Things are not what they seem. There is saber rattling in the Persian Gulf (or what Nostradamus called in his predictions about a future war with Iran, the “Arabian” Gulf). Your corporately funded and controlled mainstream news outlets like to prey on the childishness of the masses. They play our overlording parent waving a saber baby rattle to attract a child’s wondering attention as the nurse, as it were, prepares the painful butt shot.

Watch the rattling saber, my fellow babies. Coo your concern and fatal attraction to a war being pushed upon you with Iran by a military industrial complex that needs to find another market in the highly profitable big business of war armaments and deterrents in the Middle East. The war business lost the Iraq market with the pullout of the US military occupation. Pakistan’s radicalization will soon pinch off the war market in Afghanistan, much sooner than the deadline of 2014, by the way.

The public’s infantile attention is directed elsewhere, away from real dangers lurking in the highly unstable and Islamist-bound regime along the Indus River. Pakistan with its crash program to triple its nuclear weapons stockpile is adding 200 more 25 to 35 kiloton nuclear warheads to its current arsenal of 100 nukes by 2021. The press obsesses on Iran maybe someday building an atomic bomb. Terrorist cells train in Pakistan in the vicinity of 100-plus nuclear warhead stockpiles TODAY. A Pakistani military and government already heavily infiltrated by jihadist sympathizers guard these Islamic A-bombs. The same military and government that often give Afghani Taliban logistical and intelligence support when they attack US and NATO forces occupying Afghanistan.

Iran is years away from having the ability to build atomic weapons. At any moment now, a Pakistani warhead or radioactive materials stockpiled to build hundreds more could be smuggled to the Taliban or what is left of al-Qaeda. The tools of nuclear terrorism can at any moment be smuggled out of Pakistani military bases and handed over to emerging and strengthening organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba. This Pakistani based jihadist network effectively shot up downtown Mumbai India in November 2008.

Iran may soon become a danger, but Pakistan, right now, IS a danger and its growing instability becomes a more clear and present threat to human peace and stability than what the Iranians may or may not be doing with their nuclear civilian program at this time. I predict it will be proven that Iran is only learning how to make an atomic bomb. They will not actually build them. Israel introduced these awful weapons of mass atomic destruction into the Middle East in the 1960s. They now have an arms race lead of an estimated 80 to 300 warheads. It is impossible to catch up given the scrutiny and economic sanctions placed on Iran.

Rattle, rattle, rattle goes the sword of war in its scabbard, daily and nightly on the 24-hour news cycles of corporately left-leaning CNN to corporately right-leaning Fox News propaganda organs of the politically two-faced aristocracy of our times. The elites do not cite bloodlines as their reason for being the alpha male and female class. They cite bottom lines of immense hoards of corporate wealth and influence over totalitarian and democratic government politicians of our day.

They have an agenda. They want to “inject” something into the backside of the Middle East to control the juice of their affluence, the black blood that runs our civilization: the last location of easy-to-drill petroleum that happens to lie underneath volatile Arab and Persian states. Since 2006 and in my book about war with Iran, I have been writing about a movement masquerading behind the US and Israeli governments that is neo-Imperialist, Neo-Conservative. It has the former deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz and the former Vice President Dick Cheney as its earliest author and editor of a manifesto first introduced shortly after the end of the Cold War, that strategically planned a new way for American superpower to remain relevant after the Soviet Union’s collapse. In short, America with help or unilaterally must take down the rogue regimes of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and the Islamic Revolutionary regime of Iran so that oil can run free and fully under the sphere of influence of the United States. If war and occupation must happen in Iraq and Iran, then so be it. As I listed in a recent article Israel Iran Strike, the Wolf, his Dick and many other leading figures in the Neo-Conservative movement crowded the G.W. Bush administration’s cabinet. They successfully pushed the US Congress in October of 2002 to grant war powers to the president based on a lot of saber rattling and no solid evidence that Saddam Hussein had a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction that was an imminent threat to the United States. All complete and hyperbolic BS, as it turned out, but it got the Neo-Conservatives half way to their goal, even though it did not get them the oil because the Bush administration proved to be a bungling gaggle of faux Imperialists. Saddam’s Iraq went down. Iran, you are next.

I have also been at pains to forewarn my readers that this cabal of Neo-Cons marries right wing corporate interests in the US to Zionist supremacists in Israel, which would have the US expend its treasure and its blood to fulfill the foreign policies of Israel. This has become an absurdist turn of events where the proxies control the superpower. I understand why Israel might seek to manipulate a friend and military giant to wage its wars and aggressive foreign policies in a region hostile to its existence. I understand why Iran might want to know how to build an atomic bomb when hundreds of Israeli warheads are pointed at its people, which an any point might be unleashed.

What you, my readers, need to understand is that Iran’s oil reserves are dwindling. Teheran plans in the next few decades to build 15 nuclear plants because the next generation of Iranians will need a new industry beyond the fading oil export industry, and a new source of electricity and power to generate it. Iran MUST go ahead with its nuclear program for its economic survival and the only way it can pay for it is to export oil while there is still oil to ship out through the Strait of Hormuz.

Cut its ability to export and you have cut Iran’s economic future below the knees. When you shut a country’s economy down and stop talking to them, you leave that country only a military option. More on that a little later.

Know this also, that Iran seeks like any other signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the knowledge to build atomic weapons.

Did we sanction Taiwan, South Korea, or Japan decades before when they tested and acquired the know-how to build atomic weapons, just in case a nuclear power like Communist China might threaten?

The saber rattles and rattles your attention away from the hypocrisies and big business oil and big business military players behind the facades of President Bush, President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

The war market is in a crisis. The infernal shop of conflict is closing for the moment in Iraq and in Afghanistan soon. There is ever less reason out there for US taxpayers to bankroll this capitalist welfare program that fields a Cold War sized Imperial US armed force after strategic threats requiring such a behemoth had vanished with the Cold War over 20 years ago. Global economic pressures also push America to downsize its stupendous military might. It is ten times more powerful than any armed force that could vaguely threaten. Now that Saddam is gone, the big boots of a Soviet sized bogeyman look even more ridiculous if you try to shove them on little, rat faced Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s feet.

A resumption of a global cold war with the Soviet replacement, the Russian Federation, is unlikely for now, so big war businessmen must seek a regional cold war business model. Iran is perfect for this. The military industrialists would prefer containing Iran for decades rather than a short sharp and messy conflict. The Cold War between the US and Soviet Union cost relatively few American lives, compared to the First and Second World Wars but made contractors in the Military Industrial Complex insanely rich off taxpayer’s dollars just preparing for, but not actually waging, doomsday. The same set up is happening in the Persian Gulf Cold War starting in 2012. Huge defense spending contracts and orders are already going through, soon to rebuild and reboot the air forces and missile defense systems of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States with the most modern and most pricey US weaponry on the market.

The more moderate puppet masters competing to pull the strings of the current US president and Israeli Prime Minister would seek to postpone a major war with Iran. Building and sustaining military deterrents is much more war profitable. At least postpone until the middle of the decade at the earliest because fantastic profits are theirs for the taking in a ramp up of Saudi and Gulf State rearmament for the next four years.

There is at the moment a more impatient set of polemical puppet masters of the Neo-Con-cum-Zionist faction of the military industrial complex that want to give Iran what I would call the “Japanese Ultimatum” – the no choice but war option. They know they cannot stop Iran from exploring nuclear weapons unless they can somehow push Teheran out of its passive aggressive foreign policy game into some precipitous action. All the last attempts during the Bush administration since 2005 through 2008 to create a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz in which most of the oil shipped by sea to the world passes failed because the Iranians did not take the provocative bait. They have not taken the bait in a clandestine war the US started waging inside Iran since 2005. Terrorists the US supports are available for weapons and bomb training in a number of non-Persian ethnic populations in Iran. The CIA and Israeli Mossad secret services have trained these to blow up hundreds of people in bombed planes, squares and mosques across Iran since 2005.

The serial assassination of nearly a half dozen nuclear physicists and scientists of late is just an escalation of this secret war of terrorism waged against Iranians by Israeli and CIA operatives.

Oh! I’m sorry. These roadside bombers aren’t terrorists. If the good guys blow women and children up with car bombs in crowded streets of Iran, they are “freedom fighters.”

Now, to be fair, Iran’s government is getting its own back. They wage clandestine war against Israel ever since this secret war started, using the proxies of Hezbollah and have sent military trainers by the hundreds to teach Hezbollah terrorists how to launch imported Iranian rockets falling on innocent Israeli civilians. A large part of the 5,000 US and Coalition soldiers killed in Iraq and to some extent Afghanistan were fatally maimed by an ever more deadly evolution of Iranian manufactured roadside bombs.

The Iranian-US-Israeli regional Cold War has been on since 2005, yet in 2012, it could go potentially hot, like the global cold war between the US and the Soviet Union almost did during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Especially now that the Neo-Cons are doing everything they can through the media and through political pressure in the US to push upon Obama the “Japanese Ultimatum” against Iran.

In late 2011, the US Senate voted unanimously to enact a regimen of sanctions handed to President Obama that would cripple Iran’s one economic lifeline, its oil exports. Obama would prefer to push the Iranians in increments, but forces pulling the strings and holding the financial purses of Democratic and Republican puppets in the Senate have pressed for an escalation that will, if successful, end all political support for a negotiated solution in Iran.

It is kind of a reverse image of what happened to Imperial Japan just before they went to war with the US in 1941. The expansion, indeed the survival, of the Japanese Empire depended on foreign exports of steel and oil to fuel and arm its military. Most of these exports came from America. When President Franklin D. Roosevelt put an embargo on all oil and steel exports to Japan, he forced the diplomats out of power in Tokyo. War hawk officers filled the void in the Japanese Cabinet of Emperor Hirohito. Negotiations had turned to ultimatums from America to get out of Indo-China and China. In less than a year, Japan’s military machine would cease to work. No country with a war machine and Imperial intentions, be they Japan in the 1940s or Neo-Conned America in the 21st century, will let their forces run out of steel and fuel. War was the only option Japan had. They attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 to destroy the US Pacific Fleet so their own fleet and army could conquer the oil fields of Indonesia without US threat.

History past becomes history future, relatively easy to forecast, because people keep conditioning their new generations to repeat the same stupid mistakes. All the elements of the Japan Ultimatum are in this Iran Ultimatum passed by the US Senate. Oil is again the catalyst for war, only this time it is not oil denied to Iran’s domestic industries and military forces. Iranian oil exports will be severely restrained “from” Iran.

Rather than aid a negotiated settlement, like with Japan, the cynical intention of these sanctions is to flush out any remaining doves from the Iranian government, which has already become more militarized and dominated by its own General Hideki Tojos, the officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. If you want to force the hand of war, push sanctions that are impossible to economically survive. Threaten a nation’s economic existence.

There is another objective, more cynical and dreadful happening here and Iran is only the bait, not the target. The target is a slow but fragile recovery of the US economy during a presidential election year. There are well-financially-healed oligarchic forces in the world influencing American politics that could easily absorb a temporary financial hit in 2012 if it takes down the Obama administration and what is left of the toe hold the Democrats have in the US Senate.

The creeping coup of a corporate aristocracy had already conquered the US Supreme Court in 2010 and received their “equal citizen status” allowing an empowered plutocracy to flood money and influence to decide the US elections according to what their money can buy and what you human citizens of America cannot lobby and possibly match fund.

The real reason why a push for war with Iran goes on whilst the real danger of nuclear terrorist proliferation remains unaddressed in Pakistan, is to create a false flag crisis in the Persian Gulf that disrupts oil flow out of the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan needs to go radical so the same Neo-Cons who looked the other way to let 9-11 terror attacks on America happen, can yet again resurrect a jihadist bogeyman that will require decades of deterrent military spending.

But I get ahead of myself. First, false flag a conflict with Iran in 2012. The Strait of Hormuz is closed to oil traffic. The skyrocketing oil prices will then temporarily push the US economy back into a recession. The economic downturn will be blamed on President Obama. A little war of gunboats in the Strait of Hormuz might just tip the economy back into 10 percent unemployment and convince enough voters that Obama and the Democrats controlling the Senate need to be flushed out with their votes in November 2012. A far more big business friendly Republican president and Congress in Washington would lead to a speedier dismantling of the US democracy in the name of smaller government.

Nevertheless, I believe this attempt by corporate forces will not be successful. The president will use his discretion in 2012 to attempt measured application of the Iranian sanctions. There may be a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz no later than June through August 2012. Even if there was a brief naval skirmish in 2012, it is only preliminary to the ultimate military showdown Nostradamus’ astrology seems to frame for the years 2015 and 2016.

Babies are easily distracted. The saber’s rattle of corporate interests might backfire when a baby’s attention catches upon something else that is bright and shiny, like a diplomatic breakthrough that only the threat of war might propel in the 11th hour concession from Teheran. Iran may take the enemy away from the military industrial complex pushers and surrender their nuclear weapon aspirations in 2012; or, at least achieve gaining some time in that tried and true Iranian tradition of diplomatic stalling.

