Things are not what they seem. There is saber rattling in the Persian Gulf (or what Nostradamus called in his predictions about a future war with Iran, the “Arabian” Gulf). Your corporately funded and controlled mainstream news outlets like to prey on the childishness of the masses. They play our overlording parent waving a saber baby rattle to attract a child’s wondering attention as the nurse, as it were, prepares the painful butt shot.

Watch the rattling saber, my fellow babies. Coo your concern and fatal attraction to a war being pushed upon you with Iran by a military industrial complex that needs to find another market in the highly profitable big business of war armaments and deterrents in the Middle East. The war business lost the Iraq market with the pullout of the US military occupation. Pakistan’s radicalization will soon pinch off the war market in Afghanistan, much sooner than the deadline of 2014, by the way.

The public’s infantile attention is directed elsewhere, away from real dangers lurking in the highly unstable and Islamist-bound regime along the Indus River. Pakistan with its crash program to triple its nuclear weapons stockpile is adding 200 more 25 to 35 kiloton nuclear warheads to its current arsenal of 100 nukes by 2021. The press obsesses on Iran maybe someday building an atomic bomb. Terrorist cells train in Pakistan in the vicinity of 100-plus nuclear warhead stockpiles TODAY. A Pakistani military and government already heavily infiltrated by jihadist sympathizers guard these Islamic A-bombs. The same military and government that often give Afghani Taliban logistical and intelligence support when they attack US and NATO forces occupying Afghanistan.

Iran is years away from having the ability to build atomic weapons. At any moment now, a Pakistani warhead or radioactive materials stockpiled to build hundreds more could be smuggled to the Taliban or what is left of al-Qaeda. The tools of nuclear terrorism can at any moment be smuggled out of Pakistani military bases and handed over to emerging and strengthening organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba. This Pakistani based jihadist network effectively shot up downtown Mumbai India in November 2008.

Iran may soon become a danger, but Pakistan, right now, IS a danger and its growing instability becomes a more clear and present threat to human peace and stability than what the Iranians may or may not be doing with their nuclear civilian program at this time. I predict it will be proven that Iran is only learning how to make an atomic bomb. They will not actually build them. Israel introduced these awful weapons of mass atomic destruction into the Middle East in the 1960s. They now have an arms race lead of an estimated 80 to 300 warheads. It is impossible to catch up given the scrutiny and economic sanctions placed on Iran.

Rattle, rattle, rattle goes the sword of war in its scabbard, daily and nightly on the 24-hour news cycles of corporately left-leaning CNN to corporately right-leaning Fox News propaganda organs of the politically two-faced aristocracy of our times. The elites do not cite bloodlines as their reason for being the alpha male and female class. They cite bottom lines of immense hoards of corporate wealth and influence over totalitarian and democratic government politicians of our day.

They have an agenda. They want to “inject” something into the backside of the Middle East to control the juice of their affluence, the black blood that runs our civilization: the last location of easy-to-drill petroleum that happens to lie underneath volatile Arab and Persian states. Since 2006 and in my book about war with Iran, I have been writing about a movement masquerading behind the US and Israeli governments that is neo-Imperialist, Neo-Conservative. It has the former deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz and the former Vice President Dick Cheney as its earliest author and editor of a manifesto first introduced shortly after the end of the Cold War, that strategically planned a new way for American superpower to remain relevant after the Soviet Union’s collapse. In short, America with help or unilaterally must take down the rogue regimes of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and the Islamic Revolutionary regime of Iran so that oil can run free and fully under the sphere of influence of the United States. If war and occupation must happen in Iraq and Iran, then so be it. As I listed in a recent article Israel Iran Strike, the Wolf, his Dick and many other leading figures in the Neo-Conservative movement crowded the G.W. Bush administration’s cabinet. They successfully pushed the US Congress in October of 2002 to grant war powers to the president based on a lot of saber rattling and no solid evidence that Saddam Hussein had a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction that was an imminent threat to the United States. All complete and hyperbolic BS, as it turned out, but it got the Neo-Conservatives half way to their goal, even though it did not get them the oil because the Bush administration proved to be a bungling gaggle of faux Imperialists. Saddam’s Iraq went down. Iran, you are next.

I have also been at pains to forewarn my readers that this cabal of Neo-Cons marries right wing corporate interests in the US to Zionist supremacists in Israel, which would have the US expend its treasure and its blood to fulfill the foreign policies of Israel. This has become an absurdist turn of events where the proxies control the superpower. I understand why Israel might seek to manipulate a friend and military giant to wage its wars and aggressive foreign policies in a region hostile to its existence. I understand why Iran might want to know how to build an atomic bomb when hundreds of Israeli warheads are pointed at its people, which an any point might be unleashed.

What you, my readers, need to understand is that Iran’s oil reserves are dwindling. Teheran plans in the next few decades to build 15 nuclear plants because the next generation of Iranians will need a new industry beyond the fading oil export industry, and a new source of electricity and power to generate it. Iran MUST go ahead with its nuclear program for its economic survival and the only way it can pay for it is to export oil while there is still oil to ship out through the Strait of Hormuz.

Cut its ability to export and you have cut Iran’s economic future below the knees. When you shut a country’s economy down and stop talking to them, you leave that country only a military option. More on that a little later.

Know this also, that Iran seeks like any other signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the knowledge to build atomic weapons.

Did we sanction Taiwan, South Korea, or Japan decades before when they tested and acquired the know-how to build atomic weapons, just in case a nuclear power like Communist China might threaten?

The saber rattles and rattles your attention away from the hypocrisies and big business oil and big business military players behind the facades of President Bush, President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

The war market is in a crisis. The infernal shop of conflict is closing for the moment in Iraq and in Afghanistan soon. There is ever less reason out there for US taxpayers to bankroll this capitalist welfare program that fields a Cold War sized Imperial US armed force after strategic threats requiring such a behemoth had vanished with the Cold War over 20 years ago. Global economic pressures also push America to downsize its stupendous military might. It is ten times more powerful than any armed force that could vaguely threaten. Now that Saddam is gone, the big boots of a Soviet sized bogeyman look even more ridiculous if you try to shove them on little, rat faced Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s feet.

A resumption of a global cold war with the Soviet replacement, the Russian Federation, is unlikely for now, so big war businessmen must seek a regional cold war business model. Iran is perfect for this. The military industrialists would prefer containing Iran for decades rather than a short sharp and messy conflict. The Cold War between the US and Soviet Union cost relatively few American lives, compared to the First and Second World Wars but made contractors in the Military Industrial Complex insanely rich off taxpayer’s dollars just preparing for, but not actually waging, doomsday. The same set up is happening in the Persian Gulf Cold War starting in 2012. Huge defense spending contracts and orders are already going through, soon to rebuild and reboot the air forces and missile defense systems of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States with the most modern and most pricey US weaponry on the market.

The more moderate puppet masters competing to pull the strings of the current US president and Israeli Prime Minister would seek to postpone a major war with Iran. Building and sustaining military deterrents is much more war profitable. At least postpone until the middle of the decade at the earliest because fantastic profits are theirs for the taking in a ramp up of Saudi and Gulf State rearmament for the next four years.

There is at the moment a more impatient set of polemical puppet masters of the Neo-Con-cum-Zionist faction of the military industrial complex that want to give Iran what I would call the “Japanese Ultimatum” – the no choice but war option. They know they cannot stop Iran from exploring nuclear weapons unless they can somehow push Teheran out of its passive aggressive foreign policy game into some precipitous action. All the last attempts during the Bush administration since 2005 through 2008 to create a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz in which most of the oil shipped by sea to the world passes failed because the Iranians did not take the provocative bait. They have not taken the bait in a clandestine war the US started waging inside Iran since 2005. Terrorists the US supports are available for weapons and bomb training in a number of non-Persian ethnic populations in Iran. The CIA and Israeli Mossad secret services have trained these to blow up hundreds of people in bombed planes, squares and mosques across Iran since 2005.

Your corporate Western media does not want you to know that.

The serial assassination of nearly a half dozen nuclear physicists and scientists of late is just an escalation of this secret war of terrorism waged against Iranians by Israeli and CIA operatives.

Oh! I’m sorry. These roadside bombers aren’t terrorists. If the good guys blow women and children up with car bombs in crowded streets of Iran, they are “freedom fighters.”

Now, to be fair, Iran’s government is getting its own back. They wage clandestine war against Israel ever since this secret war started, using the proxies of Hezbollah and have sent military trainers by the hundreds to teach Hezbollah terrorists how to launch imported Iranian rockets falling on innocent Israeli civilians. A large part of the 5,000 US and Coalition soldiers killed in Iraq and to some extent Afghanistan were fatally maimed by an ever more deadly evolution of Iranian manufactured roadside bombs.

The Iranian-US-Israeli regional Cold War has been on since 2005, yet in 2012, it could go potentially hot, like the global cold war between the US and the Soviet Union almost did during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Especially now that the Neo-Cons are doing everything they can through the media and through political pressure in the US to push upon Obama the “Japanese Ultimatum” against Iran.

In late 2011, the US Senate voted unanimously to enact a regimen of sanctions handed to President Obama that would cripple Iran’s one economic lifeline, its oil exports. Obama would prefer to push the Iranians in increments, but forces pulling the strings and holding the financial purses of Democratic and Republican puppets in the Senate have pressed for an escalation that will, if successful, end all political support for a negotiated solution in Iran.

General Hideki Tojo became Japan's Prime Minister in 1941 when US ultimatums and a US embargo of steel and petroleum exports silenced doves and diplomats in the Japanese cabinet. Tojo sanctioned the surprise attack on the US Pacific Fleet at Peal Harbor.

It is kind of a reverse image of what happened to Imperial Japan just before they went to war with the US in 1941. The expansion, indeed the survival, of the Japanese Empire depended on foreign exports of steel and oil to fuel and arm its military. Most of these exports came from America. When President Franklin D. Roosevelt put an embargo on all oil and steel exports to Japan, he forced the diplomats out of power in Tokyo. War hawk officers filled the void in the Japanese Cabinet of Emperor Hirohito. Negotiations had turned to ultimatums from America to get out of Indo-China and China. In less than a year, Japan’s military machine would cease to work. No country with a war machine and Imperial intentions, be they Japan in the 1940s or Neo-Conned America in the 21st century, will let their forces run out of steel and fuel. War was the only option Japan had. They attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 to destroy the US Pacific Fleet so their own fleet and army could conquer the oil fields of Indonesia without US threat.

History past becomes history future, relatively easy to forecast, because people keep conditioning their new generations to repeat the same stupid mistakes. All the elements of the Japan Ultimatum are in this Iran Ultimatum passed by the US Senate. Oil is again the catalyst for war, only this time it is not oil denied to Iran’s domestic industries and military forces. Iranian oil exports will be severely restrained “from” Iran.

Rather than aid a negotiated settlement, like with Japan, the cynical intention of these sanctions is to flush out any remaining doves from the Iranian government, which has already become more militarized and dominated by its own General Hideki Tojos, the officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. If you want to force the hand of war, push sanctions that are impossible to economically survive. Threaten a nation’s economic existence.

There is another objective, more cynical and dreadful happening here and Iran is only the bait, not the target. The target is a slow but fragile recovery of the US economy during a presidential election year. There are well-financially-healed oligarchic forces in the world influencing American politics that could easily absorb a temporary financial hit in 2012 if it takes down the Obama administration and what is left of the toe hold the Democrats have in the US Senate.

The creeping coup of a corporate aristocracy had already conquered the US Supreme Court in 2010 and received their “equal citizen status” allowing an empowered plutocracy to flood money and influence to decide the US elections according to what their money can buy and what you human citizens of America cannot lobby and possibly match fund.

The real reason why a push for war with Iran goes on whilst the real danger of nuclear terrorist proliferation remains unaddressed in Pakistan, is to create a false flag crisis in the Persian Gulf that disrupts oil flow out of the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan needs to go radical so the same Neo-Cons who looked the other way to let 9-11 terror attacks on America happen, can yet again resurrect a jihadist bogeyman that will require decades of deterrent military spending.

But I get ahead of myself. First, false flag a conflict with Iran in 2012. The Strait of Hormuz is closed to oil traffic. The skyrocketing oil prices will then temporarily push the US economy back into a recession. The economic downturn will be blamed on President Obama. A little war of gunboats in the Strait of Hormuz might just tip the economy back into 10 percent unemployment and convince enough voters that Obama and the Democrats controlling the Senate need to be flushed out with their votes in November 2012. A far more big business friendly Republican president and Congress in Washington would lead to a speedier dismantling of the US democracy in the name of smaller government.

Nevertheless, I believe this attempt by corporate forces will not be successful. The president will use his discretion in 2012 to attempt measured application of the Iranian sanctions. There may be a military incident in the Strait of Hormuz no later than June through August 2012. Even if there was a brief naval skirmish in 2012, it is only preliminary to the ultimate military showdown Nostradamus’ astrology seems to frame for the years 2015 and 2016.

Babies are easily distracted. The saber’s rattle of corporate interests might backfire when a baby’s attention catches upon something else that is bright and shiny, like a diplomatic breakthrough that only the threat of war might propel in the 11th hour concession from Teheran. Iran may take the enemy away from the military industrial complex pushers and surrender their nuclear weapon aspirations in 2012; or, at least achieve gaining some time in that tried and true Iranian tradition of diplomatic stalling.

Iran is a country that knows how to buy time. It has lasted for 3,000 years. However, if real diplomatic breakthroughs are not forthcoming in 2012, Iran is only buying time up to 2015 or 2016 when a terrible war showdown will come out of its skies and melt its fleets of motorboats in the Persian Gulf. Another fleet might be melted and sunk as well. Nostradamus leaves that potential open.

A conflict between Iranians and Western forces was certainly foretold in one of Nostradamus’ prophecies where he named the Strait of Hormuz outright by the name it held during the 16th century. We will examine the prophecy in my next article.

