritus of neighborhoods sprinkled with metallic kernels of breaching, rolling fishing trawlers and bobbing cars were some “rubble of human ruin” cereal, riding a great wall of filthy milk, flooding out of Satan’s spilled Cheerios bowl from Hell.

Then the TV picture changed to a vision captured by the cyclopean eye of a cell phone gripped tightly by horror, pointing at a coastal residential foreshortened skyline of beautiful tiled oriental flanged roofs.

The houses came alive.

A host of them, tightly packed, started retreating back from the sea. Those farther away rushed and pushed along the nearer ones, as if the neighborhood of tiled roofs was a stampeding herd. The cyclops cell camera caught the great tiled rout carried on a frothing white and sweeping wing of a tsunami, undercutting and carrying away hundreds of houses from their earth-moored foundations! It was as if the world had tipped towards the cell phone camera spilling the sea and houses towards the person holding it on high ground.

Overwhelming as it was I began to cry at the humbling yet terrible beauty of the great wave’s power as cleanser of all human plans and follies. I understood in that tear-stained, heart-heaving moment why the ancients worshipped the sea as a great goddess for it seemed the works and day-to-day habitual rhythms — the taken for granted artificial environments constructed by man — were suddenly cast down, drowned, swept away by a divinely raging hand of goddess nature.

Another Jungian feminine archetype goddess may have influenced that invisible hand: the Moon, the starlit queen of tides.

She not only contributes her invisible force behind high and low ocean tides each day through her gravitational pull, but this heavenly body, heaving gravity as she speeds around us every month, may also cause the Earth’s tectonic plates to wax and wane.

It often has happened that great earthquakes take place a few days or a fortnight before or after the New or the Full Moon. Back in June 2010, I posted in the article Pluto and Uranus Squared Saturn a list of the great killer quakes of the 20th and 21st centuries focusing on how often and with shocking regularity the great temblors and tsunamis in modern history occur when Uranus is in square or opposition to the Earth or other major planets. The danger intensifies when Mars is also in 90-degree square or opposition to Earth or Jupiter.

Here is that list again, with one significant astrological addition. Notice in red how often the quakes happen exactly on a first and last quarter aspect when the Earth and Moon are squared at 90 degrees. What is more significant is plotting how close significant earthquakes episodes happen within a week of a New Moon or a Full Moon aspect:

Great Kanto (Tokyo) Quake, 1 September 1923, Magnitude 7.9
The Sun was in Virgo (an earth sign, meaning earthquakes) opposed Uranus in Pisces shaking and burning down Tokyo five days after the Full Moon on August 27.

Honshu, Japan, 2 March 1933, Magnitude 8.4
Uranus was in Aries, at that time, which was six days past New Moon.

Great Chilean Quake, 22 May 1960, magnitude 9.5
The most powerful quake ever recorded by instruments happened when the Sun just transited out of Taurus (an earth sign, quakes) with a near square of Uranus in Leo three days before New Moon.

Great Alaskan Quake, 27 March 1964 magnitude 9.3
Second largest quake ever seismically recorded happened when Uranus and Saturn were in opposing signs with Saturn in Pisces and Uranus in Virgo (an earth sign equals quakes!) one day before Full Moon!

Tangshan, China, 27 July 1976, magnitude 7.5
Perhaps the greatest killer quake recorded in modern times with an unofficial death toll exceeding 600,000 souls. Uranus was in Scorpio in an approximate square of Mars, Saturn and the Sun in Leo on a New Moon day!

Sichuan, China, 12 May 2008, magnitude 7.9
Vast earth waves and mountain landslides leveled cities carrying off over 80,000 in Central China when Uranus and Saturn were in opposite signs (Pisces and Virgo). One week after the New Moon was in first quarter aspect, 90 degrees square the Earth.

Sumatran Quake and Indian Ocean Tsunami, 26 December 2004, magnitude 9.1 to 9.3
The second largest quake in history recorded by seismograph caused a death toll mostly from its generated tsunami that unofficially killed over 300,000 people. Uranus and Pluto were at work again in a near grand T Square of a near Uranus in Pisces opposition with Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Sagittarius. It would seem that quakes do not always happen exactly on grand T-squares but within the approximate time and location of these. The quake did happen exactly on a Full Moon day!

Three days before New Moon on 15 January.

Chilean Quake, 27 February 2010, magnitude 8.8
The seventh largest earthquake ever measured shook the coastline off Concepción unleashing a killer tsunami into four Chilean fishing ports. A more moderate tsunami raced across the Pacific Ocean requiring millions of people around the Pacific Rim to evacuate their shores. The Moon was in Virgo squared Jupiter in Pisces. Uranus was also 23 degrees Pisces, one day before Full Moon on 28 February.

Now let us look at the astrological aspects of the most recent historic quake in Japan:

The Great Japanese Quake and Tsunami, 11 March 2011, magnitude 8.9, upgraded to 9.0.
Uranus (ruler of sudden surprises, upheaval) was in the last most intense degree of Pisces (ruler of oceans, tsunamis) before it passed into the combustible fire sign of Aries on 13 March with a flourish. Reactor 2 at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant had a hydrogen explosion and suffered a partial meltdown on the last day of Uranus in Pisces. Then Reactor 3 also blew up its outer building around the nuclear reactor’s containment vessel harboring a possible meltdown within the reactor core on the first day of Uranus transiting Aries (an astrological marriage of nasty surprises). This happened less than six days from New Moon and one day before a First Quarter Moon squared Earth 90 degrees.