Iran is a country that knows how to buy time. It has lasted for 3,000 years. However, if real diplomatic breakthroughs are not forthcoming in 2012, Iran is only buying time up to 2015 or 2016 when a terrible war showdown will come out of its skies and melt its fleets of motorboats in the Persian Gulf. Another fleet might be melted and sunk as well. Nostradamus leaves that potential open.

A conflict between Iranians and Western forces was certainly foretold in one of Nostradamus’ prophecies where he named the Strait of Hormuz outright by the name it held during the 16th century. We will examine the prophecy in my next article.

I wrote the above eight months ago at the beginning of the bloody decline and fall of Libyan strongman, Muhammar Gaddafi’s regime. Yesterday (20 October 2011), Libyan NTC (National Transitional Council) fighters rooted Gaddafi out of a drainage pipe after his convoy of 11 trucks tried to make a run for it out of his tribal home city of Sirte, Libya, after his last stand had collapsed.

Libyan "technicals" are trucks suped up with mounted heavy machine guns. The term "techical" came from the Mad Max trucks of Somali militia.

After dawn prayers, Gaddafi with about 100 die-hard followers and black African mercenaries, raced down the coastal road west to Misruata in beat up trucks and SUVs bristling with heavy armament. This rag-tag rout in camouflage and green bandanas must have looked like extras in a post apocalyptic NASCAR drag race in a scene from Mel Gibson’s Mad Max movies.

They didn’t get too far “beyond Thunderdome”, as it were – the bombed out “barter town” of Sirte laid waste and desolate by two weeks of unremitting bombardment and street battles with Libyan NTC rebels. This surreal, true life Mad Max movie met up with “Top Gun” about 1.5 kilometers outside of Sirte. Not in the cross hairs of a real-life ace Tom Cruise in a US Navy fighter-bomber. He was a French Mirage NATO pilot with a US Drone for company. Both plastered Gaddafi’s convoy with missiles. The remains of 11 melted, toffee-twisted auto wrecks and the fritter-mummified bodies of 50 of Gaddafi’s entourage attest to the violence of the French and US hell-fire missile pounding. One of the unidentified bodies might yet be that of Gaddafi’s eldest son and heir apparent, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

The eyewitness reports get a bit confused beyond the fact that Gaddafi and up to half of his guards piled out of the trucks just before they sprouted fireballs and headed for a copse of trees and two storm pipes to make their last stand. Rapidly on their heals where NTC fighters disembarking from a motor column of Mad Max-like armed “technical” trucks, no less post-apocalyptic looking than what had been rolling along and now melting on the tarmac that was Gaddafi’s column moments before.

We are told a firefight ensued, lasting several hours with losses heavy on both sides. Gaddafi’s guards began surrendering and it is said the strongman emerged from the drainage pipe asking what the NTC fighters wanted (guess!) before they started roughing him up, ripping handfuls of toupee off his head.

These NTC fighters are the only witnesses of what happened next. Gaddafi’s surviving soldiers were led away from the road to an uncertain future lined up against a wall, I expect. One al-Jazeera video clip displays a black African Gaddafi soldier, bare chested, lashed to a double-A anti-aircraft machine gun welded to a truck bed speeding through Sirte. To where? Only Mad Max knows.

The story gets scrambled. Did Gaddafi emerge from the sewer drain unscathed after the firefight? Was he wounded in the shoulder and clipped by a bullet on the left side of his head while he was crouched like a sewer rat in there? Cell phone movies of him bathed in his own gore with blood coming out of his ears and mouth may indicate concussion wounds from the explosion of NATO French missile fire. Perhaps the wielder of the cell phone video was too busy joining his mates kicking the crap out of Gaddafi before a videography of his bloody mask of a face had been recorded. What is clear in the chaotic cell phone movies is that Gaddafi was alive when he was dragged to a truck – then “fell off the truck” – then dragged again to a waiting ambulance ready to rush him under guard of a cavalcade of other road warrior trucks honking their horns in celebration to Misurata for medical treatment. According to Prime Minister Jibril of the provisional Libyan government in the capital of Tripoli, Gaddafi “died” en route from a bullet shot through the head in the crossfire of a firefight with pro-Gaddafi insurgents and NTC technicals.

Cell phone video shows the aftermath. The dead dictator, the gore washed from his face this time, is dumped on the dirty road with a bullet hole in his forehead just above his left eye. Framed in another cell phone camera, we see of the corpse “cleaned up.” We see the fatal gunshot wound. The ambulance drivers apparently could not touch up the gunpowder burn on the skin indicating death by “cross fire” at close range of a gun muzzle pointed “against” the forehead by a 9 millimeter pistol. This is the same caliber of a gold plated pistol taken from Gaddafi when he was captured.

At the time of this writing Gaddafi’s corpse is on display in a refrigerator cargo trailer in Misurata for anyone to visit. The provisional Libyan government acquiesced to NATO and UN requests for an independent post mortem of Gaddafi to prove he was killed in cross fire rather than by a gun totting mob of scarcely trained NTC rebel soldiers. All pretense of civility aside, it is pretty clear that Gaddafi met a very blood-soaked end “Romanian-style”, just as my oracle had foreseen 8 months ago in the passage above – summarily executed by his captors, perhaps with his own pistol at close range.

History has a weird way of repeating itself. In 1989, the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu a close ally to Gaddafi in better days, also was caught fleeing his enraged and armed people. When his Communist regime fell a similar orgy of massacres and bloody street fighting ensued. He and his right hand “man” (Elena his brutish wife) tried to escape but were caught by police and delivered to Romanian soldiers who after the briefest of trials, lined them both against a wall and executed them. Like Gaddafi, their bullet-riddled bodies were filmed for posterity.

I enlarged upon explaining my Ceausescu-style execution prediction made in February the following month when NATO enacted its no-fly zone over Libya effectively taking sides in the civil war against Gaddafi’s forces, which were on the approaches of the rebel stronghold of Benghazi – the outcome at the time was uncertain:

The fall in late 1989 of the East German Communist regime Erich Honeker regime in East Berlin caused a regional chain reaction across Eastern Europe with communist dictatorships falling mostly with a whimper except one: the eccentric strongman Nicolae Ceausescu of Romania, every inch as daffy a dictator as Gaddafi. Relinquish power? Only over his dead body, like Gaddafi threatens today.

I predict Gaddafi and his son and successor Saif al-Islam (Sword of Islam) will die like Ceausescu, but unlike the Romanian bloodbath, it may not end the relatively brief fighting in the streets. Conflict could be protracted. Gaddafi may be dead soon but the fighting will not end with his life like Ceaucescu. It may only be the beginning of fighting between Libyans unless the same allies setting up a no-fly zone step in for a generation’s time to help them build a modern democratic nation.

Fictional "technicals" of Mad Max movies.

The real work starts now. And this most tribal of Arab nations must find common ground and soon, otherwise the Libyan Revolution of 2011 with become a Balkan-style, Bosnian-Herzegovinian Libyan Civil War of 2012-2013 I also foresaw pitting tribal interests and grudges against achieving national unity. In this worst-case scenario, Libya becomes the Somalia of North Africa, a failed state in ruins, a haven for Islamic jihadist terrorist bases better able to strike the soft underbelly of bankrupt Mediterranean European nations as seems to be implied in the prophecies of Nostradamus.

Let us review a few prophecies of Nostradamus related to Gaddafi, the details of his death and a possible aftermath. Five months and ten days ago I recorded the following comment about the “death by dart” theme of quatrain (2 Q70) alluding to the Adaluncatif (Gaddafi Luna) quatrain (10 Q96) published in Nostradamus’ Les Propheties, way back in the years 1555 and 1558 respectively. At the time I wrote this below, the NATO no fly zone had just been initiated:

The air hunt for Gaddafi is on. This leads me to wonder if at this moment a prophecy penned four-and-a-half centuries ago by the French seer Nostradamus may be weeks, days or moments from fulfillment. Nostradamus’ prophecies most often see the future through the actions of his future countrymen and women of France, so the following prophecy has a very good chance for being applied to a target of future French air forces allied to a coalition of other European, US and Arab League air forces converging over Libya.

Five months and 20 days later, Gaddafi is killed. Osama buried at sea linked to that act connecting his fate with Gaddafi because of the strange riddle that opens a prophecy naming Gaddafi in an anagram:

Let us translate it line by line:

The Religion named after the ocean will overcome…

Actions of others can stand as a date. Around the same time Gaddafi’s compound was bombed by US F-111 fighter-bombers in retaliation for a Berlin disco bombing, Indian mystic Osho was on a world tour that famously had him thrown out of 21 countries because of CIA pressure brought about by the Reagan Administration. Osho means “oceanic.” While he was on his world tour, a CIA jet shadowed him at every stop. Osho and his entourage where forced by the local government to leave soon after. It did not matter if passports and visas were in order. Such was the case in March 1986 when Osho nearly found a haven in Uruguay after being hustled out of Greece. In May, when the process of getting a visa to permanently stay was nearly complete, in came the CIA plane and he had to leave. The next day, President Reagan extended the deadline of debt payments of loans sent to Uruguay and generously added more US aid. A month before, other US jets sent a missile into Gaddafi’s personal quarters. The shattered bedroom had a wall-sized photo-mural of the Libyan coastline and ocean. Does this connect Osho (oceanic) and the Gaddafi “oceanic”? Perhaps.

“KS”, one of my readers, today offers a thoughtful possibility that I will refine. Those of the ocean are the North “Atlantic” Treaty Organization, i.e. NATO. This organization took down Gaddafi by bombing his offensive assets, giving the rebels a chance to succeed.

Now to line 2:

…Against the sect of the son Adaluncatif…

Back in 1986, I proposed for the first time in Nostradamian study that Adaluncatif is an anagram for Gaddafi Luna or Gaddafi of the Crescent, Islam. Here is how that is possible:

Take out “Luna” for “moon”. That leaves you “adcatif”. Phonetic replacements allow the “c” to be the “cah” sound for “cadafi” (Khaddafi or Gaddafi). The “t” is the one letter dropped, as per the anagram rules. I would add that before Gaddafi changed the Libyan flag to a green field, it had the crescent of Islam in white in the original tri-color that the current insurgency has resurrected. Now to line 3 and 4:

…The obstinate, deplored [Gaddafi] sect will be afraid,
Of the two wounded Aleph (A) and Aleph (A).

A and A is a possible riddle for Gaddafi the father and his son and heir, Saif (a)l-Islam (a)l-Gaddafi, being mortally wounded. The source of this wound is described in 2 Q70 as a “dart”, i.e. a 16th-century attempt to describe the falling, pointed warhead of a missile fired perhaps on 20 October 2011 by a French Mirage jet on Gaddafi’s truck column. Nostradamus describes a “machine of flying fire” in 6 Q34 that lets lose the “dart” described in 2 Q70.

Du feu volant la machination,
Viendra troubler au grand chef assiegez:
Dedans sera telle sedition,
Qu’en desespoir seront les profligez.

From the machine of flying fire,
It will come to trouble the besieged chief:
Within there will be such sedition,
That the dissolute ones will be in despair.

Line 1 could describe the French Mirage jet or the US Drone used in the bomb strike on Gaddafi’s column. Line 2 describes Gaddafi’s desperate situation. He is the “besieged chief” in Sirte trying to make a breakout. Lines 3 and 4 could describe the disarray and rout of Gaddafi’s surviving soldiers and the last true believers of his dissolute, evil. They are driven by desperation out of his tribal home to a fiery and bloody end on the road to Misurata.

Now the “dart” (missile) prophecy of 2 Q70:

Le dard du ciel fera son estendue,
Mors en parlant: grande execution:
La pierre en l’arbre la fiere gent rendue,
Bruit humain monstre purge expiation.

The dart from the sky will make its extension,
Deaths in speaking: Great execution:
The stone in the tree [arbor], the proud people surrendered,
Clamor, human monster, purge, expiation.

Line 1: If I were a 16th-century man trying to describe an elongated and finned hell-fire missile or any finned bomb ordinance detaching from the wing of a French jet I might call it a “dart.” This missile or aerial bomb makes its full extension from launch to blast impact among the gathered trucks of Gaddafi’s men. Since Nostradamus heard as well as saw his future visions, line 2 might imply the drivers and men piled in the truck were cut down by supersonic missiles in mid-speech coming from on high from a source they could not see or hear because of the altitude and speed of extending death approaching. What happened reminds me of something I wrote in June about his foretold death coming from a French source:

Nostradamus best sees the future through his French eyes, his French conditioning and how it directly affects future French people.

The French under President Nicolas Sarkozy have been the most bellicose of the NATO allies in prosecuting an air war against Gaddafi’s military assets. From the start, French air forces have openly targeted Libyan command and control targets as ruthlessly as they can in the hopes of killing the assumptive heir and the dictator of Libya. I predict it will be revealed in the future that Sarkozy’s French military policy in Libya is decapitation of the Gaddafi regime. He intends — and he will succeed — in launching a dart or “missile” from the sky that will cause the great execution of Gaddafi in mid speech (deaths in speaking). He will start a sentence he will not complete as a French missile takes him out.