US Neo-Cons cackle and Israeli sabers rattle to the Netanyahu government drum beat for an imminent attack on Iran. The papers, like the Daily Telegraph in the UK pontificate bellicose bets on the Netanyahu government blasting of Iranian nuclear facilities before Christmas. Israel is a regional nuclear power quite capable and willing to preempt an end to an enemy’s infant nuclear program. They have done it before. Israel took out Saddam Hussein’s nuclear aspirations in a breathtaking, surprise attack. I wrote the following passage about it for my book Nostradamus: The War with Iran:

It was upon a lazy, sun basted late afternoon, a slow day, a Sunday, June 1981, that a skeleton crew of drowsy Iraqi security guards at Saddam Hussein’s Osirak Nuclear Reactor station a few miles north of Baghdad, might feel the first stirring of furnace desert air murmuring reports of distant thunders out of the West. It is not known if any guards or heat lulled crews of SAM missile or Triple-A anti-aircraft batteries dotting Osirak cared to look up and singe their retinas gazing past the late afternoon sun’s glare at its source. Anyway, it was the first year of the Iran-Iraq War. Air attacks came from the east. Radar officers phoned in no report. Somebody forgot to switch on the radars that day. If the Iraqi guards and gunners had turned around and faced the late afternoon glare they might have seen glinting spear points without misty shafts of contrails rise to 7,000 feet and suddenly bear down, quickening upon them, shot forward by jet engines at an attack speed of 600 knots.

It was at that moment that [Israeli Air Force] pilots began their attack run and beheld the stout, circular domed mass [of the French built Osirak nuclear reactor]…One F-16 after another swooped down on the undefended bulk… each releasing their two 2,000 pound Mark-84 Time-Delayed bombs at five-second intervals. [Osirak] shuttered and fell in on itself devoured in the mouth of great and thundering fireballs. Ten Iraqi guards and one attending French nuclear scientist shared the immolation. [The] Israeli force climbed unscathed and quickly to 40,000 feet heading west beyond the reach of uncoordinated salvos of Iraqi anti-aircraft fire lashing the empty sky with wildly whipping tracer lines of beaded flame.

Chapter Two: A RAYPOZ to Reflect

What is missing in the current threat of “imminent” attack by Israel? Something as loudly silent as can be amidst all the US NeoCon-niption fits to holler for war because of a yellow-caked up claim reminiscent of a false flag of threat that hoodwinked an American congress and people to invade Iraq that Iran tried to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador in Washington DC.

What is missing is not only loud with silence. The obvious is as absent as the empty sky widely filmed and Western-press promoted the other week as backdrop to a test firing of an Israeli regional ballistic missile. The hallow of the obvious reverberated with IAF aircraft on training bomb runs for Iran over the Mediterranean. The missing reality is something pushed against the wall and occulted by Netanyahu masquerading as the regional Winston Churchill of his day, trying to forestall the rise of Adolf Ahmadinejad Hitlerian Iran with the din of preemptive strike threats. The ballistic missile and bunker busting bluster is thick and Gafilta-fishy to those who can see what is missing in this most recently promoted picture of imminent war. If you can see what is glaringly missing then you, like me, will know exactly why there will be absolutely no attack on Iran come Christmas or any time soon.

What is missing is surprise.

The day Israel strikes Iran, the world will be caught completely off-guard be it months or several years from now.

It might happen when certain astrological windows for war open, as foreseen by Nostradamus, in 2015 and 2016, when he says, “Saturn and Mars are equally fiery.” In layman’s terms, war would suddenly erupt when the planet of the grim reaper of bad karma and the planet of war are both in fire signs, or better, in the same fire sign.

Century 4 Quatrain 67 reads:

L’an que Saturne & Mars esgaux combust,
L’air fort seiché, longue traiection:
Par feux secrets, d’ardeur grand lieu adust
Peu pluye, vent chault, guerres, incursions.

In the Year Saturn and Mars are equally fiery,
The air is very dry, a long comet:
From hidden fires a great place burns with heat,
Little rain, hot wind, wars and raids.

Nostradamus’ vision of a war against Persia (Iran) might envision a comet-like missile fall out of the dry desert skies. A time when great droughts speed the desertification of the Middle Eastern and Central Asian lands. The hidden fires of radiological isotopes for building atomic bombs secreted away in hidden Iranian installations suddenly burn with missile-issued heat lighting up the next great Persian Gulf War and subsequent Iranian terrorist reprisal raids on Israeli and American targets worldwide.

If this quatrain is indeed a vision of the long threatened and long awaited Israeli attack on Iran, there will be no bluster, no threats, no warning. Like the attack on Osirak, it will come with stealth penetrating Iran’s heavily defended airspace with no advanced, chest thumped out warning, like that that bellows from Netanyahu today.

If Nostradamus’ astrology in the future is forecasting the time of a complete surprise attack, it could initially happen around February and March of 2015 when Mars (god of war) is in Aries (the war sign) and Saturn (karmic black as an Ayatollah’s turban) is in the sign of the missile firing archer (Sagittarius). Otherwise, it happens sometime around September through October of 2016 when both planets of war and karmic retribution are in Sagittarius.

What is really going on these days behind all this smoke without a gun of “exposed” Iran plots? Yes, we hear of rumors of war as Christ would say, about a plot foiled to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador in the heart of Washington DC by Iranian-American operatives working with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Teheran. Where is the hard evidence? Is this going to become a lot of “Hebrew said Shia said” about the improvable?”

Give the world a Cuban Missile Crisis moment, Mr. Netanyahu. Adonai up your Adlai Stevenson at the UN and pull out poster sized photos of  Soviet missiles in Cuba. Let unquestionable evidence place Iranian-American cells in cahoots with Teheran run Revolutionary Guard leaders before you bluster bombing Iranian nuclear installations, irradiating millions.

Where there is smoke there is not always “fire”. Rather, there is a smoke screen for the real target of Israeli threats. There is a shield of myth making. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is presuming that he is Winston Churchill threatening to preempt the Iranian Hitler Regime, but I see someone else imitated for a completely different goal.

Netanyahu is playing Kim Jong Il’s game of war bluff.

The North Korean dictator repeatedly threatens to expand his nuclear weapons program. He test fires his scud missiles. He torpedoes South Korean naval corvettes and fires a few hundred artillery shells at South Korean fishing villages. Heck, he even may have enacted underground tests of a crude nuke from time to time, just to scare everyone outside of North Korea into thinking he has at last lost his marbles. Kim Jong’s mental illness may let slip a million man army on a suicidal offensive stampeding into South Korea to resume a war that has been on hold since an uneasy armistice signed by North Korea with the US and United Nations forces protecting South Korea since 1953.

Once Kim has scared the kimchee out of everyone in the Northwestern Pacific region, Kim backs off into silence. The No Dong scud missiles are zipped up and put away in their bunkers. A Pyongyang peace offering ensues. The K.J. Il tantrum is eventually followed by a quiet time out and the offering to negotiate a reduction of his nuclear armaments. This tantrum and talk game sometimes gets concessions like food aid for his starving people, etc., better cognac at $300.00 a bottle for the “Dear” Dr. Evil “Leader”.

This game of mad man bluff really works! Other leaders are learning the Kim Jong mental illness ploy.

Netanyahu is not bombing Iran right now or any time soon. He is targeting his allies with the threat of the unthinkable: a war with Iran. It would collapse the oil market. It would send the world into a depression and piss off one out of six human beings who happen to be Muslim into sending their sons to join a jihad against the West. Thousands of Iranians killed and irradiated from reactor meltdowns stemming from a brazenly aggressive surprise jet and missile barrage of the Israeli Air Force on Iran would be the catalyst.

Unless Netanyahu “hasn’t” actually gone as goofy as Kim Jong Il pretends, his goal with all this apocalyptic war talk is a new regimen of crushing economic sanctions from the world community that will financially hobble Iran from continuing its presumed nuclear weapons program.

Netanyahu knows, as I know and have been predicting for years, that sanctions can eventually work to end nuclear weapons proliferation in Iran. Sanctions might even take down the Iranian regime. Ahmadinejad’s government cannot long politically survive a few more years of economic hardship because of sanctions already in place.

Netanyahu wants to increase the pain. Ahmadinejad actually needs Israel to strike Iran so he can unite his people. The last thing Netanyahu wants is handing Ahmadinejad and Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, a cause rallying their people to a fever pitch of patriotic blindness and thus help them forget their economic woes and growing differences with the Islamic fundamentalist regime.

I predict this war with Iran is not imminent.

What if I am wrong, you ask?

If I were misreading the men and their signs in prophecy, if a war was to happen now or early next year, it would be a political and military disaster for Israel. It would be an economic disaster for the world, especially for the United States, their most powerful ally. A global call for sanctions on Israel might follow and the US might let it happen if unilateral Israeli attacks on Iran sabotaged the global economic recovery.

What profit would Israel gain?

Israel's nuclear option is called the "Samson Option" after the biblical Hebrew leader, Samson. He was blinded and put on show in the Philistine palace. Called upon Yehovah to give him one last blast of strength to push out the pillars and bring the palace down taking the Philistine royalty with him in an act of Kosher Kamikaze. If Israel's existence is truly threatened, it will use its 200 atomic weapons to take down its enemies.

The damage done to the Iranian nuclear aspirations would only delay the program’s progress for two years. If Iran had no aspirations before the attack to actually “make” a bomb – just to know how to make them if necessary – they will definitely seek nuclear war capability the second Israeli warheads bunker bust the first Iranian underground uranium processing factory before this Christmas Eve or early in 2012. Two years later, Iran would have atomic bombs by 2014 — a year before Nostradamus’ first of two astrological time windows for war: in 2015 and 2016.

Between now and 2014, harder economic sanctions will do more to end the threat of Iranian jihadist nuclear aspirations and not Israeli missiles falling out of the skies to set alight “hidden fires” burning with high explosive, then radioactive, then politically suicidal “heat”.

My article postings are only coming once a week because I am currently writing on average 4,500 words a day in a kind of writer’s “blitzkrieg” to get this new almanac of prophecies into the world for release in December. In the chapter entitled “Hot Crises in a Cold Depression”, I will expand on the theme of war with Iran being imminent and explain how though it seems war is almost inevitable I do not think it is likely next year for reasons I will explain in detail in the new book. What is planned for 2012 is a rearranging of US, NATO and Gulf Arab armed forces that will rename the “Persian” Gulf into the “Arabian Gulf” as Nostradamus foresaw it would be called when his foreseen war is presciently scheduled to erupt in 2015-2016.

UPDATE: November 9, 2011:

This article below was posted eight days ago on 2 November. As I read it again today, I see little reason to refresh the page because much of what I predicted back then is happening and further forecasts continue to happen in the developing story of the euro crisis, being that the financial farce of the Greek default crisis spreads uncertainty that Italy, as I predicted below last week, will be next.  Currently, governments in both countries are playing musical chairs, but their problems remain.

Italian leader, Berlusconi, pledges to to step down, but will a shuffling of politicians in Italy end the crisis? Doubtful.

What is also significant today is the fulfillment of Wall Street catching the euro union default cold with a significant market plunge of -389.24 points. Italy, the third biggest market in the Euro zone after Germany and France and the country with the third largest debt in the world is next. It would seem the Euro financial crisis is set to become the 11th catastrophe for the year 2011 happening in its 11th month. This may lead to the breakup of the Euro monetary union in 2012.

I am saving my oracle’s detailed prediction about this for a chapter about next year’s global economic fate, which I intend to publish in early December for Predictions for 2012. I am very busy with finishing that book right now, so it is with some dubious relief that the accuracy of my 2 November posting of this article (below) requires I pull myself away only for an hour to add this update today.

Before I get back to 2012, I must mention the other big news item: all the recent saber rattling over Iran because of the recent IAEA report that at least vindicates what my oracle said is Iran’s real effort, to at least gain enough knowledge through weapons experiments to someday build nuclear weapons. The capability to make such is still four years down future history’s road (see Nostradamus Iran predictions).

Israel bristles and threatens. Netanyahu, who once promised to strike Iran if made prime minister again,  ordered a successful test firing of a Jericho ballistic missile capable of striking Iran with conventional or nuclear warheads. He resumed drills of the Israeli  Air Force. Jet engines thunder over the eastern Mediterranean as they are once again put through bombing drills in a frequency not seen since 2006-2007. Many of you are asking, Is war imminent?

My answer is still no. The war is four years away, according to the astrology of Nostradamus’ prophecies about it. I am concerned though with astrological aspects in the summer of 2012 that might bring that window of war far closer than my oracle believes. You will read my augured findings when I publish my annual e-book  almanac, hopefully in early December, in a chapter entitled “Hot Crises in a Cold Depression”. November 1st was once the real Halloween (All Souls Day). It begins the month with a far scarier story of economic tricks in Europe running out of euro treats. Something I have been warning would be one of the next of 12 catastrophes of the year 2011.

There have been many upheavals this year but beyond that events that break some historic record or send history into uncharted territories not seen in living memory of people and in some cases even the memory of nations has taken place every month in 2012. The catastrophes have been natural, political, climate changed or economic disasters. For instance:

January: Queensland Australia inundated by monster floods, 200,000 people displaced.

February: Arab revolutions spread across the Middle East.

March: The fifth largest earthquake in recorded history; a 9.0 earthquake followed by a giant tsunami, rocks, then drowns then irradiates Japan in the island nation’s worst disaster since the devastation of the Second World War. The waves cause reactors at Fukushima to meltdown. Fukushima becomes the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl in 1986.

April: Catastrophic super-cell tornadoes kill hundreds across Alabama and the southern US States leaving behind death tolls and damage not seen since the 1920s.

May: the Mississippi River suffers worst flooding in 70 years. Two hundred thousand acres of prime farmland crops destroyed, Memphis flooded as well as the states of Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and large parts of Louisiana in the path of the damns on Mississippi levies opened to save New Orleans.

June: The Missouri River floods to record levels. Waters surmount sandbags at a nuclear reactor at Fort Calhoun, Nebraska and for a few hours America, nearly has its own Fukushima disaster. Mainstream new avoids the story.

July: Triple-digit, 100-plus degree Fahrenheit drought in Texas destroys its corn, wheat and peanut crops to an estimated $5 billion loss. North America’s summer-long heat waves by July have clocked 1,400 triple-digit record-breaking temperature reports across the US Midwest and Southwest. Some cities in Texas endure triple-digit temperatures for over 40 days straight

August: US leadership suffers a historic loss of credibility when a debate about the US debt ceiling being raised nearly saw the US government default on its debt on August 1. The consequences: the worst stock market drop since the Great Recession began in 2008 and the US losing its premium credit rating for the first time in its history.

September: A month of Historic floods! They inundate the Atlantic seaboard states and New England falling from the remains of Hurricane Irene. The following week a second wave of floods visit the same region from remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. Over in Asia Typhoon Roke sends storm surges and mudslides over the regions of Japan devastated by the March quake and tsunami. The floods across the US Atlantic states made the Irene-Lee event one of the ten costliest property damage disasters in US history.