I never expected the New and Full Moon aspects in my review today would be so close or exact. And on two occasions when they were nearly a week off, the Earth-Lunar Square of the waxing First Quarter Moon played a serial factor in large earthquakes, if not a square of Mars or Uranus.

It is important to understand that the subtle forces of the stars and moon begin exerting pressure on planets and people days before the waxing and a few days after the waning of an aspect. Depending on the vulnerability of what is being pushed, be it psychic or seismic, movements and changes can happen in the early influence of an approaching aspect. It can happen right on the aspect, as was the case in the great killer quakes of Tangshan, China (1976) and the Great Indian Ocean quake of 2004; or once the aspect’s influence is lifting, the pressures exerted before the let-up cause a collapse into mood changes or earth changes. For instance, I can press upon a brick wall, harder and harder, until I tire and step back. The damage I did is a factor in the wall’s sudden collapse moments, days or weeks later.

The more powerful the aspect, the longer the pressure of cosmic influence. This is important to understand with what is coming in the guise of next Saturday’s Full Moon on 19 March 2011. On that day the Moon will approach Earth in a lunar perigee. In other words, when you look at the moon on Saturday, you will be seeing it coming to its closest approach in 18 years! What a joy to marvel at moonrise and moonset when distortions caused by looking at it through the thick atmosphere over the horizon will make the Moon appear even larger.

Astrologer Richard Nolle defines such a Full or New Moon at 90 percent or greater of its closest perigee to Earth a “Super Moon”. The last Full Moon on 18 February, the upcoming one on 19 March and 17 April’s Full Moon all qualify as Super Moons within Nolle’s calculations.

Beyond skeptical suspicion of astrological influence in our lives, few open-minded scientists can deny the measurable impact the Moon has on ocean tides. Looking at the list of great quakes above, perhaps the Full Moon’s monthly close presses and the dark New Moon pulling away have a tidal affect on the tectonic plates. Sometimes this cosmic breath in and out causes quakes and volcanic eruptions.

Ask anyone working in hospitals, law enforcement, firefighters or EMS medics and they will tell you that more murders, injuries, basic wacky “loony” behavior happens on a Full Moon night.

The term “you’re a loony” made famous by Monty Python comedians got its origin from the word “lunar” for Moon madness. Imagine then, what pressing yet subtle tidal pressures on the waters of Earth and the waters of the brain and body might kick loose during a Super Moon Looney time? Add also to that mix a near Jupiter-Pluto square; with the Super Moon transiting the earth sign Virgo (earth signs equal earthquakes).

In lieu of what regularity Uranus and Mars push and pull in squares or opposition during heightened seismic activity, consider the aspects on Super Full Moon day 19 March 2011 (all shown here in Pacific Time). The Full Moon opposes the Sun at 11:10 am. The Moon opposes Uranus 1:45 pm.

The Sun on Saturday approaches full conjunction with Uranus on 21 March, within the 2-degree orb of influence (that means Earth may be under the magnification of a Sun-Uranus cosmic pull on Saturday even if the conjunction is not exact).

The Sun is in the last degrees of ocean-tipping Pisces (28.32 degrees) conjunct Uranus (revolutions and sudden upheaval), which is just a quarter of a degree into Aries. The first and last degrees of transits into signs are most powerful.

Sun and Uranus are conjunct in southern declination (be watchful of wavy waters and trembling earth in the equatorial or the Southern Hemisphere).

The Super Moon is in opposition to the Sun and Uranus conjunction. If the Asian side of the Ring of Fire endures another major quake, my oracle predicts the danger would be moving south of Honshu Island into the equatorial or southern hemispheric areas. Be prepared in Kyushu Island (Japan), Okinawa (Japan), the Philippines, Indonesia, all the way south to Christchurch for more strong aftershocks in New Zealand after that devastating quake several weeks ago. The danger of a powerful aftershock and tsunami around the devastated northeastern coast of Honshu is also high. Cosmic influences magnifying a nuclear disaster in many damaged Japanese reactors on the 19th is also: high.

We had Super Moons in 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005. The last was on 10 January 2005, a New Moon, roughly two weeks after the Indian Ocean quake and tsunami on the Full Moon of 26 December 2004. The great Japanese quake of 11 March 2011 happened just a little more than a week before the Super Full Moon on the 19th. I certainly hope this temblor and tsunami is the worst the current Super Moon may deal us and all that is left after an uneventful Saturday under big moonlight is the shouting between debunkers and astrologers on blogs.

That is my hope but not, I sense, going to be fulfilled during the Full Monty of the Moon.

There will be a violent shift of record winter storms into record spring storms and tornadoes in North America. Prepare for spring floods across America and Western Europe. The sudden swing of seasonal climate change from globally snowed under winter to globally warmed spring will hinge on the next full moon date.

There will be another major quake or volcanic eruption in the next 20 days of 7.5 or above 8 magnitude. Some Sun watchers who divine earthquakes by watching solar flare activity worry for the southern Japanese island of Kyushu being the next Japanese target.

In my case, my oracle keeps prompting the Philippines up in my mind as of more seismic or volcanic concern. What is far more pressing the psychic intuition is the constant oracular sense mounting that the northeastern quarter of the Pacific Rim’s Ring of Fire is going to be active this year like it has not been for many decades.

In Predictions for 2008, 2009 and 2010, I accurately forecasted quakes in the Cascadian Subduction Zone off the coast of Central Oregon. This vulnerable coast and Southwest Washington’s flat and sprawling beaches are ever my concern for a Sumatran-style unzipping of the Cascadian S.Z., which is almost geologically identical to the Sumatran fault that pushed monster waves across the Indian Ocean in late 2004.

