I will be on Coast to Coast AM, this Monday (23 January, at 11 pm (Pacific) for a three-hour prophecy marathon with George Noory as host. We will go over many predictions in my new e-Book concerning this important year 2012 and how it will dramatically impact the climate in politics as well as weather, the economy, seismic activity, and will rock the world of seven billion people and counting.

It is an interesting coincidence that this Sunday History Channel crowded the airwaves with three documentaries in which I figure prominently as a guest. The most important of these is Nostradamus: 2012. In it, you will see a crowd of Twenty-Twelver experts make their pitch that Nostradamus foresaw the winter solstice of 2012, purportedly marking the end of a great cycle of civilization as plotted by pre-Columbian astronomers of the ancient Central American Mayan civilization.

You will see me often talking about Nostradamus in the show, but you will not see me endorse the other expert views that 12-21-12, as plotted by the most accurate calendar ever calculated without computers, marks the end of the world or the end of the world as we have known it and Nostradamus agreed with this finding.

You will hear the talking heads around me hype the “Lost Book of Nostradamus” as grounds for tying Nostradamus to 2012, using as evidence the book’s nebulous watercolor illustrations pointing with the constellation Sagittarius’ bow and arrow at a coal sack in space that marks the galactic center. We are led to imagine that Nostradamus has painted this point and the lineup that will happen between the Sun and Earth with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy just like what was foreseen to happen this coming winter solstice by the Maya.

One thing I aim to do with my prophecies for 2012 e-book is to dispel this nonsense. For one thing, Nostradamus could not draw and many of the watercolors are poorly aped copies of anti-papal, Cathar mystical drawings composed centuries before Nostradamus was born. The book in question is not only “lost” it is falsely attributed to Nostradamus.

In addition, the Mayan “galactic alignment” has already happened, making 2012 not the “end all” year, but certainly another significant stepping stone in times beyond end time on the path of History’s quickening pace.

That exact alignment took place 13 years ago! The Maya may have been good without computers but modern science and calculations made at Jet Propulsion Laboratory have shown the exact galactic line up took place sometime between the winter solstices of 1998 and 1999!

Nostradamus DID NOT write the Lost Book of Nostradamus or draw its altogether vague prophetic watercolors.

Nostradamus NEVER mentioned the year 2012!

What Nostradamus DID write was his prediction that 1999 was the pivotal year when history would begin its apocalyptic inclination towards a new cycle of centuries, a new age.

To be fair, Mayan prophecy of end times told rightly or wrongly has achieved a critical mass of popular attention and for better or worse my new book of prophecies will chronicle that 2012 has become an end time of sorts, because we have imposed significant deadlines upon it.

US President Barack Obama faces a political doomsday. The US government stagnates in a critical mass of political gridlock too. Time is running out in Washington DC to get America’s fiscal house in order before a deficit bomb blows.

US Congress may let the clock run out on protection agencies, health and labor laws shielding citizens from dirty water, food, air. As many as 191 nations across the world wait for 2012 to end with pollution-bated breath. Legally binding targets set by the Kyoto Protocol in 1997 to reduce climate emissions that contribute to global warming will run out.

Gabriel’s Horn may blow, taking down European banks that can no longer postpone the inevitable: to either sustain or shed bankrupt member countries of the Euro Monetary Union. End times are coming to the US-Pakistani alliance with significant consequences for the US-NATO occupation of Afghanistan.

NeoCons are also blowing their horns very hard and loud from the halls of Washington to Jerusalem to propagate a war with Iran over its purported nuclear weapons program, just like they successfully NeoConned America in 2002 to invade and occupy Iraq with little actionable evidence.

A string of critical mass actions make 2012 the year when corporate push comes to citizen shove on the streets of the world. The Arab Spring of 2011 will give birth to an “American Spring” in 2012.

My Oracle in this new e-Book takes you on a journey through the days of this pivotal year, the first real “Oh Shit!” year of the 21st century. It will help you anticipate and understand what is really going down in current events in a year when the mollifying media forces of corporate interests try hard to steer your intelligence away from our quickening history like never before.

2012 is not a year of galactic alignment. It is a year of a great convergence, a collision between the old humanity and it status quo, its dogmas and fossilized traditions of religious and political control pitted against the rise of a new humanity that sees change as an imperative to survive and evolve a better world out of the coming planetary upheaval.

Today, hundreds of millions of people are practicing meditation, more than the sum total of all those who meditated in the last 5,000 years. Through such efforts in self-observation, people across the world are becoming aware they must break out of conditioned patterns and sever their ties with those fossilized traditions of the past that will bring on the coming catastrophes.

Happy Chinese New Year of the Dragon to you all, both long-time and new readers of this web site. There is quite a flood of new readers pouring in because of my scheduled appearances on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory on Monday night and the Kevin Smith Show on Wednesday evening. I thought it would be a good time to renew for veteran readers and introduce to all you new readers a brief manifesto of what HogueProphecy.com is all about.

Prophecy is an echo of actions engaged in the only time we known in which we are empowered to affect a change in destiny: the eternity of the present – this atomic moment. This little flash of Present is the silent explosion that lights the soul, every moment, dying and being reborn. From awareness of this profound and immediate moment come insights, intelligence and all creative solutions to human and global problems.

I am a scholar and purveyor of prophecy who is anti-prophetic. My interest is in taking you through the potentials of the future to help make you better understand the realities of the present day, which these potentials echo. If those gifted with future sight share with us prophecy that reverberates a dissonance, they are only telling us to change our “tune” in the present to something more harmonious.

Only a humanity that brings its full life force and energy into the present moment can change the dire dissonance of the future reverbing back to us in the potential realm of tomorrow.

Hogueprophecy.com provides a matrix of information where current events and potential converge for examination and understanding. As its creator, I bring to this website not only the scholarship and knowledge of prophets and their techniques from around the world, from all recorded times, I also bring the subjective experience of the prophet from direct experience. One cannot know love by simply studying it empirically. Prophecy, like love, is intimate, subjective – experiential. I strive to find a middle way as a correspondent reporting on the future from a place of meditative awareness poised between intellectual scholarship and existential practice of prophecy.

The idiom I choose to present these findings is in articles posted here at Hogueprophecy once or twice a week, if possible, numbering on average around 150,000 words and 72 to 106 articles each year.

Nostradamus.

I augment a prodigious output of free information composing and posting e-Books you can download that delve far deeper into prophetic themes. Following the tradition of the 16th-century French seer Nostradamus, these books include releasing an almanac of prophecies for each year and if I can, one other book each year enlarging on an important theme.

I would like to either refresh my current – or introduce to my newest readers – links to pages presenting an overview of three of these prophetic e-books that have only gained more importance and documented accuracy with the passing of time.

1. Nostradamus: The War with Iran

Will there be a military crisis when the navies of the United States and Iran play chicken in the most narrow and crowded oil shipping lanes of the world in 2012?

Nostradamus’ visions are filled with descriptions of fleets being melted and sunk in the “Arabian Gulf” (the name people of his time gave to what we call the oil rich hotbed of the Persian Gulf). He describes the fate of those along the northern coast of the Strait of Hormuz, named outright in his prophecies written over 450 years ago, from where Iranian vessels are based.

One fleet foundering in the Arabian Gulf is that of the “true serpent”. “The Trident” melts the other. Is he trying to describe the “smooth and alien shape” of what he calls in his prophecies an “iron fish” – a future US Trident submarine? Or, is he cryptically describing a trident symbol hidden in the abstract shape of a red rose of the martyr centered in the white stripe of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary tricolor national flag?

Could the “true serpent” be a 16th-century man’s attempt to explain the US Navy Jack, the flag flown by the US Fifth Fleet on station patrolling the Persian Gulf that displays a rattlesnake over a field of thirteen white and red stripes, under which is written the American Revolutionary motto “Don’t Tread on Me”?

I collected all of Nostradamus’ references to a future war with Iran in early 2007. Given the rising tensions and brinkmanship of US and Iranian navies in the Strait of Hormuz, it might be good to re-examine my interpretations especially as Nostradamus clearly dates the window for a war in those waters which, if it happens will directly impact your lives. 2. Nostradamus and the Antichrist: Code Named MABUS

I wrote an e-Book in the spring and summer of 2008 that even now, as I read it again, the message reads as if it were written yesterday. I would not update anything. It describes the most burning controversy in the study of Nostradamus.

Who is the third and final Antichrist he foresaw?

Is he alive among us today?

Nostradamus is unique among prophets foreseeing not one but three Antichrists. He gives them cryptic names. The first may have been Napoleon King (Napaulon Roy). The second (Hister), Adolf Hitler.

The third he code names Mabus. Using Nostradamus’ laws of anagram word play, there are a number of modern leaders and jihad terrorists from the Middle East as well as their chief adversaries – two modern American presidents – whose names can be decoded from Mabus. Whether they are intended or not by Nostradamus, the four principle candidates are Saddam Hussein, G.W. Bush, Osama bin Laden, and the current US president, Barack Obama. The latter even has a member of his cabinet who is named “Mabus”. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus to be exact, who is quite busy with a naval standoff with Iran in the Persian Gulf.

3. The Last Pope and the Last Pope Revisited

Pope Benedict XVI is aging. He is in his mid-80s and was seen rolled into Christmas Midnight Mass held at 10 pm because of his age. There have been rumors that he might step down as Vicar of Christ for over 1 billion Catholic believers, though I doubt he will relinquish the throne of St. Peter. What is a mathematic certainty is the days of Benedict XVI are numbered. With his passing, we enter the most important period in Catholic Prophecy. We will witness a new pope ordained who the Medieval Irish prophet, St. Malachy foretold will be the last pope before Judgment Day.

It is said that St. Malachy in 1148 listed 111 successors to the throne of St. Peter, naming each with a cryptic Latin motto. For instance Pope Benedict’s predecessor, John Paul II, is called De labore solis (from the Sun’s Eclipse). John Paul was born in 1920 on a solar eclipse and interred in his tomb under St. Peter’s Basilica in 2005 on the day of a solar eclipse.

Pope Benedict was foreseen as De gloria olivae (from the Glory of the Olive). Catholic monks of the Benedictine order had anticipated a pope from their ranks would rule during the times of the Apostasy (crisis of faith) for the Catholic Church – this Christian sect’s version of the Tribulation before the Apocalypse. Though Cardinal Ratzinger took on the name of St. Benedict as pope, he is not actually from that holy order; however, there is a sect of Benedictines charged with preparing the world for the apocalypse as foretold by Jesus Christ on the Mount of Olives. They are known as the Olivetans (Olivae). Thus it is believed that the reign of Pope Benedict marks the beginning of the tribulations of the Church. One need only recognize the great sexual abuse scandal rocking Benedict’s Church these days and wonder if it is a sign of this. Especially when evidence mounts that Benedict before he was crowned successor to Pope John Paul was actively engaged in suppressing evidence of priests sexually abusing young boys around the world.

Benedict’s name and destiny is hidden in the 111th motto of St. Malachy. After him comes the Last Pope, mysteriously named after the first Bishop of Rome, Petrus Romanus (Peter of Rome). His name appears in St. Malachy’s coda to his prophecies – a vision that may be only months or a few years away:

During the last persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there shall sit Peter of Rome, who shall feed the sheep amidst many tribulations, and when these have passed, the City of the Seven Hills [Rome] shall be utterly destroyed, and the awful Judge will judge the people.

It really does not matter. I always felt Romney would be one of the last two candidates standing. But events are ever the judge of predictions. Yesterday, Governor Perry heeded Gingrich’s call to rally conservative votes against Romney by leaving the race. He endorsed the former Speaker of the House. Back in June, I predicted Perry would still be in the race with Romney and would win the nomination on a conservative surge. That was wrong.

Well, as Governor Perry famously would say, “oops!”

I have much better luck picking winners of presidential campaigns by popular vote, such as Nixon over Humphrey in 1968 by a half million votes, Nixon over McGovern in 1972, Carter over Ford (1976), Reagan over Mondale (twice, 1980 and 1984). Nevill Drury, you still owe me a spaghetti dinner in Sydney Australia, next time I am there. That was the bet. I picked H.W. Bush over Dukakis in 1988 and you believed it was impossible.

I did write in 1983 for the Rajneesh Times a forecast foreseeing Reagan as a two-term president. H.W. Bush would follow as a one-term president. After him would come a two-term democrat president in 1992. That turned out to be Bill Clinton, who went on to win a second term.

The Bush-Gore contest in 2000 generated my oracle’s most cryptic message that many of you heard on Coast to Coast AM and the Jeff Rense programs before the election. The message was, Al Gore would win over George W. Bush by 500,000 votes but I was going to be “equally right” and “equally wrong” about Gore. Well, as it turned out Gore did win by a half-million popular votes but was denied the presidency by five votes out of four in the US Supreme Court over the ballot counting dispute in Florida.

Hogueprophecy was born around that time and since then I have documented the presidential victories of G.W. Bush over John Kerry in 2004 and Barack Obama over John McCain by around 8 percent of the popular vote in 2008.

Now, when you look at this record of accomplishment of 11 and 0, there is enough to make both Democrats and Republicans angry at my predictions picking candidates they do not want in the White House. So, when I say once again what I have been forecasting since January 2009 that Barack Obama will win a second term, do not think I am saying that with prophetic bias. If the prediction upsets you, look at your own expectations and biases when judging the guy who accurately forecast Republican victories in seven out of eleven presidential contests.

Anyway, I like to take risks and I often play the “Pick the Loser” prophetic game even though I do it with mixed results. Despite Gingrich’s surge in South Carolina, other primaries are coming with more national impact. Moderate Republicans are still alive and well in the GOP. After the Super Tuesday primaries, Romney will seize the lead and never look back. Romney will be running against Obama for 2012. Now to Iran…

As promised, I want to share a fascinating prophecy from the 16th-century seer, Michel Nostradamus that predicts a showdown in “Carmania” the 16th-century name for the northern coast of the Strait of Hormuz. This is the narrow passage where a third of all global oil exports pass. This is the waterway the Iranian Navy threatens to block if economic sanctions being considered by Washington DC cripples Iran’s only significant export resource. The US Navy has also warned that any attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz would cross a red alarm line and there would be military action in reaction.

So, with that said, I wish to quote a passage I wrote in early 2007 for my e-Book, Nostradamus: The War with Iran.

Carmania is a Persian territory on the northern shore of the Strait of Hormuz. Since Nostradamus wrote this, nothing historically significant has taken place there until recent times. We have to keep our eyes open for the French word sainct (“holy,” or “sacred”). Nostradamus hides his blasphemies from the Church inquisitors by playing off a Gothic “s” or “ƒ” for either “s” or “f.” Just like you can turn “friend” into “fiend” Nostradamus takes swipes at the Catholic Church by hiding fainct (false) behind ƒainct (sacred). This time around the false religion is that brand of Islam worshipped by terrorists. The “false” holy or fundamentalist fanatics, like al-Qaeda’s leader, Usama bin Laden, dream of establish- ing an intolerant Caliphate across the Islamic world. It was the al-Qaeda cell in Hamburg, Germany, that financed and planned the September 11 attacks on America in 2001.

The Ishmaelites (read: the Arabs of al-Qaeda) find “open” spaces in Germany to base a war of terror on Europe and the US.