It may be an interesting coincidence only. The quatrain’s indexing (70) is a near miss for the year 1969 when Gaddafi overthrew King Idris of Libya.

This future was a near miss by French missile strikes. Gaddafi survived though blast effects could have injured him. Review again lines 3 and 4 of the above quatrain:

The stone in the tree [arbor], the proud people surrendered,
Clamor, human monster, purge, expiation.

Remember, Gaddafi and the surviving men ran under the cover of trees to hide inside two cement drainage pipes. Thus line 3’s riddle implies the stone (cement) and the tree (the tree cover). After a fire fight Gaddafi’s bodyguards surrendered. Gaddafi is described in one report emerging from the drain pipe standing proudly with head held upright demanding who the attackers where and what did they want with him (the proud people surrendered).

Line 4 may forecast in Nostradamus’ mind the images and shouting of “God is Great!” in Arabic, yet unborn for centuries to come when it would be recorded by cell phones. He may have seen centuries ago what we saw just recently, the clamor of the crowd of excited young rebel fighters pulling and punching at Gaddafi. The human monster is the gore soaked and wounded dictator looking like a bloody demon in Nostradamus’ vision. The purge of his followers shot down by missiles and gunfire. The expiation is Gaddafi in his final moments violently paying for the crimes of his 42-year terror of his people with his life.

I would like to hope that the final words of this prophecy lead after a difficult process of catharsis, purging and atonement to a national restitution of the wrong done to the Libyan people that will soon after bring a period of peace and unity to the country.

One way or the other I predict it will happen. It will happen either now through a democratic process, or after 2013 when a tribal civil war coming in the aftermath of Gaddafi’s death burns itself out.

I wonder though if this new riddle from Nostradamus may warn what is coming next in Libya and the Arab revolutions because it may be naming the provisional Prime Minister of Libya here in a quatrain indexed 1 Q56 in Nostradamus’ prophecies:

Vous verrez tost & tard faire grand change,
Horreurs extremes & vindications:
Que si la lune conduicte par son ange,
Le Ciel s’approche des inclinations.

You will see, sooner and later, great changes made,
Extreme horrors and vengeances:
For as the moon (of Islam) is thus led by its angel,
The heavens draw near to the reckoning.

The crescent Moon is the sign of Islam. The new Libyan flag has a white crescent in the middle black stripe of its red, black and green tricolor design. The Angel Gabriel is said to have appeared to Muhammad who helped him found Islam. The name of Gabriel in Arabic is Jibril. The Prime Minister of the provisional government of Libya is named “Jibril.”

There is a lot of sensational rumor leaking out of the FBI like a broken inkwell for thumbprints, black and obscure, very messy! Apparently an Iranian-US citizen acted as go-between on visits to Teheran with operatives of the al-Quds Revolutionary Guards to pay for and hire Mexican cartel hit men to cross the US border and assassinate the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. They would throw a bomb into his lunch plate at a crowded local restaurant in Washington DC then hurl bombs at the Israeli Embassy. The blood money pledged was ridiculously low for any Mexican cartel to reap the whirlwind of US retaliation, a mere 1.4 million bucks. That will get you  a sack of cocaine.

I have watched Iran since my Boeing 747 Air India flight made a memorable midnight run over the Persian Gulf during the first week of the Iran-Iraq War in September 1980 while I was on my way to meet Osho in India for the first time.

The details coming out of FBI agent’s mouths – and flummoxing Senators debriefed on 13 October by such – are as clouded as Octopus ink and it is just as fishy. The whole story stinks to me.

It stinks of right-wing elements in the US and Israeli governments waving a false flag. These elements would still like to see plan B of their strategic goals achieved even in an Obama first or second term. This newly “discovered” Iran terror plot sounds like a semi-fictional incident (like WMDs in Iraq). It is intended to distract people away from a growing Occupy Wall Street national now “international” movement and perhaps distract people’s attention in Israel away from the steady progress of the Palestinian Authority towards some form of sovereign status in the United Nations by “trick or treat” time – Halloween.

It seems like a good time for government back door propaganda to stifle dissent in America and Israel with an ultimate and nationally uniting action. Let us make up a war with Iran and in the venture take down its Islamic Fundamentalist Theocracy. This whole terror plot smells of shadow elements in the Israeli and American governments that would like to accomplish the destruction of the Iranian regime.

That aim has been the Zionist/Neo-Conservative agenda fomented by the former Vice President Dick Cheney as far back as 1992 when Cheney as editor and a future G.W. Bush deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, authored the Neo-Con movement’s first of many evolving manifestos published after the fall of the Soviet Union. These sought to convince Americans of a new enemy to sustain the military industrial complex of the US superpower after the end of the Cold War. After the Soviet colossus fell Iraq and Iran, modestly if fairly fit the bill. They both were radically governed nations bestride some of the largest oil reserves in the world that sustained the United States “and” Western civilization with crude oil. These rogue regimes, perhaps rightfully, had to go, either by economic pressure or through unilateral invasion if global consensus was not forthcoming.

The Neo-Conservatives moved from theory to power in 2001 with G.W. Bush’s administration initially crowding their number in top cabinet posts.

Bill Kristol is the current editor of the Weekly Standard and a number of Neo-Con papers including one published in September 2000 just before the Bush-Gore presidential debates musing about the need for a “Peal Harbor” event to advance Neo-Conservative agendas. Kristol, who like many Neo-Cons enjoys dual citizenship as an American and Israeli citizen, and who also think tanks for Israeli foreign policy, has called for open war with Iran saying about this recently exposed terror plot, “We have an engraved invitation.” Since 1998, Kristol lobbied for war with Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq and said a fortnight after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that “even if evidence does not link Iraq directly to the attack, any strategy aiming at the eradication of terrorism and its sponsors must include a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from power." Kristol advocated this stance in 2002 through early 2003 as a board member to the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq that lobbied hard to successfully convince Congress to vote G.W. Bush war powers to invade Iraq.

In 2000, a Neo-Con manifesto openly pondered the need for a “Pearl Harbor event” to hasten their goals. Surprise, surprise! They got one on 11 September 2001 with al-Qaeda’s aid. Now they had their national emergency and Congress grasped by its left or right leaning “balls.” The Neo-cons could make their puppet president do or say whatever they wanted because the hysteria of national unity stifled rational critics. By false flag WMD scares, they succeeded in 2003 taking down Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime. Iran was next.

US Plans for war studied and rehearsed from 2004 through 2006 were so brazen that I felt it was time to collect Nostradamus’ many references to a war in our future between Israel and America versus Iran because it seemed imminent. The first of two astrological windows for war were open during 2007. If the first closed, the next window would open in the near future in not far off 2015-2016.

In 2006, I began composing an e-book that matched up Nostradamus prophecies with the lightly veiled apocalyptic motives of leaders in the three potential combatant states. First in America’s highest office you have evangelical Christian war hawks in the Neo-Conservative cabinet of a president who famously said that “God” told him to invade Iraq and Iran was next. You had similar latter-day aspirations murmured by the Israeli cabinet and prime minister – some openly musing that war with Iran would be a portent for the Jewish Messiah soon to come. You had Iranian President Ahmadinejad loudly and notoriously proclaim his apocalyptic aspirations for Israel being “wiped off the map of history.” Even now the Iranian president opens every public speech, even before the United Nations, with a prayer for the return of the Mahdi. He is the 12th Imam, the final prophet who will reappear from his occultation to bring on an Islamic Armageddon that will take back al-Quds (the Iranian name for Jerusalem) and make the surviving Jews true believers of Islam.

The mainstream news as ever, overlooked the subconscious motivations beneath this three-way saber rattling for Armageddon. In early 2007, I deemed it was time to publish my findings about them and perhaps go on media outlets around the world exposing these prophetic motivations examining possible war scenarios of the 16^th century French prophet leading up to those purportedly recorded in the Hadith by Islam’s final prophet himself, Muhammad.

In that book Nostradamus: The War with Iran, I gathered a number of Nostradamus prophecies that pointed to a future military showdown with Persia (modern day Iran) by Western forces. These verses using contemporary names from the 16th century even mentioned the Persian Gulf and its narrow opening, the Strait of Hormuz, as the site of a future naval and air battles where a fleet will be “melted and sunk” by those of the “trident.”

As usual, there are layers to the riddles of Nostradamus’ wordplay. The seemingly obvious solution modern people might apply is a US “trident” class submarine that melts and sinks an Iranian surface fleet that consists of an armada of thousands of small boats — none of which are larger in tonnage than corvettes armed with a brace of Chinese silk missiles. Certainly the overwhelming force of Trident submarines or the hail of fiery death descending from missiles fired by US Navy carrier jets, cruisers, frigates and destroyers would be enough to “melt” and sink any suicidal attack by a flotilla of PT 109-pint sized Kamikaze craft piloted by Iranian Shahid (martyrs).

Indeed, Nostradamus may have named the US fleet obscured in another interesting word riddle. They are called “the True Serpent.” If you look down 4.5 centuries of Nostradamus’ future history of the world that has become our past, you will often find his riddles and descriptions using nicknames or flags flown by armies and or fleets of water and even air. For instance, we have “those of the Sun” in Century 5 Quatrain 11 of Nostradamus’ history of the future Les Propheties:

Mer par solaires seure ne passera,
Ceux de Venus tiendront toute l’Affrique:
Lure regne plus Sol, Saturne n’occupera,
Et changera la part Asiatique.

Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety,
Those of Venus will hold all of Africa:
Their realm will no longer be occupied by Sun (and) Saturn,
And the Asiatic part will change.

Reference to those of the Sun standing alone is open to many possibilities, but the reference to Venus (a code name for “Venice”) is often used by Nostradamus to describe fascist Italy during the Second World War. Though Italy had possession of Libya, Somalia and Ethiopia at the start of the war, they did not achieve control of Africa, unless this is one of Nostradamus’ alternative futures only partially fulfilled. Saturn’s color is as black as Italian Black Shirts and German Gestapo SS troops, symbols of Axis fascism

The Battle of Midway, by R.G. Smith. Three Japanese fleet carriers take direct and fatal hits from US Navy Dauntless dive bombers, turning the tide of the war on the Pacific Ocean in June 1942. "Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety," wrote Nostradamus 386 years earlier. Perhaps his vision foresaw the great red suns painted on the carrier decks?

Those of the “Sun” describe the third Axis ally: the Imperial Japanese fleet, visualized in Nostradamus’ nightly reveries in trance as dark gray warships flying the rising sun flag. The US Navy and the Army Air Forces would nearly sink the entire Japanese fleet in the Second World War. The fall of the Japanese empire forever changed Asia, ending its colonial hold and that of Western empires in a series of popular anti-colonial rebellions in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and also witness the rise of a sleeping giant, the People’s Republic of China.

The true serpent fighting the Persians in our future may be another reference to a naval flag. In my book about Nostradamus’ predictions for Iran, I said the following:

Every ship in this vast US armada flies the US flag and a US Navy Jack. Note that it is a flag with thirteen red and white stripes over which an American Rattlesnake crawls under the motto “Don’t Tread on Me!” It is only in recent times that all ships of the American Navy hoist this flag. On May 22, 2002, the U.S. Navy ordered all ships to display the First Navy Jack as long as the War on Terrorism continued. Ceremonies to raise the flag of the “true” serpent took place on every US Naval ship on 11 September 2002, the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the “Pearl Harbor” event that launched the world war of terrorism.

On some near future date, or perhaps as late as 2015, the “true serpent” will “invade” the waters of the Persian Gulf.

So, with that said, is war with Iran about to break out earlier than the astrological window of 2015-2016?

My answer is emphatic.

It is no.

Gaming out this news of an Iranian terror plot this week is a propagandized step towards such a war happening when the astrological aspects I described in detail in the book open the potential for conflict once again about four to five years hence. Indeed the Navy Jack takes on new symbolic significance.

The true serpent flag is also the symbol of the American Tea Party. Perhaps in 2016 there will be elected a president of the United States who is a member of that “true serpentine party”? How ironic it would be if the party that often promotes America pulling out of wars in the Middle East actually got their man or woman into the White House who then led America into its third and most disastrous war.

Another scenario would have President Obama in his second term, co-opted by a Tea Party controlled Congress who pushes him into signing on to Neo-Conservative aspirations for a war after years of negotiation with Iran went nowhere. It is a fact that Obama at present has chosen diplomacy first in his efforts to take Iran out of the nuclear arms race with Israel. However, he has left the apocalyptic door open that G.W. Bush and his Neo-Con handler, Dick Cheney, had closed in their faces by events at the end of Bush’s second term.

Occupy Wall Street Goes Global
This is not a movement of hippies, corporate media hacks and it is far bigger and more mainstream already than the Tea Party ever was. Occupy Wall Street keeps gaining momentum across the United States with polls showing 75 percent of Americans sympathetic or in full support of the movement. This weekend it spreads to “Occupy” movements across the world in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Three thousand gathered before the London stock exchange, and six thousand plan to camp, Ziccotti Park NY style, before the European Central Bank headquarter in Frankfurt. Demonstrations where held in 50 other German cities including 6,000 demonstrators in Berlin and 1,500 in Cologne. Thousands also gathered before banks and stock exchanges in Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong China and Tokyo Japan.