I have already forecast in Predictions for 2011 a magnitude 5-to-6 magnitude quake for the Western Washington region over which I sit, typing this on my sandy and quake resonant island north of Seattle on the Puget Sound. However, left last but not least in my forecast in my e-books is an area along the US coast of most concerned to me. The region that may be influenced either by the big mooning of 19 March; or, other aspects of astrological power coming around the next Super Full Moon in April.

Be mindful and well prepared, those of you living in San Diego and Los Angeles for a major quake along the San Andreas or its tributary fault lines this year, perhaps sooner in spring than later. I have documented already in Predictions for 2009 and 2010 some accurate preliminary quakes with epicenters east of San Diego along the US-Mexican border.

There also is Bardarbunga, the large volcano in central Iceland. It might bardar-bee, bardar-BOOM because of March or April Super Moons, blowing ash across Europe. Bardarbunga is capable of vomiting twice as much ash fall than that which fell last year from its smaller neighbor with the unpronounceable Viking name: Eyjafjallajokull. (Gesunheit!)

There will be seismic, loony events in the mass unconscious mob mind of humans too.

Twentieth-Century mystic, G.I. Gurdjieff gave an esoteric slant to the mood tide-swinging influences the Moon upon us. He explained that planets evolve like people. The moon being the newer earth-born part of a binary planet relationship feeds upon the energy of the older for nourishment — A mother’s milk of human and animal unconsciousness.

It feeds upon and influences of our subconscious, mechanical behaviors. The moon makes us “nutty” bonkers, bouffants, as the source of its mysterious extraterrestrial buffet.

When you and your beloved look at the moon on the 19th, just say, “eat me” to that glowing orb. The baby planet Moon will invisibly comply. Gurdjieff says we are all unmindfully “food for the Moon.”

Now, I can almost see the question marks flying out of the reader’s brain. What in loony goodness is Mr. Gurdjieff mooning on about here? Moreover, what meaning, provocation, or a mystic’s inscrutable device in a figure of speech was intended when he blamed his disciple’s mechanical, idiotic conditioning as a lunar food source?

Maybe the moon, being a newer and primitive heavenly body pulling its gravitational weight inside and around us is a physical channel of a force of unprogressive unconsciousness. We are trying to emerge from it, snap out of its gravitational drag back to being habitually primitive. Gurdjieff would propose we cultivate a countermanding soul awareness to sense a cosmically unconscious lunar influence and rise above it.

Scientists might guffaw at all of this as subjective clap trap, but then, scientists do well to make us food for wars, climate changes, atomic bombs when they invent their machines without the wisdom to think through the consequences. Even Einstein saw his mistake when encouraging the creation of atomic weapons, mooning that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the American scientists would never be irresponsible, like an Adolf Hitler might, with weapons of mass destruction. When the Hitler threat was over in 1945, and after a few test fires on non-nuclear Japan, the United States started building atomic bombs by the hundreds before the Soviet Union lit off their first A-blast in 1949.

Einstein by that time began soul searching the unforeseen consequences of his scientific flight of atomic fancy lobbying FDR when the “good guys” started threatening civilization’s “good byes” by initiating a nuclear arms race with a head start of 250 US A-Bombs to 1 Russian device in 1949.

Food for thought, or food for the moon because of thoughtlessness…? We shall see.

Let us visit Libya’s future:

Cycles of time move from masculine dominant to feminine dominant periods lasting 36 years. We passed into a 36-year “feminine” influential period in 2008. When consciously understood, feminine forces inside all of us can be used to nurture a better future. However, when unconsciously applied, the same forces promote mass hysteria. Mob emotion trumps individual reason. Emotion becomes a drug, an opiate. I call this phenomenon of mass emotive unconsciousness: pheminin.

When the times of Cosmic Night grasp for the opiate of pheminin politics this tsunami can brush away regimes on a whim of impatient mass hysteria.

Predictions for 2011

Speaking of something Moon-looney is a Libyan Revolution without coherent leadership or a plan to defend itself against a modern, well armed, disciplined Libyan Army. The heart and bravery of the rebels is not in question. Their military “intelligence” however…?

It is guided by a hysteric mob psychology — military moon madness. You see untrained men thronging about the coastal road lifeline of Libya, without leaders, knowledge of tactics, a plan. But as the Libyan rebel I saw on TV, ducking from Gaddafi’s artillery barrage said with a grin as he fumbled with stripping and fixing his jammed rocket propelled grenade he planned to use for the first time: “We’ve got God on our side!”

Many of those men are now food for the desert flies. Food for the Moon. Regimes like Egypt could be overthrown by mass emotive demonstrations but mobs cannot govern a country, least of all themselves. I would add mobs in popular revolutions, if they do not find their leaders, discipline or focus, are food for Cadafi Luna (the decoding of Adaluncatif), the famous anagram Nostradamus used to describe the Libyan dictator in his prophecies.

Before Japanese catastrophes turned the one-dimensional attention span of CNN and other networks away from the Civil War in Libya, I could see camera footage of the East Libyan militias, if one could call them that, taking a desert road trip, packing their buddies with guns in the truck bed.

Hi ho! Hi Ho! Allah willing they go, fighting westward down a lost highway to Gaddafi’s stronghold, the city of Tripoli. The rebellion took al-Brega and other coastal towns. Their little victories against small Libyan regular army units in the first skirmishing phase of the civil war were touted by gushing news anchors in the West as “great victories” against the nut-job dictator.