October: Monsoon fury drenches Eastern India (as I predicted would happen in Predictions for 2011). Three quarters of Thailand were inundated in the nation’s worst natural disaster in its history.

Some of my American readers might argue that the rare and unseasonal Halloween Nor’easter blizzard sending millions of households in 15 Atlantic and New England States in the dark should be 2011’s disaster number 10 for October. Three climate changing punches to the US northeast: Irene, Lee now this! Moreover, 1.5 million homes across 15 states were still out of power when November came. Now even the right-wing climate change debunking, billionaire Koch brothers’ financed investigation into the world’s weirding weather has concluded that climate change is real and leading civilization to an uncertain sustainable future.

And now November’s big disaster… What will it be?

Perhaps it will be something I wrote about over a year before when preparing Predictions for 2011:

The contagion of a European bank crisis in 2011 could easily spread around the world infecting the interconnected US and Chinese banks. If Europe goes deeper into recession, it affects Chinese imports and US business. Wrestling with a zombie EU Bank crisis, European leaders will test the waters of austerity programs finding they make for a more shaky European banking system.

A Cold Depression, like a Cold War

Since writing the above, I have watched the global casino economies of Europe change the house rules of their gambling addictions to postpone an inevitable reality. Beware of Greeks bearing euros. Greece will default on its debt.

I have watched the markets fly into the stratosphere when the gaming pumped up the market with Trojan horse hopes only to plummet when the bubble of hope burst an Achilles’ tendon against mathematical realities. (Now there’s a mixed metaphor!).

Don’t get me wrong. I love Greece and its people but the Greek economic philosophy of live high and pay later (if at all) reminds me too much of the impossible schemes and scams of my favorite mythological man from Hellas, Zorba the Greek, all falling down into a great catastrophe worthy of celebrating afterwards with a dance on the beach. The Greek economy is a problem that cannot be salvaged. The people of Hellas will have to go, like Orpheus, bravely, playing music from a harp and dancing if possible, down into and eventually out of the darkness of Pluto’s economic underworld paying more than a few golden coins to the German bankers playing the boatman Charon for water taxi trip across the river Styx to debtor’s Hades.

Metaphorically speaking, Greece once had three pillars to hold up its Parthenon temple to the Goddess-bitch of excessive spending beyond her means. The first financial pillar – or pillory – sustaining the Modern Greek state was its heavily aided status as a bulwark for European nations against the spread of the Ottoman Empire. Then, after the Ottoman Empire collapsed at the end of the First World War, the Greeks once again became a bulwark after the Second World War, against the spread of communism. It eventually received billions throughout the long, and cold, war in US aid to shore up its economy and keep the commies out. Ship building was Greece’s second “pillar” sustaining it through the rest of the 20th century as was the third: tourism.

On comes the 21st century. The cold war had ended. Communism collapsed and with it, Greece stopped getting cold war aid. What about being a bulwark against Turkey once again? Tensions continued with Turkey, true, but the latter was a NATO ally and being wooed by the European Union. There goes the first pillar.

Greece by the time of the new century had lost its second pillar too, container ship manufacturing. That happens now in the shipyards of Asia and China.

That leaves one last pillar holding the completely rotten economic temple in the air, tourism and that pillar is not enough to keep the Greek economy from collapse.

So here are the hard facts that all Euro bankers and leaders must face eventually. Greece will eventually leave the monetary union. The immediate impact will be a financial haircut for other euro nations that invested in Greek banks to the tune of staunching the bleeding of the euro bank system with 400 billion euros. Once Greece has departed for Hades, the wealthier euro toting nations like Germany, Holland and France will have to find, or print another infusion of 2 trillion Euros to prevent Italy and Spain following Greece into Dante’s Inferno.

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has been so politically damaged by weeks of rioting in Athens and his midnight votes on EU union austerity cuts and taxes on his people that such draconian measures might lead to Greeks demanding a return to the drachma. He tossed the future of his government into the air this week by requesting an up or down referendum vote by the Greek people whether they want to stay in the euro union or return to the drachma. If the referendum happens at all it may not take place until January, leaving months of financial uncertainty for Europe and the global economy. The Greek people in general view the referendum with cynicism feeling damned if they do stay with the euro because that would lock in the austerity debt reduction programs, or damned if they don’t stay with the euro, for that brings default and economic collapse. Before any referendum can go forward, the Papandreou government may be soon out of a job because they face a no-confidence vote this Friday

Greeks rioted in Athens off and on since June 2011 over draconian austerity measures announced by their government to keep the country from economic collapse.

Rumor has it in Athens that the no confidence vote will be a Greek tragedy in the making, dooming the Papandreou government. Greeks will then gather to the ballot boxes on a temporary break from national strikes and rioting to vote in a new government with unknown consequences. The 17 nations using the euro currency wait for the no-confidence vote coming Friday. Papendreou’s defeat would threaten Greek default if voters reject his government. In the meantime, the euro’s value falls. Chinese manufacturing slows and as European bankers sneeze, Wall Street catches the cold depression with a nearly 300 point drop in the Dow Jones Tuesday, which together with Monday’s plunge totals one of the worst two-day drops since August 2011 when America lost its top credit status.

The disastrous black Monday and Tuesday market drops on Halloween and All Soul’s Day are perhaps a reaction in the markets to the first US investment bank casualty of euro uncertainty, MF Global, which filed for bankruptcy early this week after disclosing a euro debt of $6.4 billion. It is the seventh largest bankruptcy by assets in US history. Thus shares in Deutcshe Bank and JPMorgan, its chief creditors, took a dive at the news because MF Global owes them 2.2 billion. It smells like the beginning of a US banking crisis the likes of which happened in 2008, though this time caused by a financial crisis outside of America. MF Global may be the new Lehman Brothers causing a Lehman-like Lemming charge of bankster hamsters over the insolvency cliff if (when) Greece defaults.

A year ago, I wrote about the American economy’s susceptibility to a euro banking crisis as the key to a return to double-dip recession. I have described our current economic era as a Cold Depression. The global economy since the Great Recession began in 2008 is like a cold war in a standoff mode, perhaps for decades to come. Just one wrong move in the markets or in banking circles or in nations like Greece, or Italy defaulting on their debts can make along and cold depression go suddenly “hot” like the Great Depression of the 1930s. In my essay published on 21 December 2010, I pinpointed the Cold Depression’s economic hot spots that are comparable to regional hot spots one saw in the US-Soviet standoff of decade’s duration:

The new “Middle East” of a Cold Depression is the EU and the United States. The world will focus on them, obsess on their gridlocked stances on economic issues, etc. and worry that these monetary and industrial flash points can heat the whole Cold Depression hot for everyone else if the rest of the world doesn’t get more involved in helping them settle their disputes.

Cold Depressions will have “money wars”. The Fed tampering with US dollar devaluation and frictions about the Chinese Renminbi being too undervalued, are factors for economic crisis moving beyond the window I predicted opening in October 2010, deep into the times of 2011 to 2012.

2012 is coming. The Maya may have marked it as history’s real turn of the millennium. The rest of the prophetic time clocks may have been wrong by a dozen years. It certainly seems that way with euro banks foundering to riverbanks flooding, super-cell tornados rampaging. Typhoons hitting countries like the Philippines with a one-two punch in invasions of storm less than four days apart.

What is happening? Have the Mayan prophecies been vindicated or will we make 2012 one of the most significant years in human memory because of our actions leading to apocalyptic as well as revelatory reactions?

Right now my oracle has me feverishly working on a forecast for next year that will appear in my next new e-book Predictions for 2012.

There is a lot of sensational rumor leaking out of the FBI like a broken inkwell for thumbprints, black and obscure, very messy! Apparently an Iranian-US citizen acted as go-between on visits to Teheran with operatives of the al-Quds Revolutionary Guards to pay for and hire Mexican cartel hit men to cross the US border and assassinate the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. They would throw a bomb into his lunch plate at a crowded local restaurant in Washington DC then hurl bombs at the Israeli Embassy. The blood money pledged was ridiculously low for any Mexican cartel to reap the whirlwind of US retaliation, a mere 1.4 million bucks. That will get you  a sack of cocaine.

I have watched Iran since my Boeing 747 Air India flight made a memorable midnight run over the Persian Gulf during the first week of the Iran-Iraq War in September 1980 while I was on my way to meet Osho in India for the first time.

The details coming out of FBI agent’s mouths – and flummoxing Senators debriefed on 13 October by such – are as clouded as Octopus ink and it is just as fishy. The whole story stinks to me.

It stinks of right-wing elements in the US and Israeli governments waving a false flag. These elements would still like to see plan B of their strategic goals achieved even in an Obama first or second term. This newly “discovered” Iran terror plot sounds like a semi-fictional incident (like WMDs in Iraq). It is intended to distract people away from a growing Occupy Wall Street national now “international” movement and perhaps distract people’s attention in Israel away from the steady progress of the Palestinian Authority towards some form of sovereign status in the United Nations by “trick or treat” time – Halloween.

It seems like a good time for government back door propaganda to stifle dissent in America and Israel with an ultimate and nationally uniting action. Let us make up a war with Iran and in the venture take down its Islamic Fundamentalist Theocracy. This whole terror plot smells of shadow elements in the Israeli and American governments that would like to accomplish the destruction of the Iranian regime.

That aim has been the Zionist/Neo-Conservative agenda fomented by the former Vice President Dick Cheney as far back as 1992 when Cheney as editor and a future G.W. Bush deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, authored the Neo-Con movement’s first of many evolving manifestos published after the fall of the Soviet Union. These sought to convince Americans of a new enemy to sustain the military industrial complex of the US superpower after the end of the Cold War. After the Soviet colossus fell Iraq and Iran, modestly if fairly fit the bill. They both were radically governed nations bestride some of the largest oil reserves in the world that sustained the United States “and” Western civilization with crude oil. These rogue regimes, perhaps rightfully, had to go, either by economic pressure or through unilateral invasion if global consensus was not forthcoming.

The Neo-Conservatives moved from theory to power in 2001 with G.W. Bush’s administration initially crowding their number in top cabinet posts.

Bill Kristol is the current editor of the Weekly Standard and a number of Neo-Con papers including one published in September 2000 just before the Bush-Gore presidential debates musing about the need for a “Peal Harbor” event to advance Neo-Conservative agendas. Kristol, who like many Neo-Cons enjoys dual citizenship as an American and Israeli citizen, and who also think tanks for Israeli foreign policy, has called for open war with Iran saying about this recently exposed terror plot, “We have an engraved invitation.” Since 1998, Kristol lobbied for war with Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq and said a fortnight after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that “even if evidence does not link Iraq directly to the attack, any strategy aiming at the eradication of terrorism and its sponsors must include a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from power." Kristol advocated this stance in 2002 through early 2003 as a board member to the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq that lobbied hard to successfully convince Congress to vote G.W. Bush war powers to invade Iraq.

In 2000, a Neo-Con manifesto openly pondered the need for a “Pearl Harbor event” to hasten their goals. Surprise, surprise! They got one on 11 September 2001 with al-Qaeda’s aid. Now they had their national emergency and Congress grasped by its left or right leaning “balls.” The Neo-cons could make their puppet president do or say whatever they wanted because the hysteria of national unity stifled rational critics. By false flag WMD scares, they succeeded in 2003 taking down Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime. Iran was next.

US Plans for war studied and rehearsed from 2004 through 2006 were so brazen that I felt it was time to collect Nostradamus’ many references to a war in our future between Israel and America versus Iran because it seemed imminent. The first of two astrological windows for war were open during 2007. If the first closed, the next window would open in the near future in not far off 2015-2016.

In 2006, I began composing an e-book that matched up Nostradamus prophecies with the lightly veiled apocalyptic motives of leaders in the three potential combatant states. First in America’s highest office you have evangelical Christian war hawks in the Neo-Conservative cabinet of a president who famously said that “God” told him to invade Iraq and Iran was next. You had similar latter-day aspirations murmured by the Israeli cabinet and prime minister – some openly musing that war with Iran would be a portent for the Jewish Messiah soon to come. You had Iranian President Ahmadinejad loudly and notoriously proclaim his apocalyptic aspirations for Israel being “wiped off the map of history.” Even now the Iranian president opens every public speech, even before the United Nations, with a prayer for the return of the Mahdi. He is the 12th Imam, the final prophet who will reappear from his occultation to bring on an Islamic Armageddon that will take back al-Quds (the Iranian name for Jerusalem) and make the surviving Jews true believers of Islam.

The mainstream news as ever, overlooked the subconscious motivations beneath this three-way saber rattling for Armageddon. In early 2007, I deemed it was time to publish my findings about them and perhaps go on media outlets around the world exposing these prophetic motivations examining possible war scenarios of the 16^th century French prophet leading up to those purportedly recorded in the Hadith by Islam’s final prophet himself, Muhammad.

In that book Nostradamus: The War with Iran, I gathered a number of Nostradamus prophecies that pointed to a future military showdown with Persia (modern day Iran) by Western forces. These verses using contemporary names from the 16th century even mentioned the Persian Gulf and its narrow opening, the Strait of Hormuz, as the site of a future naval and air battles where a fleet will be “melted and sunk” by those of the “trident.”

As usual, there are layers to the riddles of Nostradamus’ wordplay. The seemingly obvious solution modern people might apply is a US “trident” class submarine that melts and sinks an Iranian surface fleet that consists of an armada of thousands of small boats — none of which are larger in tonnage than corvettes armed with a brace of Chinese silk missiles. Certainly the overwhelming force of Trident submarines or the hail of fiery death descending from missiles fired by US Navy carrier jets, cruisers, frigates and destroyers would be enough to “melt” and sink any suicidal attack by a flotilla of PT 109-pint sized Kamikaze craft piloted by Iranian Shahid (martyrs).

Indeed, Nostradamus may have named the US fleet obscured in another interesting word riddle. They are called “the True Serpent.” If you look down 4.5 centuries of Nostradamus’ future history of the world that has become our past, you will often find his riddles and descriptions using nicknames or flags flown by armies and or fleets of water and even air. For instance, we have “those of the Sun” in Century 5 Quatrain 11 of Nostradamus’ history of the future Les Propheties:

Mer par solaires seure ne passera,
Ceux de Venus tiendront toute l’Affrique:
Lure regne plus Sol, Saturne n’occupera,
Et changera la part Asiatique.

Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety,
Those of Venus will hold all of Africa:
Their realm will no longer be occupied by Sun (and) Saturn,
And the Asiatic part will change.

Reference to those of the Sun standing alone is open to many possibilities, but the reference to Venus (a code name for “Venice”) is often used by Nostradamus to describe fascist Italy during the Second World War. Though Italy had possession of Libya, Somalia and Ethiopia at the start of the war, they did not achieve control of Africa, unless this is one of Nostradamus’ alternative futures only partially fulfilled. Saturn’s color is as black as Italian Black Shirts and German Gestapo SS troops, symbols of Axis fascism

The Battle of Midway, by R.G. Smith. Three Japanese fleet carriers take direct and fatal hits from US Navy Dauntless dive bombers, turning the tide of the war on the Pacific Ocean in June 1942. "Those of the Sun will not cross the sea in safety," wrote Nostradamus 386 years earlier. Perhaps his vision foresaw the great red suns painted on the carrier decks?

Those of the “Sun” describe the third Axis ally: the Imperial Japanese fleet, visualized in Nostradamus’ nightly reveries in trance as dark gray warships flying the rising sun flag. The US Navy and the Army Air Forces would nearly sink the entire Japanese fleet in the Second World War. The fall of the Japanese empire forever changed Asia, ending its colonial hold and that of Western empires in a series of popular anti-colonial rebellions in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and also witness the rise of a sleeping giant, the People’s Republic of China.

The true serpent fighting the Persians in our future may be another reference to a naval flag. In my book about Nostradamus’ predictions for Iran, I said the following:

Every ship in this vast US armada flies the US flag and a US Navy Jack. Note that it is a flag with thirteen red and white stripes over which an American Rattlesnake crawls under the motto “Don’t Tread on Me!” It is only in recent times that all ships of the American Navy hoist this flag. On May 22, 2002, the U.S. Navy ordered all ships to display the First Navy Jack as long as the War on Terrorism continued. Ceremonies to raise the flag of the “true” serpent took place on every US Naval ship on 11 September 2002, the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the “Pearl Harbor” event that launched the world war of terrorism.

On some near future date, or perhaps as late as 2015, the “true serpent” will “invade” the waters of the Persian Gulf.

So, with that said, is war with Iran about to break out earlier than the astrological window of 2015-2016?

My answer is emphatic.

It is no.

Gaming out this news of an Iranian terror plot this week is a propagandized step towards such a war happening when the astrological aspects I described in detail in the book open the potential for conflict once again about four to five years hence. Indeed the Navy Jack takes on new symbolic significance.

The true serpent flag is also the symbol of the American Tea Party. Perhaps in 2016 there will be elected a president of the United States who is a member of that “true serpentine party”? How ironic it would be if the party that often promotes America pulling out of wars in the Middle East actually got their man or woman into the White House who then led America into its third and most disastrous war.

Another scenario would have President Obama in his second term, co-opted by a Tea Party controlled Congress who pushes him into signing on to Neo-Conservative aspirations for a war after years of negotiation with Iran went nowhere. It is a fact that Obama at present has chosen diplomacy first in his efforts to take Iran out of the nuclear arms race with Israel. However, he has left the apocalyptic door open that G.W. Occupy Wall Street Goes Global
This is not a movement of hippies, corporate media hacks and it is far bigger and more mainstream already than the Tea Party ever was. Occupy Wall Street keeps gaining momentum across the United States with polls showing 75 percent of Americans sympathetic or in full support of the movement. This weekend it spreads to “Occupy” movements across the world in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Three thousand gathered before the London stock exchange, and six thousand plan to camp, Ziccotti Park NY style, before the European Central Bank headquarter in Frankfurt. Demonstrations where held in 50 other German cities including 6,000 demonstrators in Berlin and 1,500 in Cologne. Thousands also gathered before banks and stock exchanges in Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong China and Tokyo Japan.

The demonstrations in the US are at last showing results politically with Secretary of Treasury and Secretary of State, Tim Geithner and Hillary Clinton sending clear signals Friday that more bank reforms are coming and must come.

On an ominous note, peaceful protests on Friday and today were eclipsed in Rome with widespread violence. The blazing cars, shattered shop, and bank glass windows of Roman streets can be the future of this movement around the world next year in 2012, because Italy is far closer to economic default. Politicians are running out of time if they do not legislate banking reforms before this peaceful global movement must get their attention by rioting.

Are Atlantic Tsunamis coming Next?

Tsunamis come in protest movements. Will they be coming as waves flooding the North Atlantic coastlines of Brazil, America and Europe? The windswept El Hierro Island in the Canary Island chain for months now has endured a significant earthquake swarm symptomatic of an imminent volcanic eruption. Unconfirmed reports of volcanic material floating off El Hierro’s coast might indicate a submarine eruption has begun.

In prehistoric times a large piece of El Hierro sloughed off into the Atlantic no doubt causing a catastrophic tsunami. The satellite photos showing a green subsea plume of a purported fissure in the island’s undersea shelf on the south side may presage an underwater landslide that might cause a tsunami, though I doubt it would generate any to match the previous monster wave that raged off its northern shore in prehistoric times.

This situation deserves watching, but some websites are practicing prophetic hyperbole by inaccurately comparing El Hierro to its larger volcanic island neighbor Las Palmas as the same, even in photos used. For now, Las Palmas is inactive, so those of you who think a 130-to-160-foot wave will crash into the US eastern seaboard eight hours after an imminent landslide are mixing your mega disaster metaphors and islands. Moreover, most of El Hierro’s tsunami energy would go south to the West African coast all the way to Antarctica, not west, if we were talking about Las Palmas.

I consulted my oracle about El Hierro. In the worst case scenario a tsunami might arise as devastating to other Canary Islands as that which flooded Japan in March of 2011. The main visitations with sporadic harbor and coastal damage like what was experienced in the Hawaiian Islands and Santa Cruz California from the Japanese tsunami would range along the sparsely populated Western Sahara southwards to the Mauritanian coast down to the city of Dakar, in Senegal.

My oracle at this point does not see a major tsunami coming out of a future eruption of El Hierro. It is much more concerned with El Hierro’s volcanism triggering a Las Palmas eruption causing half the geologically unstable, western coastal mountainside of the island to suddenly slip into the Atlantic. Such an event would be a civilization-changing catastrophe sending a tsunami up to 160 feet high roaring 4.5 miles inland over the coasts of Brazil, French Guyana, Surname, Guyana, east Venezuela, the Caribbean islands of the Lesser Antilles, and the US Atlantic seaboard!

Europe would also be hit by significant tsunamis between 16 and 23 feet high, nearly as destructive as those inundating the Honshu coastal towns and Sendai airport, would visit Ireland, Iceland, England, France and Spain. The Canary Islands and the nearby mainland coastline of southwestern Morocco and the neighboring nation of Western Sahara might witness a tsunami flood 300 feet high!

The Truman Carrier Strike Group passes through the Suez Canal. It includes the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman with embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW 3) and guided missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) as well as Aegis-equipped destroyers USS Winston Churchill (DDG 81), USS Milius (DDG 69), USS Ross (DDG 71), USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) and German frigate FGS Hessen (F221). The Strike Group passed through the Suez Canal entering the Fifth Fleet area of responsibility, which includes the Persian Gulf on 18 June. Debka.com would like to enlarge this move to mean that war with Iran is imminent; however, the US Navy reports that the Truman Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is relieving the Dwight D. Eisenhower CSG as part of a routine rotation of forces. Sometimes when I explore Debka.com, their articles read like this satirical photoshop-altered picture (above, right) of five practice-Iranian missile launches morphed into a chaotic swarm.

A lunar eclipse today in the sign of Capricorn cavorted with a squared gathering of planets Uranus conjoined with Jupiter in Aries. Saturn, not far off in final degrees of earthy, wakey-quakey Virgo might tremble the world a bit on its way to oppose Uranus and Jupiter under next month’s grand T square of Pluto in Capricorn. It is not surprising therefore that a major earthquake hit the world on this Full Moon time: a 7.1 magnitude to be exact, in the Solomon Island region.

The more likely portend of a massive quake somewhere along the vulnerable spots I mentioned in a recent blog (see earthquakes) will come a full moon month away from now. Prepare yourself in seismic regions with large human populations a week before and a few weeks after the Full Moon in Aquarius on 26 July 2010. Around that time, Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Aries is retreating in the first degrees of retrograde, thus sharpening the magnification of its exact opposition with Saturn in Libra over which Pluto in Capricorn — and also retrograde — grandly squares through early August. If seismic activity should rock and tsunami wave roll our world or burst a volcanic gush of lava, or of oil, or send sneak Semite sorties to blast Persian reactors, this would be the astrologically sensitive time.

I do not predict Israel will attack Iran this summer. I hold to that despite sensational reports emanating from URLs that over time have proven themselves mouthpieces for the psyops of US, al-Qaeda and Israeli intelligence. Chief among these web sites is Debka.com.

I rate web intelligence sources carefully over many years, checking their reports with objective outcomes. Debka.com consistently takes real intel, that I can track mostly to Mossad, Israel’s CIA, and purposefully draws exaggerated conclusions. One of the best boondoggles of the last decade from Debka was a report that divisions of Chinese soldiers took part in helping the Afghani Northern Alliance fight the Taliban in late 2001. The Chinese may have shipped some weapons over their mountainous and narrow border with Afghanistan but not tens of thousands of troops.

Another more topical case in point of real facts being blown out of proportion is what Debka has fomented in the past week. It is true that US and Israeli Special Forces have personnel monitoring Iran in Azerbaijan along its southern border with Iran. It is also true that units of the Iranian armed forces and those belonging to the independent military wing of the (IRGC) Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps have moved up to the border with Azerbaijan. The Debka assessment is at the very least geared to scare the Iranians and many of my readers into believing “a state of war” exists on Iran’s northern border. If the phrase matched fact that would imply a large US and Israeli armed force with boots on the ground, tank turrets on the swivel and bomber jets on the drop are bombing Bam to Teheran from Baku air bases.

There is no state of war. A state of war means combat and a US-Israeli land invasion, air forces blasting and scattering IRGC units. If Israel and the US had suddenly infiltrated massive forces in Azerbaijan they did so out of a Debka computer keyboard. Now to the facts. A burgeoning alliance between the US and Israel with the former oil-rich Soviet Republic on the Caspian Sea has been developing for years. US and Israeli Special Forces use modest bases in Azerbaijan to arm and train Iranian Azerbaijani secessionists. US and Israeli commandos have even directly infiltrated the northern Iranian border since 2005.

The Bush administration began what the Obama administration continues: a low key, cold war style, US-Israeli shadow war with Iran. They do this in response to Iran’s war with surrogates waged against US forces occupying Iraq. Iranian IRGC advisers and special commandos armed and trained Hezbullah’s rocket units in Lebanon up to and during their rocket barrage war in 2006. Iran provided advice and weapons to Hamas in the Gaza Strip more recently in its rocket war against Israel in late 2008 through early 2009.

The US and Israel have used Azerbaijan to aid Azeri separatist. The US infiltrates Iran’s eastern borders with Afghanistan to incite the same aspirations for rebellion in Iranian Baluchi populations. For more information about this shadowy war, see Nostradamus war with Iran.

Debka in this week’s state-of-war articles will not remind you of this ongoing shadow war in their fit of hyperbole as facts. They do not moderate their language with the Azeri government’s official line that no invasions or air attacks will be allowed from their airspace. Debka will spin for all its worth two little Israeli vessels flying flag with the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Force now approaching Iranian waters. They will not remind you that a big show of US carrier fleets parading up and down the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz happens regularly since 2006. It is done so to rattle the nerves of Iranian’s Revolutionary regime and show how powerless and isolated it is and will be if it keeps going down the path to build nuclear weapons.

Debka will not moderate their exited conclusions with a well-known fact that two US presidents have menaced Iran’s borders and waters for political reasons four years and counting with upwards of sometimes three carrier strike groups patrolling at one time off Iranian waters along the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. The Iranians usually counter this show with their own naval, air and land forces maneuvers and threats.

Anyone who lived through the Cold War between the US and Soviet Union can recognize a smaller scale replay in the Middle East of what had been decades of surrogate conflicts military menace and shows of phallic missile prowess between Commie and Capitalist superpowers. It is a dangerous game being played to the hilt by Israel and the US against the Ayatollah Regime of Iran in a regional Cold War waged since 2005.

That does not mean there is no war coming. That does not mean that one side is egging the other to fall into the trap of starting a military incident that could make this smoldering Cold Iran-Israeli-US War flare suddenly hot. What Debka and the Mossad will not tell you is that all of this military show and signs of potential menace is meant to scare Iran to the talks table and accelerate efforts to raise international sanctions against it. The menace of potential war is meant to put the fear in Iran’s friends, Russia and China, to pressure Ahmadinejad’s government in Teheran to make concessions and dial back progress in suspected nuclear aspirations hiding behind a mask of a civilian nuclear program.

The hotter heads of Debka and Mossad would like to propagate sensational conclusions as bait to trip a trap — an Iranian misstep — an incident that could trigger a war and a rapid Israeli air strike. This is not the first time both sides sought and got a few shots fired across the bow of the other. In December 2007 US naval forces fired on Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz. Israeli and American administrations past and present might seek to push Iranian forces into an incident this summer, but the Iranians are too clever to take the bait. There will not be an Israeli air strike on Iran. There will not be a US-Israeli invasion of Iran via Azerbaijan.

Health Care Passed

Assessment
Do you remember how impossible that sounded at the end of 2009? Health Care reform was stymied in Congress, and presumed dead on arrival to the Senate. Yet it did pass into law in the latter half of March 2010.

A Hyper trade glitch in Wall Street Computers

“Main Street’s woes aren’t Wall Street’s concern. The Dow will rise like a soap bubble in 2010 and the great blow job trading will increase its wind speed through the power of greed harnessing the information revolution until the volume of trading at a clip of 186,000 miles-per-second means liquidity can’t catch up leading to the next Wall Street meltdown by the end of the year.”

Assessment
A trading computer glitch on 7 May 2010 caused a 980-point crash because someone or some electronic “thing” typed in billion rather than million into the super fast hyper stream of data. It was the single worst single-day market plunge in history. Could this be a prelude to yet another “tilt” in light-speed trading in October?