Line three shifts attention to Iran, to Carmania, the northern coast of the Strait of Hormuz where so much of the world’s oil exports pass and can be so easily cut off. The asses is Nostradamus’ general condemnation of the Islamic fundamentalists of Iran, near past and future. Their brand of fearful, grim, Saturnian Islamist ideology will land its adherents inside white shrouds of Islamic burial. It predicts also the final burial of Usama bin Laden, or Ahmadinejad, or Ayatollah Khamenei’s or any other Jihadists’ mad hateful dream of a totalitarian theocratic world Caliphate. The war with Iran will initiate the beginning of “their” ideology’s end in naval suicide attacks across the waters of the Strait of Hormuz.

Things are not what they seem. There is saber rattling in the Persian Gulf (or what Nostradamus called in his predictions about a future war with Iran, the “Arabian” Gulf). Your corporately funded and controlled mainstream news outlets like to prey on the childishness of the masses. They play our overlording parent waving a saber baby rattle to attract a child’s wondering attention as the nurse, as it were, prepares the painful butt shot.

Watch the rattling saber, my fellow babies. Coo your concern and fatal attraction to a war being pushed upon you with Iran by a military industrial complex that needs to find another market in the highly profitable big business of war armaments and deterrents in the Middle East. The war business lost the Iraq market with the pullout of the US military occupation. Pakistan’s radicalization will soon pinch off the war market in Afghanistan, much sooner than the deadline of 2014, by the way.

The public’s infantile attention is directed elsewhere, away from real dangers lurking in the highly unstable and Islamist-bound regime along the Indus River. Pakistan with its crash program to triple its nuclear weapons stockpile is adding 200 more 25 to 35 kiloton nuclear warheads to its current arsenal of 100 nukes by 2021. The press obsesses on Iran maybe someday building an atomic bomb. Terrorist cells train in Pakistan in the vicinity of 100-plus nuclear warhead stockpiles TODAY. A Pakistani military and government already heavily infiltrated by jihadist sympathizers guard these Islamic A-bombs. The same military and government that often give Afghani Taliban logistical and intelligence support when they attack US and NATO forces occupying Afghanistan.

Iran is years away from having the ability to build atomic weapons. At any moment now, a Pakistani warhead or radioactive materials stockpiled to build hundreds more could be smuggled to the Taliban or what is left of al-Qaeda. The tools of nuclear terrorism can at any moment be smuggled out of Pakistani military bases and handed over to emerging and strengthening organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba. This Pakistani based jihadist network effectively shot up downtown Mumbai India in November 2008.

Iran may soon become a danger, but Pakistan, right now, IS a danger and its growing instability becomes a more clear and present threat to human peace and stability than what the Iranians may or may not be doing with their nuclear civilian program at this time. I predict it will be proven that Iran is only learning how to make an atomic bomb. They will not actually build them. Israel introduced these awful weapons of mass atomic destruction into the Middle East in the 1960s. They now have an arms race lead of an estimated 80 to 300 warheads. It is impossible to catch up given the scrutiny and economic sanctions placed on Iran.

Rattle, rattle, rattle goes the sword of war in its scabbard, daily and nightly on the 24-hour news cycles of corporately left-leaning CNN to corporately right-leaning Fox News propaganda organs of the politically two-faced aristocracy of our times. The elites do not cite bloodlines as their reason for being the alpha male and female class. They cite bottom lines of immense hoards of corporate wealth and influence over totalitarian and democratic government politicians of our day.

They have an agenda. They want to “inject” something into the backside of the Middle East to control the juice of their affluence, the black blood that runs our civilization: the last location of easy-to-drill petroleum that happens to lie underneath volatile Arab and Persian states. Since 2006 and in my book about war with Iran, I have been writing about a movement masquerading behind the US and Israeli governments that is neo-Imperialist, Neo-Conservative. It has the former deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz and the former Vice President Dick Cheney as its earliest author and editor of a manifesto first introduced shortly after the end of the Cold War, that strategically planned a new way for American superpower to remain relevant after the Soviet Union’s collapse. In short, America with help or unilaterally must take down the rogue regimes of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and the Islamic Revolutionary regime of Iran so that oil can run free and fully under the sphere of influence of the United States. If war and occupation must happen in Iraq and Iran, then so be it. As I listed in a recent article Israel Iran Strike, the Wolf, his Dick and many other leading figures in the Neo-Conservative movement crowded the G.W. Bush administration’s cabinet. They successfully pushed the US Congress in October of 2002 to grant war powers to the president based on a lot of saber rattling and no solid evidence that Saddam Hussein had a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction that was an imminent threat to the United States. All complete and hyperbolic BS, as it turned out, but it got the Neo-Conservatives half way to their goal, even though it did not get them the oil because the Bush administration proved to be a bungling gaggle of faux Imperialists. Saddam’s Iraq went down. Iran, you are next.

I have also been at pains to forewarn my readers that this cabal of Neo-Cons marries right wing corporate interests in the US to Zionist supremacists in Israel, which would have the US expend its treasure and its blood to fulfill the foreign policies of Israel. This has become an absurdist turn of events where the proxies control the superpower. I understand why Israel might seek to manipulate a friend and military giant to wage its wars and aggressive foreign policies in a region hostile to its existence. I understand why Iran might want to know how to build an atomic bomb when hundreds of Israeli warheads are pointed at its people, which an any point might be unleashed.

What you, my readers, need to understand is that Iran’s oil reserves are dwindling. Teheran plans in the next few decades to build 15 nuclear plants because the next generation of Iranians will need a new industry beyond the fading oil export industry, and a new source of electricity and power to generate it. Iran MUST go ahead with its nuclear program for its economic survival and the only way it can pay for it is to export oil while there is still oil to ship out through the Strait of Hormuz.

Cut its ability to export and you have cut Iran’s economic future below the knees. When you shut a country’s economy down and stop talking to them, you leave that country only a military option. More on that a little later.

Know this also, that Iran seeks like any other signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the knowledge to build atomic weapons.

Did we sanction Taiwan, South Korea, or Japan decades before when they tested and acquired the know-how to build atomic weapons, just in case a nuclear power like Communist China might threaten?

The saber rattles and rattles your attention away from the hypocrisies and big business oil and big business military players behind the facades of President Bush, President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

The war market is in a crisis. The infernal shop of conflict is closing for the moment in Iraq and in Afghanistan soon. There is ever less reason out there for US taxpayers to bankroll this capitalist welfare program that fields a Cold War sized Imperial US armed force after strategic threats requiring such a behemoth had vanished with the Cold War over 20 years ago. Global economic pressures also push America to downsize its stupendous military might. It is ten times more powerful than any armed force that could vaguely threaten. Now that Saddam is gone, the big boots of a Soviet sized bogeyman look even more ridiculous if you try to shove them on little, rat faced Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s feet.

A resumption of a global cold war with the Soviet replacement, the Russian Federation, is unlikely for now, so big war businessmen must seek a regional cold war business model. Iran is perfect for this. The military industrialists would prefer containing Iran for decades rather than a short sharp and messy conflict. The Cold War between the US and Soviet Union cost relatively few American lives, compared to the First and Second World Wars but made contractors in the Military Industrial Complex insanely rich off taxpayer’s dollars just preparing for, but not actually waging, doomsday. The same set up is happening in the Persian Gulf Cold War starting in 2012. Huge defense spending contracts and orders are already going through, soon to rebuild and reboot the air forces and missile defense systems of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States with the most modern and most pricey US weaponry on the market.

The more moderate puppet masters competing to pull the strings of the current US president and Israeli Prime Minister would seek to postpone a major war with Iran. Building and sustaining military deterrents is much more war profitable. At least postpone until the middle of the decade at the earliest because fantastic profits are theirs for the taking in a ramp up of Saudi and Gulf State rearmament for the next four years.

There is at the moment a more impatient set of polemical puppet masters of the Neo-Con-cum-Zionist faction of the military industrial complex that want to give Iran what I would call the “Japanese Ultimatum” – the no choice but war option. They know they cannot stop Iran from exploring nuclear weapons unless they can somehow push Teheran out of its passive aggressive foreign policy game into some precipitous action. All the last attempts during the Bush administration since 2005 through 2008 to create a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz in which most of the oil shipped by sea to the world passes failed because the Iranians did not take the provocative bait. They have not taken the bait in a clandestine war the US started waging inside Iran since 2005. Terrorists the US supports are available for weapons and bomb training in a number of non-Persian ethnic populations in Iran. The CIA and Israeli Mossad secret services have trained these to blow up hundreds of people in bombed planes, squares and mosques across Iran since 2005.

Your corporate Western media does not want you to know that.

The serial assassination of nearly a half dozen nuclear physicists and scientists of late is just an escalation of this secret war of terrorism waged against Iranians by Israeli and CIA operatives.

Oh! I’m sorry. These roadside bombers aren’t terrorists. If the good guys blow women and children up with car bombs in crowded streets of Iran, they are “freedom fighters.”

Now, to be fair, Iran’s government is getting its own back. They wage clandestine war against Israel ever since this secret war started, using the proxies of Hezbollah and have sent military trainers by the hundreds to teach Hezbollah terrorists how to launch imported Iranian rockets falling on innocent Israeli civilians. A large part of the 5,000 US and Coalition soldiers killed in Iraq and to some extent Afghanistan were fatally maimed by an ever more deadly evolution of Iranian manufactured roadside bombs.

The Iranian-US-Israeli regional Cold War has been on since 2005, yet in 2012, it could go potentially hot, like the global cold war between the US and the Soviet Union almost did during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Especially now that the Neo-Cons are doing everything they can through the media and through political pressure in the US to push upon Obama the “Japanese Ultimatum” against Iran.

In late 2011, the US Senate voted unanimously to enact a regimen of sanctions handed to President Obama that would cripple Iran’s one economic lifeline, its oil exports. Obama would prefer to push the Iranians in increments, but forces pulling the strings and holding the financial purses of Democratic and Republican puppets in the Senate have pressed for an escalation that will, if successful, end all political support for a negotiated solution in Iran.

It is kind of a reverse image of what happened to Imperial Japan just before they went to war with the US in 1941. The expansion, indeed the survival, of the Japanese Empire depended on foreign exports of steel and oil to fuel and arm its military. Most of these exports came from America. When President Franklin D. Roosevelt put an embargo on all oil and steel exports to Japan, he forced the diplomats out of power in Tokyo. War hawk officers filled the void in the Japanese Cabinet of Emperor Hirohito. Negotiations had turned to ultimatums from America to get out of Indo-China and China. In less than a year, Japan’s military machine would cease to work. No country with a war machine and Imperial intentions, be they Japan in the 1940s or Neo-Conned America in the 21st century, will let their forces run out of steel and fuel. War was the only option Japan had. They attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 to destroy the US Pacific Fleet so their own fleet and army could conquer the oil fields of Indonesia without US threat.

History past becomes history future, relatively easy to forecast, because people keep conditioning their new generations to repeat the same stupid mistakes. All the elements of the Japan Ultimatum are in this Iran Ultimatum passed by the US Senate. Oil is again the catalyst for war, only this time it is not oil denied to Iran’s domestic industries and military forces. Iranian oil exports will be severely restrained “from” Iran.

Rather than aid a negotiated settlement, like with Japan, the cynical intention of these sanctions is to flush out any remaining doves from the Iranian government, which has already become more militarized and dominated by its own General Hideki Tojos, the officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. If you want to force the hand of war, push sanctions that are impossible to economically survive. Threaten a nation’s economic existence.

There is another objective, more cynical and dreadful happening here and Iran is only the bait, not the target. The target is a slow but fragile recovery of the US economy during a presidential election year. There are well-financially-healed oligarchic forces in the world influencing American politics that could easily absorb a temporary financial hit in 2012 if it takes down the Obama administration and what is left of the toe hold the Democrats have in the US Senate.

The creeping coup of a corporate aristocracy had already conquered the US Supreme Court in 2010 and received their “equal citizen status” allowing an empowered plutocracy to flood money and influence to decide the US elections according to what their money can buy and what you human citizens of America cannot lobby and possibly match fund.

The real reason why a push for war with Iran goes on whilst the real danger of nuclear terrorist proliferation remains unaddressed in Pakistan, is to create a false flag crisis in the Persian Gulf that disrupts oil flow out of the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan needs to go radical so the same Neo-Cons who looked the other way to let 9-11 terror attacks on America happen, can yet again resurrect a jihadist bogeyman that will require decades of deterrent military spending.

But I get ahead of myself. First, false flag a conflict with Iran in 2012. The Strait of Hormuz is closed to oil traffic. The skyrocketing oil prices will then temporarily push the US economy back into a recession. The economic downturn will be blamed on President Obama. A little war of gunboats in the Strait of Hormuz might just tip the economy back into 10 percent unemployment and convince enough voters that Obama and the Democrats controlling the Senate need to be flushed out with their votes in November 2012. A far more big business friendly Republican president and Congress in Washington would lead to a speedier dismantling of the US democracy in the name of smaller government.

Nevertheless, I believe this attempt by corporate forces will not be successful. The president will use his discretion in 2012 to attempt measured application of the Iranian sanctions. There may be a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz no later than June through August 2012. Even if there was a brief naval skirmish in 2012, it is only preliminary to the ultimate military showdown Nostradamus’ astrology seems to frame for the years 2015 and 2016.

Babies are easily distracted. The saber’s rattle of corporate interests might backfire when a baby’s attention catches upon something else that is bright and shiny, like a diplomatic breakthrough that only the threat of war might propel in the 11th hour concession from Teheran. Iran may take the enemy away from the military industrial complex pushers and surrender their nuclear weapon aspirations in 2012; or, at least achieve gaining some time in that tried and true Iranian tradition of diplomatic stalling.

Iran is a country that knows how to buy time. It has lasted for 3,000 years. However, if real diplomatic breakthroughs are not forthcoming in 2012, Iran is only buying time up to 2015 or 2016 when a terrible war showdown will come out of its skies and melt its fleets of motorboats in the Persian Gulf. Another fleet might be melted and sunk as well. Nostradamus leaves that potential open.

A conflict between Iranians and Western forces was certainly foretold in one of Nostradamus’ prophecies where he named the Strait of Hormuz outright by the name it held during the 16th century. We will examine the prophecy in my next article.

When I read his 2011 predictions I felt like he was putting in words everything I felt intuitively about our world.

After reading Predictions for 2011, I had a thousand questions I wanted to ask him.

We received the following note from John Hogue: “Most of my answers to your questions are dated from no later than 8 March of 2011. I have inserted updates in red, composed nearly five months afterwards, on 6 August 2011.”

Here we go:

John, we might be thousands of miles apart but we are all the same rock and what happens in one part of this planet is going to affect us all. Has the natural balance been lost? Will the Earth deliver a wake-up call to humanity this year?

Conditioning plays a subtle and mostly unnoticed influence on how we interpret or anticipate the future. We are programmed to expect the future to apocalyptically explode upon us like a Roland Emmerish movie. We look for Hollywood effects of his movie 2012 sliding California into the ocean. We look for climate change to superstorm in overnight like in his Day after Tomorrow. The fact we overlook for decades now is that the balance of nature is already lost and we are already listing from a tipping point in climate change that is too gradual for our Holly-wooden headed mindsets to pick up.

We seek apocalyptic times grilled up hot and fast with an order of globally warmed fries — fast food style in less than a American-impatient minute. Nevertheless, global warming and climate change is coming at us a little slower, like an afternoon-long seven course French lunch that is equally going to be French-fried.

History is quickening but not yet at a pace of wake-up calls most people want to recognize.