I watched that armed rabble, spending precious ammunition blasting away at the air for the news cameras with their secondhand and rusty guns, mobs of them thronging their antique T-54 tanks like third world buses. No commanders, no order and no supplies except for surplus military hardware ransacked from Gaddafi’s depots in Benghazi.

I saw college students getting a crash course on which way to point their RPGs while under bombardment from Gaddafi’s freshly painted and armored APCs mounted with 50 caliber machine guns and 20mm cannons. I watched Men in street clothes pose a brave front on sand blasted and weather beaten triple-A antiaircraft guns mounted on pickup trucks. They just fired straight up in the air when jet engines thundered overhead, unseen, the gunners hoping to hit something other than their own helmetless heads when that entire spewing ordinance came falling back out of the sky.

I warned back on 3 March 2011 in Climate Change, Libya, and Living Free from the Future what was going to soon happen to the rebellion against Gaddafi if it remained a rout of heroic warrior clowns without ring masters in Benghazi, or officers to train and guide them:

“I said it at the beginning of the Libyan Revolution and I say it again, as a compassionate warning to the revolutionaries in the eastern coastal cities of Libya, such as Benghazi: Gaddafi will launch an offensive on you. It will happen this month, and you people of Benghazi will need to get yourself organized or by April, you will have Gaddafi’s tanks shooting you pointblank in your streets. You will have your oceanside demonstrations strafed by Gaddafi’s Tripolian and Algerian pilots in jets and attack helicopters.

“Listen well; there will be no No Fly Zone organized by the US Navy or the NATO air forces flying across the Mediterranean from Italy. That simply will not happen as long as you continue to be a leaderless circus in the streets, playing with your rusting, second hand tanks, and shooting off into the air magazine after wasted magazine of your secondhand anti-aircraft guns for the entertainment of brave Ben Wederman’s CNN cameras.

“You need to organize.

“Undisciplined revolutions of leaderless masses never succeed. And many an organized revolution can also succumb to a tyrannical state, initially caught off guard, but soon finding its savage footing and take aim, putting fire and chemical weapons on the cities and towns of rebels.”

Gaddafi’s daffy antics before the camera, his rambling incoherent speeches should not be the news media’s sole gauge of what he is capable of. He is daffy but not dumb. He has controlled the most tribal of Arab-North African countries for 42 years. He always had a contingency plan to suppress a rebellion of the tribes of Cyrenaica (Eastern Libya), never a friend of his clan or his tribal allies. He made sure the militias there had little training, bad command structures. He threw them the remains of lousy, defunct-Soviet weapons while the Tipolian Western Libyan tribes, revolutionary militias, his blood and allies, procured the most modern Russian-made weapons, jets, artillery and T-72 tanks.

Back in early March, the rabble-lion rebellion forces against Gaddafi came down the coastal road from Cyrenaica high on courage and cockiness, but lo on heavy armament or logistical supply or support, boasting they were going to drive on to Tripoli and take Gaddafi out. In the meantime, Gaddafi’s forces took their time to regroup, consolidate their alliances militarily and politically. They then systematically liquidated rebellions in Western Libya while letting the rabble from Cyrenaica overextend themselves from their base in Benghazi. Now the counter offensive I predicted back in a 22nd-February blog (click on Nostradamus predictions), is on course for a march on Benghazi:

Gaddafi will try to take [the old refineries and fields] back, promise reward of the rich oil industry to those western tribes and sub-tribes leaders who support the crackdown.

People inside Libya phone the outside world about Gaddafi’s acts of genocide. Believe it. This civil war could descend into a battle between Libya’s tribes to control oil resources.

At the time of this writing (22 February 2011), Gaddafi and his tribal allies in the secret police and armed forces are ruthlessly liquidating rebels in Tripoli while air strikes on Benghazi continue.

I predict Gaddafi intends to launch his heavily armored forces against Benghazi, the heart of the revolution.

Nostradamus on the Fate of Gaddafi

On 14 March 2011, the Libyan army retook al-Brega in Eastern Libya. Al-Brega is a main petrol and natural gas refining port that powers electricity to Eastern Libya cities such as Benghazi. Rag tag and tacky armed rebel forces were pounded by air, artillery and tank fire and sent fleeing down the road to Benghazi, scattering their weapons along the same sand scoured thoroughfare Erwin Rommel’s Afrika Korps chased the routed British in 1941.

A rebel spokesman defended the rapid retreat with what authority to speak to the media I do not know, and neither does the media, since there does not seem to be a real revolutionary government in Benghazi, just hope and expectation of one. Anyway, he spokesman explained the rebel fighters were not routed but had chosen to leave al-Brega as a “tactical maneuver.”

Tactics are always trumped by strategic maneuvers, such as that achieved by Gaddafi’s armed forces who by taking al-Brega. Gaddafi now can pull the plug on power in the rebel capital of Benghazi. Libyan tanks now begin their advance on that second largest city of Libya, which is only a two-hour drive up the road. On the Ides of March (15 March 2011), they fight pitched battles in Ajdabia on the approaches of Benghazi. By next Saturday, Gaddafi will be closing an iron ring around blacked out Benghazi under the light of the Super Full Moon.

Now to other deadly arenas of Arab Revolution.

Since the waxing moon has a pull on mass mob moods, one sees demonstrations in Yemen become bloodier last weekend with police firing live ammunition into demonstrators.

More significant than this is what is brewing for the Full Moon weekend to come in Saudi Arabia.

On Thursday (10 March 2011) a day before the Japanese Quake, Sunni Saudi Arabian police fired tear gas and rubber bullets into a crowd of hundreds of Shia protesters in the city of al-Qatif in oil rich northeastern province, the source of nearly all of its oil. There has been a surge in activity on Facebook to organize “Day of Rage” demonstrations for after Friday Prayers on 11 March. It fizzled. Most of the users are educated young (and mostly majority Sunni) human rights activists and intellectuals living in the main urban centers of Riyadh and Jeddah.