New Era of Lone Wolf Jihadist Terrorists hit the American Homeland

“At the time of this writing (27-28 October), 2009 has a few months left. It may yet witness terrorist attacks in America adopting the new strategy of lone wolf, indigenous jihadists using homemade IEDs and store bought guns to shoot up subways and malls.”

Assessment
In the month that followed writing the above, US Army Major Nidal Hasan killed and wounded over 32 soldiers while on a shooting rampage in Fort Hood Texas after seeing the jihadist light. On Christmas Day 2009, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab better known as the underpants bomber, tried unsuccessfully to light off explosives in his undershorts to bring down Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on landing approach into Detroit. On a humid and hot May Day 2010, Pakistani-American Faisal Shahzad parked his car bomb in the heart of Times Square. Fortunately the bomb malfunctioned. Recently, while under interrogation the Pakistani expat threatened that many more domestic attacks were coming from lone loon US jihadists.

Challenges to our common future are happening faster in 2010 than mainstream politicians and the so-called experts predicted

Assessment
The US debt bomb, the PIIGGS Euro Problem, a housing bubble in China, an uptick in violent climate change induced weather bringing estimates of climate tipping points forward. This already is the theme of 2010 in its first half. And the Hurricane Season in a Gulf of Mexico awash in oil slicks is just around the corner. Prepare for the oily tropical storm surges blanketing the gulf coasts miles inshore.

A Quiet Atlantic Hurricane Season?

“The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season won’t throw wave after wave of tropical storms at the Gulf States and Florida like the year of Hurricane Katrina’s devastation in 2005. The quality if not the quantity of hurricanes will visit upon America the kind of devastation not seen since Hurricane Andrew just missed flattening Miami on its storm track over Homestead Florida in 1992.”

So far, in the first month the season is quiet in the Gulf of Mexico. We have a long way to go and the first tropical storm (Alex) has appeared east southeast of the Mexican Caribbean coast. It may pass into the Gulf over the Yucatan peninsula; however it appears that it will veer to the northwest, far away from the oil spill.

What will the average price of oil by the barrel be in 2010?

“Some business forecasters expect a rise above $100-a-barrel price in 2010. The safe bet is around $58 a barrel according to the Energy Information Administration. I foresee an aggregate average of around $74 a barrel inching to triple digits in the latter half of 2010.”

Assessment
The average price in first half of 2020 was around $74, but will triple-digit oil be next?

Last things first. A number of my readers this year have been asking if I wish to reverse myself on the following forecast made in Predictions for 2010, signed off on 1 November 2009: “The Israeli Netanyahu government signaled after the Hebrew New Year (Yom Kippur) that it would hold to an end-of-year deadline before considering a military option to put out the reactor fires of the Iranian nuclear program which it suspects is a front for building a nuclear arsenal to eventually match their own. President Obama himself has not taken a military option with Iran off the table…

“Will the new year bring warplanes from Israel setting fire to Iranian nuclear facilities?

“No.

“I am happy to announce some breathtaking positive news. The window for an Israeli-Iranian war has closed in 2010 and it won’t open again for the next five years.”

I am told by some of you that futurologists (those who extrapolate future events from measurable trends) believe it obvious that war between Iran and Israel is imminent. They cite Saudi Arabia granting Israel permission to use a narrow corridor of air space near its northern frontiers to send waves of jet bombers on a short and faster root to blast Iranian nuclear installations than around the Arabian Peninsula. Just last week the Egyptian government allowed two small Israeli naval vessels transit through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea. Egypt had earlier allowed an Israeli U-Boat (a German built Dolphin Class submarine) passage to and from the Persian Gulf via Suez. This U-Boat is believed to carry cruise missiles tipped with nuclear warheads. An Israeli sub off the Iranian shores of the Persian Gulf, along with surface vessels in tow with US Naval units aims to show that Israel can extend its naval reach right to Iran’s doorstep. It sends a message that at any moment Israel can launch a retaliatory nuclear strike on Iranian cities and nuclear reactors with atomic weapons Israel does not officially says it has.

Is war imminent? Has my oracle got it wrong as some of you wag in the comments sections of my blog?

Here is my answer: There will be no war between Iran and Israel before the mid-decade.

All the saber rattling, all the little flotilla posturing and certainly the air space permission of the Saudis is not something new. The Saudis regularly renew Israel’s permission to fly their warplanes over their airspace since July 2009. Secret deals by Mossad’s spy chief Meir Dagan or covert arrangements by a succession of CIA chiefs with the Saudis, Iraqis or the Turks to provide their airspace to Israeli surgical strikes on Iran have been either under discussion or secretly approved ever since the Bush administration started drawing up plans for a strike on Iran after they invaded Iraq in 2003. Though a new man sits in G.W. Bush’s seat in the Oval Office President Obama is not completely closing the door to the last administration’s Neo-Conservative strategic agenda. Plans to take Iran down have ever had bipartisan support in US Congress as far back as 1992 when Paul Wolfowitz authored and Dick Cheney edited the first essays on how American foreign policy needed to define and depose new threats from rogue regimes in a post-Soviet, post-Cold War. The idea to strike Iran was floated around in Washington long before these and other apostles of Neo-Conservatism crowded the G.W. Bush cabinet. You will find that many purveyors of Neo-Conservatism are also staunch Zionists even possessing duel citizenship. During the Bush era, Neo-Con think tanks were openly advising Washington “and” Jerusalem with their expert political and military scenarios engaging Iran.

As far back as early 2007, I published an eBook collecting many of Nostradamus’ astrological and prescient visions about a future war with Iran. (See Nostradamus Iran predictions.) I took the reader through an evolution of Neo-Con thinking from 1992 up to early 2007 detailing the intimate connection and shared intent of right wing US and right wing Zionist leaders and policy makers, attempting to forge a US foreign policy that matched the aims of Israeli foreign policy and strategic agendas. One cannot blame Israel, a small country in a hostile region, for seeking to dictate US policy. It is no different really than its chief rival, Iran, trying to influence the policy and strategic goals of Israel’s enemies surrounding her borders.

I elaborated in Nostradamus: the War with Iran that Israel has long kept at least one of its Dolphin Class submarines on station 24/7 in the Persian Gulf since 2006, after Iranian President Ahmadinejad made his notorious statement that Israel should be erased from the map of history. Moreover, though it may be news to many of you, the fact is the Saudis fear and loathe the Iranian Ayatollah regime far more than they do the right-wing Zion-supremacist regime of Netanyahu. In my eBook and blogs over the years, I have described large-scale Saudi civil defense drills regularly practiced in tandem with Israeli drills since 2005 onwards to rehearse national responses to retaliatory Iranian missile attacks after an Israeli air strike. Some of these Saudi rehearsals openly prepared fallout drills for towns and massive oil distillation facilities in the northeastern corner of the kingdom. They are thought to prepare for the eventuality that a cratered Iranian reactor dome should send plumes of radioactive clouds across the Persian Gulf from the nearby Iranian nuclear facility at Brushehr, scheduled for activation in the summer of 2010.

Let me make this clear, Israeli demonstrations of planes, vessels in Suez shipping lanes and Dolphin submarine cruise missile nukes on auto mobile launch command mode does not construe imminent war. These actions are a kind of “language”, albeit brinkman bunt, directed at Iran’s regime to contain it in a regional Iranian-Israeli Cold War. The Egyptians have a treaty with Israel for decades granting them access to the Suez Canal as long as their warships do not strike Egypt. Egypt’s Sunni Muslim population and Sunni President Mubarak is no friend of Shiite Persians constructing a nuclear arsenal. Neither are the Saudis. Granting Israel attack jets passage through their airspace sends a strong signal to the Iranian regime to forego further work on their nuclear weapons program because the Shiite Persian Muslim missiles pointed at a Jewish State will just as easily be pointed at Sunni Arab states requiring the Saudis saddle up their own nuclear weapons program to deter Iran.

Iran’s nuclear weapon aspirations mind you are more bluff than solid fact. Meir Dagan, head of Mossad since 2002, has stated clearly in early 2009 his belief that Iran will not have the means to build and deliver an atomic bomb until the middle of this decade.

President Obama is not seeking the military option just yet and will continue pressuring sanctions and tacit support of Saudi and Israeli demonstrations of strength. Unless the Netanyahu regime has lost its marbles and are aiming to take out the reactor at Bushehr before it goes online later this summer, this could not be a worse time to unilaterally strike Iran. Relations with Israel’s best regional friend, Turkey, are on the rocks because of a heavy-handed suppression of blockade-runners into Gaza this June. Israel’s alliance with the United States is not in good shape. It is time to mend bridges with Israel’s only real superpower friend in the world, not burn them further with a Bushehr military blunder.

One reads in Israeli newspapers a growing call to war against Iran and in some cases there are Zionist zealots openly writing that Israel striking Iran and thus becoming isolated from support by the rest of the world fulfills prophecies concerning the advent of the Jewish messiah, thus worldwide repudiation as a militant pariah is happily lobbied.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Lieberman might sympathize with such extreme views of Jewish eschatology but I do not think they are stupid enough to go it alone solely on anticipated divine approval or invitation of messianic advent. (See more about prophecies of a Jewish messiah). The Israelis will give Obama time because they have no other option short of going to war without US support. They will wait to see if a more sympathetic and hawkish Republican will unseat Democrat Obama in 2012. They know as I know that is a long shot. Mossad and the Netanyahu regime believe Obama will tire of diplomatic efforts sometime in his second term after years of getting nowhere. Then Israel will get the green light to strike Iran just before it becomes capable of constructing a workable warhead by mid-decade. They might not need jets by that time. I see the walls of Iranian reactors falling in a rain of Jericho III ballistic missiles.

The basis for this mid-decade time window relies on an interpretation of Nostradamus’ clearly defined astrological window for war with Iran.

In Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the time for possible air strikes has many astrological references. One of these suggests in Century 4 Quatrain 67, that:

L’an que Saturne & Mars esgaux combust,
L’air fort seiché, longue traiection:
Par feux secrets, d’ardeur grand lieu adust
Peu pluye, vent chault, guerres, incursions.

In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery,
The air is very dry, a long comet:
From hidden fires a great place burns with heat,
Little rain, hot wind, wars and raids.

The Latin combustus adds apocalyptic nuance to the old French combust. That which is equally fiery equally burns, consumes, ruins and destroys equally two aggressors — perhaps Israel and Iran in a future war. The old French traiection is from the Latin trajectio: describing a shooting star, meteor, or a comet. A missile in modern terms. Hidden fires inside Israeli nuclear warheads on Jericho III ballistic missiles or on cruise missiles launched by Dolphin Class submarines burn the far larger target, Iran (great place) with atomic heat. The Latin adustus specifically means burned or scorched by the sun from the French incursions. In other words, raids, surprise attacks or offensives. This not only implies a surprise Pear Harbor-like strike coming from Israel but also in modern terms an Iranian backed terrorist attack using either a radiological dirty or an atomic weapon on Tel Aviv warranting Israel’s full retaliatory strike of biblical proportions. (Think Amalek.)

Nostradamus loved double entendre so we cannot rule out his describing a future time indicating global climate warming so extreme in such marginally arable regions like the Middle East that war comes from regional disputes over water rights. Even the Book of Revelation (Chapter 9, verses 14-15) describes the final battle of Armageddon taking place when the Euphrates River dries up. Currently water flow in the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers falls inexorably towards critical levels through Syria and Iraq because Turkey dams their headwaters to quench the thirst of its own growing water needs. I have been warning about the threat of Armageddon when the waters dry, since 1990, see Millennium Prophecies. Such a collapse of Middle Eastern river systems or further overuse of the Jordan River by Israel and Jordan, or Palestinians and Jews exhausting the West Bank aquifers, could make climate change related wars there just a few years ahead. The 2020s will certainly see its share of resource and climate change wars when Uranus begins a long earth-and-civilization shaking transit of Taurus whilst Pluto shifts its generational upheavals by 2024 to violent and sudden revolution at the beginning of a long, 20-year transit through the sign of Aquarius.

The most important element of Nostradamus’ prophecy is the astrological dating suggested in line one: “In the year when Saturn and Mars are equally fiery.” That means the two planets are in fire signs, preferably the same fire signs. The aspect was active during a window for war that closed when Saturn finished its transit in the fire sign of Leo in September 2007.

Three years ago I explained on page 123 of Nostradamus: The War with Iran, the next time war threatens Iran when Mars and Saturn are “equally fiery”:

“Mars will enter Leo when Saturn is in Sagittarius on far off September 2015. They will not share the same fire sign until the following year. Retrogrades of both planets make for the next rare and unusually magnified interlude of equal fire signs of war from March through May 2015 and again from August through September 2016. It is possible the scenarios of war with Iran written in this book in the spring of 2007 may better reflect a US-Iranian conflict joined in battle nearly a decade from now.”

Now to first things last…Mabus

The other stir of excitement among Nostradamus prophecy watchers last week was President Obama appointing his current Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus to head the commission looking into what went wrong causing the BP Deepwater Horizon rig fire, sinking and catastrophic oil spill. He is said to become the “Gulf Czar” responsible for the oil slick cleanup and restoration of the US Gulf of Mexico coastline, fisheries and tourist industries. Once again, this capable former governor of Mississippi and able US ambassador to Saudi Arabia rises into the limelight of public attention begging for a prophetic explanation. Ray Mabus just so happens to have a surname that is an exact match for the one Nostradamus uses to mask the name of his foreseen third and final Antichrist. The night I appeared on Coast to Coast AM last Wednesday (16 June 2010) was alive with questions about Mabus’ appointment, causing host George Noory and me to spend the bulk of the second hour of three discussing what the appointment of Secretary Mabus to Gulf Czar Mabus might foretell.

Here again is the famous Nostradamus prophecy from Century 2 Quatrain 62:

Mabus puis tost alors mourra, viendra,
De gens & bestes vne horrible defaite:
Puis tout à coup la vengeance on verra,
Cent, main, soif, faim, quand courra la comete.

Mabus very soon then will die, [then] will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

I will share this with you today. Whoever Mabus is, whether his true name hides in the right decoding of the anagram Mabus or if he is an actual man named “Mabus”, what follows in the quatrain are the consequences hatching out from his death: an unraveling of the world of people and animals. Global droughts and famines, a war of a hundred nations when a comet marks his passing or a comet-like missile falls from the sky launching the third world war.