In my almanac of prophecies  (see 2011 predictions), I said this would be the year when the mainstream starts hearing the first clangs of alarm bells of the unsustainable. I pinpointed two wake-up calls: food sustainability and a redoubling of violent weather, seismic events and other natural disasters that are made unnaturally destructive by humanity’s wholesale abuse of the planet and its climate. Another bell ringing alarm though less noticed by people is the birth of the 7 billionth child set for 2011. Also it would seem that my oft documented warning of a second global economic crisis in the first half of 2011 is on track for fulfillment, and the source will be a rise in oil prices beyond $100 a barrel that continue to climb.

It is important to note here that though Arab revolutions play a powerful factor in the oil price rise, the real cause is something far more systemic to our habit of growing demands that cannot be sustained by how we have worked things in the past. Oil and food prices are going up because emergent middle classes around the world are demanding food and energy the global supersystems of oil, energy production and agriculture cannot sustain.

So, more shocks, more wake up calls are coming and will redouble this year of 2011, and again in 2012, and 2013, 2014, and so on until we reach the decade wherein waits the greatest threat to civilization, the decade I have been writing about for over 20 years and counting that I call “The Roaring 2020s.”

If the wake-up calls are not being heeded now, they will be in 2020, at a time when it will be far more difficult to turn destiny around without much of the world plunging into a new wave of Fascism.

Today’s conditioned reflex to anticipate fast food, Roland Emmerich-like, Teutonically Wagnerian, Hollywood style wake up calls will lead to emergency rule in the 2020s that looks a whole lot like Germanic Fascism of the 1930s and 1940s.

I do not want that future. That is why I am scaring the be-jeesus out of readers now. Pull your head off the big mac, boys and girls. The tipping point is lurching since 1998. Wake up now, while you can still enjoy the freedom to wake up at all.

The great Jewish Philosopher Rambam said in effect that Everything is foretold, but we still have free will. How do wrap our heads around this concept? Is it all predestined as written in the Book of Revelation or the writings of Nostradamus?

Let me first answer with a metaphor upon which we all can meditate:

There are many destinies for sale in the wholesale store of Time.

All the potential futures are lining the shelves of Cosmic “Costco”. Coming through the sliding doors from the present is a purchaser of a future. An individual “buys” a future by his or her actions. He or she possess it, identifies with it, thus it changes a person’s life. We become what destiny we consume. The potential future procured either gives the customer positive or negative future stimuli.

A million Cosmic Costco purchasers collectively buying and moving “units” of destiny is a mass of actions causing future reactions and by consequence, creating trends. These trends are our future history.

Thanks to Scarletwhore, I can introduce you to the noted Jewish mystic, Rabbi Rambam (thank you, mam).

Rambam is on the right track. Though, from my experiences of glimpsing this state of awareness, I would propose that all things are happening at once, forever. How we track them says more about the level of our awareness and the limits of the particular corner of the “multi-verse” in which we live embodied or dis-embodied.

Everything has happened. Everything will happen. Everything is happening. All at once in a million years that pass with the snap of one’s fingers. Not all the “products” of potential futures are taken down from the shelves of Akashic Costco, as it were. So, not all the futures for sale happen, even though they exist. That is why sometimes the sensitive among us can see an alternative future we have not yet or never will “purchase.”

Nostradamus has a different way of saying the same thing Rambam may be implying. What I gather about Nostradamus’ take is his tortured and dyslexic attempt to describe what a prophet can sometimes tap into by the grace of the divine: a continuum of events that are on the periphery of witnessing consciousness. The prophet momentarily glimpses this and if he or she is a skillful and unattached medium, he or she can describe for us the potential inclinations of our future trends days, weeks or hundreds of years hence.

The future is not “this” divine witnessing. Nor is the past. Yet, the present is the doorway through which a remembrance of and union with this witness can be understood.

You use this term ‘Super System’. You say ‘All of these supersystems are super-overstressed.’ Are we at the breaking point of these super-systems? And what are the signs when they begin to collapse?

In the year 2011, we begin hearing the ringing alarms of large artificial and natural systems that sustain a global civilization and an ecological balance of nature. For instance, the natural world has the supersystem of ocean currents, jet streams, monsoons, the supersystem of rainforests that refresh the atmosphere and so on. These sustain the climate and weather balance of nature. Starting in 1998 and accelerated further since 2008, the natural climacteric supersystems have begun to go awry in a way that at last has become noticeable even to the mainstream mass semi-conscious minded humanity. They may be generally still in denial to the cause of climate disruption but as we experienced wilder weather every year, especially a quickening of such last year in 2010, most people on earth will agree there is global weirding of the weather even if a majority do not believe in global warming as the cause.

The year 2011 will be remembered as the time humanity’s artificial supersystems began showing the first signs of their potential collapse later on in the 2020s.

I described artificial, human manufactured supersystems in Predictions for 2011 in the following way: “Supersystems are those interconnected mechanisms of a modern global civilization keeping it functioning, such as the global transport system, the worldwide web feeding us information, keeping us connected. The agricultural system sustains nourishment for our exploding population. We have supersystems entrusted with budgetary responsibility to run public services. We have a banking supersystem that invests. The world currently is powered by a fossil fuel supersystem that fuels ALL economies.”

In my forecasts for 2011 written in October through early December of last year, I forecast the first alarm bell of an approaching failure of supersystems would begin ringing this year, such as in the supersystem of food production. This is now happening as foreseen because the natural supersystem of the climate is coming unhinged and redoubling the weather and earthquake violence of 2010 in 2011.

Russian grain exports halted because of droughts and fires in 2010, grain belts of Australia submerged in catastrophic floods from a more potent monsoon laced with enhanced cyclonic storms (hurricanes). China’s wheat exports are way down because of wheat crop failures from central continental droughts besetting all continents, another sign of a climate supersystem beginning to collapse. These have lead to skyrocketing food prices. Food prices triggered revolutions in early 2011 across North Africa and the Middle East. Food has often been the match of revolutions in the past, and I predict that more will spread beyond the Middle East and North Africa because of this first “tilt” warning, flashing in the supersystem of food sustainability.

The next alarm bell is the birth of the 7 billionth child in 2011. You see the signs of his supersystem collapse in the rise of commodity prices as we now begin to add another American-sized middle class population to the planet every five years. Three hundred million new consumers begin demanding that our overstressed supersystems of food, oil, construction materials and other commodity supersystems supply its exploding demand.

It is not possible. Not the way we think and unconsciously live today. A more enlightened society could sustain a healthy, spacious planet with 50 billion people living well off upon it. Our childish civilization cannot do that. Little children left to their own devices cannot clothe, shelter and feed themselves. We live in that society.

The signs of the beginning of the collapse of childhood’s civilized end are the rising prices in everything. They rise because too many children are selfishly grasping for the resources. Their demand is too large to sustain. Thus you will have a lot of cranky babies out there, revolutions and civil disruptions. The process will be terrible and painful. It will take decades before a newer more mature civilization could emerge out of the chaos of the 2020s. Perhaps it arrives by the 2050s.

It could arrive right now, if people heed these warnings and change destiny’s course.

What is the tie that binds? Is it God, the Universe, the universal consciousness? What is the source? And how do we tap into it? Or maybe we are already tapped in… but we went in search of many schemes.

I would say it is more the “or”, the last part of your question.

Many years ago I wrote a poem that perhaps answers the last part of your question best, at least from my own experience of this question:

Do you remember the game we played long ago,
The game of Gods-Awake who chose to sleep,
We chose to play the Game of Forgetting
—and forgot—
That we were gods playing a game?

Dear enlightened one, play-acting enlightened-once,
There still is a trace of the awaken-time left
In the dark and secret corners of your being.
Do you feel it stirring against the burial mound of mind-knowledge
Suppressing your conscious flight?

It is the Ever-“Yes” awakening in thee.
It is calling you back with pure and voiceless silence,
To remember godliness again.
Sing now a song of yearning for the New Humanity
So that it echoes sweet fulfillment back from the halls of the future.

What are a few things that you predicted that came true?

For starters, I seem to have the ability to pick the victor by popular vote of every presidential election since 1968. That is an 11 and 0 record so far.

Next to that, I have a good track record for predicting the weather for each new year. For instance in Predictions for 2009 I said the Gulf States region would have a quiet Hurricane season except for a modest tropical storm hitting Florida and the Carolinas. These turned out to be the only paces having tropical storm events that year. In Predictions for 2010 I said the US Gulf States would once again enjoy a very quiet Hurricane season at a time when most weather forecasters were predicting a very violent hurricane season spreading the Deep Horizon oil spill. Though there were many hurricanes that season, they boiled and roiled off in the Atlantic Ocean. No hurricanes hit the northern waters of the Gulf or visited the Gulf States except a rainmaker hitting the southern tip of Texas but mostly going into Mexico. Cannot predict a quiet season for 2011, unfortunately.

I documented one of my more notable hurricane predictions in the book 1000 for 2000 Startling Predictions (1998). I later repeated that prediction on Fox News for the Hannity and Colmes show on 31 December 1999. I reiterated that either New Orleans or Miami would be devastated in the first five hurricane seasons of the new century by a super-hurricane. As we know, Hurricane Season number five saw New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

I presaged in 2008 that an African American would become Chairman of the Republican Party in 2009. Then came African American Michael Steel to the post.

At the end of 2007, I predicted the Great Recession for later on in 2008. I also said this on the record on Coast to Coast AM in January of 2008. I also said Obama would be a two term president on that show in early 2009. Got a lot of angry mail for that. A lot of anti-Obama people thought I was nuts. Well…look at the current Republican bullpen of potential candidates for 2012. So far, it does not look too promising that there will be an upset. But we will see.

 [Hogue update, 06 August 2011. A few months ago I predicted Governor Rick Perry would enter the race making the 2012 campaign far more interesting. At the time of this update, he is about to enter the fray. I still content that Barack Obama will have a second term in office though efforts by certain corporate forces are openly contriving to collapse the economy into a Second Recession, which I dated in Predictions for 2011 coming no later than mid-year. Well, here we are, it seems. Forces are out there. The same forces which in Predictions for 2011 I called “Politicorp” – a new corporate aristocracy/plutocracy – are unleashing since 2012 a creeping coup d’état on the American democracy, often in the name of constitutional reform. But that noble idea is not their intent. Nor is it the scaling down of government spending. Their intent is to hobble the constitution and the democratic government of America, push back protections on food, water and environment by 50 years, to make unlimited and unrestrained profits. They will try to pin this next recession on Obama. If the president can be perceived in the presidential campaign of 2012 to be the only “adult” in the running – not to say that this is true, mind you – this perception at least will see him win in a very close and disputed election. He may face a divided Congress, divided between the Tea Party and Republican Parties, with Democrats a distant third in both houses. The man who “could” beat Obama will not run in 2012 because he has the wrong name, Jeb “Bush”, the former governor of Florida. Now we return to what I wrote back in February-March 2011:]

For me some of the more unsettling fulfilled predictions revolve around things that just drop into my awareness out of the blue and go against my own mind, such as predicting the rise of lone wolf terrorists in 2009, followed by lone wolf domestic terrorist attacks in 2010. Getting the unemployment numbers right for the Great Recession was chilling to me. One of the most inexplicable and detailed prophetic hits happened in 2009. That was months before the strategy meetings happened between Obama and the Pentagon over Afghanistan. The oracle grasped exactly what transpired in the future; namely, that Obama would give the Pentagon a troop surge of 40,000 soldiers (10,000 of which were NATO allies) but hold them to an 18-month deadline to turn the tide or he would begin combat troop withdrawals by the summer of 2011.

How serious is the potential collapse of Bee populations?

The Bee Plague was a bee’s version of the pandemic of the Black Death of the high Middle Ages. In the bees’ case it was caused by crowding of industrial hives to produce more honey. Right now the Bee plague is going dormant, but like the bubonic plague on humans, it will return and subside return and subside. After the Black Death in the 1300s more localized and regional Black Death appeared and retreated throughout Europe and the rest of the world up to the 1700s. One might hope that the bee plague will do no worse, but I would add that the honeybee has become the new canary in the mind shaft, as it were of climate stress on animals and humans. The times of great pandemics are coming again. If not in this decade (watch for 2013-2014 as one important window) then definitely in the 2020s and 2030s.

A North Korean collapse is more likely rather than a war. No attack on Iran, even though so many people expect it. The economic crisis stemming form oil prices shooting up beyond $100 was what I said back in 2009 for predictions for 2010, would be the trigger of the next economic crisis. The window for danger opened in October 2010. I said in 2010 that March and April of 2011 would be the most dangerous months of this. Now we have oil rising over $100 and perhaps set to match its all time high of $148 or more because of food and fuel price upheavals and panics in the market around March and April. But the danger is not over if we pass into May through July, because the impact of grain lost to the global markets by Russia’s lingering lack of exports, Australia’s grain mostly good only for livestock because of cyclones. There is also America’s winter wheat crop suffering a lower yield than promised in exports because of a series of violent blizzards early in the year. These will rapidly, as predicted, shift suddenly into violent tornado infested storms of spring across the grain belts of America. Also, there is the 2011 hurricane season which will be at least if not more devastatingly violent than the 2005 season best known for Hurricane Katrina. Oil price climbs may also be threatened if Houston refineries are in the storm line of a great hurricane this year.

The peak rise of oil eventually reached the $120s level and even though it stabilized, many accurate market forecasters of Recessions, such as Bert Dohman, President of the Dohman Capital Research Institute, point to the beginning of the Second Recession in May. July ended with worldwide alarm at US leadership with the travesty of their debt ceiling debate. August began with the worst Dow Jones Industrial drop of points since the 2008 recession. S&P just lowered US credit rates by a star and may lower it further. At the time of this writing, Monday (8 August 2011) approaches. Stock markets will continue their recessionary fall for the oncoming week. Some of the worst sectors hit have been in the food and agriculture industries thanks to crop failures from the spring and summer floods. Blizzards did shift quickly to lingering triple-digit heat waves throughout the spring and summer causing widespread livestock and crop die offs in Texas and the central plain states. When I wrote the above, the tornado season was unusually quiet. It later exploded in April, May and June with historic devastation in St. Louis International Airport, super cell tornado outbreaks across the US south, flattening cities and towns of Alabama in particular. Even Massachusetts was hard hit by tornadoes, then Joplin Missouri – flattened. So far, the Gulf of Mexico regions and the Atlantic seaboard states have been spared a repeat of the Katrina-2005 hurricane season. The most active part of the season is ahead of us. Hopefully I will be wrong about it being violent storms for Houston and the Gulf, but Haiti is in the hurricane season’s cross-hairs, sorry to say. Now back to what I wrote in early March:]

Prophecy likes to date events but free will does speed up or delay events. It is possible that these surprises can be delayed into 2012 or 2013 but at this time of writing (8 March 2011), the trends appear to be on course.

There are also pleasant surprises that might blind-side us this year or next. I spent a whole chapter in Predictions for 2011 on a five year process Israel’s leadership might take that could see Iran isolated and the Palestinian State established. That future IS available for Israel if its leadership uses the rise of democratic desires across the Arab world to make peace with its Arab neighbors and thereby leave Iran as the sole remaining threat to the Arab world. An Israeli-Iranian war may happen as a result with the US allied in the fighting with Israel, but there is time for moderate voices in Iran to prevail. I foresee the war danger not coming until the present times enter the year 2015 and 2016.

There are many more details about the economy, the future of the US military presence in the Middle East, where it is shifting next, the oncoming “Cold Depression” which is like a Cold War in economic terms, etc., that people can read more about by clicking on predictions.