I would expect the worst disturbances coming next Friday through Saturday under the Super Full Moon will be sectarian in nature, in al-Qatif and other oil drilling and refining towns and ports along the northeastern corner of the Saudi kingdom with a sizable Shia minority of 15 percent of the population.

Next door in the Shia principality ruled by a handful of Sunni princelings called Bahrain, watch sectarian tempers under lunar influences intensify too. The Bahrainian monarch on 15 March declared emergency rule for three months and called on Sunni monarchs of Arabia and other Gulf states to send their solders into Bahrain to suppress all protest. Push has led to the people shoving back. Bahrain will become a sectarian battlefield when the Moon is super full on the 19th.

Egypt’s revolution may also suffer mood swings towards the sectarian with further burnings of Egyptian Coptic churches by the Moonstruck Muslim majority in the Nile Delta cities and towns.

Moon moody influences the subjectivity of economic speculation.

Look for the stock markets to feel the pain of the Japanese Quake, the uncertainty of tech market stocks because so much of our technical products are manufactured from a now-fractured Japan for the next few weeks if no meltdown of nuclear power plants happens (it will happen).

Global economic recovery will suffer a huge setback if nuclear meltdowns at the Fukushima Daiich Plant breach their containment vessels like radioactive effluent lava fuel rods ooze from the butt end of containment theory.

The Dow Jones plummeted -228.48 points back on 10 March because of a number of bad economic reports, including an increase this month US unemployment. I guess it takes no Nostradamus to predict that a Day of Raging Shias in the oil producing cities of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will make next Friday’s stocks plummet some more as oil could climb higher beyond the new $100 per barrel daily averages. But then, who can easily predict these Gaddafi Looneytoon times, what with the Moon’s ramp up to perigee on 19 March. For all I know the stock will gain hundreds of points by the end of next week on speculation of all the reconstruction investment in Japan to come (not!).

In my forecasts for 2011, I often drew readers’ attention to the months of March and April, two of the most potentially problematic months in a half-year of crises in political leadership resulting in an economic relapse to deep recession.

It starts with the Super Full Moon but the volatility does not end there. A fury of a political kind erupts next Friday just a day before Full Moon madness with a potential shutdown of the US Federal government because of budget gridlock between Donkeycrats verses a coalition of Dumbo-Publican-Mad Hatter Tea Party pols. Thus will begin a six month period of “Wattsington” DC riotous politics on the floors of US Congress that I described in detail in the Predictions for 2011 chapter “Wattsington DC”.

I would like to close with an interpretation of a prophecy written for that book’s final chapter, Alarm Bells Sound the Unsustainable:

A tectonic rock thrown into a huge Pacific pond. This NOAA satellite image of the Pacific Ocean shows the tsunami wave height as it rolled across to the Americas.

Neptune (the planet named after a Greek sea god) moves into Pisces come April. It will be a year of great sea storms and flooding La Niña rains for the whole world.

Nature is turning up the volume of her screaming gales. Her thundering quakes and waves mount until the alarm bells of an unsustainable abuse of the ecosystem begin their first ringing sound.

2010 was the year of the temperature tsunami. The tsunami I foresaw in the Pacific for 2011 has happened this week. It will not be the last great wave mounting the shores made of dry earth and more etheric shores of our unconsciousness. There will be events that are more tsunami-like in 2011. Political tsunamis that wash away regimes, political movements, presidential hopefuls, like tea flooding out of a party cup. Arab waves of revolution sweep some regimes away, yet some dictatorial regimes will sweep the undisciplined and hysterical popular revolutions aside in a tsunami of bloodshed.

The earthquake and an ocean flooding over Japan, the Libyan civil war turning civil rout are all food for Neptune in its final degrees of transit out of revolutionary Aquarius. On 5 April 2011, the great ruler of subconscious mind and spiritual transformation, the ocean God-engine of our weather and waves, moves into its home sign of oceanic Pisces.

Deep waters wait to be plumbed by the potential human awareness of each of you; or let the force of conditioned habit stamp “eat me” on the backside of your soul illuminated in the moonlight.

Never was there a time in history when human existence needed the IN-significance of individual transformation. It is time to be empowered by awareness we ignore and toss like pearls to the swine of our conditioned, programmed ego-minds.

Unconscious habit is ever the food of negative futures.

It is time to meditate.

The Muslim world has its own North Korean style hermit kingdom, virtually closed off from the world, from journalists and the Internet. Yet, just like a very positive variant of a virus, the spread of Arab revolution out of Tunisia to Libya’s west and out of Egypt to Libya’s east has infected the closed kingdom of strongman Muhammar Gaddafi with an information dis-ease. The vectors of this fever of openness with symptoms of democratic desires are cell phones, iPhones and laptops. It is a social disease of an electronic networked kind carried by Facebook and twittering software on electronic communication gadget “mosquitoes” that can infect even a starkly free-information quarantined country like Libya with a “malarial” wave of free speech contagious and fatal to dictators. Before Gaddafi’s regime came down with this “cold” a statement of the late Hafez al-Assad of Syria echoes again in the halls of Damascus, Teheran and down the totalitarian’s halls of Tripoli. Regimes in the Arab world with the guts to fire on their own rebellious people never fall. Now that totalitarian theory is being tested in Libya.