The demonstrations in the US are at last showing results politically with Secretary of Treasury and Secretary of State, Tim Geithner and Hillary Clinton sending clear signals Friday that more bank reforms are coming and must come.

On an ominous note, peaceful protests on Friday and today were eclipsed in Rome with widespread violence. The blazing cars, shattered shop, and bank glass windows of Roman streets can be the future of this movement around the world next year in 2012, because Italy is far closer to economic default. Politicians are running out of time if they do not legislate banking reforms before this peaceful global movement must get their attention by rioting.

Are Atlantic Tsunamis coming Next?

Tsunamis come in protest movements. Will they be coming as waves flooding the North Atlantic coastlines of Brazil, America and Europe? The windswept El Hierro Island in the Canary Island chain for months now has endured a significant earthquake swarm symptomatic of an imminent volcanic eruption. Unconfirmed reports of volcanic material floating off El Hierro’s coast might indicate a submarine eruption has begun.

In prehistoric times a large piece of El Hierro sloughed off into the Atlantic no doubt causing a catastrophic tsunami. The satellite photos showing a green subsea plume of a purported fissure in the island’s undersea shelf on the south side may presage an underwater landslide that might cause a tsunami, though I doubt it would generate any to match the previous monster wave that raged off its northern shore in prehistoric times.

This situation deserves watching, but some websites are practicing prophetic hyperbole by inaccurately comparing El Hierro to its larger volcanic island neighbor Las Palmas as the same, even in photos used. For now, Las Palmas is inactive, so those of you who think a 130-to-160-foot wave will crash into the US eastern seaboard eight hours after an imminent landslide are mixing your mega disaster metaphors and islands. Moreover, most of El Hierro’s tsunami energy would go south to the West African coast all the way to Antarctica, not west, if we were talking about Las Palmas.

I consulted my oracle about El Hierro. In the worst case scenario a tsunami might arise as devastating to other Canary Islands as that which flooded Japan in March of 2011. The main visitations with sporadic harbor and coastal damage like what was experienced in the Hawaiian Islands and Santa Cruz California from the Japanese tsunami would range along the sparsely populated Western Sahara southwards to the Mauritanian coast down to the city of Dakar, in Senegal.

My oracle at this point does not see a major tsunami coming out of a future eruption of El Hierro. It is much more concerned with El Hierro’s volcanism triggering a Las Palmas eruption causing half the geologically unstable, western coastal mountainside of the island to suddenly slip into the Atlantic. Such an event would be a civilization-changing catastrophe sending a tsunami up to 160 feet high roaring 4.5 miles inland over the coasts of Brazil, French Guyana, Surname, Guyana, east Venezuela, the Caribbean islands of the Lesser Antilles, and the US Atlantic seaboard!

Europe would also be hit by significant tsunamis between 16 and 23 feet high, nearly as destructive as those inundating the Honshu coastal towns and Sendai airport, would visit Ireland, Iceland, England, France and Spain. The Canary Islands and the nearby mainland coastline of southwestern Morocco and the neighboring nation of Western Sahara might witness a tsunami flood 300 feet high!

I have been making US presidential predictions since Nixon beat Humphrey in 1968. Forty-four years later and with an 11-and-0 track record my oracle begins to see the shape of potentials to come in the 12th auguring. That is, I am beginning to get a clearer understanding who will lose either in a close election or a landslide against the candidate that for years now I have already and consistently predicted will win the 2012 election.

My predictions across 44 years often do not match my personal choices pushed into the ballot box every presidential election. What I have been saying on Coast to Coast AM and writing in these blogs since early 2009 has angered many of you who lean on the right politically. Now in fairness, my predictions today will attempt to make people on both extremes of the political spectrum have an opportunity to either be angry with the messenger or look at their political attachments.

I have said over the years that the one man who could defeat incumbent President Barack Obama will not be running in 2012. The man was a credible governor of a key, and economically vibrant US state. He was a capable leader during times of natural disasters and most importantly, someone who can tango with the hard core right during Republican primaries, get nominated and then do what Richard Nixon so shrewdly did in 1968, deftly moderate his message to woo the center where most American voters, the independents, the largest block of voters, politically live. The man who can beat Obama if he ran in 2012 had one problem though: the wrong name — Bush.

Former Florida State Governor Jeb Bush has his older brother’s name. Rightly or wrongly, President George W. Bush (2001-2009) is someone most Republicans want to stuff in the bag of forgetting where they stuffed Nixon. They want to dump that history and move on to take back the White House. Thus you have to white wash your hands of an administration that was in power when America suffered its deadliest, unprotected surprise attack, wiped out a national economic surplus, ballooned the national debt at record levels spending it on ruinous military occupations and nation building projects in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, it did little to nothing to moderate Wall Street and Banking abuses, or reform a ballooning financially baloney housing market that deflated when the Great Recession crashed in as a catastrophic punctuation to eight catastrophically mediocre years in office.

Jeb Bush is politically intuitive as well. He knows that Bush Fatigue will keep him out of a presidential run. The US Senate is his next move and I predict that is as far as he will go up the political ladder this life.

Democratic and Republican Parties thrive on nourishing the short-term memories of the voting public. The Obama re-election campaign would waste a big portion of the billion dollars they will collect if they dump it in ads going down a sinkhole of Bush blame.

This Recession is now Obama’s Great Recession, as are the two economically ruinous military adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama now adds a new war in Libya and indirect military involvement to come in Syria. (Yes, that is coming, albeit under the auspices of a UN effort.)

Obama will have to own these wars and economic challenges if he wants to own success in solving them. Between now and the November 2012 presidential election night, he will take America out of Iraq and mostly out of Afghanistan as I predicted years ago.

The Libyan Civil war will go on, with indirect US logistical support well into 2013. That is despite today’s kafuffle of a constitutional dispute seeing both Democrats and Republican congressional legislators suing the president for ignoring the upcoming 60-day limit to prosecuting his war powers in Libya without congressional approval.

None of this will actually threaten Obama’s bid for a second term more than the rise of a new Ronald Reagan from Texas. If a Bush from Texas might have soured Jeb Bush’s future as president of the United States, a tall, God loving and charismatic Texan getting into the presidential political arena in the near future is the GOP’s Great White Hope against Obama in 2012.

Texas Governor Rick Perry has the best chance of beating the president after Jeb Bush. His social conservative merits are unquestioned, so the extreme right is mollified by his anti-abortion, anti-gay (do not ask do not tell), evangelical Christian beliefs that support “intelligent design” creationism as a viable scientific theory.

Perry’s long time marriage with his childhood sweetheart is morally solid. There is no Newt Gingrich talking up religious right themes while walking out on three marriages with three sinful and adulterous affairs. There is no Romney-care to explain or apologize for. Perry is pro-tax reform and pro-states rights to the point of thinking out loud about secession and he has publicly Goddamned the government he would captain if elected to Washington. He is pro-Life, pro-business with a big Texan “B”, pro-drilling baby drill and he is not a Mormon made of wooden personality wearing magic underwear. I am sorry, my Mormon readers, I must express a hard religious-political reality in the Grand Old Party. Enough core Republican primary voters view you as a cult that if they had a red-blooded, red-state governing, fire-breathing evangelical Christian to choose, the blue-state Mormon moderate Republican is out.

Perry is dashingly handsome too. Sorry Newt and your supporters. Ideas no matter how smart and compelling do not get a fat guy into the White House since President Taft a century ago.

Perry is pretty and he has the stature and avuncular Ameri-CAN machismo that all the best ideas wrapped in a corpulent, piggish body do not sell.

Heck! Perry even looks a bit like Ronald Reagan.

Perry has economic bragging rights Obama cannot yet match.

He runs a state that has weathered the Great Recession quite handily with respectable economic booms in the Austin Texas region, a growing housing market and a state economy that is on the move into the black — the black of Texas Tea, that is, black gold.

Texan success is based on something climate-illogically dubious: a fossil fuel industry set to take a fossil fuel-addicted global civilization down the toilet when the climate cascades out of control in the 2020s. That will not be a problem for Perry in the short term. Forget science for faith. Gather the votes and short-term memories of enough Republican voters for Perry in the primaries. A majoirity will believe as he believes that there is no climate change requiring a complete rethinking of business acumen. And anyway, many will endorse Perry’s rationale that whatever is going on with the climate is less important than you getting a job. You getting back to work no matter what the cost of sustaining our civilization or your children’s future on this fever wracked world must come first before we hug the trees.

If Perry enters the Republican race, he will quickly end the trajectory of other contenders. The GOP and the Democrats may have their designated nominees running for president a year before they are officially endorsed by the Democratic and Republican Conventions in the summer of 2012. Gone goes Palin, Gingrich, Bachman. Romney will spar with Perry through the primaries but he will lose his Republican moderate northern verses right wing fire-breathing southern state primary battles early on and the Republican show will be over by the Super Tuesday primary early in the year.

Then come the national elections.

If Perry runs, the presidential elections of 2012 will look more like 1860. States rights over Federal rights return in the national debate with the Federal side of the argument taken up not by a Caucasian emancipator of African Americans but an African American President.

Obama’s mysterious karmic relationship with Abraham Lincoln will see history repeat itself with a national election that will split states between Perry and Obama along the Mason-Dixon secession line. The Northern states go with Obama, just like Lincoln, only in 1860, southern states stayed out of the election preparing for secession.

In 2012, Perry will be the first major US Governor running of president who openly mused about secession since 625,000 Americans died in a civil war to prevent the breakup of the United States. During the 150th anniversary of year-two of the Civil War that saw the bloody battles of Second Bull Run, Antietam and Fredericksburg, Perry will win all the former Confederate states of that conflict, plus a few Border States like Missouri and Kentucky. The swing states will be in the Midwest and far West. A shadow of the civil war will cast itself on the political map of blue and red states in 2012 but the real danger of secession’s return is waiting in the 2020s.

Obama in 2012, like Lincoln waging the Civil War, will turn the ballot tide first in the West if he is to win re-election.

Perry is the only Republican after Jeb Bush who might make this election close enough to gain a disputed victory for the GOP, but he is less able than the Bush that cannot run. Still, I see might in the last sentence does not mean victory in the White House for the Right.

I predict Perry will lose because he is too extreme.

Obama will be a two-term president.

Prophecy Post Statement

Today’s article is a tale of two poets: one a candidate for Antichrist, the other a 16th-century seer who may have foreseen an Antichrist’s terminal fate four-and-a-half centuries before it happened.

Peter Bergen, the last Western journalist to interview Usama (incorrectly pronounce Osama) bin Laden wrote in his recent Time Magazine article The End of bin Laden, that the George Washington of Wahhabi Islamic extremism, the founder of the al-Qaeda (the base) terrorist organization, fancied himself a poet.

He wrote a death wish in Arabic verse, which translates: “Let my grave be an eagle’s belly, its resting place in the sky’s atmosphere amongst perched eagles.”

Bergen rightfully called Usama bin Laden’s verses morbid. I too have read many of them. Bin Laden’s poetic metaphors take him down paths of myth and fantasy he does not anticipate too well.

Why be in an eagle’s belly? Why not desire in verse to the liberated eagle’s spirit, flying on footless pathways on air, soaring free in limitless sky?

Why desire to be eaten like prey? You then have given poetic power to the eagle that devours you. You are then just lunch.

What usually sits in eagles bellies in high aeries, digested and made effluent falling from high twig nests are a belly grave legacy: the waste products of devoured fish, rabbits and rats.

Usama bin Laden, I think the eagle had a near midnight snack of “rat” the day US Navy Seals in stealth helicopters raided your compound in Abbottabad on May Day (Pacific Time). These Americans put one well-aimed bullet through your morbidly poetic heart and one in your metaphor-muddled head. It is strange you wrote of resting in the belly of an eagle, because elite troops of the country you had attacked on 9/11 hail from a nation represented by the animal totem of a Bald Eagle.

Was Usama an accidental prophet in his verse?

A poet far less accidental in his verses of prophecy and no less morbid than bin Laden, was Michel de Nostredame, who wrote under the Latinized surname Nostradamus.

Those verses comprising his history of the future span the years 1555 to 3797 and beyond. Some focus on three Antichrists. The first is code named Napaulon Roy (King Napoleon). The second is Hister (Adolf Hitler). (Read more about these by clicking on Antichrist.)

Prophecies about a third and final Antichrist are definitely trying to find anchor in the present ever since his famous “1999″ prophecy (10 Q72) may have cunningly hid the date of dreadful attacks of one of four chief candidates for the Antichrist in our times, Usama bin Laden.

L’an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois,
Du ciel viendra vn grand Roy d’effrayeur.
Resusciter le grand Roy d’Angolmois.
Auant apres Mars regner par bon heur.