Quatrain 77 of Century 8 takes up the story adding more details about Mabus as the Third Antichrist, the link being that Mabus, like 8 Q77′s Third Antichrist are soon and early on annihilated causing apocalyptic consequences:

L’antechrist trois bien tost annichiliez,
Vingt & sept ans sang durera sa guerre:
Les heretiques morts, captifs, exilez,
Sang corps humain eau rogie gresler terre.

The Third Antichrist very soon annihilated,
Twenty-seven years his bloody war will last.
The heretics [are] dead, captives exiled,
Blood-soaked human bodies, and a reddened, icy hail covering the earth.

It is a heavy trip to unload on a man the label Antichrist who may by freak coincidence appear to be named outright by Nostradamus in a prophecy written over 4.5 centuries ago. It is not surprising therefore, that Ray Mabus first came to my attention in the mid-1990s when President Clinton picked him to be his ambassador to Saudi Arabia. No wonder many readers wrote me about the appointment. A guy named Mabus posted to the Middle East — the very region from which many believed the Third Antichrist either is born or to which he enters from the West. One then anticipates his fall through assassination as first casualty in a 27-year war, causing an unraveling or collapse of civilization and of ecological balance (a horrible undoing of people and animals).

Back in 1995, I answered those many letters with the following statement in Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies (published in 1997). “At this time I don’t sense anything malevolent about the ambassador, but this gives me the opportunity to look at yet another angle to the Mabus enigma. The ambassador may not be the Antichrist but a victim of such. Since the November 1995 car bombing of a US-run military training facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has ended its long exclusion from terrorist acts. From now on Ambassador Mabus has a dangerous assignment and I wish him well. I would not like to see him become the target of a future Gavrilo Princip and have his assassination trigger World War III.”

The best-laid names in Antichrist detective work can go nowhere. By the time the book was finally published with my observations, Ambassador Mabus had left Saudi Arabia without fanfare or prophetic significance, retiring from public service in 1996. Yet a decade later, he came back to my attention in late 2007 as Senator Barack Obama’s unpaid expert on Arab, Middle Eastern relations as well as the head of Obama’s Democratic primary campaign in Mississippi in 2008.

At that time I made the following prediction in my eBook Nostradamus and the Antichrist, Code Named MABUS: “If Obama wins the presidency, the handsome and engaging Raymond Edwin Mabus may serve in his cabinet. Perhaps he will return as some special envoy to the Middle East and start doomsday tongues to wag about the return of the man who is Mabus to the region of the Third Antichrist.”

President Obama rewarded Ray Mabus with the cabinet level post of Secretary of the US Navy. Though not yet a special envoy in name to the Middle East, Mabus at present oversees 900,000 US Navy and Marine service personnel, a majority of which have been deployed to the Middle East. Mabus has frequently returned to that theater. Moreover, Obama has made him a special envoy for the Gulf Region’s recovery once (if) the BP oil spill gushing a volcanic flood of between 60,000 to what some now believe is 100,000 barrels of oil a day is plugged. It is doubtful to me that he can fulfill both jobs effectively at once and we may be seeing the able Secretary Mabus suffer in his work from yet another botched executive decision from a charming president who has come to his destiny too soon with hardly any tested executive skills prior to his election in 2008.

rsonally do not believe Secretary Mabus is the Antichrist. I think the name is a code hiding the real name of one Nostradamus intended. Still, as a scholar of prophecy, I must look beyond my own personal feelings and paint a larger prophetic picture. As you will find out by reading my eBook on Nostradamus’ Antichrist prophecies, they are clues to a mystery with many leads heavily pointing to someone from the Middle East as prime candidate. Moreover, I explain a possibility never before published. Nostradamus may have been confused by what he saw while entranced. Mabus and the Third Antichrist may be two different people in a destined collision. Not only does Ray Mabus have his name but Barack Obama’s surname easily code crunches out of Mabus if it is an anagram, as the book demonstrates. So also does his chief jihadist nemesis, Usama bin Laden.

Osama versus Obama, the latter of which has special envoy to the Gulf and Secretary of a heavily engaged Navy in the Middle East named Mabus. It is enough to confuse and misread the signs of any augury.

Indeed Ray Mabus, a physically fit and mentally sharp man in his early 60s may someday become a president of the United States. Anything is possible in this decade defined by Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in explosive Aries transits. I personally do not consider him an Antichrist figure, but he keeps coming back into view and now in his most significant, worldwide-scrutinized role to date. The prophecies of Nostradamus focus on key events and people that can change the course of destiny. I will and I think all Nostradamus watchers will have to regard the progress of Raymond Edwin Mabus more closely than ever before in the coming years.

Pluto and its moons: Charon, Hydra and Nix.

When astrology reads history’s inclination through the stars, the planet Uranus, ruler of the 20-century long Aquarian Age in which we are gradually entering, stands for individual and/or collective revolutionary change if favorably aspected with other signs and planetary configurations. Uranus defines an era’s zeitgeist of freedom and responsibility or licentiousness and false entitlement if negatively aspected. Uranus represents either change toward reform or a descent into chaos. While Uranus and other planets perform their influential roles, they do so underpinned by astrology’s farthest flung planet with Astrology’s farthest perspective, its largest overview. Spring unexpectedly as it might out of Uranian slogans that guided Barack Obama into the White House, Change we can Believe in will become changes that are permanent according to Pluto’s transit of the sign Capricorn, defining a generational era depending on how they are colored by the ruler of human collective transformation.

Shakespeare wrote, “All the world is a stage and we are but the players.” If the bard of Stratford on Avon had been an astrologer, he might say instead, “All the planetary players over stand and often overstep to their own peril a stage that Pluto designs.” The “stage,” or better, the “age” is the thing. Today we stand upon Pluto’s “age” of Capricorn design, one of 12 ages made by the 12-to-30 year transit of Pluto through the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

Let us review the last 71 years of astrology-staged activity under Pluto.

If our performing planets bombed during Pluto’s sojourn through Leo (1939-1957), they bombed atomically when Pluto made the Leo “sun” split its atom on the earth. If they got “bonged” during Pluto’s transit through Virgo (1957-1972), they did so psychedelically, as Virgo’s mass interests in mind-body health and discernment sought to expand mass consciousness in the 1960s and early 1970s. Pluto in Virgo gave birth to a collective awareness as well that health of the planet should be considered. A sense of collective ecological responsibility emerged for the first time across the world in green movements, green parties, conceiving at its closing curtain eco-message movies like Soylent Green, and rock operas like Olias of Sunhillow.

Pluto in Libra (1972-1983) put all planets on a razor’s edge egging on nations pitted in a Cold War nuclear arms race to find pause and reflection. Thus humanity moved collectively towards Détente and nuclear disarmament treaties. China made the first jump of its great leap forward out of ruinous Maoist cultural revolutionary chaos to an ordered, breathtaking, free-market transformation we see culminating today.

Pluto got dangerously Scorpionic (1983-1995). Regenerate or die, my world. Have that Cold War go hot or die with a whimper and a Berlin Wall falling.

Pluto shot its arrow of Sagittarius (1995-2008) and we all saw its prey falling down in boiling debris clouds as mass mind moved by Pluto to the darker side of Sagittarius potential: religious extremism, Moral Majorities, al-Qaeda shooting World Trade Center towers with hijacked jet arrows. God talking to presidents of the US and Iran. The Middle East leaders wax eschatological while unilateral American Crusaders in Iraq dodged the IEDs, because God told Bush to invade and he invaded. God told Ahmadinejad of Iran to ponder rubbing out Israel from the map of history. God told Netanyahu to pass along the message to Iran: Think Amalek, boobie. An allusion to divinely inspired genocide that bade the Hebrews unleash one of history’s most successful holocausts killing every last man, woman, child, chicken, cow and goat of the Amalekites. Well, as those of you who read your Bible know, Saul took the animals as reward, angering Yehovah, but that is another story.

Pluto had Doomsday postponed when it entered Capricorn in late 2008 a short time after Barack Obama was elected president of the United States on a Pluto-in-Sagittarian platform of sweeping change we can believe. (Uranus just digs that to no end!). However, belief needs the “meat” in Capricorn, sign of the Goat. The first thing Pluto did to get a planet’s goat was cast new mass moods to play with Uranus’ head, Saturn’s limits and funk up Jupiter’s avuncular.

Barack Obama’s popular call for Uranian change pitted itself against the ruler of the status quo (Saturn) in opposition. This Uranus (in mutable and dreamy we can “believy” Pisces) opposing Saturn (in mutable and sometimes fickle Virgo, the harvester of sweet or bitter lessons) is the astrological aspect defining Obama’s first term in office. The opposition was active in the final weeks of his campaign and glittering in night skies above the floodlights of Chicago’s Grant Park victory rally on the globally warmed autumnal election night on which he won the dream presidency (4 November).

The Uranus-Saturn opposition later re-engaged its bout of change wrestling opposition on Obama’s Inauguration Day, 20 January 2009, that at least on the surface and despite Saturn’s grapple, brought to America one of its greatest changes: an African American sworn in as President. Add to that a complete break with Saturnian status quo, breaking the East of the Rockies US birth bias. Obama is the first native-born US Westerner since Nixon; moreover, a native as far West as you can go and remain in a US state unless you were an Aleut hailing from Kiska, AK.

Say “HI” to the African American surfer dude from Honolulu Hawaii. What could be more Uranian “blow your mind” than that?

Yes, yes, I anticipate emails from Birthers in my Internet community who claim Obama waves a bogus Hawaiian birth certificate. Some distinctly racist John Bircher birthers wave their own spurious Internet-manufactured CGI induced evidence of Kenyan certificates with attachments of same soon to flood my inbox once again. Either way, Obama in office is a change in electing the usual Caucasian Wasps East-of-the-Rockies habit, is it not?

So why has Obama’s staged change drama often found itself awkwardly stumbling and progressing with difficulty on History’s odeum? Because history has redesigned the floorboards and moved the floodlights since Obama won his presidential audition. Pluto’s set design is no longer the Sagittarian one he was first familiar with during the campaign and for most of the years of his ambitious rise to prominence since November 1995. The play’s the thing on Pluto’s new stage and it ain’t set up no more for Sagittarian flights of aspiration. Shot your bolt, booby, when it comes to the ambitious can-thinking they can do the president and make the dream so. Why?

Because Pluto, history’s stage manager of civilization’s twelve step transformation plan through the signs of the Zodiac in every 248-year-long orbit, redesigned History’s stage after a 13-year transit of Sagittarius ending 28 November 2008, a few weeks after Obama’s election victory. Pluto’s collective unconscious powers to degenerate or regenerate civilization will henceforth direct history’s show in the theater marquee of Capricorn. The Capricorn season will last far longer than Obama’s standup political show of 4 to 8 years. It will not be over from the time of this blog’s posting in June 2010 for another 14 years. Pluto in 2024 will renovate history’s Bijou from down-to-business Capricorn to the electric blue colors of avant guard-yourself-everybody Aquarius.

The last time Pluto stage-managed History in a Capricorn theater was 1762 through 1777. Most notably running the “show” called the secular Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason. The closing act opened the American Revolution. The birth of America, and its Declaration of Independence is a “To Thee I Sing” musical comedy that inspired the direction of history coming full cycle at the end of the era of modern democracy as we knew it! Now we are back again on Capricorn’s Plutonian stage 248 years later. Are we ready to wager a new power shifting age?

What is listed on the program for this new generation-lasting epic?

An urgent need for a new age of Reason. A profound need for a new American Revolution.

Pluto guides Capricorn mass movements towards redefining political and economic structures. The power brokers are no longer politicians as 248 years ago but the captains of ambition and the kings of corporate industry. The “status” in status quo will pit the world’s people against a new aristocracy.

The new king George’s that do not hear the will of the people come to America not as royalty of blood but rich in profit royalty from the blood line of buck. The English “king” who is not listening to an angry American populace is a person like Tony Hayward, the British CEO of a multi-billion-dollar global conglomerate, British Petroleum. And if mad King George this time around is played by Tony Haywire and does not put a cork in his hole, the American people and president just might rise up in arms once again.

Power elites, like the last Pluto-in-Capricorn transit, will try to control an emergent desire for freedom, independence and popular democracy with suppressive conservatism. Only this time the struggle has taken on a global context. The challenge for democracy of nations this Pluto-in-Capricorn cycle will be a struggle for a workable global model for an emerging global civilization. It can degenerate into a global police state or between now and 2024 we may witness and directly engage in a regeneration of the American dream of democracy on a global scale.

Global government, like it or not, is an irresistible destiny pushed by Pluto in the era of its Capricorn transit. It will happen. Try then to drop your horse-and-buggy brained illusions that the car of this future can run out of gas. Train your genius, your guts and perhaps even risk your lives to be a part of a global and hopefully peaceful revolution against a gathering CEOlygarchy that wants to King George you all under its corporate global empire.

You need a world government. Oh, yes you do! One for, of and by the people, not Korporate Kings.

A world parliament is your destiny. Postpone it, sabotage it, and hand your world to a corporate global dictatorship therefore. Then watch the relatively mild bloodshed of the American Revolution turn into the blood bath and chaos of Pluto’s return to Aquarius in 2024, where it once sharpened guillotine blades in the terror of the French Revolution.

Upon this Plutonian Capricorn stage comes blonde Uranus prancing out of the wings in its transit of Aries starting at the end of last month. The astrological “hero” of our play, performs impetuous Siegfried pitted against a status quo Fafner dragon for the bulk of a decade. Uranus launches rebellion, new thinking and very likely, very soon, will upset systemic norms in political, social and economic structures. Uranus in Aries storms the lair of Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto can consort with conservative dragons hoarding tradition and habitual dysfunction like a greedy treasure piled and padlocked in a cave of dogma against change.

Siegfried-Uranus will have at you with sudden and surprising slices and stabs with needful sword. The dragon of old-style capitalism will be wounded. There will be economic meltdowns, as soon as autumn this year as forecasted in detail in Predictions for 2010. The dragon will bleed the red russet blood of Gulf of Mexican oil.

Uranus will rebel and Pluto in Capricorn will first suppress then later in the near decade battle with change, submit to transform the architecture of politics and commerce on a collective level bringing death and rebirth to civilization’s many systems of power. The dragons fall. There will happen a death of nation states reborn into the global village.

Pluto wrestling with Uranian rebellion throughout the coming decade can be seismic. The planet is interconnected with the will, collective mind and unconscious, massed psychic forces of humanity.

The shifting of great cycles of time such as we are enduring years before 2012 — and far beyond it into the 2020s — will not only cathart upheavals in human consciousness but un-hinge in great paroxysms the sky’s climate in storms and earth’s lands and oceans in temblors.