I wrote the above eight months ago at the beginning of the bloody decline and fall of Libyan strongman, Muhammar Gaddafi’s regime. Yesterday (20 October 2011), Libyan NTC (National Transitional Council) fighters rooted Gaddafi out of a drainage pipe after his convoy of 11 trucks tried to make a run for it out of his tribal home city of Sirte, Libya, after his last stand had collapsed.

Libyan "technicals" are trucks suped up with mounted heavy machine guns. The term "techical" came from the Mad Max trucks of Somali militia.

After dawn prayers, Gaddafi with about 100 die-hard followers and black African mercenaries, raced down the coastal road west to Misruata in beat up trucks and SUVs bristling with heavy armament. This rag-tag rout in camouflage and green bandanas must have looked like extras in a post apocalyptic NASCAR drag race in a scene from Mel Gibson’s Mad Max movies.

They didn’t get too far “beyond Thunderdome”, as it were – the bombed out “barter town” of Sirte laid waste and desolate by two weeks of unremitting bombardment and street battles with Libyan NTC rebels. This surreal, true life Mad Max movie met up with “Top Gun” about 1.5 kilometers outside of Sirte. Not in the cross hairs of a real-life ace Tom Cruise in a US Navy fighter-bomber. He was a French Mirage NATO pilot with a US Drone for company. Both plastered Gaddafi’s convoy with missiles. The remains of 11 melted, toffee-twisted auto wrecks and the fritter-mummified bodies of 50 of Gaddafi’s entourage attest to the violence of the French and US hell-fire missile pounding. One of the unidentified bodies might yet be that of Gaddafi’s eldest son and heir apparent, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

The eyewitness reports get a bit confused beyond the fact that Gaddafi and up to half of his guards piled out of the trucks just before they sprouted fireballs and headed for a copse of trees and two storm pipes to make their last stand. Rapidly on their heals where NTC fighters disembarking from a motor column of Mad Max-like armed “technical” trucks, no less post-apocalyptic looking than what had been rolling along and now melting on the tarmac that was Gaddafi’s column moments before.

We are told a firefight ensued, lasting several hours with losses heavy on both sides. Gaddafi’s guards began surrendering and it is said the strongman emerged from the drainage pipe asking what the NTC fighters wanted (guess!) before they started roughing him up, ripping handfuls of toupee off his head.

These NTC fighters are the only witnesses of what happened next. Gaddafi’s surviving soldiers were led away from the road to an uncertain future lined up against a wall, I expect. One al-Jazeera video clip displays a black African Gaddafi soldier, bare chested, lashed to a double-A anti-aircraft machine gun welded to a truck bed speeding through Sirte. To where? Only Mad Max knows.

The story gets scrambled. Did Gaddafi emerge from the sewer drain unscathed after the firefight? Was he wounded in the shoulder and clipped by a bullet on the left side of his head while he was crouched like a sewer rat in there? Cell phone movies of him bathed in his own gore with blood coming out of his ears and mouth may indicate concussion wounds from the explosion of NATO French missile fire. Perhaps the wielder of the cell phone video was too busy joining his mates kicking the crap out of Gaddafi before a videography of his bloody mask of a face had been recorded. What is clear in the chaotic cell phone movies is that Gaddafi was alive when he was dragged to a truck – then “fell off the truck” – then dragged again to a waiting ambulance ready to rush him under guard of a cavalcade of other road warrior trucks honking their horns in celebration to Misurata for medical treatment. According to Prime Minister Jibril of the provisional Libyan government in the capital of Tripoli, Gaddafi “died” en route from a bullet shot through the head in the crossfire of a firefight with pro-Gaddafi insurgents and NTC technicals.

Cell phone video shows the aftermath. The dead dictator, the gore washed from his face this time, is dumped on the dirty road with a bullet hole in his forehead just above his left eye. Framed in another cell phone camera, we see of the corpse “cleaned up.” We see the fatal gunshot wound. The ambulance drivers apparently could not touch up the gunpowder burn on the skin indicating death by “cross fire” at close range of a gun muzzle pointed “against” the forehead by a 9 millimeter pistol. This is the same caliber of a gold plated pistol taken from Gaddafi when he was captured.

At the time of this writing Gaddafi’s corpse is on display in a refrigerator cargo trailer in Misurata for anyone to visit. The provisional Libyan government acquiesced to NATO and UN requests for an independent post mortem of Gaddafi to prove he was killed in cross fire rather than by a gun totting mob of scarcely trained NTC rebel soldiers. All pretense of civility aside, it is pretty clear that Gaddafi met a very blood-soaked end “Romanian-style”, just as my oracle had foreseen 8 months ago in the passage above – summarily executed by his captors, perhaps with his own pistol at close range.

History has a weird way of repeating itself. In 1989, the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu a close ally to Gaddafi in better days, also was caught fleeing his enraged and armed people. When his Communist regime fell a similar orgy of massacres and bloody street fighting ensued. He and his right hand “man” (Elena his brutish wife) tried to escape but were caught by police and delivered to Romanian soldiers who after the briefest of trials, lined them both against a wall and executed them. Like Gaddafi, their bullet-riddled bodies were filmed for posterity.

I enlarged upon explaining my Ceausescu-style execution prediction made in February the following month when NATO enacted its no-fly zone over Libya effectively taking sides in the civil war against Gaddafi’s forces, which were on the approaches of the rebel stronghold of Benghazi – the outcome at the time was uncertain:

The fall in late 1989 of the East German Communist regime Erich Honeker regime in East Berlin caused a regional chain reaction across Eastern Europe with communist dictatorships falling mostly with a whimper except one: the eccentric strongman Nicolae Ceausescu of Romania, every inch as daffy a dictator as Gaddafi. Relinquish power? Only over his dead body, like Gaddafi threatens today.

I predict Gaddafi and his son and successor Saif al-Islam (Sword of Islam) will die like Ceausescu, but unlike the Romanian bloodbath, it may not end the relatively brief fighting in the streets. Conflict could be protracted. Gaddafi may be dead soon but the fighting will not end with his life like Ceaucescu. It may only be the beginning of fighting between Libyans unless the same allies setting up a no-fly zone step in for a generation’s time to help them build a modern democratic nation.

Fictional "technicals" of Mad Max movies.

The real work starts now. And this most tribal of Arab nations must find common ground and soon, otherwise the Libyan Revolution of 2011 with become a Balkan-style, Bosnian-Herzegovinian Libyan Civil War of 2012-2013 I also foresaw pitting tribal interests and grudges against achieving national unity. In this worst-case scenario, Libya becomes the Somalia of North Africa, a failed state in ruins, a haven for Islamic jihadist terrorist bases better able to strike the soft underbelly of bankrupt Mediterranean European nations as seems to be implied in the prophecies of Nostradamus.

Let us review a few prophecies of Nostradamus related to Gaddafi, the details of his death and a possible aftermath. Five months and ten days ago I recorded the following comment about the “death by dart” theme of quatrain (2 Q70) alluding to the Adaluncatif (Gaddafi Luna) quatrain (10 Q96) published in Nostradamus’ Les Propheties, way back in the years 1555 and 1558 respectively. At the time I wrote this below, the NATO no fly zone had just been initiated:

The air hunt for Gaddafi is on. This leads me to wonder if at this moment a prophecy penned four-and-a-half centuries ago by the French seer Nostradamus may be weeks, days or moments from fulfillment. Nostradamus’ prophecies most often see the future through the actions of his future countrymen and women of France, so the following prophecy has a very good chance for being applied to a target of future French air forces allied to a coalition of other European, US and Arab League air forces converging over Libya.

Nearly two months later, the al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden had been killed by US Navy Seals in Pakistan on 1 May. Thus, I wrote eight days later:

[Gaddafi] is to die soon from a “dart” or “missile” not long after the death of bin Laden, it would seem, if one were to take a refreshed post-Usama-mortem review of the famous anagram prophecy Adaluncatif

Five months and 20 days later, Gaddafi is killed. Osama buried at sea linked to that act connecting his fate with Gaddafi because of the strange riddle that opens a prophecy naming Gaddafi in an anagram:

Secte obstinee deploree craindra,
Des deux blessez par Aleph & Aleph.

Let us translate it line by line:

The Religion named after the ocean will overcome…

Actions of others can stand as a date. Around the same time Gaddafi’s compound was bombed by US F-111 fighter-bombers in retaliation for a Berlin disco bombing, Indian mystic Osho was on a world tour that famously had him thrown out of 21 countries because of CIA pressure brought about by the Reagan Administration. Osho means “oceanic.” While he was on his world tour, a CIA jet shadowed him at every stop. Osho and his entourage where forced by the local government to leave soon after. It did not matter if passports and visas were in order. Such was the case in March 1986 when Osho nearly found a haven in Uruguay after being hustled out of Greece. In May, when the process of getting a visa to permanently stay was nearly complete, in came the CIA plane and he had to leave. The next day, President Reagan extended the deadline of debt payments of loans sent to Uruguay and generously added more US aid. A month before, other US jets sent a missile into Gaddafi’s personal quarters. The shattered bedroom had a wall-sized photo-mural of the Libyan coastline and ocean. Does this connect Osho (oceanic) and the Gaddafi “oceanic”? Perhaps.

“KS”, one of my readers, today offers a thoughtful possibility that I will refine. Those of the ocean are the North “Atlantic” Treaty Organization, i.e. NATO. This organization took down Gaddafi by bombing his offensive assets, giving the rebels a chance to succeed.

Now to line 2:

…Against the sect of the son Adaluncatif…

Back in 1986, I proposed for the first time in Nostradamian study that Adaluncatif is an anagram for Gaddafi Luna or Gaddafi of the Crescent, Islam. Here is how that is possible:

Take out “Luna” for “moon”. That leaves you “adcatif”. Phonetic replacements allow the “c” to be the “cah” sound for “cadafi” (Khaddafi or Gaddafi). The “t” is the one letter dropped, as per the anagram rules. I would add that before Gaddafi changed the Libyan flag to a green field, it had the crescent of Islam in white in the original tri-color that the current insurgency has resurrected. Now to line 3 and 4:

…The obstinate, deplored [Gaddafi] sect will be afraid,
Of the two wounded Aleph (A) and Aleph (A).

A and A is a possible riddle for Gaddafi the father and his son and heir, Saif (a)l-Islam (a)l-Gaddafi, being mortally wounded. The source of this wound is described in 2 Q70 as a “dart”, i.e. a 16th-century attempt to describe the falling, pointed warhead of a missile fired perhaps on 20 October 2011 by a French Mirage jet on Gaddafi’s truck column. Nostradamus describes a “machine of flying fire” in 6 Q34 that lets lose the “dart” described in 2 Q70.

Du feu volant la machination,
Viendra troubler au grand chef assiegez:
Dedans sera telle sedition,
Qu’en desespoir seront les profligez.

From the machine of flying fire,
It will come to trouble the besieged chief:
Within there will be such sedition,
That the dissolute ones will be in despair.

Line 1 could describe the French Mirage jet or the US Drone used in the bomb strike on Gaddafi’s column. Line 2 describes Gaddafi’s desperate situation. He is the “besieged chief” in Sirte trying to make a breakout. Lines 3 and 4 could describe the disarray and rout of Gaddafi’s surviving soldiers and the last true believers of his dissolute, evil. They are driven by desperation out of his tribal home to a fiery and bloody end on the road to Misurata.

Now the “dart” (missile) prophecy of 2 Q70:

Le dard du ciel fera son estendue,
Mors en parlant: grande execution:
La pierre en l’arbre la fiere gent rendue,
Bruit humain monstre purge expiation.

The dart from the sky will make its extension,
Deaths in speaking: Great execution:
The stone in the tree [arbor], the proud people surrendered,
Clamor, human monster, purge, expiation.

Line 1: If I were a 16th-century man trying to describe an elongated and finned hell-fire missile or any finned bomb ordinance detaching from the wing of a French jet I might call it a “dart.” This missile or aerial bomb makes its full extension from launch to blast impact among the gathered trucks of Gaddafi’s men. Since Nostradamus heard as well as saw his future visions, line 2 might imply the drivers and men piled in the truck were cut down by supersonic missiles in mid-speech coming from on high from a source they could not see or hear because of the altitude and speed of extending death approaching. What happened reminds me of something I wrote in June about his foretold death coming from a French source:

Nostradamus best sees the future through his French eyes, his French conditioning and how it directly affects future French people.

The French under President Nicolas Sarkozy have been the most bellicose of the NATO allies in prosecuting an air war against Gaddafi’s military assets. From the start, French air forces have openly targeted Libyan command and control targets as ruthlessly as they can in the hopes of killing the assumptive heir and the dictator of Libya. I predict it will be revealed in the future that Sarkozy’s French military policy in Libya is decapitation of the Gaddafi regime. He intends — and he will succeed — in launching a dart or “missile” from the sky that will cause the great execution of Gaddafi in mid speech (deaths in speaking). He will start a sentence he will not complete as a French missile takes him out.

It may be an interesting coincidence only. The quatrain’s indexing (70) is a near miss for the year 1969 when Gaddafi overthrew King Idris of Libya.

This future was a near miss by French missile strikes. Gaddafi survived though blast effects could have injured him. Review again lines 3 and 4 of the above quatrain:

The stone in the tree [arbor], the proud people surrendered,
Clamor, human monster, purge, expiation.

Remember, Gaddafi and the surviving men ran under the cover of trees to hide inside two cement drainage pipes. Thus line 3’s riddle implies the stone (cement) and the tree (the tree cover). After a fire fight Gaddafi’s bodyguards surrendered. Gaddafi is described in one report emerging from the drain pipe standing proudly with head held upright demanding who the attackers where and what did they want with him (the proud people surrendered).

Line 4 may forecast in Nostradamus’ mind the images and shouting of “God is Great!” in Arabic, yet unborn for centuries to come when it would be recorded by cell phones. He may have seen centuries ago what we saw just recently, the clamor of the crowd of excited young rebel fighters pulling and punching at Gaddafi. The human monster is the gore soaked and wounded dictator looking like a bloody demon in Nostradamus’ vision. The purge of his followers shot down by missiles and gunfire. The expiation is Gaddafi in his final moments violently paying for the crimes of his 42-year terror of his people with his life.

I would like to hope that the final words of this prophecy lead after a difficult process of catharsis, purging and atonement to a national restitution of the wrong done to the Libyan people that will soon after bring a period of peace and unity to the country.

One way or the other I predict it will happen. It will happen either now through a democratic process, or after 2013 when a tribal civil war coming in the aftermath of Gaddafi’s death burns itself out.

I wonder though if this new riddle from Nostradamus may warn what is coming next in Libya and the Arab revolutions because it may be naming the provisional Prime Minister of Libya here in a quatrain indexed 1 Q56 in Nostradamus’ prophecies:

Vous verrez tost & tard faire grand change,
Horreurs extremes & vindications:
Que si la lune conduicte par son ange,
Le Ciel s’approche des inclinations.

You will see, sooner and later, great changes made,
Extreme horrors and vengeances:
For as the moon (of Islam) is thus led by its angel,
The heavens draw near to the reckoning.

The crescent Moon is the sign of Islam. The new Libyan flag has a white crescent in the middle black stripe of its red, black and green tricolor design. The Angel Gabriel is said to have appeared to Muhammad who helped him found Islam. The name of Gabriel in Arabic is Jibril. The Prime Minister of the provisional government of Libya is named “Jibril.”