(Literal translation)

In the year 1999, September month,
From the sky will come a great King of terror.
He will bring back Genghis Khan.
Before and after Mars rules happily.

(A translation capturing Nostradamus’ rhyme)

In the year 1999, month seven
From the sky will come a great King of terror.
The King of the Mongols he will awaken
Mars rules happily before and after.

It is easy for non-French readers who have only read Nostradamus in translations to overlook the sing-songy, A-B-A-B, cadence of his quatrain poetry. Fortunately, this famous verse is relatively easy to convert into English preserving the meaning with the rhyme, not so true of many other quatrains, though.

Nostradamus clearly spells out a date for our times so it is most important. Far more important than 2012, a date he never mentions. (Sorry all you twenty-twelver authors who have made an industry trying to sacrifice the prophetic heart of Nostradamus by spreading him over the temple altar of your Mayan Calendar flights of imagination.) Nostradamus describes in this verse a history shaking act of a great terrorist coming out of the sky during the time China, becomes a superpower. They resurrect the memory of Genghis Khan.

The fact of the matter is, during the 1990s, the greatest king of the Mongol hordes who conquered China had be “rehabilitated” in Chinese schools by the Communist government as a good totalitarian role model. This fact is used to frame the time of this prophecy when Mars (god of war) rules happily before and after the terrorist event.

The dating in the first line has layers of meaning. The initial one being literal for the great earthquakes following those lands cast in the Moon’s shadow mentioned in detail elsewhere in Nostradamus verses in a solar eclipse. He says it takes place just prior to the great cycle of the centuries being renewed (the year 2000-2001). The path of the Moon’s shadow he described did indeed pass over Flanders, as well as Greece, Turkey and India during the eclipse of 11 August 1999. (Note the 9s and 11s). After which great earthquakes did rock Greece, and especially Turkey seven days after the eclipse in the city of Izmit, just outside of Istanbul, killing an estimated 45,000 leaving 600,000 homeless.

The important eclipse and date of the quakes in Greece and Turkey are also alluded to in the first line. Follow Nostradamus’ classical allusions and you can unlock his secrets. He plays with a double entendre on sept mois. It means the seventh month (July). It also literally stands for Septembre or the old seventh month September before Roman dictator Julius Caesar and Emperor Augustus Caesar created new months named after them: July and August. In this quatrain Nostradamus implies both July and September. The old and new seventh months in the calendar bracket the solar eclipse in August 1999 before the great millennium’s turning that so interested him as a shift in human destiny far more significant that 2012.

There is a third meaning hidden in line one. It dates the violent, civilization-shaking action of a potential antichrist happening around what Nostradamus sometimes calls in other verses the renewing of the “great motor of the centuries”. This shift of the second Christian millennium to the third is incorrectly identified by most of us as the year 2000. Nostradamus was aware as many astrologers would be aware that 31 December 2000 is the last day of the old millennium. The first of January 2001 launches the new.

In Year One of the new millennium, the “great King of terror” descends from the skies in jets hijacked by his minions. They plunge like missiles into the twin towers, or the “hollow mountains” of “the great new city”, New York City, which Nostradamus famously described in detail in Century 6 Quatrain 97and Century 10 Quatrain 49. Read more about these two remarkable prophecies here: 9-11.

Veteran HogueProphecy readers will be aware of this but for all the hundreds of thousands of new readers visiting Hogueprophecy.com since Usama bin Laden was killed, Nostradamus not only used anagrams to hide names of future people in history, he also may have scrambled numbers in codes.

Thus, 1999 seventh — or September — month is a code dating Usama bin Laden’s attack. Replace the one with a nine. Replace the three nines with three ones and you get 9-11-1 September month.

In my book Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named: Mabus, I show how applying Nostradamus’ rules of anagramming can see the names of four historic figures waging the so-called War on Terror that Usama bin Laden’s Pearl Harbor style attack started in 2001 decoded out of the anagram Mabus. They are:

1.) Usama (Maaus=Ma(b)us) bin Laden, if you replace one redundant letter a with the one letter missing in the puzzle (b), you get Mabus.

2.) g.w. Bush, if you follow the rule of reversing and turning letters upside down, g and w then make m and a, which equals Mabus(h). Drop the redundant h and you get Mabus.

3.) Apply the law of reverse-mirror imaging and Mabus=subam=sudam gets you the correct Arabic phonetic pronounciation of Saddam (suh-daam) Hussein.

4.) Apply the correct pronunciation of Obama (oubama or ubama) and then mix the spelling: ubama=maabu. Replace the redundant letter a with the missing s, and you get Mabus.

Depending on which side of this war on terror you pin your allegiance, either Bush and Obama are good leaders fighting the evil Saddam and Usama, or vice versa. What is truly remarkable and unique in Nostradamus prophecy is the potential confusion possible in the mind of the 16th-century seer peering into the dark potentials of centuries yet formed trying to isolate protagonists with similar names: Obama fighting Osama, for instance.

I mean, how many times have you, my readers, caught yourself in conversation saying Obama when you meant Osama or made the gaff the other way around? Even love-Obama blinded comedian Bill Maher on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher accidentally on purpose last Friday made the slip calling Osama Obama on live TV.

Imagine if you were not mesmerized by a 21st-century TV but under the spell of some 16th-century magical litany running in your nutmeg buzzed head in the middle of the night as you sit yourself in a white hooded robe, barefoot, on a brass tripod over a boiling bowl of steaming sulfuric waters. You are not talking at the TV this time but you are having a paranormal conversation, either with your own psychotic secret self, or a disincarnated “messenger” with his hair on fire, you just conjured out of the ethers with your laurel wand.

You blurt out in 16th-century French:

“Qu’avez-vous dit, Monsieur de l’ange de feu ? Obama ? Ou estoit cela Osama est le Troisieme Antechrist ?”

Translation: “What did you say, Master Angle of Fire? Obama? Or did you say Osama is the Third Antichrist?”

I am not at all certain Nostradamus could easily separate hero from antichrist in his prophetic verses about who Mabus is, but the prophetic consequences of the Antichrist’s sudden and violent death, as explained in 2 Q62 and 8 Q77, potentially stoke apocalyptic fires in the Arab-Muslim world.

We look at these in literal English translation:

Mabus will soon die, then will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

8 Q77
The Third Antichrist very soon annihilated,
Twenty-seven years his bloody war will last.
The heretics [are] dead, captives exiled,
Blood-soaked human bodies, and a reddened, icy hail covering the earth.

In brief, Nostradamus uses similar narratives to link a longer vision in several quatrains consciously scattered out of sequence to protect future evil ones from recognizing themselves, changing plans and winning wars they should have lost as Nostradamus foretold. Line one in both quatrains above links them together because of similar language. Thus Mabus and the Third Antichrist are one, soon dying or very soon annihilated. The death either undoes the world of people and animals, or he is killed at a time when people have disrupted the natural balance of nature (animals); in other words, our climate changing times caused by human air pollution. Our times will experience the greatest mass extinction of animals since the death of the dinosaurs, if the current rate of natural land and ocean habitat destruction continues for a century.

Death of Mabus brings vengeance from his followers so terrible that 100 nations belligerently respond. Again, the mention of thirst and famine dates this event at a time when humanity has a growing potable water and food sustainability crisis ongoing.

The upheaval in the Arab world right now was directly triggered by higher food prices caused by more hungry mouths to feed in the year that will see the birth of the seven billionth child. Potable water as well is becoming the ever more rare and precious new gold — blue gold. Wars will be smoldering soon over water rights. Wars in the times of the Antichrist.

Mabus dies at the sighting of a comet. Does Nostradamus mean a great comet like Comet McNaught, the one appearing to the naked eye the night before Saddam Hussein was hanged? In two weeks time it became the brightest comet in 60 years.

Is it Comet Elenin, currently approaching the Sun at the time of Usama bin Laden’s takedown?

Elenin is very small and will be hardly visible at all. Perhaps its passing is more significant because of its yet unknown ability to trigger massive natural disasters around the time of the death of the Third Antichrist?

Amateur astronomers using NASA’s website have found that the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Small Body Database Browser has predicted the three most recent 7.0+ magnitude earthquakes with striking accuracy each time the small, nondescript Comet Elenin has lined up with the Sun and Earth upon its approach. Earth on first line up on 27 February 2010 experienced a magnitude 8.8 temblor hitting the Chilean coast sending a tsunami across the Pacific.

On the second line up on 4 September 2010, a 7.2 quake hit Christchurch New Zealand.

On a third line up on 11 March 2011, a 9.0 quake shook Japan sending a devastating tsunami into the northeastern coast of Honshu Island and other strong reverberant waves across the Pacific Ocean.

The JPL Small Body Database Browser calculates two more alignments of the Sun, Earth and Elenin in 2011 will happen on 26 September and 23 November.

Consequences stemming from the death of Mabus as the Antichrist may result in a 27-year war, though in his Epistle to Henry II Nostradamus says the war is 25 years long. They could be two different time lines, the 27-years first followed by a 25-year period. That is, if Nostradamus intended Saddam Hussein to be Mabus.

Nostradamus foresaw: 27 years his bloody war would last…

If you count the years from the time Saddam became Iraq’s dictator to his death by hanging you are describing a period of perpetual warfare, inside and outside of Iraq’s borders. It climaxed in the invasion and occupation of Iraq by US forces. These were caught in the bloody crossfire of yet another civil war between Iraqi Shia and Sunnis at the time of Saddam Hussein’s hanging, 27 years after he became dictator of Iraq.

Facts do parallel 8 Q77′s third line. Many heretics of true Islam are dead, banished and scattered. The final lines also imply the scattering of al-Qaeda, its many operatives and leaders now wasting away far from their homes in prisons, such as that in USA held Guantanamo, Cuba.

As stated earlier, Nostradamus may have mistaken two or more candidates as one Antichrist. Perhaps the “vengeance” mentioned in 2 Q62 – a possible retaliation to Saddam’s death and/or that of Usama bin Laden — is developed further in the second verse (8 Q77). The red rains might imply a use of chemical, biological or radiological weapons of mass destruction that triggers a further 25 years of conflict set in motion by a terrible act of retaliatory vengeance for the death of the Third Antichrist.

In my next report on new Nostradamus revelations after the death of Usama bin Laden, I will show how the milestone event of Usama bin Laden’s annihilation, his burial at sea, the Operation name of the Navy Seals attack on his compound all offer fresh insights into Nostradamus’ Antichrist prophecies. The new evidence ties the death of bin Laden to that of Libyan dictator, Muhammar Gaddafi, happening any time now but no later than 2013.

The 25-year war of the Antichrist may actually be caused by another kind of retaliatory revenge not initially anticipated even today by al-Qaeda. It may come out of Libya, infect and radicalize the Arab Revolution, dragging Russia and America into a terrible destruction of people and animals through a thermonuclear war no one but a few of history’s greatest seers, have anticipated.

Mother Nature’s World War Heats up

There are just too many things happening these days to focus solely on one subject per article. So I will periodically insert these new “PS Prophecies” segments at the end of articles.

A few words today about oncoming natural disasters. Before bin Laden was killed, the prophetic focus was on historic tornadic devastation as the North American winter of epic blizzards and historic storms transformed into the globally warmed spring of super-tornado attacks. The late April 2011 tornado outbreak in the US southern states that killed over 300 made me muse recently on Coast to Coast AM (link to you archived show page) that major disasters, politically, economically and especially seismic and climate-oriented seem to be slamming the human civilization once a month in 2011. I said for the first time and for the record on that radio show broadcast across North America that I may have to call the year 2011, The Year of 12 Catastrophes. For instance:

The US fallen air-transported home.

They have retreated down the dusty desert road from whence they came. The last US combat brigade rolled back over the Kuwaiti border on a predawn hour, like the one that set rocket and artillery fire to the darkness seven years and five month ago when armored tank treads rolled into Iraq. This time the guards at the Kuwaiti border gate that unlocked and opened the Operation Iraqi Freedom invasion, pulled the gate closed after the last armored personnel carrier of the last retreating US armored combat unit had passed out of Iraq before MSNBC cameras. MSNBC was the only US cable news agency able to broadcast live what most of the US news media and American people would like to forget: the US war in Iraq.

The pullout ceremony jumped the official date by a few weeks to prevent any roadside bombs blasting the last exit of the last complete combat brigade. Despite that, the US leaves behind armed camps and air bases packed with 50,000 support troops and trainers to aid the reformed Iraqi army and military police forces to fight their own battles with guerrillas and jihadist insurgents. The departure of the US 4th Stryker Brigade from Iraq happened sometime after 3 AM in the morning of 19 August (Iraqi Time). It marked this as the 2,666th day after the previous US President G. W. Bush put on his bollocks-harnessing flight suit costume to stride bull-legged-cowboy style thumbing up the folks and the serried ranks of sailors, pilots and marines on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier displaying the “Mission Accomplished!” poster. He announced that combat missions in Iraq where at an end.