This July will see visited over our skies one of the most powerful astrological configurations in many decades. Jupiter (ruler of higher minded expansion or self-indulgent, self-righteousness) continues to magnify with either-or influence, Uranus (change or chaos) to which it is conjoined in the early degrees of the sign of Aries (new beginnings, enterprises, or hasty rushes to disaster, war).

Saturn enters our stage on wings of Virgo to tarry for a two-year transit of Libra — the sign of balance or what is out of balance exposed. Saturn is in a cardinal sign now, like Uranus and Jupiter. Read therefore a dramatic test of leadership or lack thereof in history’s pending summer of crises and challenges.

Saturn (ruler of limits and reality checks) in July will return to its Obama-Administration-defining opposition with Uranus (Change versus Status Quo resistance). This time they no longer tug at each other in the theoretical, abstract, mutable signs of the Obama regime’s birth, Pisces and Virgo. Progressed to Cardinal signs Aries and Libra, they demand an end to dreaming and talking. Time to LEAD. This goes for all leadership cliques and aristocracies — political, business or religious.

LEAD. Otherwise suffer Pluto’s Capri-cornering the world into a trap of structural degeneration into Uranian chaos and Saturnian stalemates when the blows of crises come falling, starting in July, and pummel the world with economic, natural and seismic thrusts and rolls through the autumn of 2010.

Starting this summer we will see what mettle our leaders and the peoples of entire nations have. The tables in Pluto’s drama are turned for now against progress. They tilt to leaders and nations applying old-think and past solutions that do not solve our future’s unique and global problems. In early July, Uranus goes retrograde, retreating backwards from progressive change whilst Saturn’s status quo forces have advantage. Uranus will be retreating from change back in mid-August into the retrograde illusions where words trump action in the dreaminess of Pisces until December. Then collective urges for change move forward once again and keep moving forward out of Pisces back into enterprising Aries in March 2011, and will not look back, staying in Aries for nearly a decade hence until it enters Taurus for good in 2019.

Why does Pluto decide the summer, which way the rope tugs in the Uranian-Saturnian pull? Because it will be hovering in Capricorn EXACTLY 90 degrees above the Uranus-Saturn opposition through August. It will point its sword of Damocles hanging down from heaven as the vertical line of a grand inverted T Square of the Uranus and Saturn opposition.

Earthquakes are coming to the polity and the economy. They will ultimately expose systemic cancers in the structures that can no longer sustain our advancing civilization towards its new global model. We are already seeing the influence of this grand square in the bungling of national and corporate response to the ongoing and what could readily become the largest oil spill disaster in history.

We await hurricanes in the Gulf. So far, the hurricane season follows what I predicted for 2010: Hot but dry weather and generally without tropical storms in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. No storms so far at the time of this writing but that could change. A pulse of thunderstorms out of Western Africa crosses the tropical waters of the Atlantic two months early. Will they congeal and become the first major hurricane?

The season is young and it may harbor fewer hurricanes as I predicted last year. I foresaw only one dire supterstorm hitting land in the 2010 Hurricane Season. It would only take one “Hurricane Andrew” to bring hydrocarbon rains and oil-clogged storm surges on shore. May it not hit the Gulf; however, I think the storm I foresee will track to a landfall somewhere on the Eastern Texas-Western Louisiana coast. That might miss the oil slick even though it would devastate the thickest population of refineries and oil storage areas in North America; ergo, a possible cause for triple-digit a barrel costs this autumn subsequently ushering another world economic crisis.

There will be earthquakes this summer, perhaps some of the greatest recorded by modern instruments. Prepare for them in Southern California, off the Oregon Coast. Brace for them in China and along the Himalayan mountain fringes and continental shelves of the Indian subcontinent. See a revolution suppressed in Iran coming up earthquakes. Watch for the continued creep of major temblors northward on the eastern half of the Pacific Ring of Fire from Chile all the way to Los Angeles.

Also, note the activity of planets. It is with shocking regularity that great earthquakes and tsunamis happen when Uranus is in square or opposition to other major planets and often in earth signs (signs of earthquakes). Observe the following list of great and devastating quakes of the 20th and 21st centuries. They are evidence that the ways of Uranus conjoining Jupiter, opposing Saturn while in its Grand T Square with Pluto are to be carefully watched and thus all should be prepared for seismic fireworks beginning sometime not long after the firework shows of the American Fourth of July Holiday:

The most powerful quake ever recorded by instruments happened when the Sun just transited out of Taurus (earth sign, quakes) with a near square of Uranus in Leo.

Second largest quake ever seismically recorded happened when Uranus and Saturn were in opposing signs. This time switched from the present opposition with Saturn in Pisces and Uranus in Virgo (earth sign equals quakes!).

Tangshan, China, 27 July 1976, magnitude 7.5
Perhaps the greatest killer quake recorded in modern times with an unofficial death toll exceeding 600,000 souls. Earthquakes often happen around Full or New Moons. It was New Moon on the 27July 1976. Uranus was in Scorpio in an approximate square of Mars, Saturn and the Sun in Leo.

Vast earth waves and mountain landslides leveled cities carrying off over 80,000 in Central China when Uranus and Saturn were in opposite signs (Pisces and Virgo).

The second largest quake in history recorded by seismograph caused a death toll mostly from its generated tsunami that unofficially killed over 300,000 people. Uranus and Pluto were at work again in a near grand T Square of a near Uranus in Pisces opposition with Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Sagittarius. It would seem that quakes do not always happen exactly on grand T-squares but within the approximate time and location of these.

The seventh largest earthquake ever measured shook the coastline off Concepción unleashing a killer tsunami into four Chilean fishing ports. A more moderate tsunami raced across the Pacific Ocean requiring millions of people around the Pacific Rim to evacuate their shores. It happened the day before a Full Moon in Virgo squared Jupiter in Pisces. Uranus was also 23 degrees Pisces.

Significant volcanic eruptions have already hit this year in Cost Rica, Equator, and the South Pacific Vanuatu Island chain. The most notable eruption belched weeks of ash from an Icelandic volcano in April that grounded air traffic across Europe for weeks. Uranus and Saturn were in near opposition at that time.

On the 121st anniversary of Hitler’s birthday the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded and burned causing a human-induced and ongoing volcanic eruption of oil poisoning the Gulf of Mexico. Guess what Uranus and Saturn were up to on Hitler’s birthday? They were within on degree of an EXACT opposition: Uranus 28 degrees Pisces. Saturn 29 degrees Virgo (an earth sign, as in volcanic).

I am sorry that my message today must be so long and so terrifying, but time is too short to parse these predictions out in the coming weeks. We must watch carefully and brace for Uranus in opposition to Saturn, for they are poised to up heave our summer hanging on Pluto’s grand square as catalyst.

The world of nature and climate must go to war against us because it cannot longer tolerate our locust-like growing host of wasteful consumers, progressing into the deepening mental static of global unconsciousness.

We are fast asleep and Mother Nature must shake us hard so that we can look anew beyond dreams and nightmares that define our sleep. The sleeper must mass awaken, demands Pluto, and perceive what it is to be human.

Death and resurrection is coming to what we once thought and habitually believed is truly of economic, social and spiritual value.

This summer begins a process that will last decades. We begin encountering what does not work and crumbles before our expectations of our leaders, our politics, our economic paradigms, and our social interactions. Our icons of belief stand on clay feet and come cracking down beginning this summer and throughout the 2020s and 2030s.

Putting it another way, humanity has been wearing masks of civilization and humanity at the cost of discovering their authentic humanity and civility of the heart. The coming times will suddenly knock our masks off many times. We will keep putting them back on again, and have them slapped off harder and harder until we wear naked our original face of true and otherwise hidden selves.

Let Uranus opposed Saturn Squared Pluto help you lose your mask so that you can see your “original face” — the one you had before you were born. The one you have now but have forgotten, even though there are meditation techniques I can share with you that could help you re-member, unite, with that original face you have ever-now and forever yours eternal.

Seek the original truth, solve the world’s problems with original genius and give birth to a new human civilization. The signs of summer will launch us.

This is the final installment of my reply to STRATOR’s Geopolitical Weekly report, entitled “The Iranian Election and the Revolution Test” by George Friedman. Do check out STRATFOR at www.strafor.com.

We will now look farther ahead to see if STRATFOR’s extrapolations match my oracle’s intuition. The future is where STRATFOR and I stray.

A lot of time has passed, about six weeks or so, since the Iranian presidential elections. The victorious Ahmadinejad administration prepares for its official inauguration for a second-term. I expect there will be protests that Western press outlets will magnify out of proportion, just as they recently did framing the public criticisms of Ayatollahs in the Theocracy decrying the crackdown of Mousavi voters as some rebellion of clerics in the revolutionary councils against Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Ayatollah Khamenei. These are the same critical liberal voices in high power circles who vent against the right wing majority of clerics. The media only magnify their statements because it suits their bias to make the Green Revolution appear more widespread than it currently is. The West through a biased media telescope is at least getting some taste of the hurly-burly of Iranian politics. This ain’t North Korea, folks. Never has been a monolithic political state where everyone is suppressed to follow the leader’s tune

The country has settled in a new routine six weeks after the elections, a new undercurrent of minority discord in a majority Islamist state.

This failed rebellion will have historic consequences for the future of Iran. Long after CNN finds another news cycle to keep its ratings high — for instance the death of Michael Jackson all but blacked out reports of the crackdown in the streets of Teheran better than Basijis on motorbikes brandishing riot sticks could ever do — the Green Revolution will move off the streets of Teheran and behind locked doors within mosques in Qom. It will be a three-way struggle for the future of the Iranian people pitting the moderate clerics against their Grand Ayatollah Khamenei and both will be put under the pressure of a “people power” movement the Mousavi supporters are loath to recognize and the Western media simply passes over, clueless of its power.

It is the people power movement that brought Ahmadinejad his first term in office in 2005 when the polls by phone said he would lose. It also is a youth movement of the pious, of the religiously militant who await the advent of the mystical Mahdi, the 12th Imam, and the Shia Islamic version of the end times. Islamic Armageddon is wrapped in black flags of holy Jihad charging west out of Iran, marching all the way to Jerusalem. This latter-day Jihad will take it back for Islam. Ahmadinejad is their leader.

I described this subplot to future Middle Eastern catastrophe at length in Nostradamus: the War with Iran (See Nostradamus Iran prediction). Not even STRATFOR’s Friedman in the close of his article illuminates the religious fervor that guides a majority of this youthful country, where the medium average age of 70 million Iranians is 27 and two thirds of the country are under the age of 30. The majority of the youth in Iran are with Ahmadinejad, for now.

Let us turn to Friedman’s closing statement:

Tensions Among the Political Elite
All of this not to say there are not tremendous tensions within the Iranian political elite. That no revolution broke out does not mean there isn’t a crisis in the political elite, particularly among the clerics. But that crisis does not cut the way Western common sense would have it. Many of Iran’s religious leaders see Ahmadinejad as hostile to their interests, as threatening their financial prerogatives, and as taking international risks they don’t want to take. Ahmadinejad’s political popularity in fact rests on his populist hostility to what he sees as the corruption of the clerics and their families and his strong stand on Iranian national security issues.

The clerics are divided among themselves, but many wanted to see Ahmadinejad lose to protect their own interests. Khamenei, the supreme leader, faced a difficult choice last Friday. He could demand a major recount or even new elections, or he could validate what happened. Khamenei speaks for a sizable chunk of the ruling elite, but also has had to rule by consensus among both clerical and non-clerical forces. Many powerful clerics like Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani wanted Khamenei to reverse the election, and we suspect Khamenei wished he could have found a way to do it. But as the defender of the regime, he was afraid to. Mousavi supporters’ demonstrations would have been nothing compared to the firestorm among Ahmadinejad supporters — both voters and the security forces — had their candidate been denied. Khamenei wasn’t going to flirt with disaster, so he endorsed the outcome.

The Western media misunderstood because they didn’t understand that Ahmadinejad does not speak for the clerics, but against them, that many of the clerics were working for his defeat, and that Ahmadinejad has enormous pull in the country’s security apparatus. The reason Western media missed this is because they bought into the concept of the stolen election, therefore failing to see Ahmadinejad’s support and the widespread dissatisfaction with the old clerical elite. The Western media simply didn’t understand that the most traditional and pious segments of Iranian society support Ahmadinejad because he opposes the old ruling elite. Instead, they assumed this was like Prague or Budapest in 1989, with a broad-based uprising in favor of liberalism against an unpopular regime.

Tehran in 2009, however, was a struggle between two main factions, both of which supported the Islamic republic as it was. There were the clerics, who have dominated the regime since 1979 and had grown wealthy in the process. And there was Ahmadinejad, who felt the ruling clerical elite had betrayed the revolution with their personal excesses. And there also was the small faction the BBC and CNN kept focusing on — the demonstrators in the streets who want to dramatically liberalize the Islamic republic. This faction never stood a chance of taking power, whether by election or revolution. The two main factions used the third smaller faction in various ways, however. Ahmadinejad used it to make his case that the clerics who supported them, like Rafsanjani, would risk the revolution and play into the hands of the Americans and British to protect their own wealth. Meanwhile, Rafsanjani argued behind the scenes that the unrest was the tip of the iceberg, and that Ahmadinejad had to be replaced. Khamenei, an astute politician, examined the data and supported Ahmadinejad.

Now, as we saw after Tiananmen Square, we will see a reshuffling among the elite. Those who backed Mousavi will be on the defensive. By contrast, those who supported Ahmadinejad are in a powerful position. There is a massive crisis in the elite, but this crisis has nothing to do with liberalization: It has to do with power and prerogatives among the elite. Having been forced by the election and Khamenei to live with Ahmadinejad, some will make deals while some will fight — but Ahmadinejad is well-positioned to win this battle.

He is well positioned to do more than that: let power reveal the inner corruption of religious extremism and will-to-apocalyptic brinksmanship already lurking in his little mind perhaps to catastrophic consequences for his regime and for the ruling Theocracy. President Obama has his challenges cut out for him to bring a diplomatic solution and prevent the war with Iran that the Bush administration and Zionists in Israel have worked and planned so patiently to unleash.

Pro war hawks hypnotize Israeli government thinking and they are thinking “Amalek” — the biblical annihilation of ancient Israel’s most implacable foe. Iranians are the new Amalekites who the Lord of Hosts in the Book of Samuel commanded Saul to obliterate: every man, woman, child, sheep, cow, house and piece of property.