There is a lot of sensational rumor leaking out of the FBI like a broken inkwell for thumbprints, black and obscure, very messy! Apparently an Iranian-US citizen acted as go-between on visits to Teheran with operatives of the al-Quds Revolutionary Guards to pay for and hire Mexican cartel hit men to cross the US border and assassinate the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. They would throw a bomb into his lunch plate at a crowded local restaurant in Washington DC then hurl bombs at the Israeli Embassy. The blood money pledged was ridiculously low for any Mexican cartel to reap the whirlwind of US retaliation, a mere 1.4 million bucks. That will get you  a sack of cocaine.

I have watched Iran since my Boeing 747 Air India flight made a memorable midnight run over the Persian Gulf during the first week of the Iran-Iraq War in September 1980 while I was on my way to meet Osho in India for the first time.

The details coming out of FBI agent’s mouths – and flummoxing Senators debriefed on 13 October by such – are as clouded as Octopus ink and it is just as fishy. The whole story stinks to me.

It stinks of right-wing elements in the US and Israeli governments waving a false flag. These elements would still like to see plan B of their strategic goals achieved even in an Obama first or second term. This newly “discovered” Iran terror plot sounds like a semi-fictional incident (like WMDs in Iraq). It is intended to distract people away from a growing Occupy Wall Street national now “international” movement and perhaps distract people’s attention in Israel away from the steady progress of the Palestinian Authority towards some form of sovereign status in the United Nations by “trick or treat” time – Halloween.

It seems like a good time for government back door propaganda to stifle dissent in America and Israel with an ultimate and nationally uniting action. Let us make up a war with Iran and in the venture take down its Islamic Fundamentalist Theocracy. This whole terror plot smells of shadow elements in the Israeli and American governments that would like to accomplish the destruction of the Iranian regime.

That aim has been the Zionist/Neo-Conservative agenda fomented by the former Vice President Dick Cheney as far back as 1992 when Cheney as editor and a future G.W. Bush deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, authored the Neo-Con movement’s first of many evolving manifestos published after the fall of the Soviet Union. These sought to convince Americans of a new enemy to sustain the military industrial complex of the US superpower after the end of the Cold War. After the Soviet colossus fell Iraq and Iran, modestly if fairly fit the bill. They both were radically governed nations bestride some of the largest oil reserves in the world that sustained the United States “and” Western civilization with crude oil. These rogue regimes, perhaps rightfully, had to go, either by economic pressure or through unilateral invasion if global consensus was not forthcoming.

The Neo-Conservatives moved from theory to power in 2001 with G.W. Bush’s administration initially crowding their number in top cabinet posts.

Bill Kristol is the current editor of the Weekly Standard and a number of Neo-Con papers including one published in September 2000 just before the Bush-Gore presidential debates musing about the need for a “Peal Harbor” event to advance Neo-Conservative agendas. Kristol, who like many Neo-Cons enjoys dual citizenship as an American and Israeli citizen, and who also think tanks for Israeli foreign policy, has called for open war with Iran saying about this recently exposed terror plot, “We have an engraved invitation.” Since 1998, Kristol lobbied for war with Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq and said a fortnight after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that “even if evidence does not link Iraq directly to the attack, any strategy aiming at the eradication of terrorism and its sponsors must include a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from power." Kristol advocated this stance in 2002 through early 2003 as a board member to the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq that lobbied hard to successfully convince Congress to vote G.W. Bush war powers to invade Iraq.

In 2000, a Neo-Con manifesto openly pondered the need for a “Pearl Harbor event” to hasten their goals. Surprise, surprise! They got one on 11 September 2001 with al-Qaeda’s aid. Now they had their national emergency and Congress grasped by its left or right leaning “balls.” The Neo-cons could make their puppet president do or say whatever they wanted because the hysteria of national unity stifled rational critics. By false flag WMD scares, they succeeded in 2003 taking down Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime. Iran was next.

US Plans for war studied and rehearsed from 2004 through 2006 were so brazen that I felt it was time to collect Nostradamus’ many references to a war in our future between Israel and America versus Iran because it seemed imminent. The first of two astrological windows for war were open during 2007. If the first closed, the next window would open in the near future in not far off 2015-2016.

In 2006, I began composing an e-book that matched up Nostradamus prophecies with the lightly veiled apocalyptic motives of leaders in the three potential combatant states. First in America’s highest office you have evangelical Christian war hawks in the Neo-Conservative cabinet of a president who famously said that “God” told him to invade Iraq and Iran was next. You had similar latter-day aspirations murmured by the Israeli cabinet and prime minister – some openly musing that war with Iran would be a portent for the Jewish Messiah soon to come. You had Iranian President Ahmadinejad loudly and notoriously proclaim his apocalyptic aspirations for Israel being “wiped off the map of history.” Even now the Iranian president opens every public speech, even before the United Nations, with a prayer for the return of the Mahdi. He is the 12th Imam, the final prophet who will reappear from his occultation to bring on an Islamic Armageddon that will take back al-Quds (the Iranian name for Jerusalem) and make the surviving Jews true believers of Islam.

The mainstream news as ever, overlooked the subconscious motivations beneath this three-way saber rattling for Armageddon. In early 2007, I deemed it was time to publish my findings about them and perhaps go on media outlets around the world exposing these prophetic motivations examining possible war scenarios of the 16^th century French prophet leading up to those purportedly recorded in the Hadith by Islam’s final prophet himself, Muhammad.

In that book Nostradamus: The War with Iran, I gathered a number of Nostradamus prophecies that pointed to a future military showdown with Persia (modern day Iran) by Western forces. These verses using contemporary names from the 16th century even mentioned the Persian Gulf and its narrow opening, the Strait of Hormuz, as the site of a future naval and air battles where a fleet will be “melted and sunk” by those of the “trident.”

As usual, there are layers to the riddles of Nostradamus’ wordplay. The seemingly obvious solution modern people might apply is a US “trident” class submarine that melts and sinks an Iranian surface fleet that consists of an armada of thousands of small boats — none of which are larger in tonnage than corvettes armed with a brace of Chinese silk missiles. Certainly the overwhelming force of Trident submarines or the hail of fiery death descending from missiles fired by US Navy carrier jets, cruisers, frigates and destroyers would be enough to “melt” and sink any suicidal attack by a flotilla of PT 109-pint sized Kamikaze craft piloted by Iranian Shahid (martyrs).

Indeed, Nostradamus may have named the US fleet obscured in another interesting word riddle. They are called “the True Serpent.” If you look down 4.5 centuries of Nostradamus’ future history of the world that has become our past, you will often find his riddles and descriptions using nicknames or flags flown by armies and or fleets of water and even air. For instance, we have “those of the Sun” in Century 5 Quatrain 11 of Nostradamus’ history of the future Les Propheties:

Mer par solaires seure ne passera,
Ceux de Venus tiendront toute l’Affrique:
Lure regne plus Sol, Saturne n’occupera,
Et changera la part Asiatique.

Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety,
Those of Venus will hold all of Africa:
Their realm will no longer be occupied by Sun (and) Saturn,
And the Asiatic part will change.

Reference to those of the Sun standing alone is open to many possibilities, but the reference to Venus (a code name for “Venice”) is often used by Nostradamus to describe fascist Italy during the Second World War. Though Italy had possession of Libya, Somalia and Ethiopia at the start of the war, they did not achieve control of Africa, unless this is one of Nostradamus’ alternative futures only partially fulfilled. Saturn’s color is as black as Italian Black Shirts and German Gestapo SS troops, symbols of Axis fascism

The Battle of Midway, by R.G. Smith. Three Japanese fleet carriers take direct and fatal hits from US Navy Dauntless dive bombers, turning the tide of the war on the Pacific Ocean in June 1942. "Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety," wrote Nostradamus 386 years earlier. Perhaps his vision foresaw the great red suns painted on the carrier decks?

Those of the “Sun” describe the third Axis ally: the Imperial Japanese fleet, visualized in Nostradamus’ nightly reveries in trance as dark gray warships flying the rising sun flag. The US Navy and the Army Air Forces would nearly sink the entire Japanese fleet in the Second World War. The fall of the Japanese empire forever changed Asia, ending its colonial hold and that of Western empires in a series of popular anti-colonial rebellions in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and also witness the rise of a sleeping giant, the People’s Republic of China.

The true serpent fighting the Persians in our future may be another reference to a naval flag. In my book about Nostradamus’ predictions for Iran, I said the following:

Every ship in this vast US armada flies the US flag and a US Navy Jack. Note that it is a flag with thirteen red and white stripes over which an American Rattlesnake crawls under the motto “Don’t Tread on Me!” It is only in recent times that all ships of the American Navy hoist this flag. On May 22, 2002, the U.S. Navy ordered all ships to display the First Navy Jack as long as the War on Terrorism continued. Ceremonies to raise the flag of the “true” serpent took place on every US Naval ship on 11 September 2002, the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the “Pearl Harbor” event that launched the world war of terrorism.

On some near future date, or perhaps as late as 2015, the “true serpent” will “invade” the waters of the Persian Gulf.

So, with that said, is war with Iran about to break out earlier than the astrological window of 2015-2016?

My answer is emphatic.

It is no.

Gaming out this news of an Iranian terror plot this week is a propagandized step towards such a war happening when the astrological aspects I described in detail in the book open the potential for conflict once again about four to five years hence. Indeed the Navy Jack takes on new symbolic significance.

The true serpent flag is also the symbol of the American Tea Party. Perhaps in 2016 there will be elected a president of the United States who is a member of that “true serpentine party”? How ironic it would be if the party that often promotes America pulling out of wars in the Middle East actually got their man or woman into the White House who then led America into its third and most disastrous war.

Another scenario would have President Obama in his second term, co-opted by a Tea Party controlled Congress who pushes him into signing on to Neo-Conservative aspirations for a war after years of negotiation with Iran went nowhere. It is a fact that Obama at present has chosen diplomacy first in his efforts to take Iran out of the nuclear arms race with Israel. However, he has left the apocalyptic door open that G.W. Bush and his Neo-Con handler, Dick Cheney, had closed in their faces by events at the end of Bush’s second term.

Occupy Wall Street Goes Global
This is not a movement of hippies, corporate media hacks and it is far bigger and more mainstream already than the Tea Party ever was. Occupy Wall Street keeps gaining momentum across the United States with polls showing 75 percent of Americans sympathetic or in full support of the movement. This weekend it spreads to “Occupy” movements across the world in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Three thousand gathered before the London stock exchange, and six thousand plan to camp, Ziccotti Park NY style, before the European Central Bank headquarter in Frankfurt. Demonstrations where held in 50 other German cities including 6,000 demonstrators in Berlin and 1,500 in Cologne. Thousands also gathered before banks and stock exchanges in Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong China and Tokyo Japan.

The demonstrations in the US are at last showing results politically with Secretary of Treasury and Secretary of State, Tim Geithner and Hillary Clinton sending clear signals Friday that more bank reforms are coming and must come.

On an ominous note, peaceful protests on Friday and today were eclipsed in Rome with widespread violence. The blazing cars, shattered shop, and bank glass windows of Roman streets can be the future of this movement around the world next year in 2012, because Italy is far closer to economic default. Politicians are running out of time if they do not legislate banking reforms before this peaceful global movement must get their attention by rioting.

Are Atlantic Tsunamis coming Next?

Tsunamis come in protest movements. Will they be coming as waves flooding the North Atlantic coastlines of Brazil, America and Europe? The windswept El Hierro Island in the Canary Island chain for months now has endured a significant earthquake swarm symptomatic of an imminent volcanic eruption. Unconfirmed reports of volcanic material floating off El Hierro’s coast might indicate a submarine eruption has begun.

In prehistoric times a large piece of El Hierro sloughed off into the Atlantic no doubt causing a catastrophic tsunami. The satellite photos showing a green subsea plume of a purported fissure in the island’s undersea shelf on the south side may presage an underwater landslide that might cause a tsunami, though I doubt it would generate any to match the previous monster wave that raged off its northern shore in prehistoric times.

This situation deserves watching, but some websites are practicing prophetic hyperbole by inaccurately comparing El Hierro to its larger volcanic island neighbor Las Palmas as the same, even in photos used. For now, Las Palmas is inactive, so those of you who think a 130-to-160-foot wave will crash into the US eastern seaboard eight hours after an imminent landslide are mixing your mega disaster metaphors and islands. Moreover, most of El Hierro’s tsunami energy would go south to the West African coast all the way to Antarctica, not west, if we were talking about Las Palmas.

I consulted my oracle about El Hierro. In the worst case scenario a tsunami might arise as devastating to other Canary Islands as that which flooded Japan in March of 2011. The main visitations with sporadic harbor and coastal damage like what was experienced in the Hawaiian Islands and Santa Cruz California from the Japanese tsunami would range along the sparsely populated Western Sahara southwards to the Mauritanian coast down to the city of Dakar, in Senegal.

My oracle at this point does not see a major tsunami coming out of a future eruption of El Hierro. It is much more concerned with El Hierro’s volcanism triggering a Las Palmas eruption causing half the geologically unstable, western coastal mountainside of the island to suddenly slip into the Atlantic. Such an event would be a civilization-changing catastrophe sending a tsunami up to 160 feet high roaring 4.5 miles inland over the coasts of Brazil, French Guyana, Surname, Guyana, east Venezuela, the Caribbean islands of the Lesser Antilles, and the US Atlantic seaboard!

Europe would also be hit by significant tsunamis between 16 and 23 feet high, nearly as destructive as those inundating the Honshu coastal towns and Sendai airport, would visit Ireland, Iceland, England, France and Spain. The Canary Islands and the nearby mainland coastline of southwestern Morocco and the neighboring nation of Western Sahara might witness a tsunami flood 300 feet high!

I have been anticipating a popular street rebellion for years now. A potential “Tea Party” initially issuing out of the politically Left wing and labor-oriented side of America’s hollowing out Middle Classes, the new poor. Among them are college graduates who can’t find a job, the overworked and underemployed. The chronically unemployed whose jobs went overseas, the elderly whom the hardhearted will cut their care. They are blue-collar laborers deemed second class Americans because they build the colleges rather than attend college. They are the first of many from the 45 million uninsured working poor soon to join the crowds gathering in the streets before Wall Street.

Now for something more radical than Left and Right wing extremism. This initially rag-tag collection of people of differing generational and political backgrounds do seek a common ground. They are radical enough to share something rather than be a part of the spoiled and whining-child political polarization that is in fad these days. The demonstrators, be they Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or independent voters share being the “99 Percent” who are not part of Wall Street, the banking system or billionaires who Bush, then Obama with few if any strings to reform attached, has bailed out for economic sub-prime speculation crimes. They are not the “Bangsters” who then took these trillion-dollar Bush-TARP and then Obamabailouts from the taxpayers’ pockets and used the funds to lobby and crush further reform.

The 99-ers are are losing their middle class status by the millions of households annually since the Great Recession began in 2008 and returns at the end of 2011. They lose by creeping legislation their health benefits the majority of our US Senators will not lose. They’ll still have their pensions, their health care. Many a US Senator is a millionaire, just like President Obama and Bush before him. They can spare a crocodile tear and muse in comfort inside their swank townhouses and White House in Washington DC, tossing a few cheap words about feeling empathy for the rest of us. In truth, they neither need nor protect your labor laws, your clean air and water laws — many of which are set to quietly run out and vanish by the end of 2012. They hope you’re not watching them do it. The corporate media distracts your attention from them doing it. You the people give the corporate media permission to use your airwaves. You can threaten to pull the plug on them if in the name of journalism they overlook the steady usurpation of your rights and freedoms.