Word is getting out of a life-and-death struggle of the people of Libya with the Gaddafi regime. More “infections” of the truth buzz ring cell phones in and tweet out of Libya revealing cracks appearing in the cyber-hermetically sealed dictatorship.

I predict Gaddafi is going down violently, like Ceausescu in 1989, “Romanian-style”. The question is, how long will it take and how bloody will it be?

Comparisons have been drawn comparing the current regional revolution of Arabs to that of the fall of Eastern European communist regimes in 1989 when the Soviet Union gave up the standoff with the Western democracies as the Cold War began to end. The Berlin Wall fell, then the regime of East Germany collapsed. Where East Germany went so went the region, being the most influential satellite member of the Soviet Warsaw Pact alliance, just like Egypt in the Arab world today is a trendsetter.

The fall of the Erich Honeker regime in East Berlin caused a regional chain reaction across Eastern Europe with communist dictatorships falling mostly with a whimper except one: the eccentric strongman Nicolae Ceausescu of Romania, every inch as daffy a dictator as Gaddafi. Relinquish power? Only over his dead body, like Gaddafi threatens today.

Romanian street demonstrations quickly turned into massacres then pitched battles between opposing regular and police military units for and against Ceausescu in a short, sharp, tank shell riddled and exceedingly bloody civil war, ending with support of Ceausescu rapidly — literally — draining out like blood poured over the cobble stones of Bucharest. Ceausescu tried to escape, was arrested, lined up against a wall and summarily shot with automatic weapons.

What happens in Libya will be similar but I fear it will take longer and be a far more bloody civil war. Unlike Romania’s civil war, Libya is among the most deeply entrenched tribal societies in the Arab world. This civil war will be won or lost by who can manage the complex alliances and promise patronage to key Libyan tribes. Western Libya mostly has tribes allied with Gaddafi, whose stronghold is Tripoli.

Most of the rebels who seized Benghazi and the eastern half of Libya are from tribes out of favor with Gaddafi. The oil profits from the world’s 17th largest oil producer go mostly to the western Libyan tribes. Western Libya has oil fields but they just lost the lion’s share located in the eastern provinces. Gaddafi will try to take them back, promise reward of the rich oil industry to those western tribes and sub-tribes leaders who support the crackdown.

People inside Libya phone the outside world about Gaddafi’s acts of genocide. Believe it. This civil war could descend into a Libyan tribal life struggle to control oil resources before and Gaddafi is gone.

I predict Gaddafi intends to launch his heavily armored forces against Benghazi, the heart of the revolution.

The main Libyan tribe, Warfallah, numbers one million people. They were the first tribe to support the current anti-government movement. Not a good sign for the future of Gaddafi’s regime, or his plans for a crackdown because they man much of the militia and regular army forces of the 120,000-man Libyan military. Nevertheless, the Libyan military continues to unleash jet bombers, helicopter gunships and naval gunships taking pot shots at Benghazi. That indicates both sides have a mix of military might. People are taking sides.

Gaddafi pays for an unknown number of ruthless sub-Saharan mercenaries numbering 7,000 operatives, including tank and armored units in what is known as Gaddafi’s Pan Islamic Legion. I sense because of his dwindling support from the Warfallah, he is calling in favors from many more guerilla and terrorist forces across Africa whose insurrections he bankrolled for four decades. These gathering mercenary forces flying in by transport are the spear point of a planned strike on Eastern Libya. It is because of them and the atrocities to come that Gaddafi will soon lose support from all of his people — East and West Libyans — and come to bloody ruin

Another reason why this could be far worse than the Romanian revolution of 1989, Ceausescu’s bloody fall did not rock oil prices across the world threatening high prices that could stall economic global recovery. Libyan oil fields have stopped pumping and exporting. Uncertainly hit the stock markets hard on Tuesday with the Dow Jones dropping -178.46 points. The Oil APR price today closed $96.92 a barrel, close to passing an ominous threshold, rising beyond the $100 mark. The last time that happened was in 2008. Then came the Great Recession.

The week is young, like the Libyan civil war. Prepare for triple digit per oil barrel prices sinking economic growth soon. What is coming is not a stock market correction of the DOW Jones by five or six percent. The next economic crisis begins. The one I foresaw in detail. Triggered by oil prices and dated in my predictions for 2010 and forecasts for 2011.

If I were you, reader, I would top my gas tank. The fall of Gaddafi is coming but this Jim Jones of Arab dictators could take the Libyan oil industry with him in a bloodbath stretching for weeks. That means Africa’s fourth largest oil exporter will be off line for a while. That means oil exports across Africa are disrupted. Expect this to bring fuel and food riots in South Africa. Europe is the biggest importer of Libyan oil. Expect this to trigger another EU financial crisis that will impact the US and Chinese economy, as I detail in Predictions for 2011.

The 16th-century French prophet, Michel Nostradamus (1503-1566) might have set down a verse or two about the fate of Muhammar Gaddafi.

Century 4 Quatrain 62 of his history of the future Les Propheties states:

Vn coronel machine ambition,
Se saisira de la plus grand’armée,
Contre son prince fainte inuention,
Et descouuert sera soubz sa ramée.

A colonel will through machinating (plotting) ambition.
He will seize the greatest part of the army,
Against his Prince through a false invention.
He will be discovered under his branches.