Well, according to what happened today, Mr. Bush was 7 years and 5 months off, 4,415 dead US service men and women buried, 318 coalition troops and 1,000 US contractors killed, 35,000 US and coalition wounded, and 650,000 Iraqis whacked after mission was prematurely “accomplished” on Mayday-Mayday! 1 May 2003.

At this moment in American denial, 70 percent of the people polled believe that the war ended in success. They also believe they paid way too much for the war, costing an estimated trillion dollars. Actually, the war is not yet a success and the American people have not paid the lion’s share of the cost. The Chinese did and we will owe them more than half of that sum as a loan with steep interest and soon!

Yes, the violence of civil sectarian strife reaching a climax in 2006-2007 has abated because of General Petraeus’ anti-insurgency successes that fortunately coincided with a “Sunni Iraqi awakening” to entering politics rather than stuffing RPG missiles into their tubes pointed at US humvees. Nevertheless, do not call the current dysfunctional and ungovernable Iraqi parliament in Baghdad evidence of victory, or that Iraq has become the symbol in the Muslim world of freedom and democracy that will illuminate and spread moderate democratic values across other Muslim Middle East nations

American Jarheads and G.I.s where supposed to dispose of Saddam Hussein with the garbage of WMD they could not find, guard US oil contractors as they drew out the Iraqi oil to pay for the war that they did not plumb and finally establish and leave behind a working democratic government that is not there. Elections happened this year in March in Iraq. Five months passed and STILL there is no government seated doing the Iraqi people’s pressing business. However, I will tell you what there is in its void, a new regional power. The Islamic fundamentalist government in Teheran openly sabotages progress towards forming an Iraqi Parliament for over five months now. The fall of Saddam brought on the rise of militant and powerful Islamic Revolutionary Iran dominating the Persian Gulf where much of the world’s oil exports lie.

We have won in Iraq?

NONE of the pivotal legislation has happened that would secure democracy and concord between the three major factions in the Iraq: The Sunni minority, the Shia Muslim majority and the non-Arab Kurds. The latter would prefer to live as their own nation and take back Kirkuk where most of Iraq’s oil reserves lay. Indeed, the all-important Shia-Sunni-Kurdish agreement to equally share Iraq’s oil revenues remains in limbo after years of all talk and no legislation. Soon American bureaucrats and military advisers will not be there to wave their fingers at them.

Actually, the official combat operations in Iraq will end after 31 August 2010 when another six thousand troops will fly out beyond the Stryker Brigade’s photo op “out” of Iraq this morning. The Pentagon will transfer power to the US State Department when on that day begins the new operation. From Operation Iraqi Freedom we will move to Operation New Dawn. In that new dawn on 1 September, thousands of State Department diplomats and technocrats will augment, the 50,000 US military trainers left behind in Iraq with a brighter, stronger and more subservient Blackwater-style army of 7,000 US private mercenaries. These will guard remaining US military assets until the end of 2011 when all US forces will leave Iraq to its own fate and devices. A sizable portion of those departing US troops belong to Army and Air Force personnel that flew missions over Iraqi unit counter-insurgency operations. The protection of righteous avenging angels on their shoulders will go with them. The commander of all Iraqi Army forces, Lieutenant-General Babakir Zebari, openly protested to the world press that Iraq’s military will not be ready to stand on its own until the year 2020.

The end of 2011 looks a lot like the beginning of 1973 when all US troops withdrew from defending the Republic of South Vietnam. Just as in Iraq, the US military and State Department buttressed and spent billions in a Vietnamization-cum-Baghdad-ification that intended leaving behind a workable government and armed forces to fight the suppressed forces of civil war after a rapid withdrawal, thank you very much.

The South Vietnamese government corrupt as it was did at least convene in Saigon. A national Iraqi government is still in the Bagh, dad, and bickering politicians show little sign of coming out to play parliament. The South Vietnamese armed forces, like their US manufactured and armed Iraqi descendants were left to fight guerrillas without the critical protection of a functioning air force. They fell to the North Vietnamese in 1975. US air forces were in Vietnam (as they currently are in Iraq) the key to successful counterinsurgency activities of troops on the ground.

Today’s withdrawal of US combat forces in Iraq warrants a reprise of excerpts from one of my articles written seven years and nearly one month ago, posted on 11 July 2003, when the glow of “Mission Accomplished” began to feel the heat of bombed-out US humvees at the onset of the Iraqi insurrection against US occupying forces.

Perhaps Nostradamus foresaw Bush’s “Crusade”

Over four-and-a-half centuries ago, Nostradamus said the following in Century 3, Quatrain 61 of his prescient masterpiece Les Propheties

La grande bande & secte crucigere,
Se dressera en Mesopotamie:
Du proche fleuue compagnie legere,
Que telle loy tiendra pour ennemie.

The great host and sect of the crusaders,
Will be massed in Mesopotamia:
Of the nearby river the fast company,
That such law will hold for the enemy.

It would seem that Nostradamus has written a compound prophecy embracing two modern invasions of Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq) into one: the Gulf War of 1991 and the land invasion and occupation of Iraq via its southern (Mesopotamian) approaches in 2003.

Back in 1997, I wrote the following interpretation of C3 Q61 for Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies. My views then covered what now appear to be the first part of this compound prophecy:

“It could be said that Operation Desert Storm was the most recent Crusade of Christian armies in the Middle East; moreover, it starred the largest cast of Christian soldiers ever to fight in ‘Mesopotamia’ in the 20th or any other century. Rick Atkinson in his book Crusade: The Untold Story of the Gulf War estimates that the West sent 4,000 tanks, 150 ships, and 600,000 soldiers (the vast majority from the Christian nations). The ‘nearby river’ is the Euphrates during the rapid attack by the 101st Airborne Division cutting across Highway 8 next to the river. This action effectively cut Saddam Hussein’s supply line to Kuwait during the 100-hour ground war. The final line may take us into the near future if we can define just which ‘law’ holds in Iraq: Is it the brutal ‘law’ of Saddam Hussein, or the sanctions of the United Nations? One could argue that the swiftness of the Allied encircling maneuver spearheaded by the 101st Airborne helped bring the conflict to an end before Saddam Hussein’s Republican Guard divisions were destroyed. After the peace, he could use these relatively intact elite units to tighten his hold on Iraq.”

A revision of my interpretation would include a second invasion and occupation. Line 1 and 2′s phrase “great host and sect of the crusaders will be massed in Mesopotamia” is more applicable to the US forces occupying the region today. I believe President Bush’s use of the word “crusade” [to describe his "war on terror" against those who attack the Pentagon and World Trade Center on 11 September 2001] is a classic catch phrase Nostradamus wouldn’t have overlooked.

Thus, it seems we “have” a new crusade in Mesopotamia, as Nostradamus defined it in Century 3, Quatrain 61.

Lines 1 through 3 point to the Gulf War of 1991 repeating itself in early 2003:

The great host and sect of the crusaders,
Will be massed in Mesopotamia:
Of the nearby river the fast company…

Fast armored armadas of the Mesopotamian encirclement of Republican Guard divisions in 1991 become leaner and meaner armored brigades of the U.S. blitzkrieg of 2003. They plunge across the Mesopotamian delta heading north, northwest for Baghdad alongside the western bank of the Euphrates (“nearby river”).

At the date of this writing a “great host” is indeed “amassed in Mesopotamia.” At the end of the war there were close to 200,000 soldiers, the vast majority being of the Christian faith (“crusaders”) on the ground in Mesopotamia. Since 1 May [2003] the Bush administration scaled down the number of troops to 145,000. An escalation of guerrilla warfare sets the stage for history to repeat itself. Another US president from Texas is issuing secret orders for a buildup of more troops for what could be America’s second Vietnam quagmire.

Perhaps the repetition of history is closer than I’ve stated it. When US troops crossed the Euphrates River on their final push for Baghdad, they passed into the fertile and marshy planes of the Tigris and Euphrates watershed.

“Gosh!” remarked one reporter on camera from CNN riding on top of an armored personnel carrier through yellowish green rice fields and palm groves, “It looks just like we’re driving right back into Vietnam!”

Is he right?

Let us review the prophecy again:

The great host and sect of the crusaders,
Will be massed in Mesopotamia [modern day Iraq]:
Of the nearby river the fast company,
That such law will hold for the enemy.

The final line seen in the light of the 2003 invasion becomes more ominous for America. Indeed, a clearer picture arises of just what Nostradamus might intend for the “law” that will “hold for the enemy.” Saddam’s dictatorial “law” survived the Gulf War of 1991 only to be replaced by a new tyranny — the “Sharia” law of Shiite fundamentalism.

The law of the Sharia will hold Iraq because the American president’s preemptive war and occupation is the catalyst. A force-fed Iraqi puppet democracy will radicalize the country. The guerrilla insurrection will grow in strength long after the US captures or kills Saddam. This insurrection may be the match setting the fires of a 27-year war foreseen by Nostradamus in his famous “Mabus” and “Third Antichrist” prophecies. (See Mabus).

Much of what I said posted on 11 July 2003 did happen. Saddam was caught and executed; the Shia majority that controls political power to this day even though they cannot govern the land after the US occupation supplanted the Sunni-dominated regime. The 27-year war may have already happened. If you take Saddam Hussein’s bloody, war ravaged reign, add to it the last three years of his life which marked some of the bloodiest days of the Iraqi insurgency until his death in late December 2006: his violent rule in perpetual warfare with his own people and neighbors lasted 27 years! According to these prophecies, there may be another 25-year war of the Antichrist coming after the 27-year conflict.

What have US combat troops left behind to stew in hot Iraqi deserts today? What will be waiting for Iraq when this second repetition of all-American blundering Vietnamization fills the void when the remaining US forces and support aircraft leave Iraq at the end of 2011?

(By the way, Saddam Hussein, the dictator of Iraq, intentionally set off the greatest oil slick disaster in history during the Persian Gulf War of 1991 spilling over 10 million barrels into the Persian Gulf from oil tanker harbor pipelines detonated in Kuwait by his retreating Republican Guards. Though Deepwater’s oily sheen stretched for a time across an area the size of Pennsylvania from late April to early July, now in early August NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration) declares 75 percent of the goo is gone. “Absorbed” to be exact. The corporate media eats up this report like anaerobic ocean bacteria tucks in tar for tucker with little to no skeptical inquiry. Also the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) chases NOAA’s happy spill of spin with their own, that all the vertebrate fish and invertebrate shell fish swimming in that dispersant rich toxic mix of “absorbed” oil still raining down on oyster beds, crab and shrimp make these “safe” to eat. Big business must go on, it seems. Get those Gulf fisheries back on net line harvesting the ocean’s oily gilled and bivalved bounty. Get those people back to work before region-wide gulf state unemployment influences their votes for the mid-term elections.

Thank you dispersant toxins for sweeping the slick under the watery rug of the Gulf ocean surface. I wonder if short term profit and political gain might postpone a serious appraisal about just what impact on human health eating hydro-carbonated marine animals will have in the coming decade. Heck, American’ts postpone tackling the oncoming Debt Bomb, why not delay a serious investigation into the effects of the dispersants in what will be a crude dispersant pestilence upon human consumers?

We have a habit of not facing our toxic problems (social, economic and ecological). It reminds me of a consequential prophetic outcome written in Century 5 Quatrain 63 of Nostradamus’ history of the future, when he augured the following: “There will be several plagues upon mankind.” Many of these pestilences implied to be man-made.

This brings me back to another similarity between the oil spill summers of 1979 and 2010. Itox in 1979 and Deepwater in 2010 share summers remembered for their record-breaking and extended heat waves across the Gulf and Mississippi River states. Did both spills somehow have a toxic influence on water evaporation in the Gulf of Mexico that lead to very hot summers across the eastern two thirds of the North American continent? The historic hot summer of 2010 spikes much higher than the record swelter of 1979. The temperature rises in intensity parallel the increased size of the third and first worst accidental oil spills in history in a body of water from where much of the subtropical heat cast over North America comes.

Climate made famished for water evaporation by hydrocarbon steroids?

There has never been recorded such a wide-ranging and lingering triple-digit heat wave across the states of the American South and Mississippi Valley. NOAA predicted a hurricane season to rival the storms crowding 2005 when Hurricane Katrina devastated the Mississippi coast and broke the decrepit levies around New Orleans. The first week of August 2010 is nearly over with nary but one minor Hurricane Alex on the books. What has dried out the Caribbean and Gulf areas like 1979? Is it coincidence. Is it a fortunate spate of off shore wind sheer cutting down the strength of the “canes” before they are “able” to murder the Gulf with winds, storm surges and rains? Is it the Gulf waters, and a lot more?

The 1979 season, like the first two months of the current Hurricane Season of 2010 had only seen one weak hurricane (Bob for 1979; Alex for 2010) briefly visit the Gulf. Both in mid-July. Unlike July 2010, the Gulf in late July 1979 did experience a gully washer torrent of rain across the Texas coastline from tropical storm Claudette making it one of the most damaging tropical storms on record never to reach hurricane force; however, no other hurricane entered the Gulf until Hurricane Henry around 17 September 1979. Henry went down on the record books as was a rare example of a storm entering the Gulf of Mexico and dissipating without making landfall. Was an oily film from the Itox spill blocking the full evaporation feast of moisture it needed?