Your legislators in the pocket of the 1-percent powerful give allegiance to a handful of moneyed lobbyists and not the struggling millions of true citizens. They aid a new American who is not a real person. There is a new species of “citizen” given birth by a ruling of the Supreme Court in 2010. There are new “Americans” otherwise known as mulit-billion-dollar “corporations.”

The American Declaration of Independence may have famously declared that “all men are created equal” but I think multi-national corporations masquerading as single American citizens are a little more “equal” than you or I, thanks to the Supreme Court’s billionaire-bullshit made into law. Since then, their 1 percent is far more equal than all the 99 percent of Americans put together. You even pay more taxes than the 1-percent wealthy. They pay hardly any taxes and have become insanely rich as the rest of the country descends insanely into poverty.

Watch well, you aristocratic gentry of the 21st century. History has a bad habit of repeating itself. The costumes and social façades may change, but the essence of history does not. Think Russia, you wealthy folk. Think of what happens when one percent holds two thirds of the wealth of a nation, demanding the rest suffer further impoverishing sacrifices that the boyars of billions of hoarded bucks do not, a lion’s, share.

Don’t Francis Fukuyama-up again by listening to idiot Neo-Con philosophers that promote an End of History when in truth history is perpetual. The look of things may change but the communism that fell in the early 1990s, the fascism that fell in 1945 can return once again when economic crises spread to become political crises like they did in Czarist Russia, leading to the Bolshevik Revolution and also when the wimpy Weimar Republic collapsed and became Hitler’s Third Reich.

While billionaires revel in their offices thirty stories above the angry streets below, they may not hear the same murmur, or see the gathering masses in protest with any more foresight than the last Russian Czar and his oligarchs less than a decade before the Russian Revolution. Nicholas I, sitting complacently behind the walls of his Winter Palace; the 1 percent ruling gentry, on their faraway estates – getting richer, getting fatter, chose to be unmindful if not in complete denial of the growing masses in St. Petersburg and Moscow protesting the lack of bread, the lack of jobs, a fair share of the nation’s sacrifices and bounties.

You wealthy in your gated communities and high-rise bank offices, do you think history has ended?

Do you believe you can’t find yourself within less than a decade lined up against a wall and shot in a bloody revolution, especially in a country awash in 300 million guns?

America is at a critical crossroads this autumn of 2011. We are less than a decade away from our own version of a Nazi Brown or Bolshevik Red Revolution, if polarization of the political dialogue deepens whilst leadership strays. I have been gathering and reporting for years collective visions from may seers of diverse disciplines and historic times dating a Second American Revolution coming as soon as the 2020s. Though I personally work towards that revolution being peaceful and refreshing the American Dream, I must admit that my efforts run against a prophetic collective momentum presaging a revolution and or civil conflict far bloodier than any experienced in US history so far.

I foresaw grass root, popular protests coming in predictions documented for the period of 2010 through 2011; moreover I anticipated the people movements coming from the extremes of the left and right wing. The Tea Party on the Right and the initially left leaning “99 Percenters” movement, though the latter, I predict will ignite the middle class mainstream, the invisible majority of independent voters, from now through November 2012. The presidential candidate that can either join the wave or lead it will be elected president.

What follows is my prescient testimony to how we got from the Recession to what I hope is a peaceful rebellion of the 99-Percent movement that may yet forestall a violent revolution in the next decade.

We will begin with a selection of the predictions from the end of 2009, in which I logged what was coming in the next two years as a failure to reform political and economic systems. It accurately foresaw the US rich and elites (including the Congress and the President) not listening to or answering the needs of 99 percent of their economically suffering constituents. Then we move to predictions logged at the end of 2010 that anticipated the people movement that on this very day received the official endorsement of US union support. The demonstrations now spread beyond New York and Washington DC to 30 cities across the US. This is only the beginning of a protest of mass-American discontent with the way sacrifice and wealth isn’t shared.

We start with a passage from late 2009 anticipating how do-nothing politicians wouldn’t risk leading and applying bold solutions to economic problems in 2010-2011.

Fate comes calling. Everyone this year is going to have to pay their pound sterling or dollar’s worth of flesh, be they rich man poor man, CEO, thief. You can’t spend more than you have or inflate values in commodities and currencies that don’t exist. Washington DC, you can’t waste another year like you will squander 2010 blundering about beating your chests before the sensation-centric media. You politicians must venture dangerous, unpopular decisions on a plethora of challenges.

Chapter 4: Real Economy Reform Hits a Wall Street of Banksters

Next, a scathing oracular attack on the elitism of Barack Obama: this immature and inexperienced “Meritocrat” from the Ivy Leagues surrounding himself with economic advisers stuck in the same bubble. The oracle presaged a flunking grade, noting that by the end of 2010 it would be clear Obama sold himself out to elitist fantasies about leading America out of its economic doldrums:

Finance is the handmaiden of Industry and yes, the young and inspiring president [Obama] came into office with a generational pain in the national reserve, an unregulated disaster of the Bush administration leaving Obama holding the last straw that brokered the camel’s bank. Early and decisive finance reform was one in a host of Obama’s messianic campaign promises pushed to the back of the bus.

He soon surrounded himself with a think tank of insider experts, a Secretary of Treasury quarterback and an offensive Wall Street team of blocker banking insiders. None ran a real mainstreet business. These academics never made billions in the “real” economy. No Trumps, no Michael Bloombergs. Just fellow college elites. Abstract and professorial economic specialists. Technocrats like Sec. of Treasury Tim Geithner…

I mean Geithner smells of insider trading in his job at NYC Fed for chief finance minister of the land. He crashed Lehman Bothers then bailed out other bigger failures. He overlooked paying $50,000 of his own taxes even. How is he punished? With a “bonus”—running Obama’s US Treasury Department.

Rewarding failure smells like the team spirit of elitism. The new president is comfortable with wonky elites by the grace of scholarship pulling him out of destined obscurity as a lower middle class hangout in Hawaii. By the grace of university grants he was given access to the echoing halls of higher learning-how-to-impress and influence people for promotion. Obama is smitten by the elitist lifestyle. He wanted to belong then; he wants to belong now, all rhetoric aside. This egoistic need stands in the way of his potential for greatness…

More than naivety or a shallow read of history will bedevil Obama in 2010. It would seem he has made a bargain with the CEOligarchs of the financial sector. He thinks he can stroke the hand and change the heart of the elites feeding him power and significance.

Chapter 4: Real Economy Reform Hits a Wall Street of Banksters

Despite my oracle’s pessimism in late 2009 about the coming two years, it did eventually presage oligarchic control colliding with popular desires for reform as a repetition of the great 250-year cycle of middle class revolutions defined by the returned rare transit of Pluto through Capricorn. Now as before, when the wealthy class push comes to the people’s returned shove, you begin to see the kind of demonstrations before icons of authority, such as the Tahrir Square-like demonstrations currently ongoing near the façade of Wall Street. The corporate media may disparage these little demonstrations as they are employed to be teleprompted by their masters to do, but back in 2009, my oracle bore witness to such protests coming on like pebbles of people power that will soon start an avalanche of hopefully peaceful revolution and reform between now and 2024.

The pendulum has begun to swing and though it seems hard to believe that government will reform and regulate business as it used to, the long-term progress of this era of Pluto’s transit through Capricorn (2008-2024) will bring a subconscious desire for control and reform to return.

These powerful Plutonian collective unconscious forces described in the prescient poetry of astrology frame a deep and urgent desire for revolution that is rooted in logical, working and well-defined systems. The founding fathers of America labored and argued hard to forge such a rational constitutional system of governance the last time Pluto passed slowly through the sign of Capricorn. The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States are products of that transit.

In the following passage, my oracle foresaw a new definition of racism would rise that is more based on dividing us between the races who “have” and the races who “have-not” wealth and elitist, moneyed influence. The US leadership and especially the president – subconsciously perhaps – belong to the racist “haves” who patronize the “have-nots”. Obama is an Ivy League millionaire. He spends most of his days with other Ivy League or politically influential millionaires and billionaires. His feeling our pain is filtered through this new form of economic racism. His empathy is abstract, cerebral. My oracle saw this coming at the end of 2009 when it had me write the following:

A new Aquarian-Age racial discrimination coming is far more subtle than what is at last being transcended since Obama’s advent: a kind of racism not easily exposed. Mostly very good people unconsciously are caught under its spell. Even the president himself seems in his rhetoric to be unconsciously a racist in the new cut of destiny’s wild card. He’s of the Race of “Haves” who often patronize those belonging to the race of “Have-nots.”

Attention Muggles! Meet the One-Percenters of pure blooded wizards.

Your economic standing is the new measure of racism in America. It’s like half-blood Muggles versus pure blood magicians in the Harry Potter novels and movies. Doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, red or yellow, female or male, if you’ve got the magic of money, you are part of the race of magicians, if you are any color or gender but without a lot of the color greenback dollar of a good bank account, you are a muddling un-magical Muggle-born…

In 2010, the Geithners the Obamas and all the other ivy leaguers in the US Cabinet will learn the hard way. Merit is earned after you leave the university bubble, not before. The real test of the measure of your authentic meritocracy is at hand, Mr. President, and that of your flock of preppy technocrats. It might do well to include in your ranks those of lesser racial respect who didn’t go to college but passed successfully through the university of life and hard work accomplished. You might talk to those who used higher learning as a means to that end rather than a means to a superior dead-ended sense of audacious entitlement.

Chapter 5: The New Racism

Erin Burnett. How far you have fallen. From CNBC to CNN "BS". I happened to see her first show where this once respected journalist becomes a Corporate Media mannequin. In the Wolf Blitzer tradition, she tells us what to think about footage that only shows a few cranks dressed in zombie constumes in the crowds at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. Shame on you, Erin. You're the one who's the zombie.

Now let us move forward to predictions logged at the end of 2010. My oracle perceived the essence of a popular movement – that we currently define as the 99-Percent of Americans protesting the corruption, wealth hoarding and lack of sacrificing they perceive coming from the 1 percent of Americans who have the lobbies, the Congress, perhaps the president even, and the courts on their side. The race of “haves” are ever more defined by the 99-percent “have nots” as tightening their control on the wealth and political powers in America. To the 99-Percenters it would seem my oracle as far back as December of last year, had provided the following prescient cautions, comments and instructions on how to use social media as a tool of protest and what to do with this tool next:

I predict that countries, common (communal) markets, and industries will continue to hurt themselves if they don’t come together and fix what are becoming inter-national, inter-global, interconnected problems. That’s why the rest of Europe will help Greece as well as Spain, Portugal and Ireland’s troubled economies with financial assistance by the middle of 2011.

Take back the power from CEOlygarchies. Rediscover your authentic needs, then demand influence over what they supply.

If governments are slow to support watchdog agencies, citizens of the world can expose and change behavior of corporations via the power of the Internet to organize protests and declare their demands. You can WikiLeak. Expose craftiness and undemocratic behavior of your governments and corporations. Don’t like what British Petroleum did in the Gulf of Mexico last year [2010]? Start an Internet campaign to boycott buying any product associated with BP until they change their dangerous drilling practices. Any customer can be the first spark of a watchdog agency getting his or her message out to the worldwide-wired human world.

The same citizen power carried by Internet can revolutionize government and politics. Government need not be dismantled. It can be redefined to suit our 21st century. E-Gov approaches. It gives everyone with a computer keyboard or a smartphone direct access to public servants and services.

Though the middle class in America seems politically adrift, it will presently be carried through this decade in the momentum of young-spirited, newly emergent middle classes in the developing world. They can spread an Internet demand of democratic values that can begin pushing back on corporate-controlled governments around the world.

The keyboard is mightier than the culture of bureaucracy that slows and inhibits political and social progress.

The first step in bringing efficiency back to government is a network of citizens undermining bureaucratic attitudes, demanding their governments share information as an individual right.

Chapter 9: An Economy that Invents Demand

In my next blog we will let prophecy lift the veil on the present day’s other immediate and pressing economic quake, the default of Greece and the EU monetary union’s need to throw Greece out of its union, whilst finding 2 trillion Euro’s it doesn’t have to avoid European banking collapse.

FIRST DECLARATION FROM THE “OCCUPY WALL STREET” DEMONSTRATORS

I have posted the Declaration of Occupation coming from Zuccotti Park (renamed Liberty Park by the protesters) yesterday. It is the first of three planned statements explaining the views of the protesters.

The Occupy Wall Street movement describes itself as a leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions.

“The one thing we all have in common,” say the group, “is the we are the 99 Percent that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1 percent.”

They add that they are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve their ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.

Some of you are wondering why a prophecy watcher’s website is giving so much attention to this popular movement. If you trust my oracle’s instincts, they will point you to the next big thing happening in the future. This movement is a maturation of the first baby steps of the Tea Party movement towards something that I have been writing about since I posted my American Party Manifesto article, years ago. I have often said that only a third party movement that finds common ground amongst a frustrated and angry American populace will have the power to break the two-faced political monopoly of Democrat and Republican Parties that have polarized and frozen American democracy and begun handing it over to corporate control.

The Tea Party was the beginning. Occupy Wall Street and the other demonstrations spreading across the country is the second evolution of what will eventually become a great revolution from the invisible majority of Americans. It will eventually become a revolution from Middle America – the middle being what we all share as Americans.

What follows is the “Declaration of Occupation of New York City” and I predict there is much that all Americans can eventually agree on in these statements whether they politically see the world from the Left, the Center or the Right.

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

Occupy Seattle demonstrations.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.

They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.

They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.

They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.

They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless nonhuman animals, and actively hide these practices.

They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.

They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.

They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.

They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.

They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.

They have sold our privacy as a commodity.

They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.

They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.

They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.

They have donated large sums of money to politicians supposed to be regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.

They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantive profit.

They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.

They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.

They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.

They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.

They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.

They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts.

To the people of the world,

We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

On this tenth anniversary of a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon that may have launched the war of the Antichrist foreseen by Nostradamus, I wish to offer three passages of my writings on 9-11 posted from these ten years. Each conveys a very different mood and angle to the attack. The first is a narrative of tragedy, the second a satire of idiocy. The last is a prophetic revelation about 9-11 that some of you most vociferously apposed more than ten years ago. I wonder today if that will still be true now.

As you advance through each quoted passage you will be traveling back in time to that third comment logged in the spring of 2000 and reprinted a month after the 9-11 attacks in October 2001. This comment appeared in my book Nostradamus: The New Millennium, published in early 2002.

It represents what is the real king of terror, descending from the skies Nostradamus foresaw in his notorious “1999” prophecy indexed Century 10 Quatrain 72 of his history of the future. Perhaps he did not completely understand what he saw; or, we may tend to project something more familiar upon a more abstract meaning to his Roi d’Effrayeur (“King of Terror) coming from the sky.

Let judgment fall to the jury that is time and events sitting and gathering evidence over a decade. I once again send you this message about your present and your near future. I predict the real terror descending from your skies is far greater than anything that happened on 11 September 2001 and you have the means to prevent it.

The first quote was written in the summer of 2008:

Effrayeur is a dreadful word.

In French it means: to frighten, to alarm, to terrify. It lunges from the Latin formido: dread, terror. It is sudden, throat grabbing fright, unexpected and disturbing to the core. It soars on the wings of an airline jet roaring through soft blue autumnal skies over the narrow valley streets and manmade canyons of New York – an outrage of noise that guides one to look upwards and see its source devoured by the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Violence! Instantly rejected in the vomit of hot acid fuel spittle, fireballs, thunder and the after note of human shock and horror declared in ten thousand expletives of disbelief from those who witnessed it.