In 1995 I wrote the following interpretation that was published on p. 345 of my 1,000-page tome Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies:

In 1969 Colonel Gaddafi overthrew King Idris in the Libyan Revolution. He seized the greatest part of the Libyan army’s support in a secret coup (false invention). The final line of the quatrain may cryptically relate details of a notorious milestone in Gaddafi life to be reached 17 years later. On the night of 5 April 1986 … a terrorist bomb exploded in a Berlin disco, killing two people, including a US serviceman. The [US] Reagan government chose to find evidence suggesting that the order for the bombing came from Gaddafi. (Actually, other far more compelling evidence implicating the Syrians and Iranians in the bombing was ignored by Reagan. But I suppose an attack on the most vulnerable terrorist-sanctioning nation would suit his political movie script better than a military attack on the deep heartland of Islamic terrorism.) Nine days later…US bombers attacked terrorist-related targets in Libya. Bombs were also aimed at the Al Aziziya barracks in the desert outside of Tripoli where, it is said, Gaddafi and his family sometimes reside in a bedroom designed to look like a Bedouin tent. Gaddafi’s two sons were slightly injured by flying glass and his 15-month-old adopted daughter, along with 100 people, were killed in what was clearly an assassination bombing mission. Gaddafi survived unscathed.

A translation of line 4 is difficult. In earlier books I had taken the figurative meaning of ramée to deduce a green arbor or green flag symbolizing Gaddafi’s Libya. A more down-to-earth translation of ramée as branches might better describe Gaddafi the moment two bombs slammed into his tennis court and another took out his front door. One might have found him crouched beneath the branches (or legs) of his desk, hiding his face from the flying glass.

Rebooting my interpretation fourteen years later, let us take on the riddle of line four in the context of Gaddafi’s near future.

With the word ramie Nostradamus may describe the scene of his end. It means branches; arbor, green bows, green arbor. The etymology could mean by extension a green Bedouin tent, the green Libyan flag, or perhaps the scene of his end is such a tent pitched in an oasis. Although I do not personally believe he will leave Libya alive, I could be wrong. Gaddafi may escape to the green arbor, bows and luscious vegetation of the tropics. He could fly out of the desert living out his days a guest of dictator Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Perhaps it is there he will be killed when Chavez falls.

Another quatrain and famous anagram indexed Century 10 Quatrain 96 could describe the life and bloody fate of Gaddafi and his son:

Religion du nom des mers vaincra,
Contre le secte fils Adaluncatif,
Secte obstinee deploree craindra,
Des deux blessez par Aleph & Aleph.

The Religion named after the ocean will overcome,
Against the sect of the son Adaluncatif,
The obstinate, deplored sect will be afraid,
Of the two wounded Aleph (A) and Aleph (A).

The anagram Adaluncatif has baffled interpreters for the past several centuries. I take it to be a riddle about Gaddafi. Adaluncatif is an anagram. Reshuffle the letters and they form “Cadafi Luna.” Allowing for phonetic spelling changes, it is possible to get “Gaddafi Luna,” “Gaddafi of the Moon,” or “Gaddafi of the Crescent of Islam.”

Now the next riddle. What Religion is named after the ocean that will overcome the sect and son of Gaddafi?

The term “Oceanic religion” could be somewhat awkwardly describing Gaddafi’s bed on the night of the US bombing raid on his home in 1986.

Author and former British Parliament member George Tremlett has been one of the few Westerners invited into Gaddafi’s house in the center of a military barracks outside of Tripoli. The bombed bedroom is enclosed in glass, like a shrine, without one shard of shrapnel or piece of broken masonry disturbed since the night of the bombing. Tremlett’s book Gaddafi: The Desert Mystic contains a photograph of the bed; at the head we see an illuminated and vividly colored panoramic photo of ocean waves crashing on the rocks. Could this wall papered photo religiously bemuse the 16th-century prophet?

A number of religions, such as Tibetan Buddhism, describe themselves as oceanic.

We could go out on a limb a little further.

Around the same time in early 1986 that US jets bombed Gaddafi’s bedroom, the Oregon Commune of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh disbanded. Bhagwan was in the midst of a world tour seeing him thrown out of 21 countries by CIA and Reagan administration pressure until his meditation resort/university was reestablished in Pune, India in 1987.

Rajneesh changed his name to Osho before he died in early 1990 from what his followers and doctors claim was heart disease accelerated by being poisoned with the heavy metal Thallium in November 1985. He claimed to have been poisoned during the three days he disappeared from all contact by the press and his lawyers, while under the custody of US federal agents.

Rajneesh explained that the new name Osho was derived from William James’ word “oceanic,” which means dissolving into the ocean. Oceanic describes the experience of being simply religious without the limits of mafias of the soul or dead dogmas. You are it and it is an oceanic, blissful experience.

Osho is also used as a Zen salutation that can essentially be translated as “oceanic consciousness.”

Gaddafi gets bombed around the same time the guru of a new religion metaphorically named after the ocean is spreading its message on a world tour. Though this association of Gaddafi and Osho might sound far-fetched, it would not be the first time Nostradamus dated an incident in future history by chronicling two unrelated events happening at the same time only as a time clue rather than having any direct connection.

Nostradamus also hid more than one decodable meaning in his anagrams. (For instance, see Mabus.)

The anagram Adaluncatif gives us Cadafi Luna. Yet, remove “A(dal)u(n)cat(i)f” and we also get Nidal.

Gaddafi was once a close friend and patron to the notorious Palestinian terrorist Abu Nidal in the 1980s.

Drop the c and the remaining letters a-u-a-t-f can phonetically spell “fatau,” for Fatah, as in the Palestinian Fatah party.

Fatah now runs the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank region under Israeli occupation. At one time it included a terrorist branch known at the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).

In other words, Cadafi Luna is linked to Abu Nidal (terrorist) and the PLO of Fatah as it may relate to the near future.