Is it a coincidence that the last time the Gulf had suffered a scab of an oily sheen in 1979 the weather patterns drew dry and record-breaking hot. Moreover, summer 2010 like 1979, is also a year enduring a strong though currently diminishing El Nino climate altering heat-up of the Eastern Pacific equatorial waters. Nevertheless, perhaps the collapsing El Nino in 2010 has enough strength left to quiet down the Atlantic Hurricane Season like 1979 and oil slicks have nothing to do with it.

A far larger oil slick in 2010, coincides with an equally and far wider ranging, triple-digit heat wave across the Mississippi Valley states all the way north to Minnesota. These and even the Atlantic seaboard states sweltered with mid-summer temperatures in the spring months of late April and May. Is it bad luck only that the Deepwater disaster started on 20 April? Does water evaporate properly when under the skim of hydrocarbons? Can a large portion of the northern Gulf laced with particulated hydrocarbons dispersed from the surface to ocean floor depths in vast oil cloud plumes not have some impact on the watery engine of atmospheric evaporation pumping subtropical moisture far into the temperate zone?

The fossil carbon farts of oil and coal make a Greenhouse Effect trapping the sun’s heat in the atmosphere reflecting the heat back to earth. Move from air to water, from heat trapped to heat reflected. Could carbon slurry in its pre-exhaust form in the ocean inhibit enough natural water evaporation under an viscous greenhouse rainbow sheen to render a subtle altering of weather patterns to a hotter degree? My rhetorical questions are not science. My intuition might be imaginary. Then again, perhaps the future climatologists will find some correlation.

What I’m pondering is not scientifically proven. Not yet. I wonder though how much mucking with the oceans can tip a slight degree of evaporation across a large enough water surface to slightly alter the rpm of the climate temperature engine running the motor slightly too hot.

From heat waves to fires we go…

There’s fire in the sky mentioned in a number of Nostradamus’ prophecies distressing a future time. A line of heat waves drawn over the map line of latitude 48 is the subject of Century 5 Quatrain 98:

A quarante huict degré climaterique,
A fin de Cancer si grande seicheresse:
Poisson en mer, fleuue, lac cuit hectique,
Bearn, Bigorre par feu ciel en destresse.

At a latitude of forty-eight degrees
At the end of Cancer (22 July) so great (is the) drought.
Fish in the sea, river and lake boiled hectic,
(Southwest France) in distress from fire in the sky.

I wrote the following interpretation 13 years ago for Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies:

Nostradamus warns us against creating a future drought of biblical proportions that will burn a swath across latitude 48 in the Northern Hemisphere. Drawing a line across that latitude on a map, we touch on nearly all the world’s chief grain belts. Today’s amber oceans of wheat stretching across North America and the Soviet Ukraine revert to prairies and inhospitable steppes in the next century.

[Note the] quatrain Indexing Date: “Q98″ = 1998? In my last Nostradamus book [Nostradamus: the New Revelations, 1994] I correctly interpreted the increase in global warming after the mid-1990s when the dust from the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo [1992] that slightly cooled the world had cleared the skies. With this interpretation in mind, we can expect a wave of global droughts and heat waves by July 1998. From that time onward global warming steadily kicks in, disrupting weather patterns and the climate conditions needed to grow grain, start to shift hundreds of miles north of where they are now.

The year 2010 visits upon Russia the worst drought, brush and forest fires in 130 years of recorded weather history. The Indian heat wave before the Monsoon came in June killed hundreds if not thousands across South Asia. The US had endured sustained and historic bouts of triple-digit heat waves east of the Rockies starting since mid-spring.

Yesterday, the Russian Federation announced that all exports of grain will cease due to the crop damage caused by 2010′s sustained spring and summer droughts. Flames devour Forest and brush fires have become Russian wheat field fires. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin banned all grain exports for the next 4.5 months so his country can at least feed itself.

Russia is the third largest exporter of grain on this hungry and overpopulated planet. Russian fields of desiccating grain lie mostly along Latitude 48.

The quatrain’s indexing “98″ bears a second look. In 2001, a United Nations commission on climate changes declared that the 1990s were the hottest years on record in the last millennium. Climate science reports the tropics are expanding nearly 600 miles into once temperate zones demarcated by the tropics of Cancer in the north and Capricorn in the southern hemisphere. The Science Times reported that temperatures in 1998 shattered global temperature records. Since the spike of heat in 1998, every year since then records a hotter mean temperature than all the years before 1998 and the year 2010 is poised to shatter heat records of the hottest year of them all — 1998!

Back in November of 2009, I forecast the following:

“Be prepared for cold and snow filled winters to suddenly shift into greatly warmed meltdown floods. Great torrential wets will presage land-mummifying droughts in Australia, and the interiors of all inhabited continents in 2010. The only constant theme threading through next year’s weather forecast: extreme.” (Predictions for 2010)

Last things first. A number of my readers this year have been asking if I wish to reverse myself on the following forecast made in Predictions for 2010, signed off on 1 November 2009: “The Israeli Netanyahu government signaled after the Hebrew New Year (Yom Kippur) that it would hold to an end-of-year deadline before considering a military option to put out the reactor fires of the Iranian nuclear program which it suspects is a front for building a nuclear arsenal to eventually match their own. President Obama himself has not taken a military option with Iran off the table…

“Will the new year bring warplanes from Israel setting fire to Iranian nuclear facilities?

“No.

“I am happy to announce some breathtaking positive news. The window for an Israeli-Iranian war has closed in 2010 and it won’t open again for the next five years.”

I am told by some of you that futurologists (those who extrapolate future events from measurable trends) believe it obvious that war between Iran and Israel is imminent. They cite Saudi Arabia granting Israel permission to use a narrow corridor of air space near its northern frontiers to send waves of jet bombers on a short and faster root to blast Iranian nuclear installations than around the Arabian Peninsula. Just last week the Egyptian government allowed two small Israeli naval vessels transit through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea. Egypt had earlier allowed an Israeli U-Boat (a German built Dolphin Class submarine) passage to and from the Persian Gulf via Suez. This U-Boat is believed to carry cruise missiles tipped with nuclear warheads. An Israeli sub off the Iranian shores of the Persian Gulf, along with surface vessels in tow with US Naval units aims to show that Israel can extend its naval reach right to Iran’s doorstep. It sends a message that at any moment Israel can launch a retaliatory nuclear strike on Iranian cities and nuclear reactors with atomic weapons Israel does not officially says it has.

Is war imminent? Has my oracle got it wrong as some of you wag in the comments sections of my blog?

Here is my answer: There will be no war between Iran and Israel before the mid-decade.

All the saber rattling, all the little flotilla posturing and certainly the air space permission of the Saudis is not something new. The Saudis regularly renew Israel’s permission to fly their warplanes over their airspace since July 2009. Secret deals by Mossad’s spy chief Meir Dagan or covert arrangements by a succession of CIA chiefs with the Saudis, Iraqis or the Turks to provide their airspace to Israeli surgical strikes on Iran have been either under discussion or secretly approved ever since the Bush administration started drawing up plans for a strike on Iran after they invaded Iraq in 2003. Though a new man sits in G.W. Bush’s seat in the Oval Office President Obama is not completely closing the door to the last administration’s Neo-Conservative strategic agenda. Plans to take Iran down have ever had bipartisan support in US Congress as far back as 1992 when Paul Wolfowitz authored and Dick Cheney edited the first essays on how American foreign policy needed to define and depose new threats from rogue regimes in a post-Soviet, post-Cold War. The idea to strike Iran was floated around in Washington long before these and other apostles of Neo-Conservatism crowded the G.W. Bush cabinet. You will find that many purveyors of Neo-Conservatism are also staunch Zionists even possessing duel citizenship. During the Bush era, Neo-Con think tanks were openly advising Washington “and” Jerusalem with their expert political and military scenarios engaging Iran.

As far back as early 2007, I published an eBook collecting many of Nostradamus’ astrological and prescient visions about a future war with Iran. (See Nostradamus Iran predictions.) I took the reader through an evolution of Neo-Con thinking from 1992 up to early 2007 detailing the intimate connection and shared intent of right wing US and right wing Zionist leaders and policy makers, attempting to forge a US foreign policy that matched the aims of Israeli foreign policy and strategic agendas. One cannot blame Israel, a small country in a hostile region, for seeking to dictate US policy. It is no different really than its chief rival, Iran, trying to influence the policy and strategic goals of Israel’s enemies surrounding her borders.

I elaborated in Nostradamus: the War with Iran that Israel has long kept at least one of its Dolphin Class submarines on station 24/7 in the Persian Gulf since 2006, after Iranian President Ahmadinejad made his notorious statement that Israel should be erased from the map of history. Moreover, though it may be news to many of you, the fact is the Saudis fear and loathe the Iranian Ayatollah regime far more than they do the right-wing Zion-supremacist regime of Netanyahu. In my eBook and blogs over the years, I have described large-scale Saudi civil defense drills regularly practiced in tandem with Israeli drills since 2005 onwards to rehearse national responses to retaliatory Iranian missile attacks after an Israeli air strike. Some of these Saudi rehearsals openly prepared fallout drills for towns and massive oil distillation facilities in the northeastern corner of the kingdom. They are thought to prepare for the eventuality that a cratered Iranian reactor dome should send plumes of radioactive clouds across the Persian Gulf from the nearby Iranian nuclear facility at Brushehr, scheduled for activation in the summer of 2010.

Let me make this clear, Israeli demonstrations of planes, vessels in Suez shipping lanes and Dolphin submarine cruise missile nukes on auto mobile launch command mode does not construe imminent war. These actions are a kind of “language”, albeit brinkman bunt, directed at Iran’s regime to contain it in a regional Iranian-Israeli Cold War. The Egyptians have a treaty with Israel for decades granting them access to the Suez Canal as long as their warships do not strike Egypt. Egypt’s Sunni Muslim population and Sunni President Mubarak is no friend of Shiite Persians constructing a nuclear arsenal. Neither are the Saudis. Granting Israel attack jets passage through their airspace sends a strong signal to the Iranian regime to forego further work on their nuclear weapons program because the Shiite Persian Muslim missiles pointed at a Jewish State will just as easily be pointed at Sunni Arab states requiring the Saudis saddle up their own nuclear weapons program to deter Iran.

Iran’s nuclear weapon aspirations mind you are more bluff than solid fact. Meir Dagan, head of Mossad since 2002, has stated clearly in early 2009 his belief that Iran will not have the means to build and deliver an atomic bomb until the middle of this decade.

President Obama is not seeking the military option just yet and will continue pressuring sanctions and tacit support of Saudi and Israeli demonstrations of strength. Unless the Netanyahu regime has lost its marbles and are aiming to take out the reactor at Bushehr before it goes online later this summer, this could not be a worse time to unilaterally strike Iran. Relations with Israel’s best regional friend, Turkey, are on the rocks because of a heavy-handed suppression of blockade-runners into Gaza this June. Israel’s alliance with the United States is not in good shape. It is time to mend bridges with Israel’s only real superpower friend in the world, not burn them further with a Bushehr military blunder.

One reads in Israeli newspapers a growing call to war against Iran and in some cases there are Zionist zealots openly writing that Israel striking Iran and thus becoming isolated from support by the rest of the world fulfills prophecies concerning the advent of the Jewish messiah, thus worldwide repudiation as a militant pariah is happily lobbied.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Lieberman might sympathize with such extreme views of Jewish eschatology but I do not think they are stupid enough to go it alone solely on anticipated divine approval or invitation of messianic advent. (See more about prophecies of a Jewish messiah). The Israelis will give Obama time because they have no other option short of going to war without US support. They will wait to see if a more sympathetic and hawkish Republican will unseat Democrat Obama in 2012. They know as I know that is a long shot. Mossad and the Netanyahu regime believe Obama will tire of diplomatic efforts sometime in his second term after years of getting nowhere. Then Israel will get the green light to strike Iran just before it becomes capable of constructing a workable warhead by mid-decade. They might not need jets by that time. I see the walls of Iranian reactors falling in a rain of Jericho III ballistic missiles.

The basis for this mid-decade time window relies on an interpretation of Nostradamus’ clearly defined astrological window for war with Iran.

In Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the time for possible air strikes has many astrological references. One of these suggests in Century 4 Quatrain 67, that:

L’an que Saturne & Mars esgaux combust,
L’air fort seiché, longue traiection:
Par feux secrets, d’ardeur grand lieu adust
Peu pluye, vent chault, guerres, incursions.

In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery,
The air is very dry, a long comet:
From hidden fires a great place burns with heat,
Little rain, hot wind, wars and raids.