Effrayeur is Lord of the Skies the moment perception is raped by accident becoming terrible intent. It comes casting its lengthening swift shadow over towns and valleys of the Garden State, soaring across green waters of the Hudson, accelerating.

The Lord of Terror comes down from the skies, heralded by ovations of disbelief as now millions of New Yorkers and hundreds of millions of people around the world, in tight lipped or gaping horror before television screens, beat bewildered and unbelieving hearts. Terror charges in, turning slowly on the wings of infamy, engines screaming at full thrust to perform a macabre disappearance into the South Tower of the World Trade Center as if solid steel and glass were a vertical surface of water and a 767 Boeing passenger jet was an Olympic diver entering that surface in a perfect dive with nary a splash. In an instant the perversion of physics is erased by fireballs and the disbelieving screams of millions, in public, standing upon balconies and streets around New York, or viewed on televisions in private homes, bars, restaurants, TV shops and offices. In that moment of outrage and alarm, terror, set free of hijacked planes, seized hearts in public and private places across half the planet as all in that moment understood these planes crashing into buildings were no accident but a brazen attack on the United States.

Nostradamus in 2 Q30, his Majus-Mabus quatrain, defined Mabus [his code name for his Antichrist] as fera renaiƒtre, effrayeur des humains (terror to all human beings). The word is a very important clue that might guide us down the anagram trail to another set of candidates for Antichrist, also from the Middle East, but unlike Marxist-Leninist leaning Palestinian guerillas and secular pan-Arabist tyrants like Saddam Hussein, these are fanatically religious men, servants of martyrdom and if they could they would drag the whole wicked world down in the eruption of their own self-consuming flames. They are candidates for Antichrist as infernal holy warriors of Islam.

The first leg of following effrayeur-linking words to other quatrains brings us before Nostradamus’ most famous dated prophecy:

L’an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois,
Du ciel viendra vn grand Roy d’effrayeur.
Resusciter le grand Roy d’Angolmois.
Auant apres Mars regner par bon heur.

In the year 1999 and seven months,
The great King of Terror will come from the sky.
He will bring back the Khan of the Mongols.
Before and after Mars rules happily.

Specific dates are rare in Nostradamus but often accurate. This is the most specific he would ever write for our times. That makes it the most important to understand, to crack its code if there is one. It intends to mark a protean shift in human history proceeding from an act of terror coming from the sky. The King of Terror will bring back Genghis Khan, the King (Khan) of the Mongols. This is a metaphor used to frame something in the time of 1999 or thereabouts to a historical trauma still haunting the memory of 16th-century Europeans. Irresistible Mongol hordes had galloped out of Asia three centuries before Nostradamus wrote this prophecy. No European army of knights or siege walls could check them. The Mongols would have overrun Europe altogether had it not been for the opportune death of Genghis Khan’s heir, Ögedei Khan (d.1241), compelling them to turn their bridles eastward towards Mongolia to parlay for a successor. Nostradamus uses a metaphor of “yellow peril” brought back to challenge the West in 1999. What connection this danger has to the King of Terror lies obscure.

Nostradamus ends the prophecy with one last riddle. Mars is symbolic of war thriving happily. The higher aspect of Mars, however, is the Magus – the enlightened master and forger of new consciousness, new enterprises and explorations. Nostradamus may be using this noble title in a negative context, or to obscure allies and perpetrators of the King of Terror.

Let’s delve into more classical allusions.

The term Magus was originally applied to high priests of ancient Persia; are we thereby to consider this a classical allusion to the modern Islamic Republic of Iran “ruling happily” through wars of the Third Antichrist? If we are, then the renascent Mongol king is a current Iranian ally, a new “Khan” among totalitarian rulers of the awakening capitalist-communist hybrid superpower, The People’s Republic of China.

Then there’s the anagram tie-in to the Mabus quatrains. Take the g of Magus, turn it over and you have b for Mabus.

A deeper classical understanding of Baal Hammon-[or Thurbo Majus, the Latin name Roman conquerors of Cathage gave that God] connects it to the “King of Terror” descending from the skies. The Carthaginians and Phoenicians worshipped an all-powerful “Baal” or “Lord” God. The extent of Baal worship stretched from North Africa across lands currently called Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Syria and Iraq. Each region gave him a personalized name. What Nostradamus in 2 Q30 called the infernal god of Hannibal, Baal Hammon, was Lord patron deity of Carthage. When angered, Baal – any Baal – would retaliate bringing down storm and thunder as a “Lord of Terror coming from the skies.” The conduit of biblical and classical meaning has Baal Hammon, then, under the Romanized name Thurbo Majus, hiding Nostradamus’ Mabus as the King of Terror descending from the sky, resurrecting Mongol power in the emergent superpower China, allied to an emergent regional Middle Eastern superpower, Iran – China’s primary source of crude oil.

Now let’s turn insight into 9-11 on its ear. I wrote the second quote back in December 2007 for my almanac of prophecies for 2008. Now I wish to share them with the public at large to provoke a fresh look beyond 9/11 conspiracy dogma, at the real conspiracy most people where meant to miss.

Yes, Mildred, passenger jets full of people making readily documented cell phone calls about being hijacked on September 11, 2001, must have been faked by shadow elements in Illuminati-nation. While President Bush, during the attack, sat for seven minutes engrossed with a reading of “My Pet Goat” to an elementary class, uber-meisters who plugged him into presidency were having a Reich-Stag party abusing Lady Liberty’s city. Fake bin-Ladinites suddenly appeared in pilot seats to crash their Boeing 757s into New York City’s World Trade Center towers and the US Pentagon building in Washington D.C.

Those Boeing birds, in a twinkling of a geek-imagining eye, saw the love handle bulge of their wheel bays become — shazam! — customized cargo bays full of high explosives. And if that wasn’t enough to take a tower down, self-Illuminati-ated janitors-turned special “farces” — over Lord knows how many years — snuck around tearing open people’s office walls up and down 110 floors of each World Trade Center Tower, planting their sophisticated network of high explosives and wires to rival those openly planted in broad daylight over months of careful labor by demolition teams to blow down derelict skyscrapers.

9-11 conspiracies abound. Some imply conspiracies of commission; in other words, the Bush Administration set up a "false flag" conspiracy. Other's look to the August 2011 meeting of Bush's cabinet at his Crawford, Texas, dude ranch wherein, it is said he received actionable intelligence that Osama bin Laden was about to attack, yet did not do anything. This is the conspiracy of "omission."

Maybe the president in a moment of inattention following the exciting exploits of the pet goat was transfixed — stunned-mullet-eyed in wonder– of demolition agents of his shadow government being able to plant miles of blast wire and thousands of pounds of high explosives in two of the world’s most people-packed places. They did it with thousands of office paper pushers underfoot at all hours of the day. Each 110-floor twin tower, on average, had 50,000 people pass through its doors each day.

These towers collapsed into their own boiling cauldron of debris so smoothly.

Heck, no Aye-rab could have done that with a plane. Just like no 757 could punch such a small hole in the Pentagon. It must have been a cruise missile of some kind. Those frantic cell phone calls from passengers calling about the hijacking of American Airlines Flight 77, included the well-known MSNBC political analyst Barbara K. Olson. The tapes of her call to her husband, United States Solicitor General Theodore Olson at the Department of Justice, must have been faked in a sound studio because the 64 people on the plane with her can’t just have disappeared. The shadow government must have pulled their wool of darkness over anyone listed as passengers on that plane.

The Illuminati can do that.

Oh yes!

Just ask my pet goat. I mean, let’s face it, an over-lording and vastly efficient shadow organization must be pretty hot shit when they employ one of the most inept, corrupt, bungling, secrets leaking administrations in modern US history as their Patsy for a fake al-Qaeda attack on America.

Now let’s place 9-11 prophetic theory on its head. The third quote was published in October 2001 and written over a year before the attacks; yet, it alludes to a revelation about Nostradamus’ 1999 prophecy logged over two years before the attack in some of my first articles for Hogueprophecy.com:

In July of 1999, the dramatic intensification of hot and violent weather inspired me to declare that Nostradamus’ long awaited “king of Terror” expected to descend from the skies in July of 1999 was not a person, but a phenomenon. It is Global Warming. Furthermore, this “king” and his “terror” of superstorms, global droughts and subsequent global famines is with us for the coming 30 years.

The events of the spring of 2000 [when I wrote these observations] only add to the efficacy of Nostradamus’ famous warning: “In 1999 and seven months, the great King of Terror will descend from the skies…” (Century 10, Quatrain 72)

The obscurity of Nostradamus’ Old French syntax allows the prophecy to also cover July [2000] by adding “seven months” from the end of 1999 and getting July 2000. This could tie into the first prophecy’s warning of a terrible drought in latitude 48 in “Cancer.” By the end of July (a month represented by “Cancer” in astrology), we could witness more dramatic climatic upheavals. There may be powerful level 5 hurricanes, and a boiling of field and stream from unprecedented heat waves spanning across the American Midwest and Southeast all the way to Southwest France.

(Update [October 2001]: The summer of 2000 saw a half-dozen typhoons flood China, Taiwan the Philippines, Japan and Vietnam. The United Nations announced that at least 60 million people in central and southern Asia had been affected by a severe drought. By August India was beset by monsoon downpours flooding along the Brahmaputra and Ganges rivers leaving more than 51 million people homeless. The American midwest and Southeast endured a third year of the worst drought since the Dust Bowl years of the 1930s. In July visitors returning from the North Pole reported that the polar ice cap had melted for the first time in recorded history. There was open ocean at the top of the world where one used to tread upon thick ice.)

In a world where the polluted atmosphere taps the sun’s heat, extreme weather is the norm. Many prophecies I have recorded in my books forewarn of areas flooded and whipped by dreadful storms, while other regions suffer droughts of biblical proportions. Add to this the dwindling supply of fresh water to sustain a billion new people appearing on the earth in the first eleven years of the new millennium [and a billion more twelve years after that] and [my new and controversial interpretation of this famous prophecy] will perhaps find [its] fulfillment.

If the end of July 2000 marks the onset of these unpleasant events they may yet again warn us in time to change. Killer droughts and storms could galvanize the public and leaders alike to create a long-term policy to prevent a runaway weather catastrophe before it is too late.

(Update [October 2001]: Since the summer of 2000, the developed nations of Europe have moved to initiate an emission limiting regimen delineated by the Kyoto Accords, but the United States has backed away from any official reductions. The new Bush administration, which is clearly pro-fossil fuel in its energy policies, will not support the reduction of emissions and is doing its utmost to roll back twenty years of ecological and energy saving policies to produce more greenhouse gas emissions to feed its sagging consumer economy. Indeed, the new leadership scoffs at the overwhelming scientific evidence that an increased use of fossil fuel will only bring on greater fever and convulsions in future climatic weather. Thus at the time of this writing, the greatest polluter and energy using developed nation continues to feed the King of Terror called Global Warming.)

Over the memorial celebration for those lost in the crash of Flight 93 set in fields of Pennsylvania attended by the President and First Lady. Baking the Vice President and throngs gathered at the monument benches representing all those killed when Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. Descending out of the skies on tens of thousands standing at the Ground Zero listening to the friends, survivors and families of the lost reciting their names at the World Trade Center under reconstruction in New York City, the late summer day was hot — far hotter than on September 11, 2001 when the terror of hijacked commercial airlines came out of the skies.

The long, hot and often triple-digit heat waves of summer 2011 break most records from the summer of 2001. A great swath of mounting rolling terror comes out of the sky, like the thunder of typhoons and hurricanes, flashing like the lightning highlighted in less than a gasping blink of a second, of frightful columns of super cell tornadoes in Joplin, Missouri, Huntsville, Alabama. The rolling and drumming of 20 inches of rain that just fell across New Orleans and up the Appalachian states feeds new flood to Hurricane Irene’s watery ennui of disaster from New England to New Jersey. It sounds the king of Terror is on the march with a tattoo of drumming rains. The reflection of his cloudy grimace in skies projects upon the standing water under which Queensland, Australia lies. His reflection stands in waters drowning southeastern China and the winding, swollen mirror of the swamped Missouri and Mississippi River basins do project a glimpse of his angry solar eyes. The great king of terror of 2011 sets not a fireball to high tower like in 2001, but makes the sun a fireball scorching the central continental farmlands of the world, especially over Oklahoma and Texas.

Do you recognize yet this King of Terror?

He pushes us in the corner of our denial and breathes on us.

He exhales our stupidity out of stove to car exhaust pipes. He blights the atmosphere out of an acid rain forest of coal breathing smoke stacks. He is conjured by our excess, our shortsighted planning. He seeks an ally in our adversarial primeval habit to see Nature as a thing to be conquered when we had conquered her long ago. Yet there lurks the cave man and woman still hiding underneath our thin veneer of civilization aided now by the power of modern technology to destroy the ecosystem in a climate cascade and take down our civilization with it if we do not catch up with our golden destiny, to become a new, meditative, ecologically sound and loving humanity.

That future humanity is in harmony with the cosmos. That humanity will no longer suppress the ransacking fearful, covetous savage because these future people that are in seed within each of us today will have flowered and looked deep inside themselves exploring the caves of the primeval subconscious mind with a shining light of awareness. They thus will understand the savage habit and by understanding dispel him once and for all with their enlightenment.

Frankly, I do not care if Nostradamus never meant his 1999 prophecy to mean global warming. But I do care that you meditate on this King of Terror he may have missed. See your part in its tyranny, and do your part to starve him of your pollution of mind and the bitter fruits of the unconscious mind’s labors before his descent from the skies becomes a climate change your civilization cannot survive.

East Coast Earthquake

Busy times! Two prophecy news flashes in less than 24 hours. Both about seismic events: yesterday political (see below); today, a quake with an epicenter near Washington DC that was felt all across the Eastern Seaboard states all the way west to Chicago Illinois. Millions fan out into the streets of major US cities like  the nation’s capital, New York, Philadelphia. Nuclear plants have been shut down. Rail and airports, shut down for a time as crews check for damage. The last time the Virginia/Washington area experienced a magnitude 5.8 or 5.0 quake was 114 years ago! When the quake happened I was composing the first few lines of an article about what I predict will be the most volatile month of an already volatile year of 2011. I have called it the year of 12 catastrophes, because something major and earth shaking in economy, politics, the climate shift or other natural disasters have hit nearly every month.

This is the line for a new article I was composing the moment the quake struck:

“We approach what may be the most volatile month of the year. My oracle calls it the month of seven seismic events. These are not just natural disasters of earthquakes and tsunamis. There also will be quakes shaking the foundations of nations and economies…”

PROPHECY NEWS FLASH!

Gaddafi Regime Collapsing

Breaking news, thy name is life under the sudden and convulsive surprises possible during a Pluto Square Uranus astrological aspect. I just finished this article about the future of food sustainability and a few moments later, Libyan rebels playing out a real life “Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome” drive their desert rat trucks bristling with machine guns and RPGs into the heart of Gaddafi’s lair, Tripoli. There is much Nostradamus may have written about Libya as a catalyst for the radicalization of North Africa and the Middle East in his Armageddon scenario, if this most tribally divided of Muslim countries should now unravel into the mayhem of an even wider multilateral civil war.

Modern Libya is the land of the Barbare (Barbary Coast) as Nostradamus called it in the 16th century. According to him, the Barbare possibly undermine a fragile progress towards friendship between two northern kingdoms who bear eagles as their totems. This would be America (the Bald Eagle) and Russia (land of the double-headed eagle).