The secular workweek begins with Gaddafi Luna threatened with overthrow. The workweek will soon end with Friday — (the Muslim holy day, church day, their “Sunday” according to their calendar).

This Friday watch the Fatah Party of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank join the radical Palestinian party of Hamas, controlling the Gaza Strip for a “Day of Rage” demonstration across all Israeli occupied Palestinian territories.

Gaddafi, a patron of Hamas, will drag his country down into civil war this week while the Arab Revolution reaches the doorstep of Israel this Friday in a protest against the US veto that put a kibosh on a recent United Nations Security Council resolution to declare Israeli settlement construction illegal.

Watch Friday when the Arab Revolution amps up in intensity to a whole new dimension, shifting from an uprising against the oppression of its own Arab-born dictators to an rebellion against oppression of the US-backed Israelis in Palestine.

If these interpetated layers of the Adaluncatif anagram message are correct, Gaddafi’s civil war and fall is linked to the coming rage in Palestinian streets.

Where then do the clues walk us to next?

Solving the riddle of the last two lines of 10 Q96:

The obstinate, deplored sect will be afraid,
Of the two wounded Aleph (A) and Aleph (A).

The sect of Gaddafi is afraid of the two wounded A and A. How do we decode just what the Hebrew letter for A (Aleph) and its Arabic variant (Alif) represent?

Gaddafi intends to give his dictatorship to one of his sons, of which he has seven. The most likely grooms for dad’s dictatorship are Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi and Mutassim Gaddafi.

The prophecy might imply the two will be wounded, after the father is deposed.

Apparently, these Hebrew/Arabic letters are not the same as our letter A. Instead they correspond not to the vowel sound “ah” but to the glottal stop that precedes it. With that said, one cannot rule out that Nostradamus the obscurer would lead the idle seeker off the etymological trail. Perhaps he was more interested in the spelling of the word in Roman letters to hide a name consisting of two “A”-sounds when spoken?

Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi.

If so, then the first and second Alif could represent a kind of phonetic spelling of the most likely heir apparent’s name, Saif (a)l-Islam (a)l-Gaddafi (meaning Sword of Islam from Gaddafi)

He is the son of Adaluncatif. The designated successor to lead the obstinate and deplored sect of Gaddafi’s mutant Marxist-Socialist-Islamic system now rejected by the people of Libya.

Successor A and A will be mortally wounded?

A and A also could be Nostradamus hinting the most popular chant of the demonstrators in Libya: Allahu Akbar! (God is Great!) In this way the faith of Allah is the oceanic religion foreseen to succeed over this obstinate, deplored sect.

If we move beyond all the tangled speculation inherent in picking loose a line of clarity out of cryptic Nostradamus, the fires of revolution overtaking the Middle East could cleanse the way for a better and more democratic era.

My oracle’s forecasts for 2010 and those published for 2011 indicate sudden and unexpectedly positive breakthroughs in the Middle East are quite possible.

Israel in 2011 has an excellent opportunity to be a positive game changer, supporting Arab democratic aspirations while isolating radical Islam based in Iran. I wrote a chapter about this potential destiny in my prophecies for 2011.

Windows of Opportunity in 2011:

In 2011, economic recovery is announced to white wash the systemic flaws in the banking and financial system. The US government becomes more dysfunctional. The US Federal Reserve will try to print money by the “trillion” (not $600 billion as projected) to throw at the oncoming deflation crisis. Watch also for banking collapses and a crashing Euro in Europe. Time runs out in 2011 to fix these and other financial defects of Wall Street and Main Street before the world is soon filled with the angry rioters of “mean” streets.

And yet. . .

A global system of technology is spreading prosperity to countries once called part of the poor, politically unstable Third World. The middle classes born in the last Pluto/Capricorn cycle in Europe and America are reeling in a midlife crisis. In the name of constitutional reform, dark forces of a CEOlygarchy make their move to transform the United States into a nation of the corporate, buy the corporate, for the corporate. Will American citizens push back? Revolution in America was born in the last Pluto-Capricorn transit. The cycle of revolution rises again!
• 2011 is the year threatening a military crisis caused by the collapse of two failed states possessing nuclear weapons. Yet, the first salvos are not from the crack of guns but the pang of hunger in North Korea. The second crisis strikes home not from the thunder of combat jets but the thunder of monsoons across Pakistan and South Asia.

“Year Two” of Nature’s World War on Humanity starts Tomorrow

It’s just been a week since I posted the first and shorter version of this blog on 26 December. Look at what’s happening with the climate! From the ice storms and record blizzards paralyzing Europe and Russia, burying New York City in record snowfall, see the tropical cyclones of the Southern Hemispheric summer turn the 500-year drought in Australia to a 500-year flood in Queensland overnight!

It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature. It’s stupid. Now she’s on a rampage responding to our abuse of the planet. I write this expanded edition of the blog introducing my new e-Book Predictions for 2011 on the last day of the year 2010 — a year already going down in history as the hottest on record and one of the most violent years on record for weird and catastrophic weather. My oracle has painted a picture of the coming new year. If you think 2010 was bad, brace yourself for 2011!

A historic blizzard paralyzing New York City, Philadelphia, the states of New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and most of New England with a super-charged winter storm that has a low pressure gradient as low as a category 1 hurricane! It reminds me of this prediction from the new book:

In 2011, we enter year two of World War Three, Mother Nature’s war on us. This isn’t some pagan voodoo threat. The natural world is ill. It’s fighting back madder than ever in 2011. Her fever chills will bury us in blizzards this winter, her fevers will then suddenly rise hotter this coming spring and summer, her rages will redouble from what was seen in 2010.