The Latin combustus adds apocalyptic nuance to the old French combust. That which is equally fiery equally burns, consumes, ruins and destroys equally two aggressors — perhaps Israel and Iran in a future war. The old French traiection is from the Latin trajectio: describing a shooting star, meteor, or a comet. A missile in modern terms. Hidden fires inside Israeli nuclear warheads on Jericho III ballistic missiles or on cruise missiles launched by Dolphin Class submarines burn the far larger target, Iran (great place) with atomic heat. The Latin adustus specifically means burned or scorched by the sun from the French incursions. In other words, raids, surprise attacks or offensives. This not only implies a surprise Pear Harbor-like strike coming from Israel but also in modern terms an Iranian backed terrorist attack using either a radiological dirty or an atomic weapon on Tel Aviv warranting Israel’s full retaliatory strike of biblical proportions. (Think Amalek.)

Nostradamus loved double entendre so we cannot rule out his describing a future time indicating global climate warming so extreme in such marginally arable regions like the Middle East that war comes from regional disputes over water rights. Even the Book of Revelation (Chapter 9, verses 14-15) describes the final battle of Armageddon taking place when the Euphrates River dries up. Currently water flow in the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers falls inexorably towards critical levels through Syria and Iraq because Turkey dams their headwaters to quench the thirst of its own growing water needs. I have been warning about the threat of Armageddon when the waters dry, since 1990, see Millennium Prophecies. Such a collapse of Middle Eastern river systems or further overuse of the Jordan River by Israel and Jordan, or Palestinians and Jews exhausting the West Bank aquifers, could make climate change related wars there just a few years ahead. The 2020s will certainly see its share of resource and climate change wars when Uranus begins a long earth-and-civilization shaking transit of Taurus whilst Pluto shifts its generational upheavals by 2024 to violent and sudden revolution at the beginning of a long, 20-year transit through the sign of Aquarius.

The most important element of Nostradamus’ prophecy is the astrological dating suggested in line one: “In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery.” That means the two planets are in fire signs, preferably the same fire signs. The aspect was active during a window for war that closed when Saturn finished its transit in the fire sign of Leo in September 2007.

Three years ago I explained on page 123 of Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the next time war threatens Iran when Mars and Saturn are “equally fiery”:

“Mars will enter Leo when Saturn is in Sagittarius on far off September 2015. They will not share the same fire sign until the following year. Retrogrades of both planets make for the next rare and unusually magnified interlude of equal fire signs of war from March through May 2015 and again from August through September 2016. It is possible the scenarios of war with Iran written in this book in the spring of 2007 may better reflect a US-Iranian conflict joined in battle nearly a decade from now.”

Now to first things last…Mabus

The other stir of excitement among Nostradamus prophecy watchers last week was President Obama appointing his current Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus to head the commission looking into what went wrong causing the BP Deepwater Horizon rig fire, sinking and catastrophic oil spill. He is said to become the “Gulf Czar” responsible for the oil slick cleanup and restoration of the US Gulf of Mexico coastline, fisheries and tourist industries. Once again, this capable former governor of Mississippi and able US ambassador to Saudi Arabia rises into the limelight of public attention begging for a prophetic explanation. Ray Mabus just so happens to have a surname that is an exact match for the one Nostradamus uses to mask the name of his foreseen third and final Antichrist. The night I appeared on Coast to Coast AM last Wednesday (16 June 2010) was alive with questions about Mabus’ appointment, causing host George Noory and me to spend the bulk of the second hour of three discussing what the appointment of Secretary Mabus to Gulf Czar Mabus might foretell.

Here again is the famous Nostradamus prophecy from Century 2 Quatrain 62:

Mabus puis tost alors mourra, viendra,
De gens & bestes vne horrible defaite:
Puis tout à coup la vengeance on verra,
Cent, main, soif, faim, quand courra la comete.

Mabus very soon then will die, [then] will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

I will share this with you today. Whoever Mabus is, whether his true name hides in the right decoding of the anagram Mabus or if he is an actual man named “Mabus”, what follows in the quatrain are the consequences hatching out from his death: an unraveling of the world of people and animals. Global droughts and famines, a war of a hundred nations when a comet marks his passing or a comet-like missile falls from the sky launching the third world war.

Quatrain 77 of Century 8 takes up the story adding more details about Mabus as the Third Antichrist, the link being that Mabus, like 8 Q77′s Third Antichrist are soon and early on annihilated causing apocalyptic consequences:

L’antechrist trois bien tost annichiliez,
Vingt & sept ans sang durera sa guerre:
Les heretiques morts, captifs, exilez,
Sang corps humain eau rogie gresler terre.

The Third Antichrist very soon annihilated,
Twenty-seven years his bloody war will last.
The heretics [are] dead, captives exiled,
Blood-soaked human bodies, and a reddened, icy hail covering the earth.

It is a heavy trip to unload on a man the label Antichrist who may by freak coincidence appear to be named outright by Nostradamus in a prophecy written over 4.5 centuries ago. It is not surprising therefore, that Ray Mabus first came to my attention in the mid-1990s when President Clinton picked him to be his ambassador to Saudi Arabia. No wonder many readers wrote me about the appointment. A guy named Mabus posted to the Middle East — the very region from which many believed the Third Antichrist either is born or to which he enters from the West. One then anticipates his fall through assassination as first casualty in a 27-year war, causing an unraveling or collapse of civilization and of ecological balance (a horrible undoing of people and animals).

Back in 1995, I answered those many letters with the following statement in Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies (published in 1997). “At this time I don’t sense anything malevolent about the ambassador, but this gives me the opportunity to look at yet another angle to the Mabus enigma. The ambassador may not be the Antichrist but a victim of such. Since the November 1995 car bombing of a US-run military training facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has ended its long exclusion from terrorist acts. From now on Ambassador Mabus has a dangerous assignment and I wish him well. I would not like to see him become the target of a future Gavrilo Princip and have his assassination trigger World War III.”

The best-laid names in Antichrist detective work can go nowhere. By the time the book was finally published with my observations, Ambassador Mabus had left Saudi Arabia without fanfare or prophetic significance, retiring from public service in 1996. Yet a decade later, he came back to my attention in late 2007 as Senator Barack Obama’s unpaid expert on Arab, Middle Eastern relations as well as the head of Obama’s Democratic primary campaign in Mississippi in 2008.

At that time I made the following prediction in my eBook Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named MABUS: “If Obama wins the presidency, the handsome and engaging Raymond Edwin Mabus may serve in his cabinet. Perhaps he will return as some special envoy to the Middle East and start doomsday tongues to wag about the return of the man who is Mabus to the region of the Third Antichrist.”

President Obama rewarded Ray Mabus with the cabinet level post of Secretary of the US Navy. Though not yet a special envoy in name to the Middle East, Mabus at present oversees 900,000 US Navy and Marine service personnel, a majority of which have been deployed to the Middle East. Mabus has frequently returned to that theater. Moreover, Obama has made him a special envoy for the Gulf Region’s recovery once (if) the BP oil spill gushing a volcanic flood of between 60,000 to what some now believe is 100,000 barrels of oil a day is plugged. It is doubtful to me that he can fulfill both jobs effectively at once and we may be seeing the able Secretary Mabus suffer in his work from yet another botched executive decision from a charming president who has come to his destiny too soon with hardly any tested executive skills prior to his election in 2008.

rsonally do not believe Secretary Mabus is the Antichrist. I think the name is a code hiding the real name of one Nostradamus intended. Still, as a scholar of prophecy, I must look beyond my own personal feelings and paint a larger prophetic picture. As you will find out by reading my eBook on Nostradamus’ Antichrist prophecies, they are clues to a mystery with many leads heavily pointing to someone from the Middle East as prime candidate. Moreover, I explain a possibility never before published. Nostradamus may have been confused by what he saw while entranced. Mabus and the Third Antichrist may be two different people in a destined collision. Not only does Ray Mabus have his name but Barack Obama’s surname easily code crunches out of Mabus if it is an anagram, as the book demonstrates. So also does his chief jihadist nemesis, Usama bin Laden.

Osama versus Obama, the latter of which has special envoy to the Gulf and Secretary of a heavily engaged Navy in the Middle East named Mabus. It is enough to confuse and misread the signs of any augury.

Indeed Ray Mabus, a physically fit and mentally sharp man in his early 60s may someday become a president of the United States. Anything is possible in this decade defined by Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in explosive Aries transits. I personally do not consider him an Antichrist figure, but he keeps coming back into view and now in his most significant, worldwide-scrutinized role to date. The prophecies of Nostradamus focus on key events and people that can change the course of destiny. I will and I think all Nostradamus watchers will have to regard the progress of Raymond Edwin Mabus more closely than ever before in the coming years.

A great mushroom cloud ascended into Iraqi skies from a massive truck and car bombing in Baghdad on October 25. It expolded on an intersection of many key Iraqi government ministry buildings, which include the Iraqi Ministry of Justice and the headquarters of the Baghdad Provincial Council, rendering them windowless shells. Days later, the bodies are still being pulled out of the debris. At the time of this writing the death toll rises to more than 160 people, including dozens of children and over 500 are seriously wounded.

This was a direct Sunni insurgent attack on the Shia Iraqi controlled Nuri al-Maliki government. Prime Minister al-Maliki blamed it on Saddam Hussein die-hards aided and abetted by al-Qaeda trying to disrupt the country’s upcoming parliamentary elections.

I had proposed in Predictions for 2009 that progress to bring the three quarrelsome Shia, Sunni and Kurdish communities that make up Iraq into a national coalition would falter by 2010. Though the dictator Saddam Hussein is dead, his evil ghost haunts Iraq’s efforts to forge a sustainable future. In death, Saddam will indeed gain more prophetic capital as Nostradamus’ Third Antichrist, as we will see below.

Ray Mabus Antichrist, Part 2

I want to share more of your comments and reflections stirred by the appointment of Ray Mabus as Secretary of the US Navy in President Obama’s cabinet. Although Mabus has the dubious coincidence, perhaps, of having a name exactly like the code name for Nostradamus’ Third and Final Antichrist, I, like a Muslim reader of my blogs named “Sultan,” tend to lean towards a candidate already dead as chief candidate hidden under Nostradamus’ anagram, see: Mabus antichrist.

Reverse the letters of Mabus and you get Subam. Reverse the b to d and you get Sudam. You can add or subtract redundant letters and get Suddam. Nostradamus’ rules of anagram allow one new letter replacement to finish the letter puzzle. Therefore, you could change the u for an a and get Saddam. However, the Arabic would allow the u to remain because the pronunciation is like a long a for awh or uh: Sawhdam or Suh-dam Hussein. Quatrain 62 of Century 2 in Nostradamus predicts the Antichrist, code named Mabus, achieves his evil destiny after death, causing a “terrible undoing of people and animals”.

At the time of this writing, the dead Saddam Hussein has fulfilled more elements of the Third Antichrist prophecies than any other living candidate. Sultan begins by reminding us to be aware of Muslim perceptions regarding the death of Saddam in this interchange below — which I will enlarge upon for the public:

SULTAN
Sudam Hussein was killed around a day or two before Eid ul Adha, I remember this because I was mad at why they did not kill him after Eid ul Adha.

HOGUE
I posted an article about that on 31 December 2006, the day after he was hung, saying it was a Shiite government’s slap in the collective Sunni faces of Sunni Iraqis. Beyond that, an indelicate gesture against the civility of all Muslims, especially because of what Eid ul Adha represents to all members of the Ummah (the community of 1 billion Muslims around the world).

SULTAN
See on Eid ul Adha Muslims sacrifice sheep to God, to commemorate how prophet Abraham was allowed to spare his son, and instead sacrifice the sheep, and I guess this is what Nostradamus saw. He probably saw Muslims sacrificing sheep or cattle and that is why he said there would be a great slaughter of animals, but I can’t explain the human part.

Sultan, that is a unique take on the Mabus Prophecy. I’m not sure Nostradamus meant it that way, since he was a Jew whose family became Christian just before he was born. Yet, he indeed being Jewish might use the biblical metaphor of Abraham and Isaac to date Saddam’s death on Eid ul Adha. Maybe it is one of his double entendres. He dates the death of Saddam on a festival of animal sacrifice that would lead later to the wholesale sacrifice of people if Iraq. A peaceful resolution of pent up Sunni and Shia Iraqi sectarian passions is key in preventing the war of the Third Antichrist. Were Iraq to unravel, it could take the entire Middle Eastern region down with it in a future religious civil war. Then would come the terrible destruction of people after the sacrifice of animals, if that is how to interpret the famous Mabus prophecy. Thus, the death of the dictator who suppressed these passions let the genie out of the noisome bottle.

Nostradamus was definitely aware of Islamic ideas and had some knowledge of Arabic as it appears in his prophecies. However, he did view Islam with the prejudices of 16th-century Westerners fearful of Ottoman Suleiman the Magnificent’s attempts to expand his conquests into Christendom. I do believe Ottoman encroachment colored his view of the Ummah in the future.

SULTAN
Maybe he saw a riot that broke out in Iraq, over power, I don’t know.

HOGUE

I don’t know either. I know this, I pray that Iraq will find its way, and the various brothers and sisters of different understandings of the Prophet Muhammad can live in peace there. I have hope now that there is a chance, Inch Allah (God willing).