Barbare may be an anagram for Arabe — the French spelling of Arab. What happens next in Libya could spread to the Arab world and undermine all chance of fellowship between Russia and America. This could lead to a nuclear confrontation either three or 13 years from now, unless we correctly heed and positively act on the signs of Nostradamus.

Just now, the situation is still quite fluid and chaotic in Libya. I will allow some time to pass to assess where all of this is prophetically going — hopefully going towards a better future, rather than one so dire as the above. There has been a new wave of reruns of my appearances on television across America. Documentaries that are three and even five years old are being broadcast more frequently on History Channel, History International Channel, Discovery and Planet Green channels because today’s events make them more pertinent than ever before.

It is television’s nature that hours of interview are distilled down to a sound byte that at best gives a hollowed out hint of the depth of the core message. I am ever hopeful that the hint is enough for sincere explorers of prophecy matching events that they will “Google the Hogue” as it were. I trust that people who care to change the future for the better will come to this website or read my e-books and printed books to rediscover the meat of my oracle’s message rather than presume to know that message by picking at the bleached photon and electron bones flickering on your television set.

I am grateful to television for sometimes capturing my right “hint” of chief importance to humanity’s future. Especially when the future’s message of fundamental importance to our continued furtherance on this planet gets its bones presented, such as Nostradamus’ clear message of a nuclear war between Russia and America coming “after” the Cold War ended and the Soviet superpower had vanished. The remains of that message has appeared on the Nostradamus Effect and The Next Nostradamus documentaries. The full bodied meat of that message was the opening topic of my Epilogue that described the War of the Third Antichrist in my book Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named: MABUS.

Another critically important and very nasty “surprise” I have tried to send onto television airwaves is the following comment that did make it through the ruthless editorial cuts TV must demand on interviews. This was filmed back in July 2008 in San Antonio for History Channel’s Nostradamus 2012. I first introduced Nostradamus’ quatrain 98 of Century 5, which reads:

At latitude of 48 degrees at the end of Cancer
There is a very great drought.
Fish in the sea, river and lake boiled hectic
From fire in the sky.

Then the camera moved from a Gothic version of Nostradamus’ words magically painting themselves on screen to a shot of myself, where I said the following:

You look on a map…you look at the Northern Hemisphere and ALL the great grain belts of the world are intersected by 48-degree latitude…

Then J.R. Jochmans reminds us of Nostradamus’ global cannibalism prophecy. Then Jochmans’ face vanishes, replaced by an ocean of famished black Africans in a dust-storm ravaged refugee camp, possibly in Darfur or in the Congo with my voice-over leading and return of my image as I add:

Famine is the most dangerous threat to all of us in all prophecies of dire nature, the way you “buy it” in the doomsday is through hunger.

The end of Cancer in astrology describes the latter half of July, the peak weeks in the Northern Hemisphere for summer heat. Look to the nearly dried out lakes across Texas, suffering months of sustained, triple digit temperatures. The fish are hectically swimming in what is left of the water in Texas lakes from the triple digit fire from the skies.

Many of my Texan readers have sent reports like the following, coming from Robert H., which was sent on 28 July:

“In West Texas they have not seen measurable precipitation since last September (now over 300 days!). Does (mother deer) are abandoning their young for lack of food and water. Same with birds as they are abandoning their chicks in the nests. Midland, Texas (a metro area of 250,000 and George W [Bush’s] hometown) will run out of water in its reservoirs in 1 1/2 years without a major rain and is building an emergency pipeline to tap groundwater. It is bad in the oil country of West Texas.”

This extraordinary drought in Texas has shriveled and killed off the corn and wheat crop. Hay has to be imported to feed the decimated livestock and cattle herds. Texan agribusiness will lose an estimated $5 billion dollars this year and this lingering drought is not isolated to Texas alone. Most of Oklahoma, much of Mississippi and the US southeastern states are under extreme drought conditions also destroying their crop yields.

This is not the fulfillment of Nostradamus’ fire-from-the-sky prophecy. It is the first of many alarm bells beginning to ring in regards to our unsustainable habits, which I described in the final chapter of Predictions for 2011.

It is but a taste of what is to come as climate change triggers crop desiccating droughts over Texas and Oklahoma whilst it drowns 200,000 acres of cropland along the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers with record flooding. Note this prophecy again when such events do indeed become the “new normal” after 2012 has been long forgotten as Chicken Little’s last doomsday date.

The fiery Sun drawing its blazing line on latitude 48 across the grain belts of Europe, America, Russia and China will fall into this new norm of crop failures in the 2010s and 2020s that will reverberate in further social unrest in the Middle East, Asia, China and the developing world because of skyrocketing food prices.

You will see the great famine approaching implied by the above Nostradamus prophecy and others describing it directly when time and the bitter harvest of our habitually childish habits and unconscious, programmed actions from today cross over what is foreseen waiting in our tomorrows. We must grow up as a race of potentially sentient beings, or grow thin from not growing enough to sustain our civilization and ourselves.

I will finish my article today by posting my 16 March 2011 interview for Raw Epicurean.net. The great storms and floods that have hit the world’s breadbasket in the first half of 2011, the great grain growing states of the US Midwest, have fallen off the radar of ratings and interest of the mainstream corporate news. Certainly, other stories concern us now: the loss of American and European leadership and credibility in finding economic solutions to their debt problems. After Greece there arises a deepening EU banking crisis concerning Italy and Spain that all point to a slide back into double-digit recession in the late summer or early autumn. Yet, as printing money at the problem inflates it, let not the corporate media’s fixation distract you from a far more volatile, ongoing crisis coming from worldwide food prices continuing to rise because of global warming.

As one of my readers recently wrote. We undergoing a “Climate Shift”. This rolling shift in the world’s climate axis is threatening our means to feed the human race. Climate shifts to extremes that become the new normal string of historic flood of hundreds of thousands of acres of crops this spring. Now America this summer has a heat wave to match the historic cauldron of fire from the skies that visited Russia last year, temporarily knocking her out of the grain export business. Vast tracks of corn and wheat fields across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska wilt and shrink in sustained triple-digit heat waves. Consequently, 100-plus temperatures have baked Dallas Texas for 40 days straight before one night of rain fell. Now the days of 100-plus temperatures gather their number once again. And here comes the Hurricane Season with Tropical Storm Irene bearing down on Florida.

Wall Street facade.

The day following the historic Down Jones Industrial drop of -512.76, was a mathematical yo-yo of ups and downs on the charts. Stocks plummeted at the opening nearly to 200 points, then soared a few hundred points in the plus upon news that EU Central Bankers will buy bonds of Italian and Spanish debt. A lift in points was surged by a US July job market report was not as pathetic as anticipated at around 100,000 new jobs. (Must have been a run on lifeguard positions at holiday beaches.)

Then the bear market pounced. It chewed on the head of that gain down to the bone at around +60 plus points by the closing claxon. Astrologically speaking, the stocks are down and up Uranus squared Pluto surpassing, manic-depressive jumps out the limb lows to rebound in resurrection high pies in the sky to then collapse at the end of the day like a soufflé.

What happened?

Perhaps some market reflection buzz-killed the Italian job when investors and bankers and CNBC talking heads started calling the EU bond buyouts of Spanish and Italian ballooning debts – source of the volatility — another version of printing money without actually printing money. This farce is better known at QE1 and QE2, the acronyms for two tries in America of Quantitative Easing of debt practiced by the US Federal Reserve.

The Fed had manufactured credit out of thin air the first half of 2011 to the tune of $600 billion by June. The flush of funny money goes out into the open market and buys securities, government bonds from all and sundry offering these on regular bond markets. Credit is thus created and that voodoo money enters the economy because our system uses fractured flickered fractional reserve banking. That means for every voodoo dollar worth of credit the Fed conjures out of thin air it multiplies credit value times ten.

This is Mickey Mouse economics 101. The sorcerer’s apprentice in a Fantasia Federal Reserve, Mr. Ben Bernanke, waves his wand and the broomstick carrying buckets of water multiplies by ten. That means if Ben flashes his wand around publicly, conjuring $600 over the first six months of 2011 it creates a money supply of $6 Trillion.

Since the trillions given by Bush and Obama to bail them out did not reform banks, they are not lending but sitting on the cash. Time, therefore, for this Mickey Mousing Fed to put on its purple cone wizard hat with stars, crank up a little Paul Dukas symphonic thunder and start multiplying those broom sticks to flood the market with credited cash as real as a cartoon.

As long as everyone is captivated by the movie, it kinda works. That is, until Mickey gets the boot and the magic credit buying ends, like it did in America this June. Soon after the economy started to decline again as the QE2 sank behind the smoke and Mickey Mouse mirrors.

Ciao! Bella Italia!

The EU banks are going Bernanke on you and Spain. That had some part in deflating the soufflé on Wall Street, Friday. This voodoo stimulus is only a temporary fix like just about everything leaders and economist do around the world about the systemic problems undermining this global economy.

Something else might have unleavened the bread and buttered numbers in the plus. A rumor rat holing around Wall Street that credit rater Standard and Poor’s (S&P) was going to cut down the US credit a peg or two this weekend from a triple to double star rating. Rumor became soon fact. The downgrade will be explained as a lack of confidence in the US political leadership, both president and US congress, as the fundamental cause. Kicking the problem down the road to November when a committee will report actual cuts suggested is anticipated to be just as acrimonious and politically charged as the farce of financial bickering we saw this summer. Yet, the S&P by committing itself to this downgrading path whilst other important credit rating bodies are not puts their credibility into doubt and confusion. Moreover, the S&P mathematical mistake of calculating debt off by 2.5 trillion dollars… The result: more leadership crisis in the judged as well as the S&P judges.

My oracle presented this future when I set down to write Predictions for 2011 in October, publishing the following findings on 21 December 2010.

Let us walk through some of these predictions followed by brief assessments:

The pundits of economy picked by the US president in early 2009 pontificated the tried and true dictum: recessions always see jobs return last. For the first time and during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, the people aren’t buying it. Watch American politics turn on its ear…

2011 will be the year of the politically foolhardy.

…Uncertainty reigns.

I’ve never encountered a year so murky as I plunged my “oracle” in a dive off the “divining” board.

…There are new kinds of wars coming. The “money wars.” Conflicts where weapons are decimal points: e-strikes on the airwaves in acts of e-terrorism between nations clashing with armies of ones and zeros.

INTRODUCTION: The Year of Multiple Choices

… If [Obama] doesn’t fire and hire the right economic advisors to win his battles with the economy, Obama will fulfill my oracle’s initial warnings logged in a HogueProphecy Bulletin posted on 10 March 2007. [See Obama Nation] He will roll in to his destiny four years too soon as a potentially great president unripe for office.

…He’s now moved from bad Wall Street insiders (like Geithner) to worse: associates of secret plutocratic societies, such as Austan Goolsbey – a member of Skull and Bones.

I don’t foresee how Obama can win a second term on his own merits if he keeps picking such advisers.

Chapter 4: The Second Coming of Change We can Believe in

ASSESSMENT
One of the worst and most unripe executive choices made by this professor of constitutional law who never had any executive experience in business or government until he started his on the job training in the oval office on 20 January 2009, was to hire Wall Street insider and co-bungler of the Bush bailout, Timothy Geithner, as Secretary of the Treasury.

With job creation flat and for the most part not on the table this summer added to the marginalizing of Geithner by an “Iago” closer to Othello’s ear about the economy, the Skull and Bonesman, Austan Goolsbey, rumor has it Geithner was about to resign.

Obama cites President Lincoln as his role model; yet, true to his un-Lincoln-like immaturity as a leader, he pledges for now to keep his “General McClellan” commanding the front in this financial war with the Right. Thus, Geithner will continue to lose the economic conflict for his president as 2011 drags on.

In my prophecies for 2011, I coined a new term for the Global Recession:

The year 2011 will bring a new understanding of what this decades-long Global Recession truly is: a Cold Depression.

It’s an economic version of a doomsday stand off between runaway deflation and inflation, armed, cocked and ready by deregulation of the banking and financial systems, waiting in mute threat in row after row of foreclosed houses, ranked down empty suburban streets like row after row of silent missiles in their silos on the Midwestern plains. We all wait for someone on any side of this economy to drop “the bomb” – the debt bomb.

ASSESSMENT
The debt bomb was nearly dropped on 2August 2011 in an artificial crisis when Congress and President nearly let the United States default on its debt. Cold Depression almost turned hot. Now we return to a kind of new normal, a jobless recovery, a stasis where economic growth of corporations, making historic profits, do so without hiring workers. This kind of stasis my oracle defined back in 2010:

World wars couldn’t spread in the Cold War climate, nor can a hyper-inflated balloon economy go “pop!” at the sudden thundering of an apocalyptic debt bomb, if the economy will remain static. This standoff stasis, if sustained, even if it means little GNP growth for a decade, means no sudden, thermal-economic collapse.

The Dow Jones ballooning well beyond 12,000, the divided government and the leadership polarization that may lead to the US credit rating going down into deeper Recession was anticipated by my oracle in the following observations that sound more like they were written today – not in December of last year. Note the underlined:

In the name of freeing up the economy, the new Congress will begin pulling off the bandages of Bush’s TARP and other money wad bandages of Obama’s reforms. They’ll be playing with the wounds.

The bubble Obama let the financial banks and Wall Street start blowing up again will balloon rapidly under this new Congress. You could find stocks climbing well beyond 12,000 points on the Dow Jones Exchange.

Yes! You could see that, especially if Republican House and Senate legislators hold onto the panacea that cutting taxes cures all. They keep putting their blind ideological faith in mathematically implausible numbers rather than good old-time Republican business acumen.

…For a long time now, what is presently preached under the Republican brand isn’t the fiscally conservative, socially tolerant stalwart of moderation. A deep polarity is coming in political-economic discourse in 2011. The midterm elections split the Congress. Gridlock on economic reform is coming. If the Republicans let the right wing partisan cat jump out of the Tea Bag, they will precipitate the next worldwide financial crisis in US leadership confidence.

ASSESSMENT
Has all of this not happened, especially a worldwide loss of faith in US economic and political leadership? I have written at length in Predictions for 2010 and Predictions for 2008 that a two-year probation would follow the foreseen Great Recession of 2008. If systemic failures are not reformed and purged out of the banking, housing systems and Wall Street, then starting as early as October 2010 and no later than mid-2011, we would embark on a Second Recession.

A key trigger was an oncoming Euro banking crisis, to which the oracle presaged in December 2010:

Bernanke believes that the Federal Reserve printing yet again another 600 billion-dollar wad for 2011, will stave off deflation. (I forewarn you now; he’ll print more than a trillion before the end of 2011). For this new bubble of the buck to succeed, he and the United States fiscal policy will need monetary help from the Chinese and Russian governments inflating the value of their currencies. With economic currency nationalism on the rise in 2011, economic coordination won’t be forthcoming.

The contagion of a European bank crisis in 2011 could easily spread around the world infecting the interconnected US and Chinese banks. If Europe goes deeper into recession, it affects Chinese imports and US business. Wrestling with a zombie EU Bank crisis, European leaders will test the waters of austerity programs finding they make for a more shaky European banking system.

China made some symbolic moves to increase the true value of its currency but not enough as of yet to have real impact. Half the year remains before us. Russia did nothing and is waiting on the fence so far. Spain and Italy will get their Mickey Mouse QE1 experimental bond credit boost of devalued Euros. The austerity to come may see riots in the streets, Greek style. It is initiating a Second Recession.