It isn’t just Ahmadinejad talking apocalyptic. The man who infamously said he also wanted to wipe Israel off the map of history has more power and influence than before, just as Iran becomes more isolated from the community of nations. His outrageous statements in a climate of suppression at home and new pariah status abroad will only become more extreme. Now economic reform is farther from his grasp if sanctions should be coming. What his supporters forgave in his first term will not be forgiven in the second: economic recovery.

Hey, Ahmadinejad, it is not the 12th Imam, it is the Iranian Economy, stupid! That will take him and the theocracy down or greatly moderate its behavior by 2013.

Here’s the worst case scenario: Ahmadinejad will keep the country united and more militant than before the Green Revolution with fear of outside forces trying to undermine Iran’s revolution he will use his Bashiri vigilantes to suppress descent further.

He is right, by the way, outside forces are trying to influence Iranian life and politics, big and often bloody time.

Seymour Hersh, an investigative reporter for the New Yorker, has reported that non-Persia Iranian terrorists trained and supplied by the CIA and US special forces have waged terror bombings throughout Iran killing hundreds of civilians since 2005.

Iran, of course has waged and will now wage again its own clandestine conflicts in Iraq against US troops. Did you notice how the bombings in Iraq increased after the Iranian Election rebellion? Iran will use Hezbullah in Lebanon to fight Israel again. The suppression of the moderates in Iran, the empowerment of Netanyahu in Israel, the post-Bush spillover into the Obama era of neo-Conservative-supported insurrections by US sources in Iran, all position Ahmadinejad to be more dangerous and make Obama’s diplomatic mission more untenable this late summer into autumn.

Iran will have its revolution and the theocracy will be greatly moderated in the near future, perhaps in a year or so, because of the adventures of Ahmadinejad will bring to the Iranian people “apocalypse fatigue” and economic ruin. He will derail his presidency chasing after a 12th Imam who is more than invisible, it is illusion.

Ahmadinejad blindly following a dream of Islamic eschatology will severely crack the political stability of theocracy in Iran.

What follows is just graffiti sprayed on the wall of a closed mind. The stones have no intelligence. It is therefore easy to predict that this mind imposed upon you will not get what I am saying unless your birthright intelligence can break out from behind the wall, in which your society has imprisoned it.

I am a Mousavi supporter. I want his moderate revolution to succeed; however, it will not succeed as long as the movement is filled with people like you who would rather dream things are so than make them so.

We have to come back to reality if we what to make the Green Revolution in Iran a reality.

We are being duped by our own media and our own fantasies to think that a revolution of moderates in Iran is succeeding. It is not, for now. A year from now, a different story, even though its eventual success will be in the final reckoning just another so-called revolution like all the others. Real revolution has not yet happened in this world.

We have to face facts, not illusions. Moreover, the readers of my bulletins will often have to confront things that go against their projections. If people do not like what they are reading here, nothing is stopping them from going somewhere else to nourish what they want to see.

This blog is dedicated to those who say yes to the only revolution that can possibly change the world: a revolution in witnessing consciousness that uses the mind as its servant — not the master.

There is no greater tyrant overlording all of you right this very moment than the conditioned, programmed mind. This is the true Satan.

It thrives as long as we go on living unconscious of its prison for our minds and hearts. We must stop pretending the prison walls do not exist. We must encounter them, understand the nature of this prison, so we can then break free of it.

The outside imposed misperception of the hammer and the car, the robotic adherence to morals and religious dogma, the identification with nationalistic mindsets that has us persecuting and killing each other and a thousand other false personas imposed become mind-dirt that buries the being from our conscious awareness. We walk for 70 years or so of life in the shadow of our own graves hypnotized to think we are alive, thinking and feeling for ourselves.

We all have this wall built up around our intelligence and soul. A few of us are aware the wall exists and are beginning a breakout. A few of us want to really be alive and rediscover our lost and innocent intelligence of soul.

An authentic move by the Iranian people towards a democratic government was killed by the USA. It is our national bad karma that afterwards the Shah’s brutal secret police — the Savak — tyrannized his people turning them away from perceived Western democratic hypocrisy into hands of fanatic ayatollahs and an Islamic fundamentalist revolution by 1979. If Iran’s political aspirations had been left alone by US intelligence, who knows? Perhaps Iran would have followed a more moderate political evolution similar to that of Turkey and found a working balance between Islamic and secular democratic law.

Countries like individuals suffer or enjoy actions and reactions. The American sins of our fathers become, in a national context the sins of we the sons and daughters. The Karma Americans confront today started with our government in the early 1950s sending Iran a message. We talk democracy and crushed it with the Shah. The Iranian people turned away from Western democracy and now live under a theocracy after they threw down the Shah a second time. We created the majority of young voters your CNN will not report about that voted Ahmadinejad and Islamic fundamentalism into power with a landslide.

I seems the warped presentation of CNN and other Western corporate owned news agencies continue to rely on your ignorance to get away with their agendas. Somebody upstairs at corporate media headquarters is marketing the idea that Iran is about to have another popular democratic rebellion. I guess like the one the CIA and the Shah stamped out of existence. Moreover, if there isn’t actually any widespread support for such in Iran, Corpmedia will make it look otherwise, just like newsreels in 1952 propagated the young Shah Reza Palavi fraudulently as a benevolent, beloved leader of his people deposed by anti-democratic forces. (Gee, only a commie would unseat “our” anti-communist dictator friends, right? I mean, the people in Iran wouldn’t actually vote into office a parliament and Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh to end this Iranian Emperor’s autocratic rule so that they could enjoy and practice the same democratic values we enjoy, right?)

Crush a popular democratic movement in the 1950s and you get a popular movement electing this piece of work in a landslide in 2009. Such is our US national bad karma.

The people and their news sources are guided by passionate bias for underdogs of like minds. Freedom seeking college kids in the streets of Teheran are our “good guys.” All evidence must conform to that identification. Any evidence that supports some of the claims of those to which our hearts have peremptorily closed — the “bad guys” — dismiss it off hand. Don’t even speak it. Shoo that little fly of fact. Don’t bother me with a tickle of truth that might disturb my sleeping BS sniffer when propaganda spills out of “good guy” mouths.

Once we have emotional investment in our underdogs never being wrong or doing wrong, things that Friedman lists below in his skeptical inquiry of Mousavi supporter calls of Ayatollah managed voter fraud can feel as hard to take as pealing one’s skin. Case in point: a question that undermines the blind faith carried by the media for all involved in Mousavi’s green-clad revolution and its brave demonstrators.

What if the Iranian presidential election was for the most part fair and Ahmadinejad actually did have grounds to say his landslide victory was legitimate.

Yes, yes, I know the regime sucks. Ahmadinejad major sucks. But let’s be frank. The hundreds of thousands of voting students and twitterers are illuminated in evidence of their own “tweets” logged before and during the 12 June elections prove they signed up to vote according to the system the regime structured for the elections. These kids know what the regime is. They participated in that establishment. Casting a ballot is casting their support for the legal totalitarian system that would check for any voter fraud.

A massive emotive investment of the moderates was fed excitement by a cell phone poll anticipating a Mousavi landslide in a country where the vast majority of voters do not have cell phones. The twitter voters collectively wanted to win and no reality or fact would dissuade this almost religiously blind desire — a desire mind you that is as blindly zealous as that veiling the reason of Iranian Revolutionary Guards in their worldview as they now answer with their bullets and clubs and knocks on the door in the middle of the night.

Ahmadinejad is a jerk. A jerk that “won.”

Yes, “God is great” as the famous Muslim call proclaims, but sometimes God appears unfair. Talk to the Al Gore supporters in 2000. Review your disbelief in 2004, you American voters blinded by the great John Kerry hope. America’s Ahmadinejad won his second term too.

The mass emotional expectation of Iranian Mousavi supporters worked up to a hysteria of hope. Suddenly, arch conservative Mousavi had his political aura painted in liberal tones as some kind of “Iranian Obama.” The iconic projections in the end did not match the voting results, after which the mob-twittered psychology soon advanced from one level of hysteria to the next. Voter fraud! Had to be. No time to check that. No desire either. I don’t actually “know” it. I only need to “believe” there was fraud, because I can’t face any other possibility. Not possible Ahmadinejad could beat our guy.

Denial of the possibility escalated to blind rejection. That’s how the coming 36 years of Yin-emotional times can be. Passions rise into mass hysteria. Individuals forget themselves and are carried off from being just voters accepting the system they have, to members of a mob crying “Death to the Regime!” or “Death to Ayatollah Khamenei!”

Sorry to say it, that’s smash-mouth talk. Gets an equally irrational reaction fast. Here come the Iranian rednecks. Defenders of the fundamentalist-leaning majority population’s will: duped or willing to be duped. It takes no Nostradamus to tell you good people what a world of bad will come down on your heads when pure irrational passion carries you in a week from disgruntled voter to denouncer of your irrationally dictatorial, theocratic state.

Moreover, the worst thing may be, you Mousavi supporters got this far out on a sentimental limb by mistake.

Winning the Election With or Without Fraud
We continue to believe two things: that vote fraud occurred, and that Ahmadinejad likely would have won without it. Very little direct evidence has emerged to establish vote fraud, but several things seem suspect.

For example, the speed of the vote count has been taken as a sign of fraud, as it should have been impossible to count votes that fast. The polls originally were to have closed at 7 p.m. local time, but voting hours were extended until 10 p.m. because of the number of voters in line. By 11:45 p.m. about 20 percent of the vote had been counted. By 5:20 a.m. the next day, with almost all votes counted, the election commission declared Ahmadinejad the winner. The vote count thus took about seven hours. (Remember there were no senators, congressmen, city council members or school board members being counted — just the presidential race.) Intriguingly, this is about the same time in took in 2005, though reformists that claimed fraud back then did not stress the counting time in their allegations.

The counting mechanism is simple: Iran has 47,000 voting stations, plus 14,000 roaming stations that travel from tiny village to tiny village, staying there for a short time before moving on. That creates 61,000 ballot boxes designed to receive roughly the same number of votes. That would mean that each station would have been counting about 500 ballots, or about 70 votes per hour. With counting beginning at 10 p.m., concluding seven hours later does not necessarily indicate fraud or anything else. The Iranian presidential election system is designed for simplicity: one race to count in one time zone, and all counting beginning at the same time in all regions, we would expect the numbers to come in a somewhat linear fashion as rural and urban voting patterns would balance each other out — explaining why voting percentages didn’t change much during the night.

It has been pointed out that some of the candidates didn’t even carry their own provinces or districts. We remember that Al Gore didn’t carry Tennessee in 2000. We also remember Ralph Nader, who also didn’t carry his home precinct in part because people didn’t want to spend their vote on someone unlikely to win — an effect probably felt by the two smaller candidates in the Iranian election.

That Mousavi didn’t carry his own province is more interesting. Flynt Leverett and Hillary Mann Leverett writing in Politico make some interesting points on this. As an ethnic Azeri, it was assumed that Mousavi would carry his Azeri-named and -dominated home province. But they also point out that Ahmadinejad also speaks Azeri, and made multiple campaign appearances in the district. They also point out that Khamenei is Azeri. In sum, winning that district was by no means certain for Mousavi, so losing it does not automatically signal fraud. It raised suspicions, but by no means was a smoking gun.

We do not doubt that fraud occurred during Iranian election. For example, 99.4 percent of potential voters voted in Mazandaran province, a mostly secular area home to the shah’s family. Ahmadinejad carried the province by a 2.2 to 1 ratio. That is one heck of a turnout and level of support for a province that lost everything when the mullahs took over 30 years ago. But even if you take all of the suspect cases and added them together, it would not have changed the outcome. The fact is that Ahmadinejad’s vote in 2009 was extremely close to his victory percentage in 2005. And while the Western media portrayed Ahmadinejad’s performance in the presidential debates ahead of the election as dismal, embarrassing and indicative of an imminent electoral defeat, many Iranians who viewed those debates — including some of the most hardcore Mousavi supporters — acknowledge that Ahmadinejad outperformed his opponents by a landslide.

A thing popularly and passionately assumed or projected as true must eventually stand the test of time and events. If some massive voting fraud had taken place, as did happen in Ukraine in its national elections, would not Mousavi’s Green Revolution had rapidly escalated to something similar to Ukraine’s “Orange Revolution” from late November 2004 to January 2005? Where are the twitters and cell phone shots in Iran of army, police, rich, working class and poo, stopping the country cold, gathering in their hundreds of thousands blocking all government buildings, bringing government to a standstill until their voter complaints are addressed? What is “Orange” about this “Green” revolution? Not much, as STRATOR’s intelligence writer, Friedman, writes:

Mousavi persuasively detailed his fraud claims Sunday [21 June], and they have yet to be rebutted. But if his claims of the extent of fraud were true, the protests should have spread rapidly by social segment and geography to the millions of people who even the central government asserts voted for him. Certainly, Mousavi supporters believed they would win the election based in part on highly flawed polls, and when they didn’t, they assumed they were robbed and took to the streets.

But critically, the protesters were not joined by any of the millions whose votes the protesters alleged were stolen. In a complete hijacking of the election by some 13 million votes by an extremely unpopular candidate, we would have expected to see the core of Mousavi’s supporters joined by others who had been disenfranchised. On last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, when the demonstrations were at their height, the millions of Mousavi voters should have made their appearance. They didn’t. We might assume that the security apparatus intimidated some, but surely more than just the Tehran professional and student classes posses civic courage. While appearing large, the demonstrations actually comprised a small fraction of society.

Eight days after the Supreme Ayatollah called on the protesters to stand down or face dire consequences, the Green Revolution in Teheran streets is collapsing. Yet, blind emotions cannot, for the sake of TV ratings in America, let the failure go. CNN props up the same set of Mousavi sympathizers in America — sympathizers like me, actually, but unlike me, ever believing in their projections and aided by the corporate newsy anchors who never question their sources. One of this propagandists-in expert’s pose said the movement is not suppressed but “moving into a new phase” as if this chaotic phenomenon had a leader or a leadership to command it. Expert blind faith ignores the brutal fact that every protester now is chased by on average three policemen or Bashiri zealots with guns or riot sticks.

Does the CNN Kyra Philips ask this “expert” how he knows? Does she even ask him if he is projecting what he wants to believe?

Don’t go there. Bad for ratings in these emotion manipulating times.
